The cleanest Dollar General I have ever shopped at. They do not have carts or anything of any kind blocking aisles and everything is stocked the majority of the time. The store is kept very clean and the employees are professional and nice.

This Dollar General located at 6638 Nieman in Shawnee is really nice! Its the best one Ive seen, kind of like a designer department store. I hear its called a concept store and is farely new. The new floor looks and feels good to walk on and the layout is super clean. The have lots of nice decorations, its hard to not grab something while shopping for necessities. Lol. Overall very impressed with this upscale Dollar General! They didnt have much cleaning supplies but we know that stuff hss been sparing these days this year...

Shop here alot. Good people and good prices. Checkout lines can be long.

Best dollar general in the area. you can tell the manager cares about her displays (she is so nice) and their facility is the cleanest and most organized by far.

It was nice to shop at this location because the store was huge compared to the locations I usually visit. The aisles were spacious, the store was clean and well stocked, employees were helpful & friendly. I have never seen any other location with ceiling fans, have you?

I shop here daily on my way to/from work. Unusually clean for a dollar general and the employees are nice. However, for the last 2 months their air conditioning system is not working. 90 degrees in the store.A few days ago as i was entering i found a 81 year old lady had shopped in there got so light-headed she fell off the curb outside and had split her head and broken her arm. Yesterday i was behind a lady returning a loaf of bread that was NOT expired, yet covered in mold because you cannot store perishables in 90 degree heat.Also careful, there is a pit in their parking lot that could swallow a volkswagon bug. WHOLE. This store is going to kill someone if it hasnt already.

This is by far the cleanest, nicest most organized Dollar General I have EVER been in! The manager was very pleasant and the store looked brand new! Every aisle I walked down was organized and tidy. I was pleasantly surprised!

Was a nice and clean store and staff was very help in giving directions to find what I need knowing they didnt have it. She didnt just leave me hanging like sorry we dont have it so figure it out...

Fair. Dollar Generals corrupt and I do worry about how they as a franchise approach things... but they have good prices when you need to be cheap. No shame in saying that. This location also has healthier options too (lots of things are not that healthy, but are way better alternatives when you want to eat cheaty and its nice theyre having kinda better options for things such as soap for a cheap price.) The location is also relatively clean.

I went to this location looking for brown skin hair care products and when I asked the raunchy looking employee up front if they sold any he replied “we’re not laid out for that” and tried to suggest we go to a different location. I have no idea what “we’re not laid out for that” means nor does it make sense because I have been to plenty of Dollar General locations that carry those types of products. This store also has a VERY strong gas smell that reaches you right as you walk through the door. In the end they will not be getting anymore of my business or money that’s for sure.

I love the store, and Im really happy with the variety of items in the store. However, recently Ive noticed that a lot of products are just as expensive (if not more so) then Wal-Mart. Things like febreze fabric spray, the little febreze car scent things, monster energy drinks, coffee creamer, frozen foods, etc. The whole point of the dollar store is to pay less money, so I would like to see a monitary decrease in some of the more popular items.

I went in due to boredom. The employee greeted me as she was disinfecting carts. She was awesome. This store is clean and well stocked. No TP or tissues left. No disinfectant sprays either.

Nicer store than the one down the street, but they will NOT allow anyone to use their restroom even though it is obvious where it is. Not cool.

I would say this is a good place to shop for bargains on relatively common household needs like soap, slippers, pans, toilet paper, candy, a few food items, a few cellphones, etc. These stores are not fancy but the prices are usually good.
