- Justin the used car sales manager was absolutely great. No sales pressure and gave me great driving directions for both city and highway to test out the vehicle I was looking at. He also made sure my new suv was cleaned and filled with fuel which I greatly appreciated. If this rating was only based on him then it would’ve been an 5 without question, but my experience with the financing person Alice wasn’t the best. It’s really important when dealing with customers that you are aware of your behaviors. The constant sighing, impatient tapping, side comments about how my insurance adjuster was taking long and behaviors that clearly showed that she was pushing my transaction fast only to service the next person was a bit insulting. I was a paying customer just like the other people she was waiting to service. I definitely felt rushed and not as important and in a business that word of mouth is important, this was not a pleasant feeling I would’ve like to leave with after driving 2 hours one way to buy a vehicle
Wonderful experience buying a new car, everyone was very nice and made me feel comfortable and happy with my purchase. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
Not impressed with the service department. Ive been waiting 3 hours on a simple tire repair. A nice man came and told me an hour ago I was done and would have my car around soon. He just came back and said it is almost done and will be another 15 minutes. Turns out the tech is working on mine and another one at the same time. Thats some good time management for you. Really disappointed in this experience.
I recommend this p l ace because I had a minor problem involving my vehicle while getting it serviced and the team stepped up and made everything right. I give total raw honesty when it comes to reviews and I can actually say that the team here admitted to the mistake and made sure that I was completely satisfied after all was said and done so I take my hat off to this group, keep up the good work and you all definitely put customers first......
If youre going to buy a Jeep in the New Orleans area, go see these guys and ask for Phil. And get to know Aaron over there, hes a wonderful Jeep nerd.Let me first tell you that in prepping to buy a Jeep, I visited every dealership in the region, not only to competitively price the vehicle, but to find a good crew worth working with.If youre buying a Jeep, theres two things to note:1. These vehicles are in-demand, in fact theyre the most wanted vehicle in the USA at present, so you have to do your homework on whats fair for
I purchased a charger on eBay a couple months ago. I live inTexas and went to Florida to visit my moms grave site. Upon return to Austin, the car broke down in New Orleans and pending Laura. My options were very limited but I decided to have the car towed from New Orleans to Slidell for diagnosis. The service staff and especially Chris went above and beyond to help me and I deeply appreciate thatMy car has been ready for pickup for awhile. Initially I decided to have the car shipped from Sliddell to Austin. This eventually fell through at the last moment due to integrity issues with the transportI decided to drive to Slidell to get my car. I did call the service section and was advised early closing would occur and the shop would be closed completely the next day as well.Because it wasn’t specified what time early closing would happen, I continued my trip from Austin to Slidell to get my car. I telephoned Lakeside again for clarification on closing time. This time I was told normal hours but closed Tuesday all day.I sped through the remainder of Texas and all the way to Slidell . I knew would be arriving before website posted closing time.I observed another outstanding employee named Red. Red is a professional and goes above and beyond trying to contact an INVISIBLE management team.Is it really that hard to update a website and put out a voice mail that accurately reflects open or closed status . The in mid management at its worse. Allowed to exist by a management team that puts customers last. The telephone answering service gave me the operation hours. Nothing is writing describes early closing on Monday 14 August and Tuesday 15 August. I have driven from Austin Texas to this austere and dysfunctional “team”.That hurricane is spinning around at a very low speed. It’s not even coming this way . Iguess Lakeway Chrysler Dodge took a summer vacation that’s been a couple weeks alreadyI just don’t understand the complete breakdown of communication. That’s a lackadaisical management team. Can’t ensure web page is reflective of hours of operationTo show even more dysfunction, the answering service contacted me andinformed the service shop is open now.I need my car back ASAP.Please someone that can help. HELP!!!
Horrible. Had recalls on my truck for my front end. And they would not complete recalls because I had a aftermarket set of wheels. And also. Would not look and oil leak because truck was deleted. I travel all over never had a issue with dodge in mark dodge lake charles Dodge in fl. And in Houston. Also never had a issue but. Slidell. O boy let me tell ya. Smh. Please go somewhere else beside this place
Horrible!!! Do not use them!! They do not cover anything under warranty. Sales process was phenomenal, that’s how they pull you in. $40k+ car has an issue 6 months later and they are saying it’s caused by us. However, they can not explain how it could’ve happened. They just keep saying they aren’t sure. They now want to charge $400+ to fix it and $115 diagnostic just to get the car back!!!! This is not at all what I thought I was getting myself into when paying this much for a car and an extended warranty. Car has less than 40k miles on it.
