This is the most unprofessional run store in the world. Daughter had a tire going down and went there to have it repaired. Website said tire center opened at 7:00 am. Sign at doorway also said open at 7:00am. Arrived at 7:15, no lights on and doors locked. Also raining hard. Called main number, after 8 minutes someone answered to say tire center not open. First was told because of Covid. Told her that you were just open on Tuesday, then she said that they did not have enough people to open it. Simply amazing that a Multi Billion dollar company cannot hire competent people to work there. Good thing the Bonner Springs store was open with enough people to staff the tire center. They should take half their automotive group and send them to Shawnee.

Store is staffed by friendly and helpful employees. The only issue is some older infrastructure that they are actively improving. Will be 5 star once that work is completed.

Very clean store n great low prices. Fruits was all fresh n looking great. I got me 4 bunch of collar greens

Pharmacy is always fast and they have a very wide stock of items. I hardly ever see the shelves bare, except maybe 2020. Its been stocking up on a few items I normally only see at sprouts/natural grocieries.

We just moved to the area recently and took my son there to pick up some things for his bicycle. Upon parking I noticed two individuals passed out in their car with the car running. They looked almost unconscious and were clearly on heavy drugs. After walking in I notified the person at the door and he said he was aware of it and theyre there all the time. Well dont you think you should keep this behavior away from you establishment and keep your customers safe?!Be warned and we will never be returning to this location.

Every thing went smoothly. Jake was great help. I have an older car and talked things over completely and slowly. Ill be back again.

There were no scooters available for those with disabilities. I believe this is an ADA Violation. We went to Target, instead. They had plenty of nice, new scooters available and were a lot friendlier about my (invisible) illness and needing to use them.

A very walmart-y experience.It has all the hallmarks of your average walmart, so if your a weary traveler stocking up on things before heading back on the road, its pretty good. Its pretty packed later in the day and into the night so be careful when you go.

Clean. Actually had inventory to purchase! Employees are people who have work ethics; they ask if you need assistance and then help you. Imagine that! My new favorite shopping place to go.

Need more unsweet tea. There is always a ton of sweet tea but never any unsweet tea. Many of the employees act annoyed if you ask them about an items location. But there are still that are willing to go out of their way to help you and I appreciate that. Still gate the self checkout lanes and wish there were more cashiers.

This walmart has seen better days and isnt the cleanest one around. Nonetheless it does carry everything the other walmarts carry. If you want a better looking and cleaner walmart I would suggest the one off of K7 and Johnson Drive

Awful, just plain awful. Its just ridiculous they only have one checker to check you out and they expect you to spend your money there and check your own self out seriously! Im getting where I cant even stand going to Walmart!

Nice store!! 24 hrs. Remodeling and looks nice. I like this store better than others. Lots more stuff. Came here after getting my brother from work, we were looking for workout clothes. Got some weights too! Nice sporting stuff section.

This Walmart is simply ginormous! Youll find everything you need and stuff you didnt know you needed! Theres plenty of parking. Plenty of carts for use. Signage is clear and easy to read. Truly a one-stop-shop for most things in life. Convenient location too!

This place was clean and the people were friendly and very helpful no long lines for check outs

I love this store! Everyone is usually friendly the only thing that was a HUGE bummer was the fact that they didn’t have any black mulch left. But overall I love coming to this Walmart.

Pretty much like in other Walmart. Hand sanitizer stations are available and accessable.

Shelves were empty. No 6/12/24 packs of bottles of water. Small variety of soft drinks available. Store was busy and only self check out open. I already work 6 days a week, I dont go to the store to check myself out

I never thought Id find a Walmart as bad as the one in Paola and then we went to this Walmart. Very disorganized, no one would help and employees were rude.

Typical Wal-Mart. This one is cleaner than most and the shopping carts were being corralled as I walked in. Like most, checking out is a problem and social distancing is impossible. Updates to prevent unnecessary touching of the machines have not been completed as your still pressing buttons for charity, money back, etc.

I give this store 2 stars only because pricing and selection is good. However every time I go to this store I tell myself I’ll never return. Checking out is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.! I know Walmart does not need my measly hundred dollars or so to stay in business.......THIS STORE WILL NOT have anymore of my business. Check out with a live body is extremely slow, and very few open and I mean every time I went there and self checkout well lines are very long and I don’t feel I should feel forced into self checkout.

The prices are decent but they are consistently out of things and theyre not restocking many items for a very long time( could be due to the shortage etc). A lot of the employees arent very knowledgeable, helpful or friendly...some of them are but many are not.

