Went there to get our vehicle appraised to possibly sell. Had an appointment, but still had to wait 30 minutes. This isnt a big deal except that the appraiser only took about 10 minutes with our vehicle and then offered significantly under low trade in value. I went home with the offer and verified it was really low. I reached out again to see if they were willing to increase their offer since they really wanted used vehicles. They were not. I went somewhere else and got 30% more. If youre looking to trade in your vehicle go somewhere else.

I traded in and bought a 2021 Toyota Camry SE at Heritage Toyota from Joe Agresti. His customer service, knowledge, friendliness and attention to detail made for a very pleasant experience. He is definitely rock star status at his job!

We (my husband and I) always turn to Heritage Toyota first when purchasing a vehicle. We also turn to the same sales person, Eleni. She knows what we expect from Toyota. And buying a car has been as easy as making an initial phone call. Plus, aside of excellent staff (both sales staff and finance person), our Toyota vehicles essentially never break down. Sure we occasionally have to replace exhaust and brakes and tires. But we never have any mechanical problems. Heritage Toyota, to us, means good price, excellent service, reliability through the lifetime of the vehicle.

This review is for the “rental/loaner car” department.My RAV4 was recalled and I had to drop it off for the entire day for service. I requested a loaner car and was told that they only do “rentals” and not loaner cars. When I dropped off my car i received the rental vehicle. We did the typical walk around the car and paperwork. I then drove the rental car home ( a 10 min drive.) I received a call at about 2pm that the car was ready early. I then drove therental car right back to the dealership. When I arrived back I was told I needed to pay for the gas because it was only “99 %” full !They literally charged my card $4.55 for a gallon of gas. If I had taken the courtesy shuttle to my home it would have been free. I should not not have been charged a dime due to a recall that was a inconvenience to me !

Although I didnt have a big budget, Charlie went above and beyond to find the right car for me and guided me through every step. I will recommend him to everyone! Better hire him an assistant!

Long story short, I spend about 3/4 of my day off at the dealership. I worked with Billy in sales and Travis in finance and they basically made a miracle happen and helped me leave that SAME night with a new (used) car! So thankful!Definitely recommend!!

I am not a fan of any dealership, for service anyways. I had an off-putting experience with a salesman here 10 yrs. Ago, and have decided to buy my Toyotas elsewhere. They do, however, have a lot of parts in stock for my tundra. I think their labor rate is exorbitant, along with the rest of the dealerships on shelburne rd. Good thing their are still small shops around to take care of most things. I only bring my truck here if absolutely necessary. Full confidence they have qualified mechanics though

It’s probably not the best time to be purchasing a new vehicle due to all the shortages. The model vehicle I wanted were being sold before arrival so I was put on a waitlist. No local Toyota dealerships had any in stock. Three weeks later they found the vehicle in upstate New York and did a dealer swap. The price and trade were fair with no price gouging.

Pre-ordered a new Rav4 Prime plug in and picked it up last week (love the car!). What a pleasure it was to work with Casey and the Heritage Toyota staff. In and out in around 4 hours (including a 45 min. test drive). Casey had the vehicle ready when we got there and everything was very professional and smooth. Got what I wanted for my trade-in with very little back and forth. Overall the dealership made the process easy with no stress or pressure. Would definitely come back - even though it is a 2.5 hour drive!

Never really cared for heritage Ford but we were looking for a third row SUV and went to look at one at heritage Toyota and fell in love with a highlander. Jimmy Ellis was very very helpful and not pushy at all. He was honest and knowledgeable being upfront with all of our questions and concerns. He listened to us and didn’t try to sell us as much as help us. I would highly recommend dealing with him. Toyota is lucky to have an energetic young salesman.

Ive had very unpleasant experience with Toyota Heritage service dept. I am person who always do maintenance on his own, but this time I was caught up with work and figured let Heritage Toyota take care of it, its simple task. I had misfire on cylinder 8 that caused check engine light on. My scan tool picked up code right away and I knew it needed new sparkplugs. 8 OEM sparkplugs purchased on Amazon or any local car parts store range between $65-$95, all depends on seller. It takes me 1/2h to do job myself, I figured these service boys can do even faster as they do it all day long. Turned out I was wrong. Aside from charging cca $180 for sparkplugs (that they get for even cheaper then what I would pay at car parts store as it is wholesale price for them), tech called me and said he took an hour to diagnose issue where misfire comes from (for the record, I played dummy like I didnt know) plus extra 3/4h to install new sparkplugs and re-test it to make sure code doesnt come back. Total bill I ended paying with all service fees, parts and labor was cca $415. Any local credible car shop would do same repair in max $200 range, if you do on its own, it would cost you less then $100. It is sad to say, but Toyota Heritage is taking advantage of many many car owners who dont know anything about cars and charge them enormous amount of money for something that would normally cost twice less elsewhere. This is very candid opinion of someone who has masters in mechanical engineering.Message to the owner of this business: Kichiro Toyoda started Toyota Corp in 40s by making high quality vehicles at affordable prices for mass population. Your company is degrading that reputation by making Toyota vehicles expensive to maintain, like any other car manufacturer, which they are not!

