Honestly these guys are absolutely wonderful. It’s hard to find a trustworthy mechanic around here nowadays in this area that won’t charge you an arm and leg. I’ve been taking my car here for 2 years and will always do so. Aasbys is friendly, knowledgeable, fast, and willing to go the extra mile for you! 10/10 would recommend to all my friends and family. My Subaru Foresters A/C was blowing hot all summer & Id taken it to 2 different reputable local repair shops, but neither fixed or even improved the issue after over a month in the shop. I was told to try Aasby by another repair shop. Dropped my car off at 9am, by 10:30 theyd found the issue, had it fixed and ready to go blowing ice cold air by noon and the bill not only reasonable, it was exactly what they quoted me. Friendly, honest and professional - I cant recommend them highly enough.

I took my truck in for a diagnostic the price was fair on it, however when it came time to do the repairs I was blown away by the price they were wanting to charge me to put a wire back in a plug. $350 and literally all the wire had to do was push back in the plug and it was right on top of the engine easy to get to. So I have mixed feelings about them. All I can say is good luck if you go to them.

Did not properly inspect vehicle and when called to get money back or ask any questions they lied and said that they couldn’t do that. The car literally won’t even turn on now and I never had this problem before. I wouldn’t waste your breath

My sons car (Rav-4 w/150k miles) had passenger side front-end damage and was making a terrible noise. Aasby explained they are not a body shop but would see what they could do. Days faster than promised and under their estimate, the car came back looking fantastic and running noise free. Immediately made an appointment for my truck the next week. Great family business!

They were a bit short with me and the price was steep for brakes and oil change 400$ they didnt even want to answer my questions or concerns when I dropped off the car they just treated me like a silly woman that needs to know nothing... and I had people refer me to them but after charging me crazy amount for oil change and brakes I just will never go back.

Where do I start I took my 2006 toyota prius in to have the ac compresser replaced and they messed up my car I took it in 4 times and they still didnt do it right I had to take time off of work because they couldnt get it right the first time I took it back the horn didnt even work and neither did the defroster I took it back a second time because they didnt put the car all the back together all the way the 3rd and 4th time the vents werent blowing right and even then they still didnt get it right the manager there was super rude and cussed me out when I told him that I was thinking about taking the car in to the dealership to have it looked at and the work redone they messed the car up even more because the engine revved up multiple times when it never used to do it before even just going down a slight hill at a low speed it did that they also blamed it on me saying that I mustve tampered with the car someway to make the vents not work properly I did not even touch the car I dont even have the knowledge of how to change out the ac compresser on the car and they told me that everything worked before they gave the car back to me that next day I told them there was no rush and to take their time working on it because I want a good job to be done the car I paid them 3200 to have the car done professionally and they had a new person in training work my car and the manager told me to take it easy on them because of the new guy working on the car all they got done was mess up my car real good I do not recommend anyone going to this place for anything I am turning the company in to the Better Business Bureau I would give them 0 stars if I could

I don’t think I’ve ever had such a positive relationship with my mechanic shop. First and foremost, the staff is the nicest I’ve ever dealt with. You can call them having a panic attack and they will tell you everything will be okay. And it is. After going to another mechanic shop for tires, they tried to swindle me out of thousands for something Aasby said my car didn’t need. They are truly angels and lifesavers. So long as I’m in springfield, no one else is allowed to touch mine or my partner’s car.

The office was clean and Social distancing and masks were worn. When I picked up my car, the tech walked me to my car, wiped down everything, even the door handle.This is a great Family-Owned and run business.

As a female, I have had excellent customer service, communication, and Ifeel very comfortable waiting in the waiting room. Aasby gives rides to my work when I ask and they now have the ability to text reminders and car repair updates. When my parents come from out of town they used Aasby and had an excellent experience, so the next year they planned on getting their oil changed while in town. I highly recommend the team at Aasby.

I needed a Missouri safety inspection and after literally 7 attempts at other auto shops to get this simple inspection (for reasons like we dont do that anymore, come back tomorrow or next week, and the best one we are out of safety inspection stickers), I found Aasby Automitive. They actually take reservations for the inspection (what a novel idea!! and I see that you can make the appointment request online) so that I didnt have to waste any more time with other Mickey Mouse auto shops. Inspection was done as scheduled; in and out in less than 30 minutes. Nice little waiting area and professional staff. I will take my vehicles to them in the future for my maintenance needs.

Great place great people great work

Well the people are very nice there. My car was in fact fixed for a whole 2 weeks before the same problems arrose. Not to mention when I came to pick up my vechile they had to take it back into the shop because I guess they didnt fix everything with the engine light. Took it to someone else who found the issues. They also took a look at everything they did to see my problem was and told me that they kinda screwed me on diagnosis and should of taken different steps on checking what my problem was.Got a nice and expensive oil change though I guess...

