Honestly hate going to this location. The employees are so rude. I started unloading my items and the cashier turned her light off and told me that the customer in front of me was doing a red card. Such terrible customer service…. I will not shop at this location anymore

Worst target I’ve been to. Employees (mostly teenagers) are selective with who they want to be nice to. They never know where anything is. They’d rather chitchat with their friends than help customers. I live in shakopee but would instead drive to other target just for the customer experience

Their online order/pick up is amazing. So prompt. Ive never been disappointed.

Worst target EVER, even Walmart in shakopee has fully stocked shelves and its huge. I like target but this one really is the worst Ive seen here in mn and Ive been to plenty of them

The employee who helped me with my return was very pleasant and polite.

This is for the Shakopee Target. I would say their shelves are at least 1/4 empty. We have to either go to multiple Targets to get what we need if we start at the Shakopee one. We order online most of the time and have to also go to Chaska, Eden Prairie, Savage and Apple Valley to get all the things in 1 order. I will from now on just go to Chaska.

Don’t come here/bring your family unless you wanna be verbally harassed in the parking lot by other customers. Never returning feels unsafe.

I go to Shakopee Target multiple times a week Helpful! The helpful staff is always kind and asks how they can help. I feel comfortable asking where to find something knowing that it is not a bother to the employees.

They were shutting down the pharmacy as i walked up and would not help me, said it would open back up in a half hour, i dont have time to wait a half hour, staff up so you dont have to shut down your pharmacy during lunch

Ive gone to the Shakopee, MN location twice now to do drive up pick up. I was amazed at how fast it went! They were literally already outside waiting for me and I hadnt even let them know I was there yet! Finding the products on line can be a little tricky and I think they could do a little improving to make that easier but otherwise I love the service!

Terrible management. kids openly stealing and running amuc thru the store with zero consequence. again, terrible management.

5 stars for that one lady at starbucks that makes the pink drink so good, she has short hair and glasses and heightly short. If i see she’s not there, i wont order starbucks but if see her working i do order

I dont know why we keep trying. This place ALWAYS has empty shelves. I thought maybe it was just some fluke, or temporary thing but nope, this place just cant stock correctly. Weve mentioned it, thought maybe it would get better after all the complaints but nope, still empty today.UPDATE 4.25.19: Wife goes in again today unfortunately (she works right across the street) to get gum. Want some gum? Too bad! Seriously I have so many bad things to say about this Target and Target in general.

Waste of gas, time, and patience to come here. I live right down the street and literally every time I come in they NEVER have what I need. Need basic essentials or groceries? Do your self a favor and go to any target except this one, even if it’s 20 minutes out of your way.

Bought a $750 TV believing that Target has good policy about returns or exchanges if there are any issues. Now 3 weeks later the TV has a vertical line on the middle of the screen that will not go away. Target claims the TV doesn’t match the receipt and will not exchange the TV. Do not trust target for any big purchases or electronics.

This was the worst shopping trip of my life. Not one helpful person in the entire store. Got completely ditched by two young men. Waited almost a half hour to get someone to help me find an item that said in stock on the app.

Some employees are wearing a chin shield mask that is wide open and pretty much just sprays all breathe up into the air. Completely useless mask with zero effectiveness. Not ok.

Very easy to do and worked great!! I work in technology so I am sure a lot of things had to be done to get this all working and it is amazing how easy this was to do and how well it worked. When this crisis is over I hope some of this remote access stuff continues to be done. Also I should add that I had difficulty getting my credit card setup and called the target number in the mentioned in the app and a REAL PERSON helped me out! How rare is that!

I didnt want to go into store for pickup. Drive up pickup is really awesome.

Change your hours online if you’re not going to be open when you say you are.I need jumper cables or my vehicle is going to get towed. They won’t let me purchase them because of the first hour being only for elderly. I asked for an exception in this one situation and they said, “unfortunately, no.” I wouldn’t have asked if I wasn’t in a pinch.On top of that, they are always out of stock of everything. This target in one of the most poorly managed that I have been to in the area.They could have said something like, “We’ll grab them for you and bring them to the front.” Literally anything. Covid has been an excuse for stores like this to give awful service. Take your business somewhere else

I love this target very much, and i often to go it because of the amazing workers and environment. i also go there because the starbucks is superb, despite a recent review mentioning “fruit flies,” which is not an actual issue. the workers there keep the place nice and clean and always work hard to make sure i have the best experience. they know me well and i am glad that i can experience it. i would like to personally thank each and every starbucks worker

This Target is better than some other ones I’ve been too. Sure they might not have had some name brand but I’ve never not had an employee at least explain an alternative to what I’m looking for or direct me on how to get in through them. They have a Starbucks but man... I avoid that like the plague, they have fruit flies everywhere.. ever notice the signs in that place or even the cases? I mean yikes, I wouldn’t want my food served there or my coffee served there like at all. This one also went through ANOTHER remodel and looks the same basically. Just things moved around and made me upset that I couldn’t exactly find what I was looking for. News flash, no one liked it. But the reason why I still give at least 4 stars is that everyone there is so helpful and so nice. Like I said, I’ve never had a problem trying to find stuff or asking for an alternative.