Sorriest parts changers ever. (they dont deserve to be called mechanics.)car went in for an issue, that was then blamed on removing the wheel. was told they dont offer bumper to bumper warranties, yet took mine in for warranty work anyway. I will make it my lifelong goal to make sure they lose as much money as possible. so Im starting with you, the consumer, searching for a reliable dealership. all that I ask is you choose another dealership that honors warranties and doesnt lose your key fobs
Service department went above and beyond on a warranty repair. From drop off to pick up, less than 24 hours to fix an engine problem. I am impressed with the level of customer service, the attention to detail, and the speed of service. I did not purchase my vehicle here. I have not had a pleasant experience with the service department at the dealer I did buy from. Based on this experience, I already know my next new car purchase will be with Lakeshore. Thank you!
Alright, folks. Let me set the record straight. You will find no BETTER dealer than this one. They went above and beyond to give me a better trade-in deal on my van that I was upside down on (even better than the Kelley Blue Book. They heard what I wanted (car and note) and they met EVERY stipulation. They even sweetened the deal with a year of free oil changes.I will sum it up for you in one word:STUPENDOUS!I dont know what theyre talking about the Sales Manager for, Aaron made me feel like family, not a customer. And hed do it again, I know! When you go, ask for Grant. This guy knows his stuff and will put you at ease!Go, tell em I sent ya!
I bought my dream car yesterday with the help of Ms. Frances Hall. Lakeshore gave me an excellent trade in value on my old car. Ms. Hall was professional and kind. In short, I was in and out and on the road in my new Wrangler in no time at all. Thank you, Ms. Hall! Thank you, Lakeshore family.
I took my jeep here for an oil change, tire rotation and bulb that was out. The total price was a little pricey. I was originally told it would take about a half an hour to do a driver side running light. I had already paid for the other work and they had to order the bulb and had to go back for it to be replaced and I would have to pay the labor. I went in and when I checked out it was 128.40 for the labor my husband said for a bulb was then told they had to take the front end apart. I paid the bill but will not go there for any work to be done.
Tried to buy a 2016 Chevrolet Spark LS with 26,378 miles on it, I looked over the photos very closely from their website. Went ahead to this dealership to see the car in person and test it out, things seemed to be doing ok until I noticed that the steering is out of alignment and then after the test drive I looked to the left side of the steering wheel where the head light dial is located I noticed that the bottom half of the dash assembly is separated by a quarter of an inch. I brought these issues to the sales manager and explained that in the photos this was not the case and this separation was not there in the photos and told him that someone there had to have tampered with it and caused more harm than good. Anyway I got a call back and was told that they can handle the alignment issue but wouldnt handle the bottom half of the dash assembly due to being to complex. He went on with the price and I told him thats not going to work considering the issues at hand so this makes me believe that they know more than they are telling me when I was told that all of their used vehicles go through a thorough inspection before placed on the lot to be sold. To all folks looking for a used vehicle be sure to inspect the entire vehicle inside and out because this dealership has raised a RED FLAG with me and feel like they were trying get as much money for this car even when I pointed out the problems.
My company had a Company truck overheat coming through Slidell La, Brian in the service department was AWESOME. They diagnosed the problem within an hour of arrival and had the truck completed the very next day. By far the BEST service. As a business owner myself, the customer service we received was unprecedented. We appreciate all you guys did for us and get us back on the road. I HIGHLY recommend Lakeshore!
Very high pressure sales environment. If you need a push to make a purchase, then good. But if you dont like being pressured into making a purchase, then dont go here. Also, buyer beware, these people will tell you just about anything to make the sale. My salesman told 3 distinct lies. What a joke.
My 17 ram sat at the dealership for a month. Zero repairs were made, service said I had a bad wheel bearing. After spending a ton to replace the wheel bearings, my initial issue still existed. I brought it to Rainbow in Covington, was told my truck was completely unsafe to drive, and repairs were made in one week. Lakeshore screwed me, they have no idea what they are doing, and even tried to sell me a V6 truck when I told them specifically I wanted a Hemi. Do not waste your time. Make the trip to Rainbow or anywhere else first.
The service department here is horrible. We brought our vehicle in on a Wednesday and were told that since the problem was intermittent that they would need to keep it and see if they could figure out the problem. A week and a half later (and $400 for a rental) they called and said that they couldn’t figure it out and to come pick it up.I drove it home and it sounded absolutely horrible. I drove my kids to meet my sister in Covington and when I started it to come back, low and behold it wouldn’t start! The next morning my husband (recovering from the FLU!) opens the hood and notices PIECES ARE MISSING. The air hose and the engine cover were NOT there. What kind of damage did I do the the van in the time that I took it home until the time we noticed their mistake?!?My children’s lives were put in danger because of their mistake! I am BEYOND upset and want to get rid of this POS.I will NEVER buy from this dealership or company again, and until they make it right I will advise anyone and everyone that I contact with about how horrible of a business they are.
