Especially Being a woman we face a few adversities when dealing with mechanics I NEVER HAVE THAT PROBLEM HERE! They are always fair and upfront! They have great prices and you never have to worry about the awful U-turn to have to get the fixing FIXED! I want to give a shout out to Zach (GM) for the speedy assistance this morning!!!! I had low tire pressure this morning and found a screw in my tire! I tried to get air at 3 different stores on the way to work but apparently everyone else in Spartanburg needed air in their tires, So I came on to the west side of town. As soon as I pulled up to the front of the building, Zach came out to ask what he could help me with. Plugged my tire and filled it with air in a matter of minutes!!!! This place is big mess. The staff is very rude and don’t explain the exact problem but suggest some maintenance. They will rush you in to things. They won’t follow business hours listed. They close the shop whenever they want.

Personally I love this business. You know I can tell these guys are professional. They take their time but they also try to get it done on time and I really appreciate the fact that they do this inspection thing to let me know if I have any problems that I may have missed. Now for all theses other reviews that are negative I can tell that they are upset but at the end of the day you gotta understand that they are just people. People are not perfect and we all make mistakes in our lives. Then the fact these guys are using their time by also vacuuming the car . I needed a tire plugged. I stopped at Firestone across from Westgate. After being ignored for 20 minutes (I was the only person in line as the three employees continued to answer phones), I was told it would be a two-hour wait and the employee recommended I take my business to Speedee Lube. I have to give five stars to Firestone for that referral. I pulled into Speedee Lube, an employee rushed out to ask how he could help me, he got my information and then he drove my car into a bay for the tire to be plugged. After a couple of minutes, another employee, Wayne, informed me the repair had been made and there was no charge. Now, that is service you dont see many places these days.

True and honest Business Best service! I had a bit of a tire emergency/alignment emergency while I was halfway through a 7 Hour Drive from Tennessee to Savannah Ga was getting extremely bad car wobbles and I thought it was because of a mis-alignment. everybody was closed or had a three hour wait was about four in the afternoon, thankful he we got a hold of Speedydees and they said they were open and able to take a car immediately (which was a miracle) The hard-working guys quickly found out that it was an issue with the tire. it had developed a blister that looked about ready to pop, A service member Austin and the manager Wade helped me out and changed out the tire And didn’t try to up charge me or deceive me on what was really going on. I asked him if we could just settle the costs which I thought was going to be about $100 but they said it was all good and I could not believe it!!! he just asked me to leave a great review, I was in a really tight spot and they helped me out tremendously I love that type of business style if I lived in Spartanburg area they would be my go to maintenance shop, thanks guys!

I took my wifes car in to get their 17-Point Oil Change. They seemed to do ok on the oil change. However the service as a whole was a bit of a rip off.The service all together with 5 qts of high millage costs around $70, which seemed high but all the other services they perform kind of justified it. In that service you receive a whole checklist of services and inspections they do for you. However, there were a few items on the list that they did not perform, and admitted so on the receipt.There were also services that the claimed to perform and they clearly didnt, such as washing the front and back window, and vacuuming the floors. They were obviously not cleaned.They claimed they cleared out the oil change light. But I know they didnt because in order to do so you need to use the controls on the radio, which at the time didnt have a fuse. Instead they just cleared out the fault codes from the computer. A couple days later the check oil light came back along with the check engine light (the check engine light was pre-existing)I KNOW they were dishonest about a few items on the list. Which makes me wonder about the rest of the services they dishonestly claimed to perform.I mean, I really just went in for an oil change. But they claimed to do more services, charged kind of a high price, and lied about services completed.Maybe they did a good job. But I cant be sure. I will be on the search for somewhere more trustworthy.

The guys Tyler and Wayne and staff are the best I’ve ever seen hands down. The service and professionalism and going above and beyond the call of duty was way beyond my expectations!!! Best crew ever and I’ve been around a long time from state to state! 10 star crew and service!!

Being someone who prefers to work on their own vehicle its been hard to find a shop that Im comfortable with letting them work on my ZJ, that being said Ive been bringing my vehicle to this location almost religiously for the past year or so now and have always been happy with the results. If youre like me and often dont have time to do your own repairs or upgrades and you want to use parts you purchased, I would definitely recommend coming here. Staff is always welcoming and will work with you for financing if you dont have the extra bank for the heavy repairs. Definitely will be returning.

Jason, Nigel and Liem were very helpful with my car. I came thinking that I needed a whole oil change and hundreds of other things fixed because my car was acting funky but turned out I just needed a little corrosion cleaned off the battery and they were able to do that in less then five mins. I will definitely be coming back again when it’s time for my next oil change. 10/10 in every category 😊!!!!

