This is a scammer. Shop location is fake, photos are fake, reviews are fake. Google William Wiggins and youll see what I mean. He owned a lot of repair shops, all with the same photos and the same people reviewing it 5 stars. Try to google the locations and there is nothing there. Just trust the negative reviews on this and dont use them. Beware if he tries to open another business under a new name.Edit: As expected he replied with some crazy fake story of he being target by mean people trying to jeopardize his business. Look closely and youll see he has a story for every complain in the reviews. Never made a mistake, never his fault. Just make yourself a favor and stay away from this.

Great place to get your car serviced and the owner goes above and beyond to make sure that his work is perfect and does not settle for less. Took a little longer than expected but I understand the delay was with my warranty company and payment,(Fidelity warranty junk)My warranty company originally denied my claim at another shop and was told it was going to cost me $3000.00 i called William explaining my situation he came picked up my car called warranty company and asked for a reinspetion and got them to approve the work i end up paying only my $100.00 deductible. will worth the wait thanks William for all your help and the free loaner

Gave them my car a few weeks back so that they could replace the transmission the send me 2 picture and not very good about response as well as they didn’t replace my transmission in my car I paid the $1900 to fix this problem and they won’t refund the money for no work completed in there shop I liked them at first but I brought my car to Nissan and they said that I need a new transmission on test as well as after they got done with the test drive the transmission went out during the test drive

When my car started leaking power stearing fluid, mechanics were telling me it was the pump or the rack and pinion. Before paying for this all to be replaced, a friend recommended me, to come to American Transmission. The guys thoroughly looked and found it was actually just the power steering reservoir, saving me headache and money. I truly appreciate a truthful mechanic. I entered the establishment fully expecting and willing to put a new transmission in my 2005 F-150. The owner said hey let me try something first. He felt like the valve was sticking. He poured in an additive into my transmission free of charge and said try this first. Looks like that may have done the trick. So far so good! American will be my transmission guy form now on! Our 2010 BMW shut off on hwy 85 we call American transmission and William answered the phone.we told him our situation.first thing he said are you guys in a safe location.exspecting along wait for the tow truck Mr Wiggins showed up in his personal car and picked us up. This is an unprofessional place i don’t know if it’s even a actual business never got a receipt for none of the “work” done on the car they won’t let me see the car and keep requesting money for new problems they keep finding. It has been several months and still no car. They are rude and only want money definitely never using them ever again.

I cannot thank William enough for his kindness and generosity to me and my family! My undercarriage fell half off and oil was leaking due to a poor oil change from another company yesterday. I pulled off 85 onto Lauren’s road and into his parking lot to look at what was going on. I had my two small little ones with me and William pulled in a few minutes later as some would say by chance but God definitely had perfect timing. William asked if I was ok and quickly assessed the situation and opened his doors (on a Sunday when they were closed) and brought me and my children inside the air conditioned and took our car around back and not only bolted the under carriage back up correctly but filled my car up with oil. I tried to offer money and he refused saying he never would want anyone to be stranded on the side of the road with their children and was just glad he was there at that time to be able to help. To say I’m thankful is a complete understatement! His kindness and generosity is not something we see everyday and I’m forever grateful for this! Thank you!

I pulled the overdrive unit on my dodge pickup to replace bushing and seal. After many attempts at reinstalling I knew I needed help. I contacted American transmission and explained my problem. The owner was very helpful and agreed to check out my problem. They were very professional and friendly and completed the install. The bill was very reasonable. If you need transmission help I would recommend that you look at American transmission.

Very honest, dealer told me my 2016 Nissan Sentra needed a new cvt transmission and my car was out of warranty the cost would be $6000.00I called American transmission, told them my situation.mr William said ok I can have a tow truck there to pick your car within the hour and said my guy will come get you now and take you home.one day later today Mr. William called me and said my car was ready, I asked what was wrong and how much was my bill. He said just pay your tow $50.00 and were good and stated my transmission computer module was bad and they had a used one in the shop. they put it in and reprogramed something now Im back riding. Only complaint I have is I had to call a few times to get threw which Mr. William explained charter phone service wasnt that great lol I would highly recommend them to EVERYONE

Is zero stars an option? Absolutely a horrible company. Smooth talkers is all they are. Took my g35 coupe here in February 2019. Had an entire new clutch kit put in after reading all the good reviews this place had. They recommended a stage 2 clutch for my car since it was a sports car and it would only be about $150 more than the oem clutch kit. Also had the valve cover seals replaced due to an oil leak. Took over a week which is whatever. Finally got it back. Clutch was going to the floor the next morning and couldn’t change gears hardly. Was barely able to drive it back to them. Had a leak in cyclinder line so it was losing clutch fluid. Fixed that. Took two days to get one line replaced. Got it back now and it’s april and my clutch is giving throw out bearing noise. They told me when I got the clutch installed I had a 12 month warranty on the parts and labor. Ok cool no problem. Call and call never get anyone on the phone. Finally decide to just go to the shop and it’s closed down for good. Extremely shady business tactics to still take in customers a month before you close down for good and tell them they have a warranty on their car parts and labor. I mean what kind of a person does that? Out over $1200 for the clutch if its bad or installed incorrectly and damaged and now have to find a new shop and pay to have it done all over again. If I could find the owner of this shop id expose him for the crook he is. If your shop was in a position that you may be closing down soon you should be telling your new and existing customers this information. Not accepting them in and telling them they have warranties on their car parts and charging them for work that cannot be fixed if it was done incorrectly. I’ve researched and tried to find any information on this company or investment group they were involved with and to no luck. If they ever reopen for business, which I hope they do so I can walk in there and tell them what I think of how they operate, stay away. Stay far away.

Took my 2002 Dodge Intrepid here after the transmission went out. I had called around to all the transmission shops in town for a quote and they were the cheapest. The service was good and they finished it in a timely manner. The transmission ended up having to be replaced with a rebuilt transmission and it ran well after that. Unfortunately 6 months later the engine broke a piston and I stopped driving it so I cant report how long the replaced transmission lasted. They had a LOT of religious things hanging on the walls... creeped me out a little.

Beware! My Daughters Mazda started roaming thru the gears while away from home at Clemson. I found American was close and the reviews good so she took it there. They changed the fluid and said it took them hours to find a bad Neutral safety switch. Charged me $784.49 and in a week the Aftermarket switch made it worse! After she came home I had a Local shop I do business with check it and they put an OEM switch in it and now over 2,000 miles of perfect service. Local shop charged me $150 total for an OEM switch and installation!