Great place for every day things. Good value on groceries. I just wish they didnt put everything thing you need on the other end of the store. I know they do it to make you pass and look at more items, but it still sucks. In market where online pick up is happening more and more you think retailers would see the value of making items more convenient to grab quickly and leave.

Why do people shop here? Everything food is overpriced a dollar at least, everything electronic is overpriced $20-$30, or more, and prescription medication is overpriced! And theres no deli!! Go to hy-vee for meds, and Wal-Mart for everything else!

Went to this Target to pick up an Instapot as they said it was in stock online at this store. I go to that aisle and dont see any on the shelf so I find an associate to see if they have any more. He is new so he goes and gets someone else to help him. She (the more experienced associate) looks and checks her computer, which says more in back. She whispers to him and then he turns me and says when it says more in back, it usually means they are out and didnt offer to go check. I thought about asking him or her to go check then said forget it and ordered it for the same price on Amazon. I get that more in back usually might mean you are out of stock but how about offering to go check quick. So instead Amazon (who I dont love) got my money because of that lack of customer service. Sorry Target but stories like these are why you lose. Do better or im going to continue to give my money to your competitors

Favorite Target to shop at. Very Clean and organized. Shopping in app and then finding it in store right were the app tells me, really helps to make my trips efficient and quick. All the employees are always cordial and helpful.

Small selection and always out of stock of half of my shopping list. Id recommend driving the extra time to the Savage location.

The Customer service we received in the electronics department setting up our Consumer Cellular phones was EXCELLENT! Tyler B. went above and beyond to make sure everything was transferred to our new phones and worked properly!

Normally I love target, but the last two trips they have sold expired food! First one was 6 months old and now a refrigerated time 10 days old. Do you not care about your customers?!?!? So fed up and sick of coming home to realize I can’t eat what I bought and I now I have to drive back..

It was great turnaround I ordered online at the store someone was there picking my order while I was still in the aisle.

Target has always been a good store to get a wide variety of items, many times cheaper or as inexpensive as other local stores with the same products. This Target is going through a marketplace remodel where they are getting a Starbucks instead of the normal popcorn, icees, and soda. Ice always had good service here when asking for help and the store always seems to be well stocked.

I used online ordering and it was great! Super easy to use and my in store time was minimal.

This target is never fully stocked and they have a very limited selection. I live in the area and come to it quite often. They need to improve their inventory management.

Date of Visit: 10/16/2018 - A slightly below average Target location. We were only greeted once by a sales associate who was stocking (asked us if we needed help finding anything); our cashier didnt even smile at us as we checked out with $50 worth of goods. Disappointing food section; I wish this location were a SuperTarget like the one in Savage.

Cant help but visit Target several times a week it seems like. Always find what i want and typically find it a challenge finding all the really really good clearance deals on end caps, its like an adult scavenger hunt that usually ends with me leaving with more than i planned. The store seems to always being updated which i appreciate very much. Thanks Target for always improving and investing in my shopping experiences!

Although Im not a fan of the layout of the store or the fact that it isnt, quite yet, a Super Target, I came to the store on a Wednesday evening to simply wander and relax a bit - I was out shopping minus two children - it was beautiful! The gal in housewares was extremely pleasant and helped me out in so many ways. She offered to take my basket to the counter so I could shop without the weight of the goods I had chosen to purchase, she sat with me and troubleshot the workings of a device I was hoping to purchase by saying Lets go through this together - I dont want you to purchase this, get it home and realize its not what you wanted or doesnt work exactly how you need it to. She offered up another worker in a nearby area and said, if you cant find me for future questions, find and hell be happy to help you too. I will be back, simply because of her service!

I love Target, but I would NOT recommend the Shakopee Mn location! I was followed through the store for almost the entire time I was in the store. Racial profiling at its truest!

Its the Holidays, my daughter asked Santa for 1 specific gift, the L.O.L Dollhouse Family +85 Surprises ($189.99). Well I had ordered it via Wal-marts website as the Shakopee location said they had 6 in stock - Next day I get a message that my order is delayed, I go into store, where *I* had to call their support line just to find out that I had to cancel the order and now need to wait 5 business days to get my money back for an item they lied about being there. Frustrated, I went to the Shakopee Target as their online site said they had 4 in stock, after searching the toy section for a bit, I walked to the Customer Service area and inquired about it, they were *SO* helpful up there! The young gentleman looked up the item via keywords as my phone had died and was able to see they did in fact have some in back, he made a call and they brought it up front for me. Best part, it was on sale! So instead of spending $190, I only spent $170 after taxes. From now on when it comes to ordering online and trusting In Stock status I will always go to Target. FYI their online stock updates everyday at 6am from what I was told, so if you check later in the day they may have sold some by the time you get there :) So just keep that in mind!

