Staff was great. Kayla was doing an awesome job being courteous and professional, getting things done, and helping out other staff. I was there for about 3 hours while my car was being worked on and all staff was super nice. Lobby was super clean, snacks were provided and fully stocked and I was checked on at least 3 times while I waited.

Our salesperson, Josh, made this experience exceptional. We had previously purchased a Mazda at Foothills but were not thrilled with how it went and were very reluctant to return -- until last week, I have even ignored the complimentary maintenance opportunities and was even considering flying to any other dealership to purchase this new Mazda. However, due to the vehicle inventory shortages, this was the only opportunitiesto see/drive the car I was interested in. Our experience this time was a complete 180°. Josh was friendly, authentically enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the vehicle. There was never any pressure to move forward. Josh made it all easy. Also, if he didnt have an answer to one of my many questions, he took the time to find out the answer instead of making something up... he even called me two days after the sale to follow up with one of my questions. I cannot express how happy we were with how buying this Mazda went thanks to Josh and we are looking forward to continuing our relationship with Foothills.

Went in looking for a new car to replace my Jeep Compass as it was getting old and needed something new to get better gas mileage and better horsepower. Messaged them about some inquiries on numbers for some of the vehicles they had in stock. Cassie was very transparent in everything I had questions about and was quick to solve or find solutions. When we arrived at Foothills Mazda, Ashton Charlton helped my husband and I pick the right vehicle for us. Would highly recommend working with Ashton as he went out of his way to answer all my questions and was very knowledgeable on the vehicles which was a huge plus! He also made sure we were getting the best deal on our purchase as well as my trade in on my Jeep. Ashton helped us get set up with our new Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve when we had finished signing which was super helpful as we have never had a Mazda before.Would highly recommend buying a vehicle from Foothills Mazda as they have a wonderful team there! Dave, the finance guy, made everything smooth sailing and signing everything so easy! Definitely would come here again for the future! On a plus side as well, bought my car a week and a half ago and just got my plates today, no waiting until last minute for my temp reg to expire to have to call. They are really on top of everything and there to serve wonderful services to their customers! Thanks Foothills Mazda for the wonderful experience!

AVOID A HEADACHE TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE.BTW they climbed inside the car to try to fix my trunk, they didnt fix it/even worse broke it.Its pointless to contact management! I was dealing with the manager after a couple weeks!Im not frustrated about waiting for parts. Waiting for shop to fix my car is frustrating. Also, putting wrong parts on the car and breaking parts instead of fixing and in the end not even bothering to clean up after themselves is enough to say that I will warn everyone that I can about this shop. Very disappointing to read your reply and blaming the frustration on waiting for the parts. It had nothing to do with waiting for part!!!!

Called Mazda to ask if our battery can be replaced (under warranty) because battery was dead COMPLETELY even has a bulge on it. They said yes come on in we’ll replace it we have it in stock! Went to this Mazda from Wenatchee on Saturday to replace a battery that was under warranty. Come to find out PARTS IS CLOSED ON SATURDAYS DUE TO COVID. Nobody ever told us about this. So we left our battery then we call Monday and they informed us we can come back sometime this week Monday-Friday and battery would be given then. Then we receive another call that the car has be taken to their dealership (first of all how?) then they say “well we can pick it up” so all the way in Wenatchee? “Oh no that is pretty far” then we receive another call that yes they CAN pick it up in Wenatchee because apparently they need the car to diagnose the battery. If you live in Wenatchee, please take your your concerns elsewhere where they don’t waste your time.

