Every employee in the office is very friendly and knowledgeable. Customer service was great. My prescription and issues were described in detail. I was not pushed to purchase glasses or contacts but was given pricing for both and did not feel pressured in any way. Will definitely be my go to office from now on.

I agree with the person who said they try to over charge you when it comes to buying glasses! As far as the Dr,he said I needed glass so I filled the prescription at Costco for $185.00. Then when I got back to NC my doctor said Your eyes are almost perfect and there was no need for glasses. By the way they wanted around $800.00 for the glasses I didn’t need! I guess between AZ and NC my eyes rejuvenated themselves. I do use reading glasses but who doesn’t at 75 years old!!!

From making the appointment to going in for my eye exam it was all a very easy process! Will definitely be coming back!

We brought our 2 kids in, 5&7 for their first eye exam. Wonderful staff and a fantastic optometrist. Made everything go smoothly, definitely sticking with them. Kids had a great experience! Paid the extra for the optomap of the eyes instead of the dilation. Going to switch over to Village eye care for my wife and I also.

Very pleased with the service rendered at The Village Eye Care Surprise Az. Alaina was my first point of contact (POC) she was very interested in finding a solution to my situation. Alaina genuinely was concerned and very knowledgeable going forward to resolve my situation. The eye doctor there is two notches above excellent, very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about her clients. This is a place where everyone can feel right at home! I love this eye care 💜. The doctor is the BEST I have ever had for my eyes. He cares about his patients and really checks and test your eyes. The techs are very friendly and good at their jobs. The ladies out front are fabulous too. You will love this group for eye care.

Dr. Baird and his team are amazing! They are all friendly and very helpful and even manage to set my teenage daughter at ease, which is hard to do in most situations. There is a great vibe within the staff that flows over to the clientele. They work with you to find the best frames and lenses for your needs without being “hard sell” about it. I would readily drive an hour to see them if I had to, they are just that good! Recommend 100%.

Receptionist Rachel listened patiently, was most understanding, and found me an appointment that very morning. I was seen very soon, and truly appreciated the time spent with me by Dr. Lisa Chiles...the explanation, her answering of my questions, and the remedy. Super professional and organized. Everyone was very nice and efficient. No pressure to buy new glasses. Hubby and I were in and out with in an hour after having a full eye exam.

Are you kidding me??? This place deserves 5+ stars because of how amazing it is. From making to an appointment and checking in at the front desk, everyone was absolutely professional and welcoming. I came in 1/5/21 and I want to give everyone there Credibility for how amazing they were.

Overall loved the Doctor and friendly staff. We were new to this office. BUT they take advantage of you after you try to order glasses, they over charge you when it comes to ordering and paying for your glasses. I was quoted well over $400 for glasses here with insurance, we used our insurance at Costco and paid less than $100. When questioned all they did was put down Costco and say they are far superior to them. They didn’t offer us any other options and we made the mistake of buying my wife’s glasses here before I got mine. Lesson learned

State of the art equipment. Wonderful efficient staff who you can actually see and feel their smiles from under their masks.But the crown jewel is Dr. Baird. Not only does he take time to explain everything and interpret the results on the computer, but he is a fantastic person.He genuinely cares about his patients, both health wise and personally.I highly recommend him and his practice.

Dr. Baird is such a wonderful person and doctor. Such a pleasant spirit and always looking out for your eyes. It’s always a pleasure to come to the office everyone is very nice. My family have been seeing him off and on since 2012. My children when they were younger enjoyed coming to see Dr Baird because he always made them feel comfortable and he has a great sense of humor. I have no complaints.They also have a great selection of frames that are affordable and designers. Check them out. I don’t live in the area anymore but it is worth the drive to me with the care I receive.

Dr Baird is fun and funny. He is a joy to be around and is staff is wonderful. He also found a issue in my eye that saved me from waking up blind in that eye one day scared to death and reassured me it is 100% fixable. He also fixed my terrible eye allergies. 15 years of bedside nursing has made me really appreciate great doctors.

From the time I made an appointment to the day we have the appointment all the way through everyone was so bubbly and smiling. They made my 6 year old feel important and special. She ended up needed her first pair of glasses and the staff said so many nice things to make her feel confident about having to where them. The doctor kept making her laugh and the staff was so loving.

5 stars is not enough for this place. The doctor is extremely professional and the prescription he gives is spot on every single time and if you ask nicely he might tell you some hilarious jokes he can make anyone laughMore importantly though everyone I spoke with in this office are genuinely great people that really want to take care of you and each other it really feels liens. Family. With this pandemic going on every doctors office that sends emails to their patients are just letting you know their open for appointments, the village eye care sent a mass email letting all their customers know if they need anything from toilet paper to masks to let them know so they an help you. I have never heard of any office ever just sending an email to their customers making sure their okay and have everything they need I HIGHLY recommend the village eye care to anyone ave everyone thank you so much!

I visited Village Eye Care after being referred by a friend. The staff was extremely personable and friendly. The doctor was kind and explained what was happening with my eyesight. I feel costs were reasonable, and who wants to bargain hunt eyesight?! I would refer them to friends as well! Clean, comfortable and easy to find.

This was my first time here and it did not disappoint. I was looking for something different than the usual chain eye care places. They had great reviews so I decided to check it out. It was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, had a large eye glass selection, staff was pleasant and helpful, nobody was pushy, and the doc was awesome. It was simple and easy and I was in and out. I even had my infant son with me who stayed on my lap during my exam- nobody seemed to mind. This was probably the most easy-going experience I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend.

Staff was great. I was there today with my 92 year old Grandma. Very caring and helpful. And coming from Brazil my grandma was so happy to learn that the Dr. spoke Portuguese, made her feel very comfortable. Great experience and great staff!!

Love love LOVE this place! Been going here for years. Service is top notch, they really take the time to make sure everything is perfect. From the start of the exam, to picking out frames and fitting usually takes 1-2 hours and that may seem long, but its the attention to detail that takes that time.

Went in for the first time today and I am extremely satisfied! I’ve never had contacts or glasses but found the past year getting a bit fuzzy when driving at night. I was a little nervous. As soon as I walked in the receptionist was extremely friendly & welcoming! The nurse took me back and she was awesome. Very sweet! Then I was seen by the Dr who explained everything very thoroughly and made me feel really relaxed! Once the exam was over I had to pick out frames and go over what my insurance covered and the lady in the front was so helpful with all that info! Everyone was really amazing and I couldn’t be happier!

My family and I have been going to Village Eye Care since we moved to Arizona about 4 years ago. The doctor and his staff have always be friendly and able to help us with all of our eye care needs. Dr. Baird is good with my kids too and they like him (I think it is because he has many of his own, or they just have the same sense of humor :) ) I have also recommended Village Eye Care to many of my friends who were looking for an eye doctor or to get new eye glasses and they have always been pleased.

We were patients of Dr. Baird for 2 years. We have since moved out of the area, but absolutely loved every experience we had with the team @ Village Eye Care. We have 5 children in glasses, and one with special needs. I cannot begin to express how different the experience was than with other offices. The employees genuinely seem to enjoy the work they do, and the go above and beyond. We had an insurance company that requires lenses be filled from a specific lab back east.... the lab lost the frames, messed up the lenses, then lost them.... The entire staff worked diligently to help us resolve the issue, even though it wasnt their mistake. I dont often leave reviews, especially negative ones because any person or group can have an off day, but with a team like this a good review is a pleasure to provide. I assure you I am not a personal friend of anyone employed by Village Eye Care, I am not a family member, nor am I employed there. I actually live out of state now, but would return to them without hesitation if I ever found myself back in the area.