They get it done there....everythings as they say...my man Darrien n the sales manager goes to bat for u.....truck I wanted was sold....he put me in something better....then they got my rates down....very appreciative....still thanking them...ask for Darrien
This dealership stole items out of the vehicle I purchased and added products to trump up the price. Don’t waste your time with this dealership!
DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I put my Jeep in the shop for making noise and a vibration in the rear end. They had my Jeep for 2 weeks. They acknowledged it had the noise and the vibration but because they didn’t see anything with my Jeep they DID NOT FIX. AND I WAS STUCK PAYING A $600.00 rental bill from Enterprise. My Jeep is a 2018 and has less than 60,000 miles on it!
Wrost experience ever if you want a LEMON come here thats what they sold us and refuse to fix any issues and keep expecting us to pay I thought that was why you buy from a dealership.....But not this one.
Let me tell you how God works. We had been trying to get a truck for a few days over at Ray Bryant and the salesman BARRY SPHR was so impersonal, we had been there over a course of 2 days, finally I said enough is enough because my money spend anywhere. We left and went to Lakeshore Dodge and the 1st person we met was PERCY DILLON let me tell you how he listen to me vent about my horrible experience and he assured me that he would take care of us.MY EXPERIENCE AT LAKESHORE CHRYSLER WAS WONDERFUL NOT ONLY WAS PERCY AWESOME!! EVERYONE THERE MADE US FEEL APPRECIATED.THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, PLEASANT, ATTENTIVE AND VERY COURTEOUS!!!I definitely recommend Lakeshore Chrysler!THANK YOU GUYS FOR EVERYTHING!P.S. We love our new Truck (2020 Laramie)
The buying experience was very pleasant. Salesman wasn’t pushing us to purchase the vehicle. This is honestly the best vehicle purchase I have ever experience.
Of all the places i couldve went to to get a great deal, this is where i started and got the best deal on exactly what i wanted and they even work vigorously to get the payment to with in 10 dollars of my request. These guys are really top notch and treat you fairly, which btw is not easy for me to say about dealerships. I am extremely excited and happy to do business at Lakeshore Dodge.
Everything was smooth and easy going. Got a real good deal. Ask for Gary, he was amazing to work with
Easy to deal with on price, showed them the price of the same vehicle at another dealership, no problem, they immediately matched it. I started working with Dustin online and through text to set everything up. When I arrived we were handed over to Ms. Frances. She is a great salesperson and she definitely gets a 5! . I enjoyed dealing with her. I did most everything online to save time. The wait to see the finance manager took a little longer than I had expected, but once we were in his office, he worked with the numbers and got things where I needed them to be. I have a happy 16 year old with his new Jeep Patriot! Im sure I will be a repeat customer!
Cant say enough about the excellent customer service that I received at Lakeshore. Grant was extremely helpful, even went to Covington to get a vehicle to show me. Ended up buying that truck. Grant was very knowledgeable about the different features of the vehicle and was able to answer all of my questions. Chase worked with me over a couple of hours to get me to the price that I was happy with and was very informative throughout the entire process. Couldnt be happier with my experience and I would and will refer anyone I know to go see them. They will find a vehicle for you. Thanks again guys!!!
Everyone was friendly, the atmosphere was very comfortable. I felt no tension like other dealerships. My salesman Maurice was wonderful. I felt he and his boss took care of me and did what they could to get the numbers where I felt comfortable. I will definitely go back when I need another vehicle. I would also recommend them to all of my family and friends.
Chris in the service department did an Outstanding job! When the mechanic ran into problems that delayed the job, he kept me informed of the progress. Kudos Chris, job well done. 🏆Note: I had to tow my car from another dealer because they could not repair it.
Ms. Frances worked well with getting me out of a vehicle I didnt like into a one that I really like. Very impressed with her. Had an issue with the Sales Manager, & requested that the General Manager contact me, but no word from him. Called more than one time. Either not at work, in a meeting or already left for the day. Not impressed with the management at all.
Thanks to chase he helped with a problem i had with my jeep. Then had it detailed. He is the best.
I went in to lakeshore upside down on my truck and wanted a jeep wrangler. I was greeted by a awesome sales consultant khristy and Kyle used car manager and Aaron finane manager all where very friendly and went above and beyond took the time to help me which I know was not easy but at the end they got my in a new jeep thank yall very much for the help
Highly recommend Service departmentQuality work nice polite professional
I had a wonderful experience at Lakeshore C/D/J from beginning to end. Everyone was amazing from our salesman, Kyle to the finance manager Dale, & we cant forget about Timmy😃 They were all super nice, & helpful! Kyle & Dale were so patient, not pushy at all. I left feeling confident that I got the best deal possible!