I came to this dealership to purchase a 2019 CPO Mazda 3 Hatchback AWD. I called in first and asked for a salesman that was a friend of a friend but he was not in that day, so I set an appointment with Tom Butterfield to test drive the car, and Tom was polite and confirmed that we were talking about the same car by stating the miles etc. I arrive at the dealer and Im greeted at the door by Paul Brown, very polite, very nice and found Tom Butterfield for me which was awesome! However, it goes a little downhill from here.Tom didnt even remember what car I came in to drive, he thought I was in for a CX-30, even though we were talking just last night about the Mazda 3. Not a huge deal, but not the best start. We go to the car, and the only question he asked me was Where do you work?. This is normal, but never did he ask me why I was even looking at the car, or what my goals were, or why I LOVED the new Mazda 3 hatchbacks (especially now that they have AWD!). Didnt build a whole lot of rapport here. He started going over the features, focusing on the cool factor I guess. He was very knowledgeable, but it left me feeling like he thought I was just a kid that wanted to drive a fun car, and that I was wasting his time. The test drive was nice and fun, did I mention that Mazda 3s are awesome? I did a lot of research before finally deciding on a 3 Hatch AWD, I knew what I wanted and had basically sold myself on it, but Tom didnt seem to take me very seriously or care that this was basically my dream daily. With the test drive over, I wanted to go over numbers, but he said they couldnt until they had pulled my credit, again this is normal but he did not suggest that I fill it out there. I would have liked to do it in person just to get an idea of what payments would look like (I was waiting for my dad to come back into town to cosign, so I wasnt going to buy that day), but he just told me to fill it out at home and turn it in. Again, I felt unprioritized. However, I noticed that right as I was leaving, he had another gentleman looking at the same car, so perhaps he had an appointment which was why we couldnt do the credit app at that time, but I still felt like I was pre-determined to not be the one to buy the car, almost like I was left out. Not a good feeling.I come back the next night with my father to purchase, but this time Ashton Charlton took over negotiating (Tom still assisted) since he was the original salesman I had requested to work with. Ashton was awesome, he got to know me and my dad, even stayed late to take my dad for a test drive and show him the car! Ashton has earned my future business and family business. I had worked and saved up for a car like this, but I also hate the idea of being in debt, so when price negotiating began, I asked for a discount which was denied, once more this is NORMAL (especially since they had already discounted the car from being on the lot too long), but Tom was VERY aggressive, and literally TOLD me to sign. He repeatedly told me that the car was certified, that I wont find another one, and that I should circle the option I want and sign. I was tempted not to sign just because of my treatment, however, I was there for the car, not for Tom. I bought the car after I had been a difficult customer (sorry Ashton), the financing was quick and easy, and Ray (the financing manager) was awesome. When we were done, Ashton had my car filled with gas AND washed. Ashton went above and beyond that day, its too bad Tom kind of soiled my experience a bit. Being a Mercedes-Benz car salesman myself, I would not have a job had I treated my customer the way Tom Butterfield did, let alone have a sale (which seemed to be his only priority).Sorry I made you guys stay late.- Alan Rose- Photos were taken at a separate location

I brought my Manual Mazda 6 in to have a recall on the E Brake taken care of. Ive had the car for two years longer than the recall and never had a doubt about the E brakes reliability until AFTER bringing it to Foothills Mazda. When I got my car back, I noticed the E Brake raising higher than before. My gut feeling was that something was off. So two days later, I go to the store and throw on my e brake as usual. When I got back to my car, it was up against the building. The E brake had failed and sent my car forward and into the wall- causing paint damage to my front bumper. I finally get the chance to take my car back to Foothills to explain how I felt uncomfortable with my E Brake since getting it back and told them what happened. Scott the manager proceeded to explain to me that my car had low brake pads and that was more likely the reason for my car rolling forward- and not the E Brake they adjusted. Ive never once had an issue with my brake pads before so I dont buy that reason. Never a problem till now. I will not be returning or recommending this location to anyone.

