I took my grandson to get a costume. The experience was lousy. Whoever is writing the paychecks is wasting their money. All of the employees that were suppose to be helping locate costumes, answer questions about them, and just be helpful, were not. They stood in a group right in front of the wall of costumes and talked. One girl just blank stared me when I asked a specific question about a size I needed for grandson. Then a younger man that was in group was talking so loud and made a rude comment about my grandson that they all thought was funny. The only person I saw working hard was in the back pulling costumes. An older man..well older than the not working group... He was working hard, I guess doing his job and theirs.

The staff was so helpful to me! I unknowingly bought helium balloons too soon and they all fell before my sons birthday party! I went back and asked if there was anything they could do to help me. They offered to replace them without charge! They also informed me that theres an additive called hi-float, which is recommended to give the balloons a longer life. It definitely made a difference, so I advise you use it. My first set of balloons lasted only about 14 hours. The new ones are still lively at 34 hours old! Thanks again, party city! My sons birthday party was a success!

People at the counter are really nice. We made ordering birthday balloons and scheduling a pickup super easy. Also had most of the party supplies that I needed for an upcoming 6-year-old birthday party. Even grabbed a Halloween costume while I was there.

The lady who helped with my balloon order was so kind and helpful. She made sure she was very thorough in getting exactly what I wanted. They have a really wide range of themed birthday supplies, which was really nice.

I understand understaffed. The world is. But being understaffed doesnt mean you should abandon brainpower and common sense.Being short seems to me to be a bigger reason to kill 2 birds with one stone.

I like it because my wife is on a singing app and I can get her Dress Up items here. Dislike because, out of the 4 girls up front, not a single 1 could help me with 1 item I could not find. U gotta know your store if you want return customers. You think waiters/waitresses take an order at a table when they have no clue whats on their menu?

It seems like the layout could be better. Its always a struggle to look at Halloween costumes, accessories, and decorations as theyre usually crammed together and crowded with people. Most of the other aisles were empty. I understand its a busier time but there could be a better way to spread it out. They are good for specific themed party supplies, balloons, and piñatas. The customer service was just okay.

They helped us out with things for my granddaughters birthday party. Very good crew.

Called before we went. The man was very courteous and friendly. When went in store. They was very helpful and kind. Wasnt rushed or pushed a side.

When I walked in I was a bit overwhelmed. However, there was immediately staff available to ask if I needed help, and to point me in the right direction. When I found what I needed, after giving my number to the staff member, it was literally waiting for me when I got to the pickup area. (Less than 2 minutes total) There were clear directions to the checkout and I was in and out within 15 min. Everyone was so helpful!

Had to pay a lot just balloons ribbon and something to hold it down with the weight but it was worth all of it such wonderful customer service very grateful

The Party City corporation is a joke. Hands down the most unprofessional and unhelpful customer service I have ever had the unfortunate pleasure of speaking to. They charged my card a total of $90 for a $54 purchase. The charge remained on my card for two days. For two days I had was out $90 when I made a purchase for $54.00 and Party Citys response was the extra charge will fall off in few businesses days. Some people do not have the financial luxury of paying $90 for a $54 order ESPECIALLY in this current climate. I will never ever make another purchase from this company ever again.

Every one knows that Halloween is a wild time to go to Party City. We went the day before Halloween. I definitely expected for things to be way more hectic than they were. For being busy, they were working their butts off to stay organized. My son found a costume he was excited about fairly quickly. Before we left, he was able to try his Sonic the Hedgehog costume on in a clean changing room. The 3 guys working the changing rooms were as sweet as can be. My son came out of the room in costume and they made a fuss over him dressed up as Sonic. I am also happy to say that he went potty there before we left. They even had a clean bathroom. They gave us a military discount, after we provided an id. We paid 34.04 for his costume after the discount was applied. I love that they had 2 police officers keeping watch up front that engaged well with my son as he excitedly showed them his costume. We will be back soon for party supplies/holiday decorations. Thank you Party City for an amazing experience.

I saw a tree skirt that was really nice on the Part City web page.. other than slim pickins for anything at all which is non uncommon nowadays..... this was ridiculous! It wouldnt even make a Barbie Doll skirt!!

I went into this party city and got charged 30$ for gender reveal balloons. I wanted to be surprised but instead I was highly confused. We bought 3 of the largest black balloons which was selected for us we did not have a choice in that. 1 balloon had blue and pink. 1 balloon had pink. 1 balloon had blue. If my fiance hadnt have known the gender I seriously wouldve had no idea what I was having. This is my first child that Ive been able to do this with and Im so sad at how this turned out for me.

