They gave me a quote of $125 to replace my rear brakes, but after they got me there they wanted over $450 claiming that my rear drums could not be turned. When I pointed out that rear drums can be purchased for $25 each, the mechanic told me that he didnt set the prices. I took it to Claytons in Boiling Springs and got them done for $160 total.

Travelled 30 plus minutes to get there from my home only to be told that the shop was closed due to all employees quitting. Wasted my time, and my gas, for something that could’ve been handled by a quick text( which they used to confirm my appointment) or a call. Very upset and will definitely tell everyone I know how this was poorly handled.

They provided excellent customer, got the job done in a timely manner, and did a great job. Its a bit pricey but because they use high quality parts, labor was actually pretty cheap. Long lasting warranty on almost everything. I Would recommend and use again.

You can trust these guys. Went in because I had the ABS light coming on periodically. I figured it was time to replace the pads at least since Im 40k Miles on the original brakes. Roger and the team took apart my brakes, inspected them, and told me no work was needed and no charge. He explained that the sensor may have been knocked a little off somehow, and that I had some tiny grooves in the rotors that would cause some mild squealing, but it would not be worth it for me to get services at this point, as 80-90% of the padding was still there. They put me back together and sent me on my way. Its not normal that an auto repair facility tells you not to have work done, so they have earned my trust for sure and will be returning when its time to get some work done.

Great employees that aren’t the stereotypical mechanics. They actually care about their customers and not just money. Roger could of easily just not have told us about the over torqued and stripped lugs and just billed it but instead he brought us out to SHOW us what the last people that put tires on had done. Great service and even better people. Thank you guys so much for your work and hospitality.

They were able to discover a hole in one brake line and suggested the other line on my left front wheel also be replaced. That was due to age. I would recommend making an appointment for inspection and repairs.

Don’t bother making an appointment here. I had an appointment for 8:30 on a Saturday. I received a confirmation text from them at 7:15 that morning and confirmed my appointment. When I arrived, an employee told me that they were sorry but they were running behind and were short-staffed. They could not see me until at least later that day - even though I had an appointment. I drove on down the road and found a business that accommodated me - without an appointment.

Had a ruptured brake line emergency on a Saturday. They took the car in right away. Somehow found the needed brake line on a Saturday afternoon. Replaced it. Saved me a 1 1/2 hour tow!! All the guys were great. Manager kept me totally informed of progress. They also did a thorough brake inspection measuring everything with calipers and documenting all. Then plainly reviewed. They SUGGESTED new brakes. They did not push me in anyway. I agreed 100% with their conclusion. Do it now while on the rack and waiting for the brake line to be delivered. Better than a while new procedure in 10-15,000 miles.They are thorough. They even torque the lug nuts with a torque wrench. Never seen anyone do this even though that is how it should be done.Highly recommend these folks.

Great experience getting my brakes done here. Very fast work and professional. Got the inspection done then he told me a full run down about what would be needed and what the current quality was of my brakes/rotors. Let me know his recommendation but never pressured me into doing what I didn’t want. I will definitely be back! Great price too!!

Hotter inside than outside,waiting time 3-4 hours I had a appointment at 9 AM its now 12 pm and Im still waiting for my vehicle. They are just slow if you come dont have nothing to do for the day its just best you drop your car off. They have no ac fan theyre using make and aggrieving noise. Will not be coming back to this location at all. I know they can care less but I can to.

Brought my 2012 Corolla in thinking it needed all 4 wheels done (front discs and rear drums). They called after having alook and let me know that my back brakes were not adjusted correctly and had only worn down 30% so I did not need. They did the front brakes and adjusted and serviced the rear brakes. Other shops would have gone ahead and done the work as I told them that is what I needed. Seems like an honest and professional shop to me and I am happy with the work so far. I went ahead and brought my Sequoia to them the next day and they did a great job on it as well. No complaints and they are very professional.

Scheduled an appointment and confirmed appointment the day before. Showed up 10 minutes early and was told they have overbooked appointments and would have to wait an hour and half at least before my car could be checked out. Very unprofessional. You lost my business.

It was stifling hot inside the waiting area. They really need to get the AC fixed for waiting customers. From the start they try to upsell you. I had recently had my car serviced where they check the vehicle and tell you whats wrong. So, I knew I only needed rear brakes. They wanted me to get a full brake job, new rotors and all. I understand trying to make money, but dont try to swindle folks with unnecessary work. I will say they did get my brakes done very quickly and I was out the door within 30mins of my appointment time. Not sure if Ill return. I dont like shady businesses.

Not what I expected, thought a well known place like this that they would go above and beyond. I told them about things that were going on with my car, and they inspected it and said they found nothing wrong and I knew something was, just gave me a high price brake job and other things that still didnt make a difference, will not be back

I was told by the dealership that my rear brakes were bad. That didn’t sound right to me considering my vehicle only has about 30,000 miles on it. I brought it to Brakes 4 Less for a second opinion. They took my vehicle back immediately to inspect it which was awesome! Roger was completely honest with me and told me that my rear brakes were only 50 percent worn and that my front brakes looked great. Like I suspected, the dealership was just trying to get unnecessary money out of me. I really appreciate the honestly from Brakes 4 Less. I recommend this place. My appointment was @ 8:30. I arrived a few minutes before and they immediately got me in. Inspection was conducted and they carefully explained to me in detail (no BS) about the condition of my braking system. Then proceeded to go over some packages (pricing) with me. I chose the lifetime package. Trust me its worth it. The installation took roughly an hour and 30 mins. After leaving, my cars braking system was better, than when I first bought the car. I highly recommend this place.

