I was extremely impressed with one in particular named Kyle who was very helpful, patient, fast, friendly, and most of all efficient. I totally recommend this Discount Tire location.

We have used this Discount Tire for several years for a variety of things and always had a good experience UNTIL TODAY! My husband had a nail in his tire so he took the truck here to have it plugged (no big deal right?). Somehow in the process they managed to SCRATCH THE TIRE RIM ALL THE WAY AROUND and DEEP SCRATCHES TOO!! He didnt notice this until he got home and then went back to the store to see what could be done about it. They gave him a phone number in Greenville to call to arrange to get it fixed at their expense (ya think?!). So now he has to be INCONVENIENCED even more! This should have been such a SIMPLE fix but instead has turned into a major hassle! Not sure if it is lack of training, lack of supervision or flat-out lack of care about a customers property. We are so annoyed at this whole situation and EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the service for something so simple. Word of advice: Be sure to check your car for any damage before leaving after service and dont assume anyone knows what theyre actually doing. UGH!

I ordered my tires online. Got an ETA of about 3 days. They were there the very next day. Even though I had an appointment, they allowed me to come in as a walk in. They were pretty busy but I was gracious I didnt have to wait 3 days. 👍

There is a reason our family always uses Discount Tire! Landed here today after something punctured my tire (just replaced at Discount Tire 1.5 weeks ago after hitting a pothole). The wait was a bit long, but they were able to patch it & get me on my way. They really do have great prices, service, & even went out of their way 9 yrs ago to drive my husband to our baby shower when he had a flat & might not make it. Were lifers!

I have been dealing with discount tire for several years, several cars, I’ve always had a great experience. Not sure what happened but today I got a full set and the Spartanburg store staff let me drive off without checking the valve stems. Needles to say it can be dangerous driving with a tire that will fail. Luckily there was another near to my current location…

Decent experience, we bought 2 sets of tires and they put them on our 2 vehicles. One tire was flat when we got home the other ones light kept coming on. They didnt check the tires they were all the wrong pressure, causing the censor to go off. We were told it was normal, they are super busy and we will go back just seems weird this happened within a week of each other.

About five months ago I purchased $2000 worth of rims and tires. On the first day while getting them installed the rims got chipped right next to the Lugnuts. I was told I need to go to Greer and have them fix it. I told him I don’t have time for that, And felt they should take care of it. I looked at my watch and I had to go so I figured I’ll just take care of it later. I’ll let it go and just chalked it up as lousy customer care. I go back today for a rotation. This time all my rims have paint chips and dents around the Lugnuts. The manager whose name was Jimmy Smith practically shrugged his shoulders. I gave him a piece of my mind real hard. He told me to basically do the same thing go to Greer I have a guy repaired. I told him next time I come back and I will come back because I payed for that service. If there’s another chip on any of those rims they’re buying me a new set of rims. I told him make a notation in my file. I’ll see what happens next time.

Went to have a flat tire fixed. Turns out I needed a new set of tires. Prices seemed higher than other places. Was told service would be completed by 9:15. While car was in the shop, salesman comes up to me, and says they dont have the tires that he sold me, and had to downgrade my tires, and returning the difference. Then it took an extra 20 minutes to get the car finished.

Good price on tires . Only problem I had was that after getting new tires the next morning 2 of them were really low. The valve stems were not tight. Easy fix but ya know

Purchased tires online, and scheduled the installation ahead of time. The process ran like clockwork. The car went into the bay exactly at the scheduled time, and was completed before the time estimated to be out. With open doors, and wall to wall windows, you can watch the work being performed on your vehicle. The technicians that were working on my car were REALLY hustling, yet they did not take any shortcuts, and made sure that the work they did was of the highest quality.

