And make no mistake, they have no interest in selecting fresh, or even palatable food for you. If you are trying to stay safe during the pandemic by not shopping in busy grocery stores, rest assured Cub will be there to take advantage of you. The pic below was purchased just hours ago.

I do all my grocery shopping here. I could walk threw blindflolded and know where everything is!! The cashiers and stockers are always so nice also. I love Cub Foods.

I love my Cub but who is cutting the meat? Not appealing. What happened?

My husband went to get a money order from this place. he was giving our son a ride who also needed a money order. when they found out that both my husband and son needed money orders they refused to service my son. when my husband decided to approach a manager, the manager whos name is Scot was being really rude and didnt want to hear what my husband had to say, the lady behind the counter said that she couldnt service my son because my husband and son know each other. this establishment has made my family feel discriminated against and honestly l feel like they denied service to my husband and son simply because they are black. also the manger watched them walk back to our car and continued to point his finger and talk about my family to another co worker. I personally will not be spending any more money at this establishment and I advise other black people to avoid this store as well!

FAIL! NO DONUTS TODAY! THE ONE THING I NEEDED IN AN URGENT RUSH! Is this obviusly indicative of how the store is run all the time - almost certainly not. But considering this is my first (and likely last 😔) experience here I went with honesty.)

It’s an okay Cub foods, but I swear every time I go in there, like 5-10 people are not wearing mask! Get some better management!

They seem to never have the veggies i go in for, one time itll be cilantro, the next theyll be out of cucumber. Products are way over priced, and staff isnt very friendly. I prefer to bag my own groceries and once i did, 3 staff members came up to take over. Ill never forget the time i said paper bags and the checkout lady started putting some sort of meat in plastic, and i said just throw it in with the paper bag, and she hesitated - stating that the manager says to bag meats in plastic and shed get in trouble if she didnt - even though i asked her not to. Just let us bag our own damn groceries.

This store has very nice customer service and a very high quality products.Fresh quality veges and fruit.I will always shop here.The service is good and quick,nice selection of produce and very great prices.

I was in a hurry and needed to get home when there were three customers at each lane. Then I noticed that each teller had to completely wipe down every conveyer in between each person. I told the teller she didnt need to wipe it down for me and she told me I had to remove my groceries or she couldnt ring me up, so I left. Shopping down the road at Hi Vee now....

Some tool that works there doesnt care about my medical issues and kicked me out of the store for not having a mask

My review ONLY speaks of the floral department. Exceptional service with an exceptional floral lead. She has worked here for a long time - her creativity and skill is superb. I pass by tons of stores to specifically come here for the flowers. Any person I have ever brought flowers for have loved the floral arrangements made by Liliya.

Still my favorite Cub store but not happy with the remodel. Meat department looks barren and flat. Better than all the others thought at instocks, appearance and friendly staff. Love their markdown items in meat and grocery as they are not a corporate store.

5 stars as a former Union member this is a fablous store. I will contiune shopping here. The union is a great one being a member of it twice. You should be proud of your hard working union brothers and sisters in shakopee.

The store was overhauled and looks clean and neat. Cub has always been a good grocery store though I dont care to much for the deli meat. Their produce has improved and looks very neat and well stocked. They have almost everything you will need for most recipes.

I just bought a dozen long stem roses and when my wife unwrapped them 3/4 of the petals fell to the floor.

It is very close to my house. The selection of all items available is great. There is a car wash and gas station too.

I am 75 years old and use a walker to get around. I have a difficult time getting out in the winter, but I still enjoy store shopping. Today (12/29/19) I went to Cub pick up a couple things. I had planned to go earlier but the weather didnt cooperate. I had a store coupon for Kemps ice cream which had expired a day earlier. I asked the young lady checking me out if they would accept it a day late and she said no. This was a store coupon, not a manufactures coupon. It made $1.50 difference in the cost.My kids have told me to shop at HyVee just down the road. I have bee doing that. A much brighter and cleaner store with everyone very friendly. They have even done y shopping for me when I couldnt find items. Many more people working there, and they are always very friendly and helpful. And they never hassle you over a day old coupon.So my loyalty to Cub is over, Unfriendly, unhelpful employees. Sorry.

A great local grocery however they needed to update and add more cashiers. This place is always busy unless you go real late and then theres only 1 register open.. expect delays. Price is ok.

This place is and continues to be the place to shop for food products. Their prices match that of Walmart with 3x the quality. Ive consistently been impressed with their service and will continue shopping there for as long as theyre open.

Ive always liked Cub. Since their remodel though, produce has gone seriously downhill. Its hard to get fresh, undamaged produce here now. Seems to me their temperatures are off. Ive consistently gotten produce that has seemed to have frozen, thus wilted. The meat department has made great improvements though. Grilled up some of their prepattied burgers tonight. Delicious!

