I spent roughly 1 hour at the office for my exam, and completed various inspections to only lead to an incorrect prescription for my glasses. Mistakes do occur, but it was the inconvenience and process I was put through to rectify the issue. I was sent back to the location that made my frames by Dr Rothbloom only to find out I should have first been seen by Dr Rothbloom due to the incorrect prescription being given to me. I do not recommend this place of business. As of today, still have not been seen by the doctor and have chosen to use another provider.

It was my first time at Rothbloom Eye Care since my previous eye doctor didn’t have any openings. I’m so glad I switched over! I have worn glasses and contacts for over fifteen years and have never been so impressed with their customer service and quality of care. The doctor I saw was Dr. Shah. Id been suffering from allergy issues with my eyes for more than a month! Trips to urgent care, telemedicine etc were not super helpful. Just kept getting told I had pink eye from allergies. I wish I had gone to Dr Gilliam first! Making an appointment was incredibly easy. When I arrived staff was super helpful and I was immediately taken back to a room to be examined. Dr Gilliam was thorough, kind and got me what I needed. He even said Id like to see you in a couple days just to make sure what I prescribed is working, come back at this time and Ill take a quick look for you on Saturday. As a first-time patient, Im so glad I chose this practice!

This is by far the best experience Ive ever had with an eye doctor and Ive been with glasses/contacts for 13 years. Dr. Shah was attentive and thorough in his exam even making sure the contacts were right for me, not rushing and took time to listen to my concerns. The staff was consistently sanitizing and making sure each patient had the same level of care and no one waited longer than 5 minutes. Overall a great experience and will definitely see them yearly!

Their office works like clockwork and they place a very obvious emphasis on sanitation/cleanliness. Dr. Gilliam takes the time to answer ALL questions and does an excellent job of educating while never making you feel rushed in any way, and Tu is hands-down the sweetest/most helpful when it comes to making purchases and picking out new frames. I had a great experience at Rothbloom Eye Care last week. The entire team, from the front desk staff to the eye glasses associates were incredibly friendly and helpful. I saw Dr. Gilliam and he was thorough, personable, and he truly wanted to help educate me on why tests were being performed and what he used them for. I am glad that I switched my care to their team. My husband and I will continue to use them for all of our future vision needs and routine visits. It has not even been a week since my visit and my glasses are ready for pick up and my contacts arrived by mail a couple of days ago. So impressed with their care, kindness, and professionalism.

Im very impressed by the costumer service at this place. From the moment I walked it it seemed like everyone was very happy to be working there, everyone was extremely nice and attentive. Dr. Gilliam is very welcoming, took extra time to explain everything, to get to know me as a patient and to make sure that I was comfortable with my new contacts prescription.The lady that helped me pick a new frame let me try as many as I needed, was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding what shape would suit me best and she also took extra time to explain everything that was covered my insurance.No one at any point was in a rush to get the exam done or sell me anything, which I truly appreciate.

I thought the doctor and staff members were INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY however when I requested my prescription so that I could have the freedom to purchase glasses at other locations the PD was removed from the prescription. The sales clerk originally printed the information but the doctor request that she remove the information. I thought that was incredibly rude and I sat there is silence because I didnt feel like giving it any energy.

Dr. Gilliam is wonderful! I have abnormal eye issues for my age and he caught something another doc may have missed. Also, the entire staff is friendly and kind. They go out of their way for you. Extra bonus: they are being extremely safe re COVID!

Im usually not a fan of going to the eye doctor as the majority of the time I can buy glasses and contacts online, but Rothbloom Eye Care has proven me wrong. They have weekend availability and excellent customer service. Tony did a great job performing some of the basic examinations and Dr. Rothbloom explained each procedure in detail, and why they are important, something you cannot get online. I will be going back to Rothbloom Eye Care again. A great doctor is hard to find.

The service in this office is sad. $350 eye exam surprised me in the end. I called and asked how much the eye exam is, the person who picked up the phone said, they all charge the same. I said, How much is the same? instead of saying holding on, Ill find out, she didnt even bother to do that. Then I called back, and the Opticians picked up the phone. She said, it ranging from $130 to .... To what? They cant seem to answer my question. Last time, I had the vision insurance. After the insurance was deducted, I paid out of my pock $100 something. Add up all the cost, it came out $350. Really? for an eye exam for contact lenses? To sum up, customer service is bad. Pricing is not transparent. What are you trying to do? Surprise us? This is an indication of dishonest business. I was surprised last time with a normal, basic, nothing fancy eye exam $350. We dont owe you the cost of your office improvement. Dont pass that cost to us. We just pay what we received, the basic eye exam!