I have always been a dealership girl but recently, my fiancé told me about discount tires so I decided to give them a shot. I have been extremely happy with my experience. The people have been awesome, the work done has been done well, and they have already honored the certificate on the tires yesterday even though I just got fresh tires put on 2 weeks ago. Just got a set of tires put on my car. The store was very busy but we didnt have to wait long as the crew was working really hard to get people taken care of. Have a bad experience give them a chance to make it right! Here is an example of an issue made right by great management!Last weekend I sent my daughter alone to Discount Tire to have a tire that was repair before there, but has continued to leak down. However a young man that was obvious new and lacked some experience told her the same tire that was fixed before only measured 3/32 tread depth therefore had to be replaced and she called me very upset because the cheapest tire was $130 and she had her insurance coming due and didn’t have that money to be spending right now, so I knew the tire was far better than that so I drove up there and had another person check the tire and said it was 6/32 and was ok to repair, but if was damaged in a way that was unrepairable they wouldn’t put the spare on due to the age of the spare, so be prepared to mount your own spare if tire can’t be fixed. But she left upset since they wouldn’t even check the previous patch. She figured she would have to go elsewhere to get tire repaired.However fate caught her the tire was low this weekend again and then she hit one of those construction steel plates in the road and and tire went totally flat. So I had to drive across town install her spare, then I called and spoke to the store manager and he said he would look at it personally and try to help, but unfortunately the steel plate she hit, however apparently cut the edge of the tire making it now unrepairable and since tire would no longer hold air was hard to determine if the air loss was due to a previous patch and maybe if the tire hadn’t been low on air the plate may not have cut a fully pressurized tire, but we will never know. However, He was great and understanding and was willing to help repair a long relationship of many tires purchased at Discount Tire. Happy to say my daughters car is fixed and we are very thankful we gave them a 2nd chance to keep a happy longtime customer we will be back.

So what’s the problem?A tire expert at a tire store where they do nothing but install tires/wheels ordered me the wrong size wheels. Do you see the irony here?I just don’t understand how this could even happen. Maybe it was lack of attention to detail? Either or, it’s costing me time. there are a lot of places to go in town and a lot of places will offer you excellent service. I value my time I expect when I’m paying a premium that my time will be accommodated to. So here we are… at a point where they have to now find another solution.They do not keep the wheels I want in stock, so they have to speak to the vendor. I now have to be without my truck for a few more days when this all should’ve been taken care of today. Actually, this should’ve never happened to begin with.I will give credit where credit is due, they said they would take care of it and they are actively trying. The problem is none of that helps a person who needs their vehicle for work. None of that helps me now. I needed the service done right the first time. If I wanted margin for error, I would’ve gone to a no name tire shop with no reputation. Instead I trusted that discount tire would get the job done.I’ll update this review as soon as I have a final outcome. Word of advice for any of the experts at the store. I truly appreciated the customer service I received on the phone from Wes and then met in the parking lot at the store by Tyrell to assist me with replacing my tires (ordered the wrong size). They were more than helpful and informative. Tyrell helped with giving me the best solution and best tires I could receive in store instead of waiting a few more days for the original tires to ship! Really great service and tires were placed on car within the estimated time of service completion. Thank you!

Purchased 4 new tires today. Spent about 850. Got home and noticed the chrome on my wheels had been scraped off around each of the four wheels where the wheel comes to the rubber tire. I took it back to discount tire and the manager, Jimmy, said it was a ford issue, there is a recall on their wheels. By the way, it was not like this at all when I dropped it off. Called Ford, they said there were no such wheel recalls. Jimmy said he would turn it into claims. Anyone want to get what claims will say or do.Today 3.19.20 they are installing new rims at no charge. Thanks to Stuart for helping to correct their mistake. Thanks.

When they say lifetime tire rotations come with the tires, what they actually mean is well tell your wife they cant rotate your evenly worn 5/32 tires because theyre worn beyond serviceability and youll have to do it yourself

You can walk in or make an appointment. If you know what kind of tires you want you can pick them out on line when you make your appointment. I suggest making your appointment a week ahead if you want a specific set of tires.

I have been buying tires here for years with no issues. Recently took my truck in on 1/12/21 for a rotation and balance. The next day I noticed that the tires on the left side werent rotated at all and the wheel weights fell off the left rear except for one ( pulled it off myself with my fingers). Took it back to have it fixed and was told there would be a 2hr wait. Made an appointment for the 14th (reluctantly) and after they finished I was told they stripped one of the lug nuts so they replaced it with a locking lug nut which now I have to use a special socket for that one lug nut. The nail in the coffin was one of my center caps came off somewhere between there and home.

I got a nail on my tire. I rushed to get there before they closed. They were so courteous and had my vehicle ready to go in no time! When I need tires again, I will give them another visit.

