We are travelling through Spartanburg and the right rear exhaust on my Corvette broke loose. This business was very busy - and Joseph, at the counter was understanding and made a way to get my car fixed. Joseph gave me excellent customer service and my cars exhaust was fixed/repaired in just over an hour. We are totally satisfied and recommend this MIDAS to anyone who lives in the area or passing through. Thank you Joseph and to the MIDAS exhaust employee who fixed my car. Great job !!

Shout out to the Owner, David and his team! I called today because one of my employees had a kitten stuck underneath the hood of her car. I asked if they would be willing to help locate the kitten as we were not able to get to the kitten. David very willingly said to bring the car in ASAP and they will do what they can do to rescue the kitten. Within a few minutes, they located and safely removed the kitten. Thank you so much David and your crew for doing this. Your kindness and love for animals is so appreciated.

I have been coming here for years and after the last oil change in both my own and my husbands cars, the plug was not placed back securely for either car. As a result, oil leaks were present from both and dropped slowly all over the engine compartments and we believe we had a serious leak on our hands. We went back and they tightened the nuts and instead of being up front, they just told us that it might be some other issue that we should expect to budget to remove the engine for inspection. In reality, someone just needed to take a moment more to righted the nut and we would have avoided the whole issue. I have always been happy with the team but such a small oversight on something they do every day makes me wonder if there is new management or if something internally has changed that takes focus away from QOW. I might be willing to return though I am considering now, another place for my next oil change.

Edit: I like the guys, but theypromised me my car was going to be parked outside. I took an Uber to get there only to find my car locked up in the shop. .getting a new Uber to get back home.Friendly people. David the owner fixed some of the small things . They did not note down any of the small requests we made, which they said they were going to take care of. This was in preparation of my daughter taking the car to college. They only did what was on the quote they provided. what they did was done correct though, but during the quotation process and walk arround, I mentioned a specific brand for suspension insulator, that the cabin air filter needed to be replaced and was in the front seat. guess what? did not happen, even when Ryan said it would be taken care of.

My sister and I were driving from Georgia back home to Ohio when we got stranded on the side of the road due to our car overheating. David and the whole staff got us in hours before they said they would, and really kept us updated to get us back on the road home. They let us sleep in the lobby and did everything they could to make sure we could get back home. Best service we’ve ever received. Highly recommend.

Always do a great job

Had a low tire on a Monday morning trying to get out of town for a business trip. I pulled in and David and his crew hearing my plight got me right in! They found a big ol piece of metal in my right rear tire. Off it came, pulled the metal, patched it and back on my truck.David and crew were AMAZING! Great guys, clean shop.

Very happy with them. I do all my own mechanical work but there are some things that are above my level. Bought a project car, replaced the entire front end, needed an alignment. Brought the car in, explained to the staff the situation about the car, they were very understanding, some places won’t touch your car for liability issues but these folks were more than happy to help. They replaced an inner tie rod end I supplied, cleared the codes caused by the misalignment and car is driving straight and true. They have done exhaust work for me as well, it’s hard to find a place to trust with your vehicle, but sitting there and listening to them talk to other customers they really strive to build that trust and provide honest service.I will be bring my other cars here for work and HIGHLY Recommend them to anyone.

Have used this shop before. I will say this. They have a nationwide name but they operate as a small family business. I had a hub assembly replaced on a 2016 ram 1500. Luckily I have an extra warranty but even if I didnt I would still use them. All the staff were friendly and several other customes came in and they knew their name. Big name and small town atmosphere and prices. Fast too. Love these guys. David the owner is the nicest guy ive met in a long time. Go anywhere else and you likely be sorry.

Great quick service.

I brought my car to Midas, thinking I needed brake shoes replaced. Turned out to be the master cylinder and booster. But apparently, that upset something else somewhere in the food chain, and I ended up with a whole new set of brake problems. Throughout the whole process, Midas (particularly Dave, the store manager or owner) continued to help, and went so far as to cover the charges from the VW dealership to get the mystery part identified and replaced. I am impressed. This level of customer service is very hard to find. Thank you Dave, and Midas!

Horrible. They lied to me about changing my roters. I had to come out of my pockets yet again to finally have them repaired. Im very disappointed.

First, David is an exceptional manager over there and really cares for his customers - which is lacking in the industry nowadays. I showed him what I was noticing, he didn’t try to see me more and even replaced a light he noticed was out. Great place and they even offer a lifetime warranty on their brakes. Only negative was they chipped the paint off the rims when taking the lug nuts on and off. Other than that, I will be there anytime I need a brake service done!

Took a car down there, thought it was the alternator. Was prepared to spend $400. Turns out, the battery bracket was installed wrong. The battery terminal was touching metal as the car moved. They could have easily charged me more than necessary. Only $55 for a service charge. That is what I call honesty and being in business to keep customers, not to try to shake down every customer that comes through your door. Thank you Tom for the honesty. That goes a long way with me in this day and time...