Aasbys was the 3rd mechanic I had taken my beloved Toyota sienna to and I was very hesitant to trust another shop. I was immediately impressed with Sarah and how well she explained the issues and listened to any questions and concerns I had. After everything I had been through I wasnt an easy customer to win over. I made sarah help me understand a lot and jump through a lot of hoops to win my trust. They didnt shy away from a tough case that 2 other mechanics had misdiagnosed and they were extremely understanding. As a mom of 4, my minivan being reliable is a necessity and they delivered! I enjoyed my experience with Aasby Automotive from the beginning. In early February 2018 my Rogue met a ditch at a high speed and as a result caused damage to my valance front bumper air shield (part name learned while searching for it online). Being skeptical of mechanics, I was hesitant to take it anywhere. Before I knew it, it was late July and it really needed to be fixed. Off of a friends referral, I gave them a call to schedule an oil change and to repair or replace the piece. Josh answered and was polite, professional, and accommodating. When I dropped off my car, not only was everyone polite, personally dressed, and the shop immaculate, but they were expecting me and provided me a ride to work. Josh opened the door for me and introduced me to Doug who made polite conversation during our drive. When the vehicle was ready, I found they were prompt and the price for the work more than reasonable. When I arrived, they remembered my name and even made semi-inside jokes based off of our brief mornings chat when I had dropped off the car. Im looking forward to returning for the remainder of the work next week! Im glad my friend recommended Aasby. I will gladly recommend them to anyone.

They gave me all the information I’d need to make decisions on what needed fixed and what didn’t, did the work thoroughly, shuttled me to my job, and even cleaned my car while they were at it! ( don’t think my car has ever been this clean) And the total was just under what they had estimated. Good people.

As always, such a great job. My old truck started vibrating but only between 35-40 mph. No big deal, it was very mild. About 2 months later it started vibrating between 30 and 40mph. I only drive it once or twice a week - dont pay much attention. Then one Saturday morning Im driving it and it just starts wildly vibrating, shaking, lurching - I let off and guided it to the middle turn lane and it sounds like the whole transmission fell out - metal on pavement and pieces ricocheting all over. Turns out the u-joints broke and the driveshaft fell out.I had it towed to Aasby. They opened on Monday, called me and we covered the plan. They called few hours later with a price. Had a new drive shaft (machined the old one), new U-joints, new bearings all in the next day for the same price as quoted. They made sure it looked nice too because they know Im restoring this old truck (although they havent seen much progress from me yet).This is one of a handful of times Ive been there - Im always pleased. They are very personable and friendly.

I am overly satisfied with service and customer care at Aasby! I had my vehicle at another shop to be checked out and they had a list of things wrong with it. I had originally called Aasby for quotes. I spoke with Josh and not only was he extremely professional, but cared about what may or may not be wrong with my vehicle. He did not quote me over the phone. What he did do, was take the time too squeeze me in to actually look at the vehicle. He showed and thoroughly explained everything to me. I have been using Aasby Automotive Service the last few times for my wifes 2000 Nissan Maxima. I found their pricing to be reasonable based on some cursory online research that I always do for costs of repair. The staff is super friendly. I usually work with Sarah, and sometimes, Josh. Both of them are very helpful and patient with me. My last service included an oil change, a transmission flush and steering service. When the car was returned to me, there was a remarkable improvement in the way it ran and we were really happy with it. Overall, I have never had a bad experience with them and I feel that their prices are fair. I would highly recommend them.

I sought out Aasby Automotive through a professional networking group that I am a member. I do not live in Springfield but my sons car needed repairs there. They treated us very fairly and were excellent at followup and customer service. The cost for repairs was thoroughly explained to me before the repair were made and was consistent with the market. The point of contact (Sarah?) was very friendly and helpful. I did not spend any time there but I did note that there customer waiting area was top notch and well appointed. Id go back when needed.

My experiences here at Aasby have been consistent; the employees are skillful, knowledgeable professionals who also treat you kindly and with respect. It is a genuine atmosphere, and its similar to Cheers (they know your name, but they dont serve beer). As a matter of fact, my only complaint is that they do not serve beer....but that is probably for the best.I know that you will have the same experience with this wonderful business run by even better people! Im writing this review for my mom. She had a few items replaced including a water pump. They treated her very well including giving her a ride home and picking her up when the work was complete. A few weeks later my mom had a small wreck with only some body damage but a few days after the wreck it started leaking water. I was going to fix it myself but suggested we take it back to Aasby since the weather was turning very cold. Mom dropped the car off and they gave hear a ride home including caring in grocerys since she went to the store just before dropping off the car - seriously, a very nice thing to do. Two days later Sara called mom and told her the car was ready and at no charge; the water pump they had installed was defective. Aasby had a perfect opportunity to take advantage of my mom but chose to do the right thing; there just isnt much of that these days especially in the world of service.I know this review is lengthy but I simply cant say enough about Aasby Automotive - theyre just very good people doing a very good job at what they do and for a fair price. Thank You to Sara, Doug and all the crew so very much for taking care of my mom and her vehicle - i appreciate everyone of you. I highly recommend this automotive service center to anyone!

I have been to Aasby Automotive on several occasions. The customer service is amazing! They go out of their way to help you any way they can. They are the only repair shop I have visited that takes the time to explain everything they looked at, what they found, and what needs to be addressed immediately. They dont just tell you part XYZ needs to be replaced. They explain what the part does, how much it costs to fix it, and possible issues/costs you may have if the issue isnt addressed. They are upfront, honest and reliable (plus, very friendly).

AC stopped working. I was able to get an appointment quickly and had great service as always. Great company and service. I would highly recommend them.

I like an environment where they greet me by name and have a system that keeps up with the maintenance details of our autos. They have always given sound advise for our vehicles needs.