Called SpeeDee oil change today and talked to the general manager Nick. Was given a quote of 80 dollars to switch my tire sensor from my old wheels to my new tires and put them on. I arrived with my wheels and was told that it would be 200 dollars, that it’s normally and 400 dollar job and they were cutting me a deal. I let them know that Nick told me over the phone it’d be 80 so they told me to wait while they discuss it with Nick. 45 minutes later we were told Nick was busy and couldnt talk to us to explain the quote given. I was told he wasn’t coming out and I could either pay the 200 or leave. I was patient in waiting to speak with him but he stayed inside specifically to avoid talking to me. Overall terrible experience I would advise you take your business elsewhere unless you like bait and switch tactics and overselling.

Friendly staff but prices are a lot higher than most places for ok service,, I came to a location twice in a week to get some things done iam new to the area so I didnt really venture out to find other shops, ( in which I should of) the one thing I asked twice on the two trips I made there and the gentleman even wrote done before I even gave him my vehicle wasnt done

We moved to the States about 2 yrs ago from Ukraine and since then weve been living in Spartanburg, SC since then I did all my vehicle maintenance at Speedy and have to say that theyre the best. Always friendly, willing to help and to explain whatsoever and being very patient and I really appreciate it. It was 5/14/2021 (3-30pm) when my wife got to the place with our Toyota Camry. We had two brand new tires in the trunk and two brand new rear brake pads that we had to Install and make tire rotation which was for free as per coupons that we had. I did the front brake pads installation and I knew that its one hour of labor which is $120 or $125 per hour which is not cheap at all but Im happy with professionals doing it. This time my wife with our 3yrs daughter went there and she was told that the Total will be $305.00.My wife called me and told me the price. I was on the line with the mechanic for about 5-10 min (I dont have anything against him) and then about 20-25 min with the manager whose name I dont know and he was trying to explain something to me that didnt make sense and I wish I had that conversation recorded on my phone.$125.00 - rear brake pads installation (one hour).$180.00 - two tires installation (as per managers words).Also we had free tire rotation (we had a coupon with us for free tire rotation and thats what manager told me too that I have free tire rotation while I was on the line with him).I was arguing with him for a while while being on the phone with him and he was telling me that they gonna do tire balance because otherwise it will wear out faster and will vibrate as I didnt know whats tire balance is for and that its something you should do and its always included in the price. My wife doesnt speak perfect English (forgive me my love) and shes blond and I think that they wanted to take advantage of that and thats the reason why I talked to the mechanic first and then manager just to make sure that they understood my wife correctly. My wife was even trying to ask for a discount but this guy (manager) was very strict by saying that no, no discounts and he knew exactly what the money was for.- 2 rear brake pads installation (we had out brake pads) - $125.00. - 2 tires installation (we had our tires in the trunk) - $180.00 - tire rotation was for free as per coupon and as per words of manager. Total: $305.00 (before tax).The same day I went to Walmart and did my tires over there - about $12-13 per tire installation and the next day (5/15 Sat morning) and did my rear brake pads - $125.00 and asked lady in the front desk whats the price for one tire installation and she said - $30.00.Once again, I spent about 20-25 min on the phone with the manager and told all that needs to be done and that we have in the trunk of the car brake pads and tires and he said $305.00.I see that the owner of the place is reviewing all the customer reviews and answers on them and calls customers if its needed, which is good and I hope that hell mine one as well. Maybe this guy (manager) will tell you that it was a mistake and that the lady didnt speak English and so on but I talked to the guy and repeated all the stuff about 10 times to him.I decided to leave a 5 stars review because these guys did a lot of good work and a lot of help even for free but I would like the owner to review that case on 4/14/2021.

I came into town late Friday night for a relatives graduation, with a check engine oil light that popped up along the way. Little did I know, the oil pans drain plug was a little loose, with no real leakage though. It is definitely a cause for concern, when youre traveling on the interstate, in the dark, while your family is asleep.Got up early Saturday morning, only to find a local competitor shop was completely booked, so I gave SpeeDee a try. They took the time to give my wifes Mazda SUV a really great once-over inspection.For the first time, in a long time, I was pleasantly surprised at how genuinely nice all the staff were. I was shocked at how little they charged me for a Mobil One fully synthetic oil change, engine flush and tire rotation as well.As an added bonus, if you come by on a Saturday, theres a kind gentleman who stops by the shop to sell empanadas. They are the crispy-crust, Dominican-style empanadas, filled with beef or chicken. He even provides a great dipping sauce, on the side. It makes a Saturday morning trip to the shop a lot easier to digest, pun intended.To wrap up this long story, they knew I had come in from out-of-town and went out of their way to do just enough to make sure we made it home safely. No high-pressure sales tactics for expensive, extensive work that could certainly wait a little while longer. Thanks guys, for making this husband and father look like a road trip hero!

Whats really funny they just charge me 600 hundred dollars few weeks back to work on my engine. So much up selling. I just wanted am oil change. They tested a bunch of stuff I simply didnt ask them too test. Lady who checked me in was great. Everything after that was just a huge sales pitch. Maybe just give the client what they want and dont mess with the other parts of the car. In testing my battery they managed to blow away all of my GPS settings. This happened when they decided to test my battery.. I had 30 client addresses lost ... I wont be back.
