I am a long time customer of Canettas. Around 15 yrs to be exact. Someone recommended them to me and I have to say I am a happy customer. I am taking the time to write a review because I value so many attributes I find in this organization. Some of the qualities that are outstanding are great service, reasonable pricing, timely repairs, experienced staff, integrity, friendly and helpful interactions.Let me list a couple of experiences but with 15 yrs this is only a sample. I was out of town in Florida and while away I decided to leave my car for the week so some much needed repairs could be completed. After reviewing my car, the age etc, the mechanic suggested over the phone ( Im in Florida) I skip one of the repairs which was costly. I was willing to pay but they suggested otherwise. Here i was in a vulnerable situation out of town but because of the integrity that is so inherit in this business I was not taken advantage of.Recently my car got hit by a deer jetting out from the woods causing damage to the passengers front side. My insurance co. wanted to settle for less but this great man who own the business would not settle for less than was fair. So he went the extra mile and I received additional monies. Needless to say I felt very well taken care ofI can not say enough about this place, right down to the transportation to and from the business when repairs are being made. Loaner car when available. The owner certainly reflects the quality throughout the entire business.

Rob Canetta and his staff took excellent care of my 2006 Toyota Corolla.My car looks as if it was never damaged and they cleaned and detailed much better than I would have done myself. I recommend Canettas shop for any work you need done!!!

I got to know Canetta’s Collision when I had a small problem with my RAV4. I was new to Syracuse so I just started calling shops. The only one that would help on short notice was Canetta’s. Rob checked it out and fixed it gratis. Since then I’ve been taking our family’s cars there and he and his team have done an excellent job. I cannot recommend more highly.

Canettas is THE place to go for any car problems. I’ve stopped in 3 times in the last few months for various things and always got the highest quality treatment and service I could ask for. Rob is super honest so I feel comfortable leaving my car anytime. They also did interior detail after fixing a bumper which was beautiful.

These guys are awesome, especially Justin. I had a lease coming due with some minor body issues and they worked with me to take care of them at minimal cost. They also detailed everything inside and out - it almost looks like a brand new car. They did it all in one day and it was extremely affordable. You can trust them and Ill be recommending them to anyone who needs body work. Cant go wrong here!

I have been a longtime customer of Cannettas and have always received excellent service. On April 22, 2020 I was driving on 690 west my car became disabled right near the junction of 690 west and 81 north. This occurred during high traffic. As I was waiting for AAA, 2 of the Canetta guys came to my rescue and took me back to the shop and one of the them drove me home. They worked on my car into the evening, kept me updated by phone and had my car repaired by morning.I am so grateful for their wonderful assistance during a time of great stress. I had a small dent on my vehicle which needed to be repaired. Unfortunately, once the work began, the repair was a little more extensive than anticipated. Justin was honest and kind and walked me through what would be needed to get the job done right. After completion, the repair and paint match are flawless. Canettas go above and beyond to achieve excellence. I will be going back for future service and repairs.

Rob Canetta was incredibly helpful to me while getting my car fixed here. He did most of the communication between insurance companies and rental car companies and helped me get the correct amount of money from insurance companies to fix my car properly (he got me more than double of the original estimate). Great place for collision car care and wonderful people who work here. They also detailed my car after it was fixed and it looks beautiful.

Rob and his team did an amazing job. He made sure my car got completely fixed and that my insurance covered all that they should have. When I got my car back, it was like I got a brand new car, inside and out. Hopefully there wont be another accident, but if I have one, Im taking my car right back to Canettas.

I cant rave about Canettas enough! I was involved in my first hit-and-run a few months ago and had NO idea what to do. Rob explained absolutely everything, loaned me a car (at no cost,) and had my car fixed within a week. I also went in a few days before Christmas and was fixed up in time to drive home to Albany. I have never had a mechanic that I could rely on to this degree.I recommend going to Canettas for anything car related--especially if youre a student. Fantastic place with even better personal service!

Canettas is the only place in the Syracuse area that I trust with my car. They are great at what they do, work hard to keep prices fair, and are trustworthy. I have gone to them for body work, breaks, inspections and oil changes.

The front end of my car came off as I was going down a steep driveway...the under part of my car also was hanging low and the side of my front end bumper needed to be pushed out. I had amazing service as they looked over my car and let me know that they would have the job completed in a few hours. They were friendly, considerate and empathetic towards what happened. After completing the above work and putting clips on my front end, they ended up not charging me for their labor or costs. Truly an honest, amazing family business that is in it to help others in the community as best they can!!!!! This is my new place to go for any issues I may have with my car !!! I took my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Canettas for some body work that was covered under my insurance. My insurance company wanted to m download and app and take pictures/ describe the damage. The insurance company touted this as a time saving activity but I thought of it to be rather annoying, and this is coming from someone reasonably tech savvy. As soon as I told Rob what was going on he took the reigns and took care of everything from start to finish. I was able to keep tabs on the status of my claim through my insurance companies portal, while Rob & co did the work on the vehicle. When I got my car back it was fully detailed and had an oil change thrown in for free. I enjoyed my experience so much I took my Jeep there, rather than the dealership, when I had transmission issues. Again my car came back detailed. I fully recommend this business. I am not friends with/ nor have any relationship to anyone affiliated with Canettas Collision.