Sometimes good sometimes bad.... But all in all its a good place to shop compared to most Wal-Mart. My kids work there & Walmart is GREAT on schedules. Best Walmart in the Metro.

Pretty good, large Walmart. Normally clean and well stocked. Have at least five or more electric scooters for those who need them and are conscious of keeping them ready for the users. Parking is ample but the lot is in rough condition.

It is so nice to see that Walmart its finally getting a Hart and letting disabled people work for them. I really enjoyed going through this one girls lane. She was so nice and polite and I noticed that she had a service dog behind the register with her its about freaking time that Walmart steps up and find good people that actually notice the customers and greet them not just tell him what they owe Walmart for their merchandise. For now on I well look for that girl and go through her line if shes not there I guess Ill just have to suffer and go through somebody elses line. Another thing they need to stop letting people bring their dogs in and put them in the carts we put our food in those carts.

There was a big fight in the self check area someone spilled a soda which was not cleaned up or blocked off even though there were at least 7 employees to busy caught up in the Drama at the moment..One employee mentioned that there were to many Karens 😳..I have never walked out of the Wal-Mart and thought wow I feel safe..

Grocery pickup has really gone downhill. A 12 hour delay is completely unacceptable. Dont order from here. Customer service only offers the solution to cancel the order. The cancelation still hasnt gone through. The issue was escalated to the store, yet the store never responded.

Enjoyed my shopping experience here. Staff was friendly and the store was well stocked. Will be back for another visit.

This location is more clean and more organized than any other Walmart supercenter in the metro. Staff was present on the floor, which is curiously hard to find at some retailers nowadays.**It is possible companies have cut payroll due to covid and the recent surge in competition with online shopping. In my opinion, their desire to save money by reducing staff headcount will only backfire as people, like myself, still shopping in stores still need assistance at times; and the single cashier hasnt the time to answer my questions while working the registers alone.**Be advised that information I notated between the asterisks is NOT observations found at this location. I only added this tidbit as a comparative to this location im reviewing and the other Walmarts in the metro.Overall, I am VERY pleased with this location and will now drive a few extra miles out of the way to shop here as opposed to the one nearest my residence.

The only thing I dont like is when they move stuff around and then I have to spend some time finding its new location haha. Ive met some very friendly and helpful staff while shopping here.

Unless you force interaction with workers, you will think you are invisible. They each seem overtaxed and overwhelmed but if you stop and ask them a question, most are quite friendly and helpful. Many items are in locked cases which I can understand but also expect to have keyed employees visibly ready to assist. I didnt get replacement automotive bulbs as all automotive staff seemed to be busy working with cars outside and I didnt have patience to wait another 20-25 min for one to come in after finishing working on one of the two cars being worked on so I went to get printer ink and an associate told me she was going to go get keys and walked into the storeroom but never saw her anymore. Thankfully another one ended up coming to assist another customer and helped me afterwards. Where this store really shines is their checkout that appears deceptively disorganized but is not at all. Associates there are very friendly, helpful, patient and proactive; that part of the process moves quickly and efficiently.

I just needed a couple of items and the store was on my way. In and out quickly. I will never be a fan of self check out!

Poorly stocked. No cashiers and not enough self check lanes. Dairy products seen lined up through cases but shelves bare. Few eggs in cases and what was there was broken all over the cases.I wish I had taken photos.

This place was terrible, I stopped coming here for a long time. I stopped by after a while and let me tell you, the lady who works Customer service, her name is Karen, she was absolutely wonderful! Its because of her that I started shopping here again, shes so sweet and kind and caring. My children always look for her when were there. I hope the company sees how amazing she is and treats her right because she most definitely is the only reason my family continues to bring business to this place. Thank you Karen!

We were in there yesterday afternoon and could not have had a more rude check out cashier. I cannot remember her name, I should have written it down and complained to the front desk. You say hello and she does not respond, just gives irritated looks, says nothing. I prefer to have a clerk check out instead of the self check out. The young man that was handling the lane next to her however, could not have been nicer. We should have never gotten in her line. Maybe this is why the self check out is something I should consider, but I would think that all of the employees would not want to be replaced by that. As a former Walmart employee, I worked at a Walmart many many years ago, I know that was not how we were trained to treat customers.

Clean Location, merchandise was easy to find. Check out was quick and easy as they had more cashiers in registers than I have seen at my local Wal-Mart.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in the evening hours. Employees talking about customers making fun of them. And when you ask for help you just get an “I can’t help you right now, I’m busy” from the employees.

The store looked mostly empty....self check out is never going on both sides. Frustrating considering how big the store is.
