I bought an after market RS grille and got them installed at auto fx, very happy with the results. Chris was thorough and listened to all my requests, painted the crash bar and sensor caps black too. Adjusted sensors and emblem to fit in the new grille and put the quattro sticker on. Not many shops would do this kind of work I’m glad I went to them to get it done! It would be a pain to try to do it myself. Very nice, professional staff and tech. Would recommend this shop to everyone that needs work done on their car.

I recently purchased leather seats from Katskin, and had them installed (replaced the old horrible looking cloth) in my F-150 at Auto FX. The installation is beautiful, high quality, and the service was absolutely fantastic. I will go to these guys for anything I need in my vehicles going forward, and will most certainly recommend them to friends and family.

Drove from Bend Oregon to have a moonroof installed because the manufacturer is no longer making aftermarket units. Auto FX was the closest vendor that had a unit in stock that fit my car. The mechanical install looks fantastic and works flawlessly. The problem was with the headliner. They installed the wrong color. Since I picked the car up in the evening it was near impossible to tell it was the wrong color until the next day when I was already home - 6 hours one way from Auto FX.Fortunately, I was able to get the right color installed with a vendor I found in Portland only 3 hours away. Auto FX did cover the cost to replace it with the right color. However, I lost time and expense with an extra trip to correct something that should have been done right in the first place. Otherwise, I probably would have given them 5 stars.

Ive dealt with these folks awhile back & was happy then & am quite pleased once again. I will definitely deal with them once again on my other vehicle. Previous time was for window tint & deflectors...they did a decent job. This time around they synchronized my new fob to my Clifford system. The other place (foss) where I got my system from said they no longer sell, service Clifford so they couldnt synch it up, something about a special tool was needed. I called Clifford& they pointed me to Auto FX. FX said to bring it down & they would check, since it was an older system. Bottom line is that FX was able to synch it up, no special interface was needed. Simple & quick. Appears Foss didnt want to be bothered? (I called them twice & left VM asking for a call back so I could get make, model of my Clifford system that I had purchased from them, awhile back. No response whatsoever...) FX didnt charge me for synching it up...If you need car alarm work done, go to Auto FX, they know their stuff as compared to some other folks. Good customer service, no long waiting, responsive... They even do leather seats now.

Great company! Amazing service! Chris anticipated everything I needed, did a bunch of leg work on my behalf and and his team completed the job exactly as they predicted. My moonroof had failed and Chris investigated this and discovered the manufacturer had issued a recall so all the costs were covered for that repair. Then, his team did a diagnostic and service - which very reasonably priced - and now my moon roof works just like it did when I first bought it. Highly recommended!

Autofx did an amazing job tinting my car windows. Their quote was greatly priced and they were able to get me scheduled for the very next day. I am very happy with their tinting service and professionalism. Ill be back soon to get a 2nd car tinted by them.

Dropped my car at the dealer for tint. The dealer outsourced to AutoFX. There was a pretty silly miscommunication and the staff at the dealer provided 3 different stories about what caused a minor issue. Thank goodness the 4th person at at dealer put me in touch directly with AutoFX because the staff there was able to provide education and fix the issue very quickly. It doesnt seem AutoFX was the root of the issue, but even so they fixed it and everything is beautiful. I am more than pleased with the work AutoFX did, how quickly it was done, the level of professionalism everyone I encountered had, and how patient and kind the staff is. They took ownership of the issue, ensured it was corrected, and displayed a high level of integrity. I highly recommend AutoFX and would use them again if I ever need service!!

Auto FX did an excellent job on tinting the windows on my new 2020 Honda Accord. I dropped off in the morning and it was ready in the afternoon for me to pick up. Chris Diedrich is a seasoned professional in the industry and has staff that is phenomenal in the craft. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles to Auto FX for my auto accessory needs. Gave a quote to fix our sunroof as worse case scenario price. The price they called back with was $1800 more than that. We asked if they would just seal it up for us, we were told no it wont work. They said EVERYTHING was broke on the sunroof. Makes no sense because it just started leaking with the heavy rain. We wont be back because obviously they cannot be trusted. I feel like they take advantage of you.You take 3+ hours to diagnose? You open at 8? You called at 830! You lie and obviously are INCREDIBLY disrespectful with your response! Found someone in Bellevue to fix it for $1400 for parts AND labor! You wanted $3800? Dont call me (or my husband) a liar! Your worse case scenario was $2000! You do take advantage and get mad when someone calls you out!

Lost the glass out of my sunroof on my 2004 Mountaineer. Found out it was an aftermarket sunroof. Genuine Auto Glass in Puyallup recommended Auto FX. Just showed up without an appointment to see if they could fix it. They said it was a possible recall. They checked and it was. Said give them an hour and a half and it would be good to go. It didn’t cost me a penny. Everyone there was very nice and professional. Nice clean shop. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Update: 5 years later... tint looks as good as new... great work!!!Very pleased with the service and quality of tint on my Volvo V70. The shop and location is not fancy... but the staff are top notch, service is great, prices are fair, and they do some great work. Highly recommend!

I was there today for the first time and had a pleasant experience. The staff there welcomed me, which we all know is important for good customer service. I took in my vehicle for them to fix the sunroof and they did an Awesome job. I had two of my kids with me and was worried it would take too long but No..I was wrong. It was quick. Keep it up. Had an appointment this morning February 15, 2016 at eight a.m. to have a CDC light bar installed in our 2016 Mustang. Yes, today is presidents day and when I made the appointment with Chris several weeks ago he said no problem, eight oclock is fine. Does anybody show up at their shop, hell no. They installed an aftermarket sunroof on my 2008 Saturn Vue when I bought it new in Puyallup in 2008. Yesterday when doing 65 on Hiway 512 the glass flew off followed by the cloth sunshade, leaving a 2 x 3 hole in the roof.Turned around and went home and called them at about 2 p.m. and they said to bring it in at 8:30 this morning. Arrived at that time and they took it right in. Told me there had been a recall on that unit due to faulty bonding of the glass to frame, would fix it in 2 hours, no charge! Drove out at 9:45 All done.Amazing. Thanks a lot! Nice to see this kind of service there days.

Went in to get heated car seats installed on driver and passenger side. Went through a groupon which was a great value. While I had to give up the car for the day for them to complete the install, the finished work was very professional and looks like it came stock with the car.. Personnel was professional and clearly explained pricing, other services they provide and once installed demod the installation.. Was impressed.. Only downside is theres nothing to do in the immediate location after you give up your car, youll want to take an Uber/Lyft to a nearby destination or walk to a Starbucks a half mile away.. If you live in Tacoma, I guess its less of an issue..