Buying a car has never been so easy. My salesman Trey Sumner is the best! Never once did I feel pressured, he was very patient while I was trying to make my decision. Aaron Stanley worked hard to make me one satisfied customer. Bruce in finance made the final stage of my purchase smooth and easy.
Really enjoyed the whole experience. The sales person was nice and didnt push anything on me that I didnt want. Also sales manager was awesome got everything done fairly quickly. Sorry I dont remember his name. But Mrs. Gail was my salesperson I would recommend her to anyone looking for a vehicle.
Best car buying experience I’ve had. Chris was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and all the features. Didn’t waste my families time, in and out. All employees at the dealership were extremely polite and Courteous. Will do business again.
My family and I were traveling from Florida to Texas and we had an error message on our vehicle and decided to find a dealership. We stopped for the night and arrived to the Dodge Service department before opening. Chris Juge was our service contact and he was great. We explained that we were trying to get back home in Texas and needed to wait on the vehicle. He kept us very informed and was able to repair the vehicle in 2 hours. The dealership did not have all the parts we needed however they gave us part numbers and we are able to order and make it home to finish repairs. We are pleased with the service we received today and would go back if ever needed!
Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. I could not have asked for a better salesman as Gary. He did everything he could to get us in the vehicle we chose. I will be back and I will give recommendations.
Fantastic service center! Only place that I trust to take my Hellcat Redeye.Polite & professional staff a d technicians that treat you and your vehicle with courtesy and respect.
Attempted to purchase a vehicle that was on the lot. Asked representative to send the FINAL prices on each of the 2 Trucks I wanted to choose from. Starting at 9am in the morning, called 4 times throughout the day (each time being told they would call me right back). Attempted to talk to Sales Manager 3 MORE TIMES (Always went to VOICEMAIL) Dealership CLOSED without getting the call or information promised. If this is what its like to attempt to PURCHASE, can you IMAGINE trying to get SERVICE? STAY AWAY!!
I recently purchased a new 2017 Dodge Charger from Lakeshore Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep in Slidell, La. After hearing that Lakeshore had the vehicle that I wanted, I contacted the dealership by phone and was connected to Ricky, a new car sales representative. Over the course of the weekend, Ricky, through nothing but phone calls and text messages, worked on my deal with his manager, Chase, after I submitted my credit application on-line. On the following Tuesday, my day off, I walked into the dealership to find that everything was done except for the signing of the papers. Ricky and Chase were awesome and got me into the car I wanted for the monthly note that I was looking for. They really made this car purchase easy and hassle free. I recommend Lakeshore Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.
Steven Harris ☆☆☆☆☆ Salesman. Sent in a request on a Truck Monday, and within a couple hours I had my first experience with Salesman Steven H. From that point on we communicated back and forth throughout the week about the Truck I was interested in. My drive was 3.5 and he assured me the Truck would be there when I got there.Got there Friday evening about 4:15 and was out by 7 p.m. Truthful was one of the best Truck buying experiences Ive ever had. The finance department did a great job with getting a great rate on the Truck also. Steven even recommend a great seafood restaurant. The owners of this dealership may sign the checks but The people like Steven pay the bills.
Excellent first time experience Here, My Dodge Charger had a few recalls brought car early that morning and waited for them to complete all recalls. They made me feel right at home and did excellent work, had me on my way within a few hrs highly recommend
I went into Lakeshore Chrysler not planning to buy a vehicle since I normally hate buying cars and wasn’t up for the battle. But Phil Harrison and his business manager were so nice and fair that I bought another Fiat, which I absolutely love and will never go anywhere else to purchase a car. Thanks to Lakeshore Chrysler for making my year!!
Best buying experience ever! The sales staff listened to our needs and did not try to talk us into a vehicle we didnt want. Even though we were pre-approved, the finance team worked to get us a better interest rate and at a cost we could live with. This was, so far, the best buying experience we have had to date!
Highly recommended. Everyone was very helpful, including the employees who were not working with me. The owner even came over to thank me! The whole experience was very fast and streamlined. Will definitely use them again.
They get five stars from me because my salesman Karrington was patient, friendly, and courteous. We test-drove three cars, and I chose the one that worked best for my needs and budget. Ive already customized it a little! Thank you! I love my new car - my first one in almost 20 years! Ill be back again sometime!
