We were out and about on Friday and we both thought of blind box for an early dinner but didn’t tell each other yet until we were driving nearby!! Melt in your mouth apple cobbler — tonight only!! Yum!! Burnt ends so tender, moist Chicken and fall off the bone ribs. Always have a take out box so much with a combo 1 and 2. Oh my! Super service from Justice outstanding quality serving. We got a carrot cupcake to go, also delicious! Thank you! Always will be back. !

I like Big Lots! I havent been in a while. Last time I went which was four days ago, they have more clothes to buy. And a nicer selection of clothing. Since the store layout has changed, I find it harder to find the things that I use to go automatically too. Like food and cleaning supplies. But I still think its a great store. Thanks!

Fun to shop, and very nice and helpful staff.

Store was clean, well organized and stocked. I was in the area to attend a graduation party and stop in. I had lived close to this Big Lots for many years and loved it. Got many good deals there back in the good old days. This time I was really not impressed with prices. Many of the items that I saw that I might have purchased were not really a bargain there.

Place has turned into a darn furniture store that sells random other things. But the furniture is nice so it gets 4 out of 5 stars from me!

I just had a return, in addition to a purchase today at Biglots & my cashier, Beverly who was also a store manager, was very unfriendly and unpleasant to me during my visit. To add insult to injury, she just called my cell phone in a very argumentative manner to confront me about the review that I left on the feedback survey (on the back of the receipt). I’m in shock and disbelief at this behavior, and I’m truly uncomfortable! I told her that the call was very inappropriate, and then I disconnected the call. I won’t be returning to that location anymore to say the least. I hope that she doesn’t to continue crossing boundaries, as it is very alarming and highly unprofessional.

Hadnt been to the Big Lots store in a while. The remodel looks very nice!!Associate Jasmine in furniture was very knowledgeable and helpful with my friends furniture questions.

You know how big lots is supposed to be kind of gross but you go there because it’s cheap? Yeah, they re-did this one and it’s actually really nice. I will go there when I need household items and it is a very pleasant experience.

I only went in for the as seen on tv, Door screen and couldnt help but look around at all the great things they have that you literally cant find anywhere else. Needless to say, I should have grabbed a cart or basket. Lol I got my door screenS $5.00 ea. & a few other things.. They were so helpful and nice, they actually waited for me to finish shopping before they started turning off lights. I closed the store down with them and another (Beautiful) shopper. LolThey didnt seem to mind at all and I dont want to forget to mention, they have moved EVERYTHING around and the store is So much cleaner and well organized compared to last year.So much more grocery items to choose from as well as Sales on furniture (50% off) and so many things 10-$15.00 cheaper than Walmart ( My other favorite place to shop). 👍 You just have to compare some items...Well done!!! This isn’t the best big lots I have been into in the KC market but they are at least improving the floor space and adding different items.

I used to love shopping here but I dont know if they have new staff or what, but they are rude and refuse to help.

I really like the staff here. But the set up of this store absolutely sucks. Its hard to maneuver around the skinny aisles. Seems like such a silly decision to change the floor plan so drastically just to have the furniture in the center of the store. & they dont carry any baby items any longer!! WTH?! But obviously i still go to the store because i like the prices, the cleanliness of the store & the friendliness of the staff.

I went there because they have a nicer one selection of headphones from good prices. I found some I like to. This store has a quirky selection of merchandise, food, paper products, garden equipment, cooking pan, furniture, electronics, etc... not much apparel. It tends toward the cheaper end of the product range, but the stuff I have bought there has been good, and for a very good price. Ill go back.

They are completely redesigning the layout of the store, so had to walk every isle to get familiar as to where everything was. Has a more open feel to it. Nice job ladies.

Imagine if the impulse purchase aisle at a Walmart were an entire store AND they sell furniture. Big Lots! Do I need a 2 pack of grill lighters, a telescoping fly swatter, and a dad hat? Yes. Yes I do.In all seriousness, though, this is the place to go for pillows, sheets, toiletries, etc. Also note that they sell Porq brand pork rinds and throw pillows are not sold separately from the couch.This location was empty on a Sunday.Covid19 Rating: The echo lets you know that they follow all social distancing guidelines.