I had a wonderful experience at Heritage Toyota, Mrs. Eleni at the Sales and Leasing is a very pleasant person, when I came in with an immediate need for a good City vehicle she acted promptly to place me in a nice vehicle and did so wonderfully, I definitely will do business with her in the future as the need comes!

I’ve been a customer of Heritage Toyota since 2013, where I’ve dealt exclusively with Eleni Floyd as my salesperson. In the span of 8 years, I’ve leased 2 Corollas (2013 & 2017) for my wife, a 2015 Tacoma for myself, purchased a used 2013 RAV4 in 2018 for my wife, a 2018 Tundra for myself, and today (04/24/2021), I traded in my 2018 Tundra for brand new Tundra SR5 (left the lot with only 5 miles on it) and I couldn’t be happier. Eleni and the entire Heritage team are very professional and offer no-pressure sales tactics. They work with you trying to get you the best deal, and they’re not happy until you’re happy 😁. My daughter gets her license in July 2022, and I will work with Eleni in purchasing my daughters first car.

I recently got my hybrid battery in my Prius looked at, and while the service department was able to fix the issue earlier than my scheduled appointment day, I was hugely disappointed in the state of my car when I picked it up. There were dirty bootprints left on the seat, my glovebox had been rifled through, the maintenance compartment in my trunk was left open, a bottle of hand sanitizer had been left open and leaked all over my passenger seat, and a dirty hubcap was just left in my backseat. On top of that, both when I had the car towed there and when I went to pick it up, the person I spoke to had a difficult time locating both the paperwork for my car and the car itself. Overall, Im very disappointed, and I will not be returning.

The employees were nice, but the service was awful. I was charged more after the work than I was told beforehand, they left my tires with low pressure, warning lights were left on in my dashboard and it took an hour longer than they told me when I arrived. No need to ever return.

I asked for a custom alignment and the tech was willing to give me as close to -2 degrees of camber and slight toe out in the front as I asked; rather than treating me as if I had no idea what I was requesting. Will be going back once Ive fitted my car with other alignment upsetting modifications for autocross.

Expensive and inhospitable service.I asked for my drive shaft to be greased -- was charged 65 dollars for this.Greasing those is less than 10 minute job, which means labor rate for that job must be $390 per hour. Obvious money grab.The service advisor was curt and had no clue what fluid film was when asked if they offer winter applications... in Vermont of all places. Unknowledgable staff.Expensive daily rental -- I called ahead to ask about service rentals and was told there would be one available. I was charged $89 for a daily rental, which I returned less than 6 hours later after ~30 miles. This is approx 3x the standard rate for a daily rental. If you are in need of a car, schedule a pickup ahead from enterprise, this service department will take advantage of you and your wallet.dealership == stealership

I recently had a recall fixed on my car as well as two new keys made. The process for dropping my car off and getting a rental was very straight forward and quick. When I was called to say my car was done I was told I needed to pay over the phone as they would be closed by the time I was able to drop off the rental and pick up my car. He then told me the total and I was shocked as I had asked how much the keys were going to be. They told me how much the keys were but didnt tell me that they charge an hours worth of labor to make the keys. When I alerted them that this fee was never brought to my attention they waived the labor fee. Great customer service and easy to deal with, just make sure you know all the costs up front. :)

I just had the easiest and most comfortable car buying experience at Heritage Toyota. Dan Pasco was patient with all my questions, made recommendations based on my driving needs, and moved the process along so I could drive home that day in my new car!

I was told it would be an hour and a half which was the exact amount of time it took to service my car. Brandi recognized me immediately upon driving in. She was warm, gracious, informative, and efficient. I went for a walk during the service. Brandi texted me to be sure she could contact me with any questions or concerns. She called me just as I was returning to the Service Center. She explained the bill and asked if I wanted to set up my appointment for putting on winter tires. The appointment was made, and I left. Showed up for an inspection-that got me scheduled for the very next day which was a huge surprise! They got me right in and real quick to come out and let me know that everything was done except I failed for a very basic electrical issue. I had some customized wiring which they allowed me to correct and then they quickly and very efficiently re-inspected my vehicle and sent me on my way, no additional charge! This is as good as it gets. Heritage sets the bar!!