We worked with Trey, Grant and Alexis. Excellent, excellent service. We didn’t feel any pressure. They worked VERY hard to get us the van we wanted. Although the van didn’t work out, my husband purchased a truck. We were at the dealership several times over a few days and the quality of service was consistent, even when we walked in at closing time. When we are ready to purchase the van, or any vehicle, our first stop will be Lakeshore. We’ve already sent fellow military personnel your way.Thank you for making a new-to-the-area military family feel so welcomed and comfortable.Thank YOU for taking time to respond. Very impressive.
Do not buy from this place you will regret it. They do not care about you after the sale and could care less what issues you have. Remember the car salesman mentality and if you do not, then go there you will see. I had an issue and only when I posted a review did I get the owners son (chase) to contact me. He asked what the issue was and after just telling him some of it he told me he was going to look into it and call me right back. “That was three weeks ago” so I guess he was just calling me to say “ well I tried” DO NOT GO THERE go to one of the other dealerships
I had a very pleasurable experience. Trey Sumner was an AWESOME dealer. Id definitely let him sell me my next vehicle. Bruce worked miracles with the numbers to give me the best deal possible. Im very happy. I HAVE ZERO COMPLAINTS THUS FAR!!!!
Trey Sumner and Bruce Carraway went the extra mile to get me in a Jeep I liked but also could afford. They are awesome!! Thank you guys!!
It was incredible! I have bought several cars over the years. and this best experience ever! Told what I wanted, what I could afford, my trade was and no pressure.no hassle or high prices...the do give you better deal and what you want! And nice n polite...Go see them! Ask for Trinity.....
This place is very welcoming. And they make you feel very comfortable. I dealt with Rodney Battistella and he was the nicest car salesman I have ever met. Not too pushy and genuinely concerned about what I desired. I would recommend going here if you are in the market for a vehicle.
The salesman I dealt with was very professional. Didn’t pressure me to buy with him like most salesmen do. Through my : week process of searching for the truck I needed he stayed in contact which no other salesman did. I would highly recommend Lakeshore Chrysler to anyone looking to get great service with buying a vehicle.
Our salesman Percy was very good and had been very responsive to our requests. We bought a used truck for my son and he (Percy) has been working with us really well to get small dinngs and scratches fixed.
Purchased a 2013 Challenger. Within 10 months, the transmission began to give us trouble, so we took it in to claim the warranty. Big mistake. We brought the vehicle to the service department & demonstrated the problem. At least one person at that time said something was wrong & that it needed attention. We left it there & only received status updates if we actively called them. They will not call you back or update you on the status of your car. After 3 days, we went to check on the status in person. I spoke the mechanic. I really shouldnt say speak. He barely spoke. He only stated that the transmission was fine since the dash or computer didnt have an error message. He said because of this, theres nothing he can do. This translates into incompetency as he has to be told whats wrong to diagnose & fix it. Their mechanic cannot diagnose a problem!I took my vehicle back & am having to service it at another Chrysler dealership. I would rather drive to another location than take it here. They are unable to do the work they claim they can & will continually blame the owner. As others have said, their service department is horrible.Read through all of the other reviews. If you notice, theres a lot of 1 stars & 5 stars. This is usually the sign of a fraudulent or poorly run business. All 5 star ratings are from A Google User while most 1 star ratings are from real people.I cant think of a single reason to waste your time, money & sanity on this dealership & service department.
Just bought a 2016 Chevy Traverse 2 days ago from Dwayne and today it will not startI will check back tomorrow with reasons why...
Bought a gorgeous 3500 Dodge Ram truck from Lake shore Dodge, Frances was our saleslady, she is awesome, the sales floor needs to teach their parts and service dept how to treat people, ya walk in they ignore ya, like go away, I havent time for you, purchase something, no call no nothing when it comes in or hasnt come in. Lake shore Dodge folks needs to send in a secret shopper if you dont believe me, but have no reason to lie. So buying the vehicle was a great experience, Service and Parts dept....well, needs a lot of work on how to treat people........🌷🌷🌷.UPDATE🌷🌷🌷: Thank you Mr. Manager for being apologetic regarding the service dept. Front desk people, they could learn alot from you, hopefully they will. Thanks again
I have purchased 4 vehicles from these folks over the years. 2 new and 2 used. The sale process was always pleasant and without stress or intimidation.BUT if you buy from these folks be prepared to receive phone calls night and day to buy another car and return for service. Asking them to take you off their call list falls on deft ears. You will have to block their number.BUT the service department is the ABSOLUTE WORSE!3 hours for an oil change.71/2 hours for a 2 hour recall repair. They will not make appointments they tell you they open at 7:30AM and its first come first serve.Got their at 7:15AM. I was 2nd in line and watched at 7:30AM as their employees rushed through the gate to work. NO WAY they start at 7:30AM. I went in for a 2 hour recall repair and when I called at noon to see if my car was ready to pick up, they hadnt even started work on it. Got lied to by the Service Advisor that it was in work.3 hours later I called back and was told it was almost ready.Asked to speak with any supervisor on site that I was unhappy with their service and only the receptionist would talk with me. I bet if I asked to see someone to buy a car I would have had at least 5 sales people on hand. After 4 cars they LOST ME AS A FUTURE CUSTOMER!BUYER BEWARE!