I love Dr. Le. She is exceptional. She takes time to answer all my questions and explains everything really clearly. I feel the eye exam is incredibly thorough. The office is extremely organized and the staff get back to you right away. I recently got glasses and appreciated the expertise and time the staff spent explaining my options. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy. A really great experience.

A+. I went in as a new patient and experienced TOP NOTCH service and personal care. Beyond that, they have one of the best selections of frames to choose from. And most importantly is their Quality Control Dept. My glasses were expertly made and cared for. I say this because I am a former patient at MyEyeDr. Each and every time they screwed up my lenses. When you receive your lenses back from them and theres a scratch and an indentation on them from the machine, you know theres NO QUALITY CONTROL.I had a trusted, comfortable and amazing experience at Rothbloom. I am more than happy to recommend them.

I had my first appointment at Rothbloom Eye Care this morning. I had an annual exam and was prescribed glasses, so also picked out frames in their office. The office is very nice, with trendy decor and high tech devices. They had a nice selection of womens frames, including a Tiffany & Co. line that I havent seen before. Everyone that I interacted with was lovely, including Andrea and Dr. Rothbloom. The blond woman that helped me with frames was also great - patient and kind. I wish I could remember her name as well. Dr. Rothbloom was very thorough throughout the exam. I appreciated all the detail he provided with the images of my eye he showed me and the tests performed. The office even followed up with a summary of my visit and diagnosis promptly after I left via email. The woman that helped with my glasses was so informative! She took time to explain my insurance coverage and the costs for the different options. I will recommend this office to co-workers and family!

All I can say about my experience is WOW! This is the most thorough eye care I have EVER received! The staff were excellent from start to finish. If you just want cheap and quick you maybe disappointed. It cant be compared to an Americans Best, Target, Pearl Vision, or even Costco. If you are looking for eye care that is meticulous, Dr. Rothbloom is it. I know we all price shop but you really cant put a price on healthy eye sight. I did bring in my own frames from Costco and they were very accommodating. Thank you so very much.

One of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had! Front desk knew what they needed got the information and got me back to the doctor quick! Dr. Gilliam was great, took time to get to know me then fitted me perfectly for contacts. I must say it was one of the few times Ive enjoyed going to a checkup. The staff was extremely professional and very nice. I was seen immediately upon arriving and didnt have to wait around forever waiting on the doctor. They explained everything they did thoroughly and why they were doing it. I noticed recently my eyes were getting really tired when working on my computer for several hours. I went to this eye clinic and wow, Im impressed. First, youll notice when you walk in this place looks nothing like any other clinic... Its bright, modern, reminds me of an Apple store.The staff was super friendly, and while Im not an eye doctor, I know when other eye doctors Ive been to do an exam in 10 minutes and this office did it in 30 minutes, and with far more advanced gear...it makes me feel much better.Anyway, they explained the importance of lenses, what was wrong with my vision, and then I had a lot of fun picking out the frames. Never had such a good experience going to the doctor!Everyone compliments my glasses. Thanks!

No problems with eye exam just everything that came after. My lens order was cancelled same day it was placed which I found out 3 weeks later. They did refund my payment. However, they had also charged my insurance company for the lenses and were paid for them. I bought glasses elsewhere & submitted the receipt for reimbursement which I cant get until Rothbloom refunds payment to my insurance company. I have called Rothbloom & was told they never got paid and they also refused to call my insurance company. So Im stuck here waiting for them to resolve this problem.