Not great. Not great at all. Took my daughter in as she is hoping to purchase her first car. The salesman, young but charismatic started great but when we sat down to start talking numbers, he was distracted. Even left information for another customer up on a screen - I know this because the manager and the customer and the salesperson all discussed it in front of all the other customers. My daughter is young and has not built credit yet. He said he was going to see what they could do and he’s call back. No call. A week later. No call. Now I understand if it’s a no. But, good customer service lends itself to great communication. We took our business elsewhere. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS! My Mom who is almost 80 went to Foothills Service for her 2013 Mazda3 that she bought there brand new in 2012. Since then she has acquired 15k miles. Yes thats correct 15k miles in almost 8 1/2 years. She had not been out of the house driving since Covid hit in Feb. A week ago she scheduled an apt for service saying she hadnt driven for a while and wanted them to look the car over. Since new she always took the car to the dealer even when service wasnt do. I know cars that dont get driven much still need service on some things. But this time when I asked her about her service apt I was shocked! Over $850 on a car with 15k miles. I wont list everything done but if it was recommended to her it was done with her consent because she said they wouldnt tell me something needed to be done if it didnt. Well I beg to differ on what was done to her car with 15k miles. A few things they could have done for around 250-300 maybe, but 850??? They performed and did thing that were absolutely NOT needed. But like I said Does it really need it?? Well we recommend it.. If any of you have ever been to a service center, they recommend the moon and back. The difference between one you can Trust and one you cant is where honest Service Techs come in play and wont take advantage of you if your male, female, elderly etc. The service Tech she had for the previous 8 years was honest and thats who I thought she was dealing with, but she said hes not there anymore. I complained to the Service Manager Scott today when I had knowledge of this unfortunate event. I will update if anything is offered or done to what I feel was someone taking advantage of an Elderly person. Hopefully this is a isolated incident. But if its not...Please be weary. This whole thing sickens me.

I brought my vehicle in for a recall. The first (yes...FIRST...of many) times I brought it in for the recall, Foothills had it for more than a month. When we called and asked what was taking so long, they said the recall was “much more complicated than they had anticipated.” When we finally got it back, after driving it home, we tried backing out of our driveway and the car wouldn’t go into gear. We had it towed back and got an accusatory “We really don’t think we did anything wrong, but we’ll check it out anyway.”Turns out the tech tangled the shift cable when they put the car back together from the recall. They fixed it ‘free of charge’ but never admitted they did anything wrong! Fast forward a couple weeks a couple dozen miles later, our car breaks down with warning lights and won’t move. We have it towed AGAIN (on our own dime each time, mind you). We again got the “We really don’t think we did anything wrong, but we’ll check anyway.”After they have our car for ANOTHER MONTH they finally called and said the recalled part was faulty and they replaced it. I asked them to deliver my car...especially after everything...and they said they were shorthanded. I noted they deliver Lincolns after service and the response? “I know, but we are shorthanded and your car isn’t a Lincoln” (The irony? We DO own a Lincoln, but this car was one of our other vehicles)By the way, I contacted Ford and they said the likelihood of the part actually failing is slim-to-none. Parts don’t usually just “fail” such as was described to us by Foothills.I could give another instance similar to this one we had prior, just not as egregious, but I think you get the point. I will never take my car back here for any service whatsoever, and won’t buy my next Lincoln here because of it.I literally will drive to the Seattle area to get my next Lincoln before I give Foothills any more money.

Its actually gotten a little better again, but staff at one point was rude and didnt follow-through on what they would say. After our warranty was up, I went to change oil and most the hardware for the protective plastic was missing. Mazda recommends changing the drain plug gasket every two oil changes and the plug had never been changed and was stripped out. This is on a new car thats been coming here since it was born. Probably wont be back unless there is a recall or something genuine that needs to occur. As stated though, service has been getting better. They offer snacks and media rooms while you wait. Careful venturing into the showroom as you wait for service, youll be test driving a vehicle out of your budget in no time. Sales people are a little intense, but nice.