This target has really gone downhill since the remodel! Most of the time they are out of stock on half my shopping list. I’ll go back a week later and they are still out of stock of the same items.....It’s extremely frustrating!

I have been shopping at this Target since it opened its doors. It has gone so far downhill. The shelves are empty and they stock during the day so the aisles are always blocked. Many times I’ve been unable to get things that I wanted to purchase. I am to the point of driving to other Targets for a better shopping experience, this location is terrible.

The cashier I dealt with was rude and very aggravated. Ive never been treated the way I was by this cashier in all my life. I will never be coming back to this Target and am super disappointed that someone could be as rude as this person was.

All of the food shelves are always empty. Why bother having a grocery department if can’t keep the shelves stocked. It’s bad when this Target makes Walmart look good!!

The team at Target has been so helpful! When we go through checkout, they also keep my one year old son entertained with stickers, smiles, and joking antics.

This Target site has great staff and a decent layout. Their grocery offerings could be expanded and I really wish they would refrain from stocking shelves in the middle of the day. Recently the entire produce area was blocked off while they were stocking other shelves in the area.

I can always get in and out of here very quickly. And I can always find what Im looking for. I love Target!

Not a bad target. Clean, polite staff, and has a starbacuks. They do consistently struggle to keep products in stock, particularly food items. Funny fact, its like they have been out of stock of toaster studdles for years. Would recommend unless you are grocery shopping.

I dont need to hear employees yelling to one another what they do outside of work!! Makes me feel like I am at Wal-Mart.

I spent 2 hours in your store on Saturday and left with nothing. Because of the glitch in your system no one was able to check us out. The store employees told me that I could put the non-perishable items on hold at customer service and pick them up the next day. I left them with my name and all the items. I went in the next day and they had told me that they put all of my items back on the self. I tried to find everything that I had picked out but some of the items were no longer available (I had lost out on a couple of cool Fathers day gifts). I felt that none of the employees were trained to help any of the customers who were trying to pay for items at your store. They were clueless and standing around doing nothing.

I normally shop here as I live south of the cities. I did a drive up order as I didn’t have a ton of time to pick something up I needed. I ordered two and was brought out one. When I went back inside they said the back room employee SHOULD have canceled one of the items as they only had one available. They offered to return it but since it was a same day return due to their error they could only give me in store credit. They incorrectly factored tax in and I was given less than what the items costed. Overall horrible experience and feel Target needs to come up with a better solution to compensate guests for these experiences. Two stars because the guest services employee was nice and only doing his job bringing me the item, It was not his job to cancel the item.

I am ready to boycott this Target. I have zero issues with the staff. My infuriation stems from the amount of product they are consistently out of and never gets replaced. It does not feel like the customer’s needs are #1.

I love target but I just do order pick up at this location because walking around inside this target isnt enjoyable. Two carts dont even fit down the aisles to pass each other. It is small and cramped and wish it was a super target. 2021 edit- I do my target trips at chaska super target. that location is great!

I came in to pick up an online order. I was the only person and it still took them 12 minutes to give me my order. I then went to buy a cake and they barley had anything sweets. I guess its not a super target so I shouldnt expect much.

Went to Shakopee store to buy a 3D lite umbrella stroller. They had display one kept on aisle. To buy one, need to ask a team member. May be it was a Tuesday, waited for 10-15 mins got hold of one team member to bring a package (~10mins) but the one he took was damaged. By the time I recognized it he left. Then waited for another team member finally got one. He was in middle of picking some other order but was kind enough to offer help. He told to wait for 10 mins and brought a package in good condition. It took around 15 - 20 mins this time for second package. Anyway he apologized for the inconvenience.Overall I had to wait close to 1 hour to get a package which I could have shopped through Amazon and avoided all these wait times.

This target always has empty shelves. I thought it was just around the holiday, NOPE. Its been the last 6 months and still consistently empty and out of basic things. Also the bathrooms are always dirty ....beyond disgusting they are worse than a truck stop bathroom. I have also found expired food items frequently.I regret everytime I decided to go to this target (its closer to my home) vs driving further to a different target. when i go to other surroundings targets like chaska or savage/prior lake this never seems to be the problem. Shakopee target needs to get it together.

I bought a drink from Starbucks and there was definitely caramel in when I ordered a mocha java chip and she insisted there was not ..... save the argument and just left .... I’ll stay with Chaska target ....... they rock!