From the greeting, to the exam, to the consultation with the doctor; our experience was great! I loved it so much, that I told my daughter to may an appointment to be seen. When Nurse Andrea heard me, she said, let me ask the doctor, if we could see her today? To my surprise, my daughter was also seen, that day, on the spot. Very impressive! Both doctors are absolutely amazing, very professional and very friendly. The staff not so much. During my last visit, the staff looked annoyed that they had to be at work. Nobody smiled or greeted me when I walked in. As I was waiting to see the doctor, one of the staff members started talking bad about another customer that had just walked out the door. I was shocked that they would do this... specially in front of other customers. After my visit, I was sent a survey asking about my experience. I explained what happened in the survey and nobody ever contacted me. The other issue I had was that they have mixed up my information with my husbands information. I was assured on 3 separate occasions that it had been corrected in the system but it had not. I have been with them for 2 years and the reason I go back is because of the amazing doctors. Each visit I hope the staff has improved but unfortunately they have not.

Ive been going here for glasses and eye exams for 2 years and Ive always had a pleasant experience. The team is friendly and professional and they recently redesigned the interior office (very nice) and extended their hours to 7pm on weekdays. Yesterday I went in at 5:45 to shop for a new pair of glasses, and I was greeted by everyone there. One staff member offered to look up my benefits to see if there were any extra discounts, and everyone else who was not with a customer offered to answer any questions I might have but let me browse on my own. I was able to pick out a pair of glasses in less than 30min and they were ready the next day. Great service!

I have seen two eye doctors at Rothbloom, and both have been incredible. I have Behcets Disease, which affects the eyes, so I call Rothbloom as soon as I have an issue with my eyes. They always fit me into their schedule, and the eye doctors have helped diagnose an issue that needs to be treated swiftly. My husband has injured his eye, and they have always done so well in helping with it. They helped get me to a specialist as well. I definitely recommend them for anything from a routine eye exam to injuries to diagnosing medical issues with the eyes!

The service Dr. Rothbloom provided was wonderful The staff was excellent they aided me in picking a great pair of glasses that I love (Im very picky.) A few months after I purchased my glasses I was in a car accident and my lenses were scraped and case was lost when I went in they replace both lenses in 30 minutes and provided me with a new case free of charge! Excellent costumer service and all smiles! This place is amazing!

After I described what I was looking for, Michelle found the perfect pair for me after two tries. She was also very friendly and welcoming. I had an eye exam with Dr Le and very happy with this clinic. Staff is super friendly and clinic is very clean. They have a great selection of eye glasses but I felt they are over priced. Hence I got my glasses from a different store. Other than that everything is good here.

The office staff is GREAT! The technology is up to par. Dr. Le is also GREAT and the selection of designer frames is terrific. Services is super fast. I ordered some Tiffany & Co frames and lenses on Monday and they called to tell me that my frames were ready on Tuesday, less than 24 hours!

FINALLY! After years of telling doctors that I still cant see as well as my husband can even when wearing my contacts-- I went to Rothbloom and Dr. Shah finally diagnosed me properly. I have an astigmatism that is minor, but still bad enough to need an astigmatism lense. The lense was on back order so I had to wear some trials that werent working for me at all. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving so Rothbloom is closed today and tomorrow-- and I wasnt able to get over to pick up my new contacts in time yesterday because my car is being repaired... so, Dr. Shah popped them in my mailbox. Now I dont have to spend Thanksgiving blind!!! THANK YOU!!!!

I have been a happy patient of Dr. Rothbloom for about 10 years. I chose him originally because I needed new contacts. He fitted me with multifocal hybrid contact lenses (instead of bifocal/progressive glasses) that I just love. I highly recommend Dr. R and his wonderful staff. They are all very nice, as well as professional, so that a visit is always a pleasant experience.

I just called to try and make an appointment, I spoke with the receptionist who verified my insurance before placing me on a 15 min hold. I waited, just to give them the benefit of the doubt before someone came back on the phone and asked me what I was holding for. An 18 min hold and absolutely nothing accomplished. Really???? My daughter told me about Dr Rothbloom originally and then I looked him up on my insurance. I was so thrilled; I immediately set up an appointment. My experience with eye doctors for the last 4 years has not been great. The time Dr Le and Staff spent with me was more than satisfying, it was great. All the Staff was so friendly, personable and helpful. They spent time with me and made sure that I was satisfied with the glasses I chose. I cant say enough about Dr Le as well as Dr Rothbloom, the results were more than I expected. I would definitely recommend Dr. Rothblooms office.