I honestly cant say enough good about this place. Over the past few years they have taken great care of me and any vehicle I bring in. Ive been in for everything from a simple oil change to having brake lines replaced to complete power steering system replaced. Ive often feely leary about many other automotive shops Ive been to over the years but I have absolute confidence with the guys here. Ive only dealt with David (the manager), Tom and Shaun but all 3 are very honest, professional and fair. They make you feel comfortable from the time you walk in the door. Ive been there plenty of times when they were dealing with females. They never try to get over on then and are as honest with them as any male that comes in. They are treated with equal respect. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

My wife and I have been coming to this Midas for more than 5 years. Basically since the owner/operator David started operations. He has always been more than fair. Often times (like today), David did free diagnose of a problem without charge. He researched the problem for me and found a factory recall. David directed me on how to get it fixed.I asked about replacing my old tires with same. He offered a good deal and he also research and found a much less expensive brand. David searched for reviews and found these appeared to be a great quality, low price tire. So basically, David and his guys really care about helping the customer while also offering great prices.Take Care!Frank

I was literally at the gas pumps broken down-the guy (David I think-he was great) from Midas came over and jumped off my car-I went over & within minutes I was back on the road with a new battery. He even showed me the battery level print out. Saved me a lot that day-great service!!

I went in for a scheduled oil change. Service was okay, but they did take my car 25 minutes after my appointment time even though I arrived early.After getting home, I noticed that I was missing a metal valve stem cap on one of my tires which was sloppy on their part. I took it back in an hour later and they couldn’t find it.The lady at the front desk walked out to my car with a plastic one and was getting ready to put it on. I nicely asked if they had a metal one like I had lost. She said no, so I asked if they could credit my card so that I could replace the metal set. She apparently didn’t like that so she turned without acknowledging my question and walked back into the building with me following. She barely opened the door and intentionally snuck through the narrow gap instead of holding the door just to be rude.A nicer gentleman came over and did a refund of $5 to my card which I thought was fair and I watched the lady put the plastic valve stem below the counter. Apparently she thought it was good customer service to send me away without one just because I asked for a refund to replace a like-kind one like they had lost during my service. It’s been a long time since I have seen someone that rude... especially because I tried to be nice and friendly even though I was annoyed to have to drive back there for their mistake.If not for her rudeness, I would have left a positive review but she was awful. Also while waiting for my oil change, I heard her be snobby with a customer on the phone and she was annoyed at the computer behind the desk for most of my time there. This would be a great place if she wasn’t there.

Did a good job replacing the car battery with no wait and didnt try to talk us into unneeded work.

As a live-alone senior, Im always a little uncertain about trying a new repair center for my Camry. Especially since my 55 year old son (in Florida), who has been an auto mechanic since he was 17, urges me NOT to use chain stores for car service. I had a very good experience at this MIDAS. Its close to home. Staff did what was required. Spoke to me about the need soon for new tires. Current ones are 4 years old and showing dry for along the edges. Well, not to go through the entire visit. Staff were friendly. Explained what I needed to know. The waiting room is comfortable. There is a bathroom (important!)., LOL. I will be going back in four months.

The manager was very helpful in explaining several things concerning my car. She was able to get me in an hour before they closed for a new tire, and everyone was courteous and knowledgeable. I hate doing “car stuff,” but this visit was quick and painless, and I actually learned a lot! Big thanks to Midas, the manager, and the team for saving the day for me!

My car was smoking and the oil light came on while traveling from the beach. I stopped at the next exit at an Exxon gas station. He told me to go to Midas to have it checked out. Employees were very kind and professional. They looked at my car immediately and figured out the problem quickly. ( I was very appreciative considering they were very busy on a Saturday morning). What a great shop and all around great experience. Traveling from NC to Augusta GA then stopping over in Spartanburg to see family on my return home. Car was making some strange road noise. Decided to stop on a whim to see if they could take a quick look. Mechanics took it for a spin and then up on a lift, the guys jumped right on it. Unfortunately this was during some lousy weather and the problem couldnt be easily duplicated. Told me to bring it in tomorrow first thing, the roads should be dry and shouldnt be a problem to pinpoint my issue. Brought back first thing, Again they jumped right on it. Had the issue isolated within 20 minutes. They brought me back into the bay (which is never good). Told me what they believe the problem was showed me how they came to that conculsion and how they were going to fix it. Told me my options and helped me make an informed decision. At no time did they pull the typical UPSALE of any items. Shop could have blown smoke up my skirt, sold me 2 new tires and sent me on my way. THEY DIDNT. told me I would be able to make it home, take the tires back to place of purchase and try to get some money back and tires replaced. Could not have been happier with everyone that helped me out. If I lived in the area, this would me MY SHOP. Well done gentlemen, thank you for your honesty and assistance. Thank you!

It was not an up-sell, but common sense, saving me hundredsAll I can say is these guys are new shop for all my cars.The were less expensive by alot, set appointment, then delivered within hours.Service Manager Tommy & Manager David were great to deal with. Car wouldnt start and couldnt jump it so I had it towed to Midas, based purely on other favorable Google reviews. They got to the car that day, identified the problem (a faulty ground connection), and gave me a more than fair price. The entire team was very friendly over the phone and in person. Couldnt be happier with my experience and I will be returning.

I just bought a used car and driving to Maryland from Atlanta, when my car starts shaking violently, near Spartanburg SC, I went to Meineke nearby and they didn’t have time to look at it right away. Midas told me to come right over and they were troubleshooting almost immediately. They found my tire had a pop in it causing the car to shake and they replaced it quick enough for me to continue my drive as planned. Thank you Thank you!!