I just had tires put on my 2018 Chevy Silverado on 1/06/2021. The installers left all 4 tires and wheels covered, with varying degrees, of the tire paste, used to ease tire installation. The installers did not put the tire at the psi, air inflation, that my wife had ask them to apply. On Sunday 1/10/21 I added air to the each of the tires. I discovered that the installers had not relearned the tires to the proper truck positions. I have used Discount tire in 2 other states that I have lived and never experienced this type of incompetent service. I wonder how many other customers have tires in the wrong vehicle position and do not know it from this store.

I literally came in because my tire pressure was low and it continued to say low even after I put air in it. The staff came and checked my sensor for all the tires and ended up resetting my sensor and filling my tires with air at absolutely no charge. The staff person was very friendly and kind and he took time to help me even though they were very busy! Thanks, I really appreciate the help!!! ❤️

Here is why I give Discount Tire Dorman Center 1 Star. And why I wish I could give none. Also, if corporate sees this along with the call Im gonna make there, maybe I wont yelp this out. I desperately need a tire. I had ordered at a different company and they said they didnt have them so I called discount tire. They said they did have them and I had to make it before 5 it was 4:40. I had to get the money back from the Costco for my tires that they couldnt get so I could then get to discount tire. I called twice to discount tire to see if they would still be able to fit my car for 2 new tires they stated yes both times. And quoted me 260.00 which I would have gladly pd. I dont need to be driving except to get to where I can get the tires. And they money to pay for the said tires. I get to discount tire... the man comes out of the shop, and tells me he cant do it, that the tire is not bad. And tells me to leave. I leave, go to the Walmart next door in a desperate attempt to get a tire and they dont have them. On the way home the tire blew. The only place that could have helped me said it wasnt that bad and they were closing up shop. THANKS DISCOUNT TIRE, I HOPE NOBODY DEPENDS ON YOU TO DO YOUR JOB EVEN IF IT IS RIGHT AT 5 PM. SO THAT SHOP MANAGER ON THE DAY OF 1.16.21 IN DORMAN CENTER DISCOUNT TIRE. YOU LOST MONEY AND I JUST ABOUT LOST MY LIFE. HAVE A GREAT DAY YOU LAZY POS.

They understand customer service and how to make you feel important and well cared for. Derek was especially top-notch in the friendly and attentive service he gave me. He made the whole experience very pleasant, and the fact that hes been with the company for 12 years says a lot about Discount Tire and how they treat their employees.This is the place to go for your tires and rims. They know this business and do it very well, and they know how to treat their customers, which for me is where the rubber meets the road. 😉

I have been a customer for at least 5 years. I liked coming here because the service and warranty were great. Today, I came in to have them fix a hole on my passenger tire. The rep told me that I need to replace the tires in the front. I told them its under warranty but I was told it wont be covered because the wear is not even. I tried to justify that I cant control the wear from left to right. But that was not enough to use the warranty so I just have them fix the hole and I will just go to my local mechanic and buy the tires. I dont see the point of coming here and purchasing the extra certificate and warranty. This is probably my last visit here at discount tire and they just lost one good customer.

The shop was backed up today. We dropped my car off due to debris being stuck in the tire. We originally planned to pick up the car after the shop closed with a spare key. They parked the car inside for safety purposes and closed up. We drove through and didnt see our car but we saw who we assumed was the manager walking towards his car. We asked about the car and he immediately offered to reopen the bay to back the car out. This was offered, not asked of. To this guy, thank you so much for having a great attitude and work ethic. You need a raise man.

Had a flat. Stranded . Weighted 3 and 1/2 hours for them to put a new tire on. Plainly ask them not to put the jack on my body to put it on the frame. They put it on the body anyway and basically said that they were going to continue to put it on the body because it was a factory lift point for my Jack. well its got a straight metal piece that slides into my Jack that they keep bending along with caving in my body on the underside. This will be the last time I go to discount tire....

I was told Itd be 35 minutes, and should wait in my car. An hour later, no one had seen me, so I go inside to find out they had skipped me, was told Id be next. Waited another 20 minutes, and finally told them to forget it. Went to Guaranteed tire down the road and they had me in and out in 20 minutes for half the cost too. Avoid this place like the plague. Even the way you enter the parking lot sucks. Zero stars.