I just purchased a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The salesman Grant was excellent, the sales manager was excellent. The radio was not working at the time so I brought it back on Friday to get repaired. After waiting almost 4 hours, the salesman told me that they fried all of the electronics in the jeep. They did give me a loaner to use but now Im worried I will have issues in the future. I asked for a different vehicle of equal value and they said no. I know its under warranty but I dont want the hassle in the future.
Baron was awesome. No BS. Straightforward trying to help attitude. Manager Timmy took care of us during negotiations. Dwayne in finance got us in and out without any trouble. Great group of people to deal with. Thanks guys. We will be back. Ps my daughter loves her jeep. 😎
John Meyer and Mike LaFerrara were wonderful! They made this the easiest transaction and took care of all of my needs. I will definitely purchase my next car from them. You can buy a car anywhere, but you cant get this level of service! Thank you both for all of your help!!
. I ha a great experience. Great sales people. My advice would be make this your first place to stop when looking for a car or truck. Then go look around i promise you will be back.
STAY AWAY from this Dealership. We received a lease quote from an out of state Dodge dealer but wanted to see if Lakeshore could match or beat the offer. They said they could and we sent the MSRP of the vehicles as well as terms of the lease. Went there today to sign the paperwork. I knew something was wrong when the showed us a 4 cylinder engine despite my making it clear we have a boat and need at least a 6 cylinder engine. We reminded them of this and went over the Grand Cherokee Laredo quote we had secured from the out if state vendor. Our sale person who was new had to repeatedly ask the manager for various approvals and cam back with a quote over 7600 more than we had. When we left the manger angrily told me, I said you could have any Cherokee Latitude you wanted. We wanted a Grand Cherokee. It is clear the same person has no say in what she was selling and the manager lacks the insight to realize that listening to the customer sells cars. Ive had 4 mpoars but will not be returning. The sales manager clearly list this deal.
We had a great no pressure experience there while purchasing a used car for our son recently. Alexis Cannon was our sales person and she was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I highly recommend Lakeshore in Slidell for anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
By far the best buying experience I’ve ever had. The finance department got me a better interest rate than any other dealer I’ve worked numbers with. I’d highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market.
Wonderful vehicle buying experience. From Sales to Delivery of vehicle was a very pleasant experience. The only disappointment was that my new vehicle was not detailed (inside) to my standards. But otherwise I highly recommend Lakeshore.
I had a wonderful experience purchasing my new Jeep Wrangler! Sales team member Alexis Cannon was very helpful and great to work with. If your looking to purchase a car I highly recommend her.
I am currently on my 3rd vehicle bought from Lakeshore. I purchased a Dodge Charger a few years ago with the help of Rodney Battistella. When it was time to switch vehicles I went back in April 2015 and traded the Charger in to purchase a Ram 1500, again with the help of Rodney. He is a great guy and was very easy to work with and ever willing to help make the deal right with the help of everyone else at Lakeshore. Seriously, if youre in the market for one of the vehicles they offer, stop in and ask for Rodney. You will definitely feel at ease and he will go above and beyond to help you out.
Thanks again Mr phil for helping me get my new car. I love my 2019 kia. A great sales man
Not sure about the sales department but service is a joke. Had my truck for 3 days, didnt even look at it. No calls to update status. Had to call 10 times to get a response. Then locked my truck in their lot over the weekend after I explicitly informed the service manager I needed it back. Find another dealer if you need Dodge service.
This was the third vehicle we’ve purchased from Lakeshore. Very comfortable with our entire buying and trade in experience! Recommend them highly!
Last August I purchased a 2011 Jeep Wrangler. I did not have an owners manual with it but the salesman, Trey, assured me he would send me on. I have talked to Trey several times and other people get blamed for me not receiving it yet, but he is working it. 2 weeks ago I get a call from someone about getting my Jeep services told them I live out of state but did ask about the manual, said he would take care of it. Jeep is missing other items that come with it and I’m glad I didn’t ask for those items. Sales was good but the follow up not so much.
Not a good experience at all. Thank God I have great insurance! Manager in the service department even tried blaming me for something they didn’t thoroughly check on my vehicle which caused it to be a total loss! I wouldn’t get service nor buy a car from these people. Honesty goes a long way & I can’t deal with people who are dishonest & try to cover up their dishonesty.
