I chose them strictly for the good reviews, but I personally did not have a good experience... Not sure why my experience was so different than the ones claimed here.. The main guy was not very nice and after paying them to diagnose my car, he ended up telling me he didn’t hear the sound I came for (even after driving with him and the sound being clear as day). He could definitely hear it.. Totally unapologetic and then didn’t even offer to refund me my money. It was a complete waste of my time. I wouldn’t recommend.

Just moved to the area and saw the great reviews for this place. They replaced my water pump and brake pads for 60% less than the dealership and were good at communicating the progress (very fast, too). Dont let the exterior appearance deter you. Great work.

Honest! Honest! Honest! I went into this shop for a second opinion after being told I needed $2300.00 of work. David looked over my car and gave me suggestions for repair. It was less than a quarter of the price! As a single female, you can see mechanics frothing at the mouth just waiting to pile up needless repairs. Not this place. David is one of the last mechanics with integrity. His mom, the office manager, is sweet and keeps you entertained while waiting. I have used Cantrells for many, many, many years and I have never had a problem with them. I have always been treated with respect and everyone there is professional and very helpful, very nice people. When I take my car there, I know it will be done correctly no matter what the problem is with my car. I could not ask for a better mechanic. I trust David with my cars. I have learned what David tells me is honest and truthful. If I could score more than 5 stars, I would.

Truck was leaking antifreeze from an inconvenient location. David got me a diagnosis same day, quoted a fair price for a labor intensive job, and delivered a finished job when he said he would.Hard to ask more of a mechanic than that!Will certainly give Cantrell Automotive my business again should i need mechanic services

What can I say but OUTSTANDING SVC. Im new to the area, just moved from NH, and needed to find a mechanic. Anyones who have moved knows how its a difficult situation to find a mechanic you can trust. Belive me, you have nothing but trust bringing your vehicle here. David, the owner and mechanic will give you the best svc you will ever have. His Mom will great you, get your info and the rest is in the trusted hands of David. This is my 2nd time coming here, 2 totally different issues, and the charges where very reasonable. I couldn’t of asked for a better situation after a horrible incident Miss Cantrell and David were amazing!!! Got the job done so quickly and their prices were extremely fair.I mistakingly filled my car up with diesel gas and they charged me $355 Which was far better than the $1100 Chevy was going to charge me to do the work.

Since old man Cantrell passed away, the service here has really suffered. I used to bring my vehicles here all the time for any repairs etc...and was always treated with respect, those days are gone unfortunately. I tried to get a repair done recently, and was met with the nastiest attitudes by everyone in the shop. I sincerely hope that they dont drive the shop into the ground after all the years Jerry spent building such a great place. I wish them well, but definitely wont be going back again. Be very cautious if you choose to use them. I spoke with other loyal customers in my neighborhood of his, and Im not the only one who feels this way.