Justin and Rob offered nothing but top-notch service and care for my Jeep after a recent hit-and-run. I had not been through the situation before, and Rob walked me through the process seamlessly to help with everything. I am an SU student and I highly recommend Canettas! Not only because of the great work they did to fix my car after an accident, but also because the people who work there are extremely courteous and ethical. I was concerned about being taken advantage of since I am a college-aged kid and there can be some dicey repair shops in the Syracuse area. The owner is a great guy who walked me through every step they took to fix my car and outlined all of the expenses. Do not hesitate to take your car here, especially if you are a college student who needs a car repair while away from home!

I have been bringing my cars to Canettas for the past 5+ years for routine maintenance, annual NYS inspection, and repairs (body & mechanical.) Rob and Justin have taken the time to explain the work that needs to be done (using posters on the wall for reference). I have received comprehensive explanations components of the brakes, various tread options for tires, etc.When the dealership approximately 2 miles away has given me a laundry list of parts to replace, I have taken the same car (within days) to Canettas for a second opinion. I have never regretted following Canettas recommendations. Furthermore, when I have traded in my cars, I have been told they are impeccably maintained.At Canettas, the staff is prompt, friendly, and honest. I have also had my vehicles detailed here, and am happy with that service as well.Loaner cars are available if requested when you schedule your appointment.Based on my experiences, and that of my family, I would not expect Canettas to take advantage of customers who are young or have limited automotive knowledge. I am confident that I get the appropriate service at a fair price ... without unnecessary services thrown in.I plan to continue supporting this business, and I recommend it for maintenance, repairs, and detailing to anyone in the Syracuse area.

Worst collision center, ever. Rob kept my car for almost 30-45 days, and didnt inform me anything about the repair, and left my car at the Toyota dealer. I wasnt inform about the repair, and nothing was done. Later, I learnt that nothing was done, and the insurance acted differently, because this snitch/slob Rob Canettas sat there to benefit himself. This body shop needs -10 review for treating its own customer in the poorest fashion. If anyone of you got taken advantage or the work was done poorly or not done at all, then report it to the BBB, consumer bureau with the state agency, and also take them out to the court for settlement. Avoid this crappy body shop!!

I’m new to the area and I had a brake light out. I had no idea where to go but I’m so happy I stumbled upon this shop!! They have the most kind and knowledgeable staff. Without an appointment, they took me right in and fixed my brake light, free of charge. They will be getting my service from now on!!

I had a major breakdown with my truck 2 mos. ago. I called Canettas because it was close to me and also because some neighbors recommended them. I was blown away because they got me right in the same day I called and gave me a loaner! I was grateful that I didnt have to get a ride to work. like I had to the last time I had to have my truck fixed. I was so happy I ended up there. The owner treated me very nicely but most importantly he fixed the truck right the first time and the bill was very reasonable. I will never go anywhere else again because I have had problems at other shops before in the past.I have sent my elderly parents there as well as my cousin and they have been very thankful to now have a place they can go to for any of their auto needs.

Best service I have ever received!! I brought my vehicle in for body work and Rob, Justin & their crew went above and beyond!! Excellent job on the outside of vehicle and I have no words to describe what they did to the interior.It was amazing! It was a bit messy when I brought it in and when I got it back they had detailed the whole thing, They cleaned out all of my cup holders, door pockets and middle compartment. They took all the change they found and put in a cup and all my personal belongings in a box. I HIGHLY recommend them for everything from an oil change to bodywork. Thank you so much!!!!!-Heather H

I cant say enough great things about Canettas. We have been bringing our cars in for inspections and repairs for the last 20 years and have always been more than satisfied. The owner always makes sure that we either have a loaner car or has someone from the shop or himself take us to work and pick us up if necessary. They go above and beyond when it comes to satisfying the customer. Just before taking a mother-daughter road trip to Florida last spring break we brought the car in for service. I was on a really tight schedule and had planned to pick up the car then run wash and vaccuum the car before leaving early the next morning - I didnt have to..they had completely detailed the car for me! I would recommend Canettas to anyone looking for an auto repair/service shop - you will never need to find another one.

Both me and my wife feel strongly that we want to write this review.We took my wifes Toyota Camery for body repair work. It is not a big job (only $791). Canetta Collision Service loaned us a car for three days and get work done before New Year. When the shop only work help day on New Years Eve, they made a special trip back to shop for my wife to pick up her car( My wife is a nurse and she has to work full day in hospital on New Years Eve.)The repair work was done in excellent quality. The car was cleaned very well. Everything exceeds our expectation!When many businesses cut the cost and provide low quality products and services Canetta Collision Service stands out. They have a right way to grow business: provide the best products and services. We are willing to rank them with 10 Stars!

I can not say enough nice things regarding this Auto body shop. I recently got into an accident this past spring with the other driver admitting fault at the scene & to the police office, however, change his story with his insurance company.