This is the first time I purchased a vehicle and did not feel pressured by the sales person. He was very professional and low stress Provided a very fair value for my trade. I shopped around and did not find another dealer that could even come close to the same price. Five stars and a double thumbs up.
Horrible Service Department... I purchased 2012 Dodge Journey and ever since I have been have electrical/computer issues. The car has been in for service numerous times and I am told its normal or we can not duplicate problem so we can not fix it I have provided videos proving the electrical/computer issues but yet the dealership can not fix. I have been going through the consumer reports reviews for the Dodge Journey and the reviews are horrific. I also noticed there are reviews from owners complaining of same issues I have. Since this is happening to so many Journeys why cant Dodge figure out these issues. I truly believe they just dont care, they got paid so who cares if this car kills its owner. I am contacting anyone that will listen for help. I have also contacted an attorney to see for the lemon law to get me out of this unsafe car. I am paying good money for a lemon........... WILL NEVER BUY DODGE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is my 4th car from Lakeshore, they always make the best deals of anyone. I went to other Jeep dealers before going back to Lakeshore. What a waste of time. Should have gone to Lakeshore from the start. I would definitely recommend Lakeshore to my family and friends.
Shady. I e-mailed about a vehicle. I recieved one response e-mail and replied trying to schedule an appointment. No one called or e-mailed back to confirm it. I drive all the way there to find out the car was sold. I look at a similar one that was there and had also seen online. It was listed as having 15K miles on it. I got in and the odometer said 16500. The salesman wasnt talkative and didnt know too much about the car. It was filthy inside and out. They had a sign in the back seat that I assume was once on the dash. There was fast food derbies in the car and it smelled rather odd. The windshield was cracked and when I took the car to 50mph the engine sounded bad. I asked the guy how a car with 15,000 miles on it in January can have 16,500 by May. He claimed that the secretaries sometimes take cars off the lot for errands or across town. The sales person said theyd replace the windshield and have the car detailed but refused to address my concern about the sound the engine made at higher speeds. No mention of any sort of inspection. My gut was screaming at me to get out, so I did and Im happy with that decision. Im not going to be pressured into a vehicle purchase. If you decide to take your chances purchasing a used car here, bring someone who knows a lot about cars and dont let them guilt you into buying something. Follow your gut. If its too good to be true, it probably is.
John Meyer is an excellent salesman. We showed up on a Saturday evening about an hour and a half before closing. Despite our late arrival, John didnt hesitate to show us several cars we were interested in: even took one car for two test drives. We left before closing (8PM on a Saturday) with the car we wanted: negotiation was easy and financing was effortless. We found a price point that both we and the dealership were agreeable with and the finance department had four finance options available in minutes. The detail shop was already gone for the day, so they gave us a free fill-up that evening and a rain-check for detailing and another full tank when our license plate comes in. The next week, the key fob quit working: John scheduled a replacement with the nearby manufacturers dealership at no cost to us. Will definitely stop here first when were looking for our next car.
Just got a Jeep Grand Cherokee from there. They were so helpful and attentive to what I wanted. Took great care of me. Definitely will recommend to anyone who needs a car. Im in love with my Jeep!
They was ok. They keep trying to give us something we didnt want. We ended up at another dealership
Absolutely the best car buying experience! Everyone was incredible and will continue to purchase from this dealer! Trey you are amazing! Thank you!
Best place to buy a Jeep or Dodge. Even if your credit score isnt excellent, they will work with u to give u the best deal. Thanks Frances!!!
Just had my oil changed this morning in my Ram 1500. As usual the guys in the service department were great, I was in and out in no time. I love this dealership.
They were good to work with when they were after your business, but not impressed after I bought from them. I wont be back to this dealership.
BAIT AMD SWITCH - Locked in price. If you read into the agreement, the only things that are considered check with the dealer because some options (meaning leather seats, power seats, etc.)May not be available. Printed Certificate is for 31,166 - when we got there vehicle was 52k. No way the price was a typo!VERY RUDE SALESMAN (Baron) and MANAGER (Chase Favre) whose picture is on the certificate.Lauren Wintzel called the next day and has not called back after we told her of our experience when we went to buy the truck.Watch out for their prices DEALERSHIP DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR ADVERTISEMENTS. Would not recommend this place at all
Took my Jeep Trailhawk here for a simple oil change and was talked into a tire rotation as well. When I got it back they failed to put the panel and cabin air filter cover back together (it was laying on the passenger floor). Noticed while cleaning out my vehicle that my Jeep tow kit was missing from the back. Called the dealership and spoke with the GM and he said he would review the cameras to see what may have happened. Received a call from the Service Manager the next morning and he basically said he had 2 mechanics working on my vehicle (for an oil change? Really? It takes 2?) and hes never had an issue with either of them. He apologized that my $150 tow kit was missing but said it didnt happen in his dealership. I told him that funny the kit was there before it went there and now its missing and the only time it was left unattended was at his dealership. He stated he would check the cameras and let me know. I told him well the GM was supposed to do that last night so what did he find? His only response was he would get back to me. Then i go out to get in my vehicle and notice a nice big fresh gouge had been taken out of one of my tires. But Im sure that didnt happen there either because hes never had an issue before. Well Lakeshore Dodge- part of my decision to purchase a new vehicle depends highly on the service department. So you can take that $60,000 truck we were discussing and shove it. I wouldnt buy a bottle of water from your dealership. Your service department cant be trusted and you stand behind the thieves that work for you.... I will spend my money elsewhere from now on and I will be sure to do BUTTLOADS of free advertising for you!
