I ordered a Henry shotgun at Adventure Outdoors. It was delayed due to all of the issues with gun supplies and COVID for four months. However it recently arrived as promised and I picked it up today. The staff was quite busy this mourning but were very helpful and friendly. I was quite satisfied with the service! Great job!!

I came and purchased a new Glock 45 MOS with a new holster, range and self defense ammo. Ben was great as this was my first time to purchase a new Glock or gun of any type. His knowledge of the gun was extensive and his delivery was smooth. The paperwork process was pure simplicity. I will definitely be back to take some beginner courses and to practice with my new gun. It was my first time going into a gun store. I initially went to see what options there were for me. Both gentlemen I spoke with were knowledgeable and VERY patient. Although the pandemic has slowed things down, they were spot on and quick with the sale. I’ve been a customer of there’s for over 20 years now, still have the same service, very good.

I got the impression that they didn’t want my money when placing an order for a long gun. I’ve researched the gun & manufacturers lead times for months so I was well aware of how long it was going to take. If I didn’t have my heart set on getting this gun then I would have walked away. The most helpful people were the manager who helped me when picking it up and the cashier who checked me out when paying the remaining balance. FYI……the gun arrived exactly 12 weeks after placing the order which is what Alexander Arms stated on their website.

I’ve bought every gun I own from here. It’s better than it was. But if there was a cheaper option I would shop there. But their prices can’t be beat. It’s a big place and loads of fun. I am so impressed with this place. From entering the door to our check-out of our purchases. My husband and I were looking for a place to purchase 2 guns. I read reviews for places much closer to where we live in the city but none had such positive reviews when it came to quality of customer service than Adventure Outdoors. I am a customer service manager in a much different industry so we decided to go to there.The level of help, advice and service we received was outstanding, beginning to end!We will be going back to use their range and become money members.I highly recommend them if you are looking to buy a gun. You will not be disappointed and if you live in the city, it’s worth the drive.

Ive been in a few dozen gun stores over the years and this is one of the best in the Southeast.The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. The selection... If you can find a gun store in Georgia with a larger selection of New/Used guns, accessories, outdoor/hunting equipment, and as of the date of this review ammo selection, I would truly like to go see it!The only thing I thought about docking the stars to 4 for was the shortage of staff but that would be unfair. There is a major worker shortage right now and its not Adventure Outdoors fault. I would say give the poor guy working by himself at checkout a break, he was clearly out of it.If you are in the market for a new gun, ammo, accessories, or outdoor equipment go check Adventure Outdoors out! Just dont get mad with the staff for taking a while, they need help and its not their fault.

Saturday was my first time visiting Adventure Outdoors and it was my intention to purchase a hand gun. The customer service was A+, everyone was helpful and friendly. I did leave packing those twin brothers; Smith and Wesson. I am very pleased with my purchase and the icing on the cake was they were running a sale. So, I also left with free ammo, plus a free Smith and Wesson hat and T-shirt. I do plan on going to their gun range for target practice.

We purchased a pair of First Tactical V2 pants for my husband this past Monday. We were thrilled to find what appeared to be such a great pair of pants in his size (32x34).We washed the pants once (in cold water per washing instructions) and line dried them. We live on a farm and don’t even own a dryer. The pants have shrunk in the legs significantly. The legs now sit at his ankles. They’re a laughable length and completely unwearable.When we contacted Adventure Outdoor to explain the situation an inquire about their return policy, the assistant store manager responding stating that they will not allow us to return the pants given weve washed them.Needless to say we will not shop or recommend shopping at Adventure Outdoor in the future. Stand by the products you sell or don’t sell them. Stay away from here if you’re looking for a company that treats their customers well.

All was great with one minor exception. During the initial purchase phase, the sales associate left me hanging without explanation. Saw him at a different location chatting up a police officer. Wouldn’t have bothered me in the least bit, but he just walked away without saying anything.

The specialist that assisted me in the purchasing and paperwork made it quick and easy to find the perfect firearm for me.

This is a great store, but you should realize that it is a gun store, and probably the best one in the southeast. But if you are looking for fishing gear, or camping gear, this isnt the place.

Prices are decent. Selection is nice. But the membership in my opinion is a rip off. Only after signing up and realizing after a couple trips it wasnt worth it, did i learn that they force you to drive to their location on the last five days of the month to cancel membership. They dont pay mileage or the time to drive from Paulding county... they just laugh.For $25 a month ($300/yr) ... just invest in a real gun range insteadPay close attention to how they defend themselves in these reviews.

I did something I’ve been thinking about doing for a minute and with the help of my daughter as a birthday gift, we experienced a day at the gun shop. We were assisted by two very pleasant guys and had a great experience. They were both very helpful, but most of all, very pleasant. They made the experience very easy and answered all our questions making us feel quite comfortable. Interested in purchasing a gun, this is the place to go. I have never had a bad experience at Adventure Outdoors. They seem to always have everything. The only thing I don’t like is they require a “runner” to take your firearm to the front registers. If they are busy it can take a minute to get a runner. Then the checkout seems slow as the checkout person looks over the 4473. I understand why they do this and in a way I guess they have to, to protect themselves. It just seems like the process could be streamlined somehow. Then a manager has to come finalize the purchase.