The first time I placed an online order for store pick up I was surprised to have to wait in line and pay in the store. Every other online/store pick up I’ve done there’s a designated area for pick up and the payment is processed ahead of time. Anyways I picked up most of my order but I needed to come back the following week for a balloon order that they said would be ready and all I’d have to do is give my name. Wrong! My friend went to pick it up and she waited two hours. They couldn’t find record of my order and wanted a physical receipt. An online receipt wasn’t enough. An order number with a confirmation email from Party City of the items I purchased wasn’t enough. A text of my license wasn’t enough. Finally someone decided it was enough and gave my friend different balloons that were a comparable substitute. That should’ve been done five minutes into the pick up.I decided I’d try Party City again and would go into the store and make a balloon order in person. They didn’t have the balloons I wanted but said they’d be getting them in the next day and asked for my name and number and they would put them on hold for me once they came in. I called the next day and the associate said she couldn’t find them so they probably hadn’t come in. I asked if my name and number were anywhere and she said no. Then I asked if she could write my name and number down and she said, “Hold on I have a customer”. Uh I’m a customer. I hung up. I am done with that store. To the manager of that Party City, you either need to hire better people or train them better in customer service. To cooperate Party City you need a better online/store pick up method.

Even though they didnt have much we could use the super friendly staff helped us look and offered very useful solutions for us to use. We did find some very nice things and they will add a great touch to our party. Its always a super fun place to go. The staff is what really makes it special.

Helpful staff and speedy balloon service. We went for birthday supplies and they had so much (no construction themed birthday supplies though). They do have a great selection for themed birthdays for cartoon characters and movies.

Dont find myself here very often but today was a great experience. Got some Birthday balloons & before I got out the door one popped & the girls happily replaced it!!! Extensive array of party supplies!! Prices are lower than I expected. I feel like I need to have more parties just so I can go here more!!!

I usually find everything I need plus much more at Party City. This time was not the case. I was looking for certain themed birthday supplies and their product was very low on stock with several items out. I had to ask for some help and the first person that I asked was not friendly and acted like he was going out of his way to help. I was able to put some things together and make it work but usually Party City is a little better than what I shopped this time.

I can always find what I need here! They are bit pricey but I like that they offer a good variety of items. One downfall is buying balloons from them. If I buy the balloons from a package in the store or online they charge you to blow them up. Wal-Mart and Dollar Tree are way better for your balloons. Wal-Mart will blow them up cheaper and are usually closer to wherever you are. Otherwise they usually have the best variety of party items and themes.

I had a better experience today. In the past it so great with customer service but today I was impressed. My order was missing the string to hang a balloon sign so I brought my reciept in and showed sara what it was missing and she took the time to blow up the balloons and string the sign for me and was very sweet and personable. I hadnt been there for a long time bc of the past customer service experiences but now may come in more since it seems like they have changed a few employees. A lot of the balloons are overpriced and if you have balloons to just air up its cheaper to go to walmart but party city does have a bigger selection just more overpriced

Ive never had an experience like this. They refused to blow up some balloons I purchased there without charging me 99 cents. PER BALLOON!! I have never been charged this before. I will never go back. This is outrageous. Thanks for messing up my daughters birthday party.

What can I say about this place? It has most everything in the city for a Part hence the name sake. However the prices here are over priced on just about everything. Shop elsewhere for everything and come here for the loose ends I say.

The service and willingness of the staff has always been amazing ( I get some unique ideas), they always help find what I need and give me options/ opinions to help save some money. I would rate this business a 5 but on many of the items they carry the price is jacked up for the quality of many items. Better quality would be a huge plus in my opinion.

Party City is about the only way to find some really nice party goods in Springfield and Southern Missouri. Theyre a little on the pricey side but if youre want to buy stuff instead of creating it . Its the place to go.

Balloons were pre-ordered and set to be ready at 1pm. We showed up a little after 1pm and waited 20/25 minutes.

Store wasnt busy. More workers than quests and noone offered to help us. Almost everything is overpriced! They had a special, buy a pinata, get a bag of candy. We bought a pinata, they were out of candy and wouldnt sub any other candy and didnt offer a discount, raincheck or anything. Single pieces of candy in grab bins were hard like rocks..probably old. We will not be returning for business unless we are desperate. Very disappointing!!!

I call to see if they had a cat in a hat costume. They were very nice checks on the items I needed several time and gave me a price over the phone. I was able to go and just pick them up the next day. Thanks to the clerks for their help.