My salesperson (Mike) assured me that the deal would get done and he was right! I was able to purchase the vehicle I long wanted. If youre in the market for a Chrysler product then you should definitely give Lakeshore Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Slidell a visit.
EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE WITH NO FLUFF!!!I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I would definitely recommend this dealership for service and quality.
On Sunday our truck(2015 Dodge ram 2500)(not purchased here) decided to be a pain in the neck so being out of state we called Chrysler and they called a tow truck and towed us to the nearest dealership which was lakeshore.... Being Sunday our truck was left out front(only negative I have) u til they opened Monday morning... We arrived around 720 Monday morning met with Chris in the service dept got everything lined out about what was going on and what needed to happened.... I asked about a loaner due to my husband needing to get to work that night in Florida... They took us to enterprise and fixed us up... The staff were friendly and helpful and got our truck fixed the same day...
For all your services or sales needs.... go to Lakshore, they are the BEST!!! This place really make you feel like family. No pressure, no hassle, great, wholesome, down 2 earth group of people.
When I bought my new charger from them they took care of some of the issues I had with the car. Including some factory paint defects, and they even took care of a car rental. We had some go around with the notes, but in the end it was taken care of.One issue I did have was with the used cars department. My vehicle had under 75k on it, and he offered me an insulting amount. I literally almost walked out and didnt get the car because of that alone. Instead I simply said that I wasnt going to give the car away. He then proceeded to tell me that if I would try and sell it out right I would have to deal with people coming to look at it, drive it and the hassles of selling it. I responded by saying if you mention me trading my car in one more time Im walking out that door.
Best place hands down to get a vehicle. Very honest and nice sales consultants and a helpful Finacial department. They make sure to do everything they can so you can leave a happy costumer!
Good experience. We flew in from out of state to buy a car. There was some of confusion on some things, which is to be expected from being out of state but Lauren, Amy, Kyle, and Marty did everything they could to make things right and to make sure we were treated well! I recommend working with those four. In the future, if they have that special car we are looking for, we will be back!
One of the easiest car buying experiences of my life. No hassle, no pressure, just some honest conversation and a little paperwork. Will continue to utilize them for my auto needs.
I purchased a 2010 Dodge Journey from Lakeshore Chrysler Dodge Jeep in March of 2010. I was young, stupid, inexperienced with financing large purchases, and 9 months pregnant with my 1st baby. I wanted to get a car I could fit my kid in, and my husband and I had 2 vehicles (still paying on at the time) that we wanted to trade in for 1 vehicle and a lower note. Well, the salesman chose that opportunity to make some serious money! We traded in two vehicles (which they credited us more than we owed, so we were in the +), and put down $6k, plus had a $1.5k rebate. Sticker price on the Journey was $22k, so we should have only needed to finance around $15K ($22K-$6K cash -$1.5k= $14.5K). So, how did we finance $29K on a vehicle with a sticker price of $22K? Ill tell you how: manipulative and deceptive sales tactics, along with intentionally misleading us to believe we were paying sticker price. I know, I know...you should have read the contract, and I tried to, but the salesman kept spouting out other numbers, monthly payments, and explanations about the figures to the point I was so confused that I just assumed it was legit (like I said, young and dumb). They also had us sitting in an office for several hours (not exaggerating) and being 9 months pregnant, I pretty much would have signed anything to get out of there. Then when they finally got the contract together, they pressured us into signing quickly. So basically, on the contract it shows that they sold us the car for $34k, when sticker price was $22k. How is that even legal??? So now, 4 years later, never missed a single one of the $469 payments, and we still owe $12.5K. Makes me sick just thinking that someone could do that to a new family starting out, obviously on a budget and trying to bring down expenses! If I could give 0 stars, I would. (Lesson learned BTW.)