I had my brakes changed on the 9th of March. Since then, I have been back 2 or 3 times for the squeaky sound my brakes were making. One morning, on the highway, I had to slam on my brakes and my car swived to the left almost hitting the vehicle in the left lane. Today is April 11, I am still having issues with my brakes. I no longer have confidence that my issue will be properly resolved with you. I went to another shop and is currently getting it worked on. They said only the front driver brakes were working and the right one did not work. That was the reason for the swive. It could have killed me and my family. I spent over 500 dollars, time and patience to have this issue resolved by Brakes4less. I would like a full refund for the subpar brake job and all my time wasted. With the stay at home order in place, every time I had to go back to fix the problem, I was putting myself and my family at risk.

If I could give it 1/8 of a star I would have. My daughter almost got kill after her brakes were done at this place for putting a defective part in. Very expensive too. All they did was to offer her was 10% discount for next time. We will not be going there ever again neither do I reccomend the place.

He took his time with me and was very thorough about what was going on with my car. Told me my car was in good hands and that I could go back to work and he would call me. I highly, highly recommend this brake shop. This is the third time Ive been to them. The first two times, over the last two years, they told me I didnt need brakes but to come back and get inspected again in several months. My front brakes were getting noisy, so I went by today for them to tell me what was going on. I finally needed brakes! Seriously I really trust these guys, and I got a great price for the job that they did.

Being in the service industry, its a breath of fresh air to know this is a company that provides options. Having the ability to choose between good, better and best assures me that these guys are only interested in getting my vehicle back on the road. Ben Flowers is the manager at this location and is an awesome guy! Not knowing exactly what the problem was with my car, he took the time to show me the worn areas on my brakes and explain the options for repair. But Ben and his employees went a step further and stayed after hours to repair my brakes so I would not have to wait 5 days (until the weekend) to have the work done. I feel good about the repairs, but the customer service is what makes me give them 5 stars!

Even though labor is included with basic packages and rotor turning, I was charged an additional $100 labor to slip a rotor on, no turning necessary. I was told the rotors for my truck were more expensive. Prices ranged from $32-$46 at all local parts houses. Less labor... More cost... Hmm..ll

They are great. They had me in and out in a short period of time. My 200k Mike vehicle was in need of service. I feel as though they were honest and I have been here before and have been pleased with their service. This is the place to go for sure if you need brake work.

All these 5 star reviews, I would be interested to know what they were charged for their brake service. Went in early one morning and another customer arrived shortly after I did. After inspecting my brakes, they wanted $580. Dont know what package thats on but its a whole lot more than any of the packages they have listed. After declining their deal of an offer and waiting for them to back my car out, I spoke to the other customer and he said they wanted 550 for his. For their base package, it wouldnt be worth my time to do it myself. For 580, it is well worth my time to do it myself. Cost me 170 and a bit under 3 hrs using hand tools and my cars jack.

These guys were great. They took care of everything that needed to be done to my truck. They explained things to me in a way that I knew exactly what was happening. Great place to visit. Ill be back for all my brake needs.

Quoted me $4,000 dollars to do replace the abs master and 4 wheel brake job. Brady’s just off of Asheville Hwy charged me $880. Complete rip off. I’m glad I went somewhere else that didn’t charge an arm and a leg. Not terrible customer service and the employees were nice and understanding that I wanted to get a second opinion so that’s the only reason I’m giving giving them one star, if it weren’t for the good customer service they would have gotten none. Always get a second opinion or service/repairs!!!

They tell u all u need to know and do a good job and are fast just watch out if u wanna save some money get ur own parts because they charge a lot more to use theirs.

Best to have an appointment on Wednesday. As others have noted, basic pad job is $159, premium pads and new hardware is $259. Given Wednesday are 15% off and I prefer the better pads I went with the better package. Staff was friendly and got in and out

I know the manager was honest. Advertising is a little iffy though by Brakes 4 Less. I end up paying about the same as most average brake places. I may update my stars in due time, Im going to definite test these breaks out.

I would give this store a -10 if I could. They fool you with their low prices that they advertise but it ends up being more. Then they do not repair your car correctly and you have to end up going elsewhere to get it fixed. If you think your going to call corporate to talk to anyone to get anything done you can forget it. They are rude and unprofessional. If you dont do your job correctly you pay the customer back. Not yell at them on the phone like a child. I will be getting my money back whether I have to go to the news or go over corporate. Theres always someone higher. And after looking through these reviews I see Im not the only one whos had these issues.

All staff was very nice explained everything and the fact I got to choose what I wanted to spend or on what package I wanted didnt make me feel pressured and even gave me the option on what could wait or if I wanted to do now as proventitive but would allow a life time warranty. I needed some brake work done asap and called one day and was able to drop my car off early the next morning Uber to work and back. My car was ready before lunch and the staff was quick to call me and thoroughly explain what I needed and the estimate. When picking up vehicle they went over everything again with me and I was given a full printout. They are reasonably priced and the employees were super nice!
