I have been using A Plus Auto repair for a while and I recommended highly. James is so nice and its not try to push stuff on to you that you dont need or want. He fixes what you came for and if he finds something else he tells you about it but he hasnt tried twist your arm to make you do it unless its an emergency.His shop is spotless and so is the office. His workers are fast and efficient they get the job done. Now that Ive found his place I wouldnt take my car anywhere else.

I brought my truck in cuz the ac was blowing thru the defrost. Every other place was going to charge me almost $100 to check it. It took the gentleman (didnt catch his name) all of 15 minutes to tell me what was wrong and he didnt charge me. He gave me a quote on Fri and I took it in Monday morning. Didnt take long at all and cost less than he would. They have a new customer for life with me and I will refer everyone to go there.

I dont recommend this shop. I took off work after making a appointment with the owners scheduled with me. They knew I would waiting on the vehicleOnly to be told he had a prior engagement. Actually the owner showed his lack of concern for the inconvenience.

I went in for a power steering fluid leak that and they not only found the issue quickly, their completion time was quicker than they anticipated and pricing was reasonable. I will definitely be taking my vehicles here for anything I cant fix myself.

James has always been fair and straight regarding any repairs. If you have an issue with your vehicle he will get you back on the road. Finding a good mechanic is a blessing.

James the owner is a righteous man. Very transparent and honest. Diagnosed and replaced my failed vapor canister and other needed maintenance work. The price is very fair. He will not try to upsell you...only what You need. I can see why A+ has the rating it has.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for finding this place! A couple weeks ago I was headed north for what was going to be a thousand plus mile drive. I had not made it very far when I started having car problems. Not knowing the area, I took my car to the first shop I found and when they told me the problem and quoted a price, I decided to look up other shops near by. When I called A Plus, I was quoted a price that was about $200 less than the shop I was at, so I headed over. James came outside and greeted me immediately. The issue with my car was a big deal and it took the better part of the day to fix. Though it was a very frustrating situation, James was extremely friendly and helpful and made the day a little less stressful, he even bought me lunch. As I sat in the waiting area, I watched him great every customer, several of whom he knew by name, and take the same care with each and every person that walked through the door. About a week later, James called to check on me to make sure that I had made it to my destination safely. It was so great to witness someone who genuinely cares about his customers and shows such exemplary customer service. I highly recommend A Plus Auto and I only wish that this shop was located in my home town because I would not go anywhere else. If ever I break down in or around Spring TX, Ill be sure to give them a call!!

I got my inspection done here. The guys are kind and its got a family-owned feel to it. Took it back for a check engine light. I spent hours there without any real idea what was wrong and the same problem came back not even a week later.

I take my classic vehicles here occasionally for fine tuning and minor repairs. I gave them a shot because they were local and a quick conversation with the owner upon arrival had me feeling good about the hands that were about to be all over my Stella. I just happened to pick this place based on its ratings on Google, and I am so glad I did! I’ve been meaning to post a good review for quite some time now. I brought in my beater car about four times to get it worked on, and every time I did, I got very friendly and personable service. This car was falling apart, but they did everything they could to keep it running. I definitely recommend. James remembers who you are and every time I go in there, we always have a great conversation. A very friendly, family-owned business that I definitely support.

The first time I walked into A Plus, I was able to speak to the owner and his wife in person. Every time since, they have remembered mine and my wifes name as soon as we walk in.We have 2 cars: a 2002 Mustang GT and a 2006 Chevy Cobalt. Both had issues. Now they run perfectly.The Cobalt had a fuel leak that was very noticeable while driving and had to be fixed soon. A Plus only charged us for a diagnostic test. When I was called back, they told me that the Cobalt had a recall on this particular problem and that the Chevy dealer could fix it for free. They could have charged me to fix it!Honest, reliable, friendly and have been in business for 20+ years. This is a real auto shop.

This is the friendliest and cleanest auto repair shop Ive ever visited. They did my inspection with no issues, were super friendly, and gave me absolutely no trouble. They even told me where to go to register my car.

I used to live in Spring, TX and been using them since 2005. I always had great service with them. I live in Coldspring, TX now and still bring my truck to them to be worked on. As long as they are open I will keep bringing my vehicle to them.

I wont be able to find enough words to say how impressed I was with this place. I went into this location today (8-27-2015) asking for help. My 74 year old handicap mothers car was having AC problems and I was trying to repair it myself for her. I needed to replace a Schrader Valve on her vehicles AC line and I found the part but could not locate the tool need to replace the valve. I stopped at this location and met with the manager and explained my situation. He didnt hesitate a second and immediately began looking through his tools in search of a tool. He located what I needed and loaned it to me. I replaced the valve and charged the system and her AC was blowing cold again. When I returned the tool I only had $5 on me and wanted to pay for using the tool but he refused to take it from me. I couldnt have done it without their help. I know they are not in the business of loaning tools but this just show what an honest and helpful business they conduct there. The place was spotless, including the garage area. I will recommend this place to all my family and friends that live in Houston. It is always so hard to find an auto repair shop these days that are trustworthy and help you. I can tell you that is exactly what you will find at this place. Thanks again for your help. I will never forget your help. Good job!

Vehicle was brought in for an A/C problem. They recommend other things besides fixing the problem. Still the A/C is not working. Because they never fixed the problem.

Great place to have your car worked on very honest

Told me I needed brakes n serpentine belt. Second and third opinions were that they both were fine. Now two yes later after recent check up I still do NOT need brakes or serpentine belt.