It was my first time there and the guy was so rude, bland, and disinterested in helping me. He almost seemed annoyed to assist me. I wanted to leave but unfortunately I was with a group of friends. I will not be returning.

There was a great selection of firearms and a huge amount other outdoor gear. In fact I was surprised at all they had in the store. Hugh Jeffrey was a tremendous help when it came to my purchase. My son recommended this place and he was spot on. I will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect but until I count the ammo when I was bored. There are 149 ammos, one ammo short!!!! I spend 20mins to count them so many times!!! I hope I was wrong but there were 149 ammos!!😅😅😅 Anyway I still give 5 star only because I am so lucky !!!!! The folks at adventure outdoors were extremely helpful and patient. I arrived at 10am and didnt make my final purchase until 12pm because I couldnt stop asking questions, getting their input, and weighing my options. Not a single time did they rush me or brush me off. They answered every single one of my questions simply but in great detail.Adventure outdoors also has the largest selection of both firearms and ammo that Ive seen in about a year and a half.You can tell that these people love what they do.

This place is HUGE! theres so many guns and accessories, it would be hard to find a item they do NOT have in stock. theres plenty of clothing items to choose from as well. Also, the gun range has plenty of guns to rent, if you want to try before you buy. The gun salesmen are very knowledgeable and were very kind to my wife as she asked questions about pistols suited for her.

Once my special order came, the final processing at the special order desk was fantastic.

Fantastic experience- EVERY one behind the counter is so well versed in every firearm. They KNOW their stuff! And they ask specific relevant questions to zero in on a customer’s best “fit”, then offer great advice coupled with vast knowledge of manufacturers’ issues/quirks/advantages /disadvantages, etc. And the rest of the store itself is a phenomenon . Everything you could possibly want, and more!

Called into the store to see if they had a specific item and the clerk said they did and that he was looking at it. I then drove an hour to the store to pick it up and the same clerk said yeah we actually dont have that one, but we have this one thats close. If you want we can go ahead and start the paperwork. Trying to sell it to me anyways. Did not appreciate the bait and switch tactic after driving an hour there and an hour back. Just say you dont have it next time.

I imagine trying to get paroled from prison is easier than ending a range contract here. Seriously, they make it difficult. There are better run ranges in Metro Atlanta than this place.Read the fine print.They think they own you.

The customer service counter was incredibly helpful. I had two people help me at the shotgun counter. The first was friendly but wasn’t really trying to show me various options, while the second was able to see through my inexperience as a gun owner and address my needs perfectly

Very disappointed and thought I would never in my life think they would sink this low. I have bought thousands of dollars on guns, ammo, gun safes, and accessories. Went in there today and the prices on their ammunition is outrageous. Also they were selling a pencil box that you can get from the dollar tree for $5.99 in the used gun boxes/rifle bags section up front (picture posted of pencil box). I will not spend another dime in this store.

The people at Adventure Outdoors are always professional and courteous. They are always eager to help and willing to answer all my questions. There prices are compatible and they have a large amount of quality products.

Like everybody else in the country they are short handed and struggling with supply chain problems. So the checkout process when you pick your firearm is extremely long and tedious. But everybody there has the best attitude and just kept smiling through the pain and frustration. They’re getting pallets of ammo weekly so your odds of finding what you need are better here than anywhere else in metro Atlanta. Knowledgeable sales people eager to help when they can finally get to you. If you need a lot of sales help behind the gun counters Saturday is best avoided. If you show up with some patience and consideration for their predicament you will have a delightful time. If you’re in a hurry go somewhere else.

I received the best customer service I’ve ever received in my experience here. It was my first firearm purchase. I had an idea of what I wanted but wasn’t set on anything and I had never handled a firearm before. Mark kindly guided me in the right direction, showed me how to hold the firearm and gave me a brief lesson on how it works. Then Jerry followed up by making sure I was comfortable with the purchase I was about to make and showed me to the best ammo for it. They are extremely patient and knowledgeable. At one point there was another customer attempting to show me other items that they had, Mark sensing and acknowledging that I was feeling pressured and overwhelmed, frankly told that customer that I had made my choice. I would recommend this place to any and everyone.

First call was told no product in stock. Next day call was told product was in stock and given price. Drove 5 hours to store, product was in stock but much higher tagged price ($700 more) than quoted on phone previous day. Showed counter person website price($400 less than tagged price) and he contacted manager and website price was agreed to. When checking out, a different manager said they would not honor website price. After a couple of discussions later, website price agreed to. Purchasing a over/under shotgun should have never been this difficult. It seems you reply below did not cover my first 3 sentences in original post. Your store is very well stocked and personnel very friendly. I appreciate working with me on agreeable price, however the confusion created by the different answers on item being in stock and final price was frustrating from a customer perspective.

Great place with a diverse inventory. Deals are available in the store but shop carefully. Some things are more than moderately priced and can be found elsewhere for a substantial discount.
