The service center is a joke. They claimed to have fixed my car after it over heated. They didnt even check the coolant. I even asked them to and that is something that should have been checked anyways. Do your best to bring it to a different dealership. Im still having issues, but the car is going to a different dealership. The car only has 21,000 miles to top it off. Extremely disappointed in hyundai and especially Slidell.

Not your typical dealership, no rush or pressure!! Everything from the test drive to the signing was just an easy and pleasant experience!! I meet Ms. Caitlin and Mr. Steve, awesome people, just as everybody else in this location, theyre very professional, friendly and respectful... They were very transparent with ALL the numbers. At the end of the day I had the lowest possible interest rate with better price range and terms that I wanted. You just cant go wrong if buying a new hyundai!!! I definitely recommend it.

I want to take a moment and say Thank You to Ms. Lindsay Fonfeca in the Service Department. Myself and my 89 year old mother had been traveling for close to 8 hours and still had 8 hours to go when we started having trouble with our ac in our Hyundai Sonata. My mom suffers from COPD so this was very stressful on her. So we pulled into Hyundai Slidell around 12. I went to the service department and spoke to Ms. Lindsay, she let me know it was lunch time and the guys were out to lunch, she personally came out to our car to take a look. She literally got in our car and started working on the ac. To our surprise she took her time and fixed the ac so that we were able to make it the rest of the 8 hours drive to our destination. She was a life saver to us that day! She went way beyond the scope of her job description. I would travel the 8 hours to buy a vehicle from Hyundai Slidell just because of Ms Lindsey and her extradoniary customer service that you do not find any more.... Thank You again.

This is what we said on a Hyundai survey for our service here this week- A 3 hour job (not diclosed until we got there) took 6 hours. A brand new 18 year old tech spilled antifreeze and transmission fluid from my car, worked in it, then took 15-20 minutes to clean it up. It did not appear he knew the job (he asked 2 co- workers questions and then dawdled). We had to ask the service guy filling in as service manager to please check the techs work or put another on the job. The temp service manager was rude and dismissive, calling my 65 year old husband man, which he objected to immediately. Then 2 more hours passed, while we mostly waited outside because employees were not wearing masks inside. That meant mostly standing, as the one area with outdoor seating was taken over by chain smoking employees. My worst experience at any car dealership in nearly 40 years.

Customer service is to me is one of the most important aspects of a business! Today there seems to be a lot of mediocre service, at best, out there in the marketplace! And then there is Miss Savannah Pennington, who is the epitome of customer service satisfaction! She is priceless! Professional, present, poised, pleasant, patient, calm, confident, accommodating and thorough, are all words that I would use to describe her! Whatever you have to do to keep her and make her happy, I would recommend that you do it! I think she has earned a raise and some well deserved praise, for how well she does her job! Furthermore, I was blown away to find out that she was only in her early twenties, which is rare to come across someone so young with that much wisdom! I woke up one morning and decided I wanted a new SUV, got on the Hyundai of Slidell website and received a call from Caitlin. She was so helpful and kind that I had already told her I was not planning on coming to the actual dealership but ended up volunteering to come test drive the Palaside! When I got there I was introduced to the best sells lady ever, Tiffany! She was super nice and so down to earth. I test drove the vehicle I was interested in and next I was in the office with the finance manger, Billy, where he and the General manger, Chris went above and beyond to get me right where I needed to be with numbers! I would NEVER recommend Hyundai of Slidell...EVER! When I purchased my car there, everyone was nice the salesman, finance...everyone. I also purchased a bumper to bumper warranty for my car. I had a problem with my Elantra and took it in several times only to be made to feel stupid each time b/c it wasnt acting up with them. I drive to NO for work every day and some days not knowing if I would make it b/c my car would shake and sputter. When I told them what was going on I was told theres an 800 number on the passenger side back window, call them if you break down and they can tow it then we can see what is wrong with it. I ended up having a local parts store run a test and took that paper to them for them to finally fix it. Well it still doesnt run 100% and was then told that was actually covered through the manufacturer warranty not Hyundai..Then I just had a recent trip and on the way home the screws fell out of the bottom of the engine shield and the shield came off on the interstate in AL. When I got home my husband called and asked if they would fix the shield since I paid for a bumper to bumper warranty and was rudely told it wasnt their fault, it was the fault of whoever changed my oil. Well come to find out I went to the place that changes my oil and they dont even remove that part to change the oil..once again, not wanting to honor the warranty that I paid for. On top of it all, when my husband was told they wouldnt fix the shield, he then asked what they charge to replace it. She wouldnt even give us that information. We were willing to pay out of pocket and couldnt even get a price. I love my car and understand things happen but I am to a point of getting rid of it just so I dont have to deal with these people. If you go there dont purchase the extended warranty unless you are willing to take it another dealership for service and fingers crossed you NEVER have to deal with the service department especially the lady that works back there. She has the WORST customer service skills I have ever seen. Piece of advice, shop any Hyundai dealership other than Slidell.