The service person came to talk to me and basically just started trying to sell me services I did not need. He said my car needed a software update (which may be true) but he did little to explain why just stating that my car will start running badly. He then said I needed spark plugs based on mileage the car has 60k miles and Mazdas own service manual doesnt recommend that until 75k. He then said my brake fluid is extremely dirty which and needed a flush. However the brake fluid had just been changed 2 weeks prior. Basically be careful of this dealer because they will lie to your face in order to sell services you dont need! Also the guy never even went over the alignment which i admittedly forgot as well and had to call back to see what was done.

Moriah arranged shipment of the new car from Japan--it only took 3 weeks to arrive. I drove to Spokane in my trade-in which they had accepted via photos and test driving. Salesman Justin took over and spent a good amount of time showing me the ropes of the car (mostly the technology). I had some recall work done on my Mazda CX-7 which you would think would be pretty straight forward. However, got a call from my wife who was picking up the car and they had produced a 3 page list of things that needed to be repaired. A year later I had to repair the recall work they did and it turned out they didnt even use Mazda original parts. To top it off when my wife went to pick it up she waited for an hour and half while the vehicle sat in the shop nothing being done. I would probably stay away from Foothills Mazda.

Terrific store. Great experience buying our Mazda. Very nice sales people, great selection of cars, nice atmosphere, and an unbelievable deal. I never recommend car dealers, but I make an exception for this exceptional place.

Great experience here with purchasing a car. Sean was an amazing salesman who answered all our questions and was tolerant of our boisterous toddler. Very family friendly place. Highly recommend this dealer.

If you’re going in for service, make sure you put on a smile. We were sent several appointment confirmation emails saying our appointment was scheduled for 7:30am. When we arrived at 7:20, there were no employees onsite, and the lot was locked. We waited around until 8am, as their service dept hours are listed as 8am-4pm. Once they opened, we asked for an explanation. Our service rep responded by saying, “We open at 8. When you made the appointment, we told you 8.” We then explained that we reported the incident to Corporate, as we were sent reminder emails for 7:30. The service rep responding by saying, “Let me ask you a question if we’re going to work on your car. Are you going to absolutely destroy us on a survey? Because if so, we will not work on your car. You can have corporate call and talk to my service manager about it. NOT ME.” That’s definitely what someone would say if they’ve been absolutely destroyed on surveys before.Of course, this is separate from three other distinct incidences, all involving parts. All 3 appointments I’ve had where parts needed to be ordered were rescheduled BY THIS DEALERSHIP because the parts did not arrive, or were the incorrect parts. Mind you, parts are supposedly ordered by certified Mazda techs after looking at your car. No room for excuses there. You are better off taking your Mazda to Spokane Hyundai or Spokane Subaru, who also have certified mechanics that can service your vehicle.

Bought a new car through them as well as trade in my car. Experience was more than excellent. My sales person was Eagle, he was super personable and very easy going. Overall I was very satisfied especially with how they didn’t try to lowball me with my trade in like most other dealerships did. Thanks Eagle and Foothills Mazda!

Had vehicle towed to location for no start problem, paid for three hours of diagnosis conclusion was ECU. Had vehicle towed home rather than spending 3500.00 for ECU from Mazda. I figured out issue was connector on crank sensor which cost nothing. Total spent $ 676.00.

Took my car into the auto body shop. It took a week longer then expected. I was paying out of pocket for a rental and they could never give me a for sure answer on when my car would be done. They put the wrong lift gate on my car and were unorganized throughout this entire process. They didn’t care about my situation at all. They do not care about the customers. After two weeks of having my car, you think they could at least wash the car and put air in my tires. I would absolutely never recommend the body shop. They clearly don’t know what they’re doing.

Had my car serviced here about 1 year ago. Everything appeared well until I brought by car back for another oil change 6 months later. They called me while my vehicle was in service and asked me if I had done any work to my car and I said no. They then told me that the engine filter was missing and blamed me for the issue when it was clearly their technician that forgot this. No discount or apology for the issue. Tried to contact their service manager twice to discuss the issue and have not received any contact back. Overall pretty poor customer service. Unfortunate this is the only local Mazda service center.