Probably one of the BEST experiences Ive had in a while at a doctors office - WOW! Dr. Huong Le was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G :-) She was very thorough with my exam. I had many questions and she addressed them all. The entire staff was a delight. I had Eve who assisted me with picking out me cool, new frames and sunglasses. This place is a hidden gem in Smyrna, GA. Ive never been so ready to have another eye appointment in my entire adult life, lol! Thank you, Rothbloom!

I called this place because it was close to my house and was the first provider my vision coverage listed. The receptionist had no idea what she was talking about and acted very entitled. She wanted to charge me full price when I have insurance that’s accepted by this company. She wanted to go through my medical insurance when I have separate vision coverage through my employer but since she classified this appointment as an emergency, she said we had to go through my medical insurance, which is not true. The hassle over the phone made me wonder how much of a hassle it would be at the office, let alone billing. I find it one of the most discouraging things for a person to take the steps in checking on their health and company’s like this make it harder than necessary. I called the next office on my company’s provider list and they set me up right away. If this place gives you a hard time and attempts to charge you full price while you have coverage, please know there are better options and customer service.

I had my first visit and everything was great except the price on my sunglasses. I picked out a frame from Ray Bans and saw the same frame on the Ray Bans website for $79 less. It is frustrating that they charge more then the manufacturer for the same frame.

I just went for the first time, and I must say this place is awsome. Everyone here is kind and helpful. And Dr. Rothbloom is amazing. He was very informative and made sure I understood everything he was doing.

I was told that I needed a followup appointment to check for glaucoma. The first question I asked was if it would incur any additional costs to me and I was told by Dr. Shah that it would not based on my insurance. To my surprise I was not only charged a $40 office visit, but sent a bill for $111.50. Had I been honestly told that I may incur any charges for the visit I would not have scheduled the unnecessary appointment. When I called the staff was friendly and helpful about the situation, but ultimately ended up paying the bill to avoid having it reported against my credit. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Appointments are easy to make online and all the office staff are very pleasant even at their busiest. I have recommended Dr. Rothbloom to friends who like him as much as I do. Appointments are prompt; not a long wait time which means they value my time as much as I do, but they never make me feel rushed to get me out of the office!!

Dr. Le is awesome! She is a great doctor and explains things so well. She takes her time and goes into detail in laymans terms. The office is clean, new, and has a wonderful, friendly staff. New equipment and great location in Smyrna! Highly recommend.

What I like most about this office is that they have the most updated technology for thorough eye exams. The frame selection works for all budget ranges. In my experience please make sure your kids see an Optometrist. Your family doctor is insufficient. Make an appointment today.

Excellent first visit! Dr Rothbloom came highly recommended from a co-worker when I expressed my total discontent for another provider. He and his staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. They treated me with respect and listened to my needs and I received the prescription I needed for my contacts which did not require me to wear reading glasses. I was even told by the previous provider I couldn’t have tinted lenses due to me having an astigmatism. I knew that was incorrect because not only have I had Toric tinted lenses I researched and found they were still being made! When I told Dr Rothbloom I wanted tinted lenses and that I had an astigmatism his response was what color did I want! I will definitely be back and will recommend Dr Rothbloom to anyone looking for excellent eye CARE!

Made my appointment online which was super easy and confirmed via email. I have used this office for many years and have never had a bad thing to say about it, everyone is always courteous and efficient I only wish I could say the same about other Doctors offices Ive had to use

I did NOT have a nice experience here at all. My boyfriend went for an eye check up and to get glasses. The doctor recommend a follow up appointment to look at some of the nerves. Before making the appointment, my boyfriend asked the doctor how much it would cost. She said based on his insurance it wont cost a thing. She did not express any doubt and clearly stated there wouldnt be another charge. Since there was no cost, we agreed. The day he goes for his follow up appointment he was charged a $40 co-pay. He thought okay, no big deal. And he paid it. A few weeks later, he got a $111 bill in the mail. After explaining everything to them, they were unable to remove the charge. While the staff was friendly and helpful, the business as a whole is not reputable at all. They will over charge you. Ill never go back.

Great doctors, they really seem to care about their patients. Nice, attentive staff, very helpful. I also really like the use of technology in the office, very modern equipment used in the exam process, and the Optomap means no more dilation drops!

As always my visit was wonderful! I was seen in a timely manner and the staff treated us great!!! The doctor answered all our questions... Great experience!!!