Aisles too narrow. Check-out area very small. Not space to move to checkers if another register on use. Very little counter space. Store feels very closed in except for furniture area. Hard to socially distance.

There is nothing they dont have. Extremely nice furniture. Bed frames, mattresses, side tables, sectionals. Really high quality stuff. They have kitchen stuff, artwork, makeup, hair stuff, food, You name it, they have it. Highly recommend.

Best place for everything from tools to food. Help is excellent. Always courteous and obliging.

We went there at a time that happens once a year: 20% off everything day. It was amazing. The staff was kind and helpful.

One of the smaller Big Lots that Ive been in but it is clean, shelves are stocked ( except toilet paper) and they have furniture. Very convenient for my needs.

I have found the best sheets - Serta Cooling Sheet sets in all sizes & colors, I bought a King set for $23.00. They have indoor and outdoor furniture & decor very cute, reasonably priced. Staff has always been friendly and helpful.

This store is well worth the drive from MidTown KC. It is always clean, neat and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I love the prices. If you like Bobs Red Mill products, this is your place. You never know what wonderful things you will find. Highly recommend you check it out.

The staff is always friendly. They have a lot of great items for cheap. You can find items here a lot cheaper then regular stores like Wal-Mart. Would recommend visiting if you are just looking to browse around for good deals!

The one on Niemann in Shawnee is great! Good sales. Well stocked. The one on Warnal in KC MO is terrible. Looks like it is going out of business. Shelves are mostly empty. Nothing clearly marked. Unhelpful employees.

Its exactly what you think it would be. Barely discounted groceries; inexpensive off-brand paper goods; cheap electronic add ons; old dvd movies; cosmetics & bath products. And now, lots of cheap Xmas gifts to please everyone. If you cant find something to buy here, you arent trying hard enough!

This location was clean (unlike others I have been to) and well stocked. This location had a slightly smaller food section compared to others, but not bad.

If you havent checked it out lately I think youd be surprised. Quality items

I like this particular BIG LOTS !!! IT was well stocked well lit and clean. I have been to other BIG LOTS and really didnt care for them that much. This location made me a believer once again. The staff was very kind and helpful. Will be a repeat customer!!!

We have only been to Big Lots twice. First trip was to buy a couple of dresser drawers for our boys bedrooms. The second time we found a sofa for our basement family room. Each visit we received excellent service. Like we were the only customers in the store. The staff wrapped our items and helped load them in our truck. The dressers are a year old and the sofa 4 months now. They are well built and sturdy, which is required with 2 boys. And I dont feel the items were overpriced.

The Big Lots at Shawnee Mission was great. The on in Kansas City was rued and no help.

I was really surprised by the variety of things that can be found here. I went with a friend, who was looking for furniture, which never would have occured to me. I was pretty amazed by the variety of things that were available here. To be completely honest, the variety and quality of recliners, not to mention the price, blew my mind.

The place didnt look so good today. We have been there maybe thirty times. Shelves were a bit of a mess. We ended up not buying several things because they were not priced. Staff was nice.

I love Big lots, and a lot of spring /summer plaques & imitation greenery potted plants ate on clearance so even a BETTER deal than the already low prices 😄

I always find great deals here. They price match and have signs up showing how much youre saving over suggested retail. Overall a nice atmosphere with pleasant employees. I would recomend.

Horrible customer service I was very sad how Jeanne the cashier treated us.We asked her a question and She Answer me with a very rude voice saying” I Don’t know! look at the paper it’s right in front of you” (rolling her eyes at us). We thought maybe she was having a bad day so we let it go. We went to pay at the cashier and the scanner scanned the item 2 times. I asked her if she could take it off because she kept scanning things. Her answer “ yea I took it off already I know what am doing come down” to be honest big lots should not have that type of people working for them i love this Store but I’m not going to be coming to this one anymore.