All in all, not a bad place for service, but they certainly could improve. Tires were not rotated due to not being able to find the locking lug nut key. For one thing, the key was easily available in the glovebox. If anyone had called me, I could have told them that if they did not look for themselves. Additionally, the locking lug nuts are factory from Mazda, so it would seem logical that the Mazda dealership would have the key for themselves. This information was not told to me when I picked up the vehicle, I discovered it later when I read the invoice. In and of itself, this smaller issue could be overlooked, but this is the second time Ive had issues with this dealership and my wheels. At the last service, tires were rotated, but only 4 of 5 lug nuts were put on EACH wheel. Again, I did not discover this until I returned home and noticed. When I questioned the service department, they told me that the vehicle had come in with only 4 lug nuts on each wheel and that as it wasnt a safety issue they just left it. If it is true and one lug nut had come off of each wheel, which I find highly unlikely, why not tell me about it or just replace them rather than just sending it out like that?

Bought a used car here a couple years ago, and their service has always been great. The car has been going strong, and has only ever had one minor issue. They were nice, friendly, answered all of my questions with answers that seemed fair and honest, and were very accommodating. Since the purchase of my vehicle, they have continued to support me with service, regular maintenance, and provided shuttle services to and from my home.I would recommend checking them out and seeing if they have anything that fits your new/used car needs!

We just purchased our first Lincoln (and definitely not out last) at Foothills Mazda yesterday. Our sales representative, Sean Michels, was the perfect representative for us. He was patient, helpful, and did his best to ensure we left with the right vehicle for our family. They also had very welcoming facilities for our children including a kids lounge and snacks. I would highly recommend this dealership.

I just went on to look at the paint coorof a Lincoln. Russ asked if he could tell me about the car and as I knew all the features I let him explain them. He was so knowledge and able to explain how all the features worked I was truly impressed. I had been to BMW and Audio and they had no good way of explaining how the features worked or eve what some of them were. Russ has been great, kind, helpful and very knowledge.

This review is for the service department. They open at 7am, so its convenient to drop off your vehicle before work. A full pre-purchase vehicle inspection costs $70 out the door, which is cheaper than other places. The inspection was thoroughly done, so a great value. The employees were nice and did honest work.

I am very impressed with Foothills Automall. I found a vehicle I was interested in online, called Tim Smith, went in, test drove and was on the road in my new vehicle within about an hour. They were upfront and straight to the point. The car I test drove had a rattle in the door which we talked about during the test drive and Tim had it fixed before the deal was even done. I highly recommend them.

The parts department is awesome. Quick service and replies. Able to get obscure parts at a good price. When dealing with the service department it is a while different (worse) ball game. There is a 50/50 chance they do a full inspection or just check the boxes on the sheet. Some employees openly talk about other customers in front of people, be it in a good light or bad light.

I took my Mazda to the dealership service center when my usual mechanic wouldnt diagnosis an issue with my car that didnt throw a code. I have to hand it to Foothills Mazda, they are not the cheapest service shop but they were able to successfully fix my extremely annoying issue with my car with almost nothing to go off of, and found and repaired a couple of other issues as well. These guys are truly Mazda pros

This review is for those interested in out of state purchase. The car itself is amazing (CX5) but the focus is on the dealership. We live in a very small car market which has inflated prices, so have chosen to buy in other states in the past. I explained to Chris W our online rep who was honest about what they could and couldnt do, recognized our sincerity, and put in work orders for the customization we needed before paperwork was even signed. We arrived on a Saturday and worked with Jensen who was extremely nice and laid back, and just as we finished viewing our vehicle and the details the financials were ready with Ray. It was no pressure, friendly, informative, and fast. We were out of there just as quickly as my last vehicle which was a fully remote sale before I arrived. Should we look to Mazda for future cars this will be our dealer of choice. The three hour drive is well worth the no hassle good prices and great customer service.