Dear fellow automotive consumers,On April 12, 2021, I was assisting my sister in her potential vehicle purchase. We decided to stop by Heritage Toyota located at 1620 Shelburne Rd, South Burlington, VT, 05403. Upon arrival, we had specifically expressed our sole intention of test driving a 4runner. We never once stated that we are purchasing a vehicle today, only to test drive. A sales representative by the name of Daniel Pasco, did his usual sales pitch and asked if we were considering a trade-in. My sister said that since we are here, let us get an appraisal for her Nissan Altima.Mr. Pasco (who periodically kept pulling his mask down, well past his nostrils – a blatant disobedience to Governor Scott’s COVID-19 mask mandate and disregard to the customers’ safety and well-being) asked to see my sister’s driver’s license. Mr. Pasco whipped out his personal phone and snapped a photo of my sister’s license. I immediately inquired about it. Mr. Pasco stated that he did indeed take a photo with his personal phone but tells me that it was uploaded to their data recording software only. This did not sit well with me because there are absolutely no safeguard measures in place, should a security breach occur in the future on Mr. Pasco’s personal phone. He claims that it is not. However, I must ask, “what proof can Mr. Pasco or Heritage Toyota, unequivocally provide to us?” This is a stressful memory that we will forever, haunt us for the rest of our lives.Mr. Pasco also asked, “Do you know who the auto loan was from?” I had replied, “Wells Fargo, sir” and nothing else. Upon returning from the test drive, Mr. Pasco presented us with a printout documentation (which I have in my possession still as proof) that contained all of my sister’s personal information as well as her financial information on the Nissan Altima such as: duration of the auto loan, monthly payments, remaining payoff balance, date of loan, payments received up to now, etc. Mr. Pasco claimed that he used a website called, “RouteOne” which works with many banks. Mr. Pasco simply inputted the VIN from the Altima and was able to pull my sister’s entire auto loan information including her personal information. My sister has never purchased a vehicle from Heritage Toyota ever before. She has never explicitly given both verbal and/or written permission for him to pull her financial records.The Altima was purchased from Freedom Nissan. Heritage Toyota has no formal nor legal rights to access such private information. This was all done behind our backs as we were test driving the 4runner. I stated to Mr. Pasco, “Sir, you went behind our backs without our permission nor knowledge. Shouldn’t you be able to offer us a fair market value price for our trade-in without illegally searching up the information behind our backs.” Mr. Pasco’s response was, “oh, uh, ummm, like yeah, we can but we need to know how much you still owe on the vehicle.” The vehicles worth is completely independent of how much it still owed. As a reminder, we clearly stated to Mr. Pasco that we only want to test drive the 4runner, no sale today. Immediately, we terminated the interaction and politely asked to take our keys and leave.Fellow consumers, a random third party (Heritage Toyota) was able to access private and personal information from whom they had no pre-existing relationship with. The actions of Heritage Toyota were unprofessional/unsafe (disobedience to COVID-19 mask mandate), irresponsible (allowing employees to capture customers’ driver’s license using their personal phones), profit-oriented (presented us with a payoff quote upon returning from test drive when we clearly stated we only want to test drive), and despicable (went behind our backs to obtain personal and private financial information). If there were a way to lose consumer trust and confidence just like that, Heritage Toyota is the leader in the industry. We walked away feeling as if our rights and privacies were violated, as if they were non-existent.All the best,Chaz

I got winter tires put on and look less than two hours. Friendly staff. All social distancing requirements were met. Comfortable and spacious waiting areas. Taylor was my service advisor. Five stars to Taylor.

Sorry - these people responded appropriately to a mistake that I made. I have not ever bought a car from them but they seem like decent people and corresponded with me in a reasonable and straightforward fashion. There was a mixup on the review. Same name different location.

Jason Dillon was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the Toyota lineup, listened to what our goals were for the purchase, and worked with us to find the exact car we were looking for. We will be back for our next purchase when the time comes!

Jimmy was awesome!! I usually don’t like salesman because they’re out for their commission, not your best interests.. but he was not like that AT ALL. Super personable, laid back, and very helpful. Our whole experience with everyone there was really great.