The manger Scott is very rude and can’t give you a straight answer because he sounds to be making it up as he’s going and to go with what he wants. Instead of what the actual store policy is. He needs to learn how to respect the customer instead of treating them like they are below him. I will never shop at cub in Shakopee ever again because of this situation. Most mangers would try and keep there customers unlike this one he doesn’t care. Saying he’s gonna call corporate on me well guess what Scott for your terrible management skills and rude way you want to talk to guests guess who’s getting corporate called on them. YOU! I recommend not shopping here if this is how there mangers are going to talk to you learn some respect!

Not helpful to have an ISIS looking man pretending he’s shopping and kept staring me and my son down at this location every time my son caught him he looking away quickly and started fidgeting I’m not surprised with this location and there was no manager to be found only a teenager working the cash register so I couldn’t report to anyone.. deff not coming back here ever again

Very well stocked cub. There seafood selection is wonderful. The staff is also very helpful when you cannot find something.

I went there to deposit a check at the in store TCF bank which is very convenient. While there I bought some bananas and navel oranges. The bananas were all green no big deal cause they will ripen in a sunny window but the oranges when I took them out of the bag had one very moldy rotten one inside. This to me is unacceptable. Sorry just my opinion.

Wish I could say more positive things about cub. They have a decent produce selection, but the ambiance of the grocery store needs major updating as well as better training in customer service from staff.

This Cub foods is right on the way to the cities and for some reason we have ended up stopping here numerous times to grab food as we go to relatives houses. Its in such a convenient location the staff is always nice and they have a wide variety of items.

Still good.. But Hyvee has taken alot of their business.

I was told that they dont accept out of state licenses for purchase of alcohol during night hours, pending manager approval. After inquiring further, it turned out that it was simply up to the manager. It was not based on any hour other than the managers shift. With this, the manager divulged that he was both unable and unwilling to verify any other license that was not from Minnesota. This tells me the manager was either too lazy to do their job, or not competent enough to verify a license, or entirely too paranoid that someone with a fake ID from Mississippi, living in Minnesota, wanted some weak beer. Barely competent AND paranoid? Now, thats a combination...On the plus side, they were selling alcohol and it was available for purchase to someone. Thats a bonus, I suppose.

This cub location has a great selection of items that should be found in any grocery store but most dont. Lots of great deals all the time, and with your cub card theres no more clipping coupons, because theyre already on the cub card!

Baked goods are frozen, then put out days later and sold as new. They have been doing this for years. Tired of the hard donuts, its unacceptable.

There is more than enough good things to say about this Shakopee Cub. Great customer service, a good deli, and if you are young enough, you can get a free cookie from the bakery. Unfortunately, I cannot get a free cookie because I have been diagnosed with the Carbonaro Effect, which is also the name of a hidden camera magic TV, like the one you are on right now.

Cub is a convenient place to shop but they have not kept up with the times and competition and lowered their prices to stay competitive.

Cub Foods is the perfect place for locals in Shakopee to purchase virtually any food item on their list. The store is not too big and yet it provides all the items desired. It is conveniently located in Shakopee as well.

The store itself isnt bad, but when seeking help was greeted, or rather ignored, by a very rude gentleman in frozen foods; left the store feeling crappy about the whole experience. He was rude, unhelpful, and had no interest in helping me whatsoever.

An average grocery store. Prices are somewhat higher than other stores and the place is poorly laid out, and outdated in design. Customer service at cub is so-so to not existent. Be prepared to bag your own groceries or be guilted to get cash back for whatever local group is bagging for tips. Honestly, I will be happy when Hyvee opens nearby.

Love, love, love the gluten free labeling on the shelves!! My daughter was recently diagnosed with celiac disease. As if shopping wasnt already a challenge! Had a horrible time trying to locate GF products at other stores! Thank you sooo much Cub for making this so much easier to find these specific products and cut my time spent shopping in half! I will drive out of my way to shop at your stores from now on! Always a great value and wonderful sales! Love my Cub❤

Great produce and delivery, and we always have good customer service. My biggest issue has always been the ridiculous prices. Now that Aldi, Walmart and others are in town, prices do seem to be leveling out a bit.

Been shopping at this location for 2 years now. The service is poor at best, the store regularly smells bad, and it is messy. In my opionion the older employees are lazy and far to secure in their positions, and it shows.

Really hit or miss. Some staff are super helpful and kind consistently (Kumi is great!). Other times, especially lately, I go into Cub and get the distinct impression that folks working would be happier if no one came in to buy groceries. Ive heard customers have to excuse themselves to get help while employees at the register are having a conversation and ignoring the growing line of people looking for service. Prices are above average for most things, and organization is hit or miss. Store is usually fairly clean, but other times the dust is noticable. Produce is usually good, but less so as of late. With stiff competition of Hyvee incoming, Cubs management should be stepping up their game. Instead I get the impression that they too see the competitive advantage gap and are getting ready to throw in the towel.

As a Shakopee native, Im excited for Hy-Vee to come to the surrounding area. Cub does little to improve the feel of the store. Its really starting to feel outdated.

Not as big as some Cub Foods, not as much help and dont carry as many options as other Cub Foods May. Prices are similar to other locations however, did not have a good experience with the delivery option at this location.