I came here as part of my buying process, I was looking at a lot of options. After a few weeks spent researching and comparing vehicles, the Hyundai sold itself in terms of quality for the price, but the employees here really made this an unbelievable experience. Ive purchased a lot of vehicles in my life, so I went in with my guard up expecting to be hounded by sales people and managers giving me the hard press. Instead, not a single employee harassed me or made me feel anything but completely comfortable. In fact, they showed me a lesser trim package for the vehicle I was looking at that gave me everything I wanted while also saving me ~$3k.Every employee was courteous and knowledgeable and made me feel as if they truly had my best interests at heart. Ive never been a part of a sales process that was more transparent. On the first day they sat me down and showed me the invoice for the vehicle, and took the time to go line by line making sure I understood each charge. They told me directly, In a world with so many internet resources available, any informed customer knows this information, so why hide it? If were honest with people, the cars will sell themselves. They are right!I could go on and on about my experience, because there were so many things they did well down to every detail. I believe the best compliment I could give is to say that this was not just a great car-buying experience - it was a great overall experience.Tiffany was an outstanding salesperson, the finance guys were great, and even the owner was involved as an integral part of my process. These guys made everything on my end from Charlie arranging everything to Randy helping me move stuff to Christian making the end even easier than the start. I told them exactly what I wanted, where I wanted to be monthly, and to not waste anyone’s time unless it was there. They did exactly that and didn’t waste a minute of my time. Chevy tried to sell me not one, but two wrecked cars, Nissan screwed me over, and the service I got from dodge was just the crappiest ever.... however this place Hyundai of Slidell was the best yet. Absolutely all in all horrible.The salesman openly told me I lied about my mileage (but he was clearly looking at something else) and his manager also accused me of lying about my monthly payment only because he lacked knowledge of it. Instead of allowing me to look up my information on his computer, he asked me for my username and password and typed it in himself.I may be young but accusing a customer of lying is poor customer service and I was furious when I left. There were also dogs running around and little to none eye contact and I was always the one with my hand out first for a handshake.So rude ! How these guys have a license to sell is beyond me.

When other dealerships made it a big deal, the team at Hyundai of Slidell made it a breeze! Very Professional. Not your typical high pressure situation. We visited multiple Hyundai dealerships. We settled on Hyundai of Slidell above 4 others. Very cordial and helpful. Steve Dinopolis was a real class act coordinated several test drives, and he was friendly, knew his product and had a great sense of humor. Tiffany Wimberly was very nice and assisted Steve with electronics interface.. They also said were were welcome to return if we needed further assistance with the smart functions.Everyone we came into contact with inclusive of the Owner to the Custodial Staff was friendly. They made it a point to check up on the vehicle and assured we were satisfied Oh I forgot to add price was great...none of the hidden last minute stuff other dealers hit you with after you think the deal is done..IMHO - the Hyundai Hybrid beats its competitors in all the categories we found important, has great reviews, and a heck of a warranty.

I am a demanding person. I know what I want, when I want it, and how I want it! I had a Hyundai Accent and was needing to upgrade! I did a lot of researching on Hyundai cars since the one I had was 10 years old with up to 200,000 miles on it and still running great! I just needed a bigger car. I first stopped at Hyundai of Covington. They were nice but I didnt get that warm fuzzy feeling like I did at Hyundai of Slidell. I was first greeted by their office dog! Such a cutie!! Tiffany walked up to me and I knew that we were going to bond. I told her I wanted a black elantra with black interior and a sun roof. I told everyone that I wasnt going to buy a car because it was my first time buying without a co-signer and I wanted to make sure I was not taking advantage of. Low and behold Tiffany and her supervisor did everything they could to get me a low rate! They even detailed my old car for free, as I was planning on giving it to a co-worker who needed a car for free. They really take good care of their customers and Tiffany still keeps in contact with me. They are truly like family!!!

When did dealerships start making excuses not to warranty work? Less than 10k miles and AC is dead. Hot air only in the middle of summer. The service tech made up a story about a rock apparently. How does a small rock destroy the AC without damaging the grill? Thanks anyway, but I’m sticking with Honda. I suggest that you do the same.

My son is in the military and needed a car. I was very happy with the customer service we received. The salesman was vey nice and helpful. The finance manager was also very nice. My son got a really good deal on his car and Im a happy mom because I have one less thing to worry about. Im so impressed with the Hyndais that Im thinking of getting one myself. I definitely recommend this dealership and would use them again.

Excellent car buying experience. I was on a tight budget and Id spent 2 weeks scouring New Orleans and the Northshore for a decent car at the $4k mark. I had seen nothing but poor quality worn out high-milers until I got here and found a little gem. The car was clean, well maintained and drives perfectly. The asking price was very sensible and what impressed me most is that the salesman offered me the use of his computer to check the NADA and Kelly Blue Book prices on the car. It was so competitively priced I didnt haggle, there was no need. The guys here were suspremely professional and polite, no high pressure tactics or up-selling, just good old fashioned courtesy and an obvious desire to provide top notch service. This was the best car buying experience Ive ever had, hands down.Next time I need a car, Ill come back here. I dealt with Anthony (he gave me the test drive) and Chris, the General Manager, who handled the paperwork. Nice people to do business with!
