I have been going to this pharmacy for years. I have noticed a decline in customer service and havent been able to get refills in a timely manner. Yesterday when I was there the pharmacist treated me poorly for no reason. I will be taking my and my families business elsewhere.
I’m not sure why they have such bad reviews but they are always much faster, cheaper and friendlier than the target, cvs or Walgreens pharmacies ive tried in shakopee . I’ve never had to wait more than 15 mins for a prescription . They have great text alerts . They work with pretty much any health insurance including Medical assistance. Out of pocket generic drug costs are lower than any other nearby pharmacy. Lastly I forgot to pickup a prescription several times and always get called to remind me it’s ready. I even once had them refill the same one three times and they were kind enough to refill it .Remember that a lot of the times it’s not the pharmacy that has issues with your prescription it’s usually an issue with your insurance or your clinic.
Absolutely one of the consistently poor customer svc experiences ever. Slow svc, no svc, indifferent and arrogant. pathetic
I have been coming to this Pharmacy for over 20 years. So long that I know who they are and they know who I am. Andrea has always given us exceptional service and has gone above and beyond to help us out and her co-workers who may be new. I have never had to wait long to receive my prescriptions, even when I come from the Urgent Care across the street. Their customer service is A-1. The pharmacist always goes over new medications with me if they are new. I cannot say enough good things about this pharmacy. I would never take my prescriptions elsewhere. Why? Because I have gotten to know people who work here and have never had any issues like other reviewers on here claim. I have never seen any of their staff be rude to any customers ever, so I dont believe some of these reviews on here. If someone is going to a lot of different pharmacies and still complaining about the employees (doing their due diligence) I think we can read between the lines that maybe they are the ones that are scamming and maybe they have a drug problem. Duh! They dont just hand out Opioids willy nilly anymore, so if they want to call and verify the validity of a prescription, kudos to them for doing their job.
No response on call in refills.....get out a 300 piece puzzle because they will literally leave you on hold for ever.
This Pharmacy and staff are amazing! If it were not for the Pharmacist, Brittney, working with me, I dont know what I would have done. She always goes out of her way to help me in anyway she can. I am saving hundreds on my prescriptions! Thank you Walmart Pharmacy!!!
These 1 star reviews make absolutely no sense. Ive been using this pharmacy exclusively for a few years now, and Ive never had any issues whatsoever. If your script isnt ready right away, just spend a few minutes in the store, and they will text you when its ready. Everyone is friendly, and they even remember me now when I come in. Also always accept my GoodRX coupons so I pay a fraction of the cost since I dont have insurance.
Go elsewhere! They filled my prescription with a differnt generic and never advised me. When I got home and opened the package and noticed, I thought I would give the drug a try. After 2 weeks I started having side effects I tried to return 3 unopened packages and was advised by a not so friendly employee (not even sure she looked up to see who was standing there) named Kerry that they do not return drugs but I could by 3 more months worth for $157.00. She also mentioned that the pharmacist went over the drug with me before I took it home (this did not happen).I am aware they can not return a drug, I know this is a federal law. But dont you think they could make some effort to help a customer whom they changed the drug on? Rather than be totally rude!I will be moving all my prescriptions even if it costs more elsewhere!
Wow! Talk about taking customer service to the next level. Best experience Ive ever had at a pharmacy. From the person who helped with my prescription drop off to the wonderful pharmacist who consulted me (whitney I think), all pharmacies should model this team. They were busier than any pharmacy ive been in, yet each one took the time to actually make eye contact and display a level of personalized care :). I will never go back to Walgreens or Hyvee.
When I had a problem finding a prescription I really needed and could not get my regular pharmacy top fill it they went above and beyond. The medication was scarce, especially for pharmacies not willing to use anything other than what they suggested did. Walmart pharmacy went outside the box and found them. Im truly grateful.
Guess they were too concerned with going to lunch than filling my 5yr old meds. They out me on hold for 5 minutes, then asked for my info and told me theres no record of it even though the doc faxed it over thirty minutes ago. And that they were going to lunch in two minutes so they couldnt help.
Called to see if meds were ready the person who answered the phone was very RUDE and acted like she could not get off the phone fast enough. The only reason I do any business with them is because it is the cheapest place to get my cats insulin.
Wow!!! Shakopee WalMart needs to open up their eyes and ears and rectify the prevalent and negative reviews of this pharmacy inside their store. The majority of the staff Ive encountered were service oriented but the head pharmacists are a different category.I dont like to believe in 2019 society still has intolerant people who are assumptive and prejudice but theres still so many in MN... Especially@ the pharmacy in Shakopee Walmart. These lead and asst pharmacists ladies are Haters and Discriminative and truly do not enjoy helping folks relieve their pains/ discomfort...They have given Me a hard time the last three times Ive picked up my medications from this pharmacy. They literally called my Board certified surgeon on all three occasions to confirm My prescriptions as if these documents are falsified and Im an opioids addict... I am a responsible adult who only takes a daily multivitamin and I only take prescribed meds when necessary. The last time I had meds to fill, My surgeon was in surgery and that delayed My pick up with this pharmacy cuz they had to talk to him... Not just his office staff to confirm the authenticity of My prescriptions but they had to verbally speak to him...Ive had the same surgeon for eleven years now and have filled meds@ WalMart pharmacies in Burnsville, Apple Valley, Eagan and Shakopee. Ive had an established patient history with WalMart pharmacies for many years so these ladies have a serious problem with specifically helping Me out. These gals are all white women so that speaks volumes to Me already...Out of all My experiences with WalMart pharmacies, Shakopee is the only place which has given me a hard time and refused to fill My prescribed meds...I was in on 7/19/19 to fill four prescriptions for my upcoming major surgery. Ive taken all four meds in the past with previous operations with no complications. I time My med intake accordingly and have had zero issues. Two meds were to be taken every four hours and the other two meds are to be taken every six hours.Kelley Belair refused to fill three of the four prescribed meds by My board certified surgeon... She literally was only filling One prescription...When I inquired with her why she refused to fill all the meds, she simply stated Im not jeopardizing my certification...No, simply put, she just refused to fill My meds because she didnt want to...Im certain My surgeon knows Best what to combine for Me since Ive been his patient since 2008 and he would never irresponsibly write meds for Me if I had a history of allergy/ abuse...So I then asked if this was WalMart pharmacy policy to refuse to fill meds or just her personal discretion to pick and choose who she fills prescribed medications to...She admitted it was solely her decision. She is so Wrong and Shes just a Hater... Shes proving shes as ignorant as white women come...Yall wont fill My four legitimate pain meds for a major surgery because you guys want to choose who to service and who to refuse service to... Haters!!!I took My four prescriptions to Sams Club next door and had the lead Pharmacist (very empathetic and friendly Caucasian Male) generously fill all four medications with no issues.I will continue to fill My prescriptions@ Sams Club Shakopee from now on so I can build a loyal and trusting relationship with the pharmacists who will not discriminate against Me by their voluntary choice.
Sat in line for 5 minutes with 4 employees all looked at me no one else in line and did nothing. Went to go get the rest of my stuff and came back and told me they were closing for lunch. Confronted the pharmacist and said I waited while everyone was doing nothing and she started to yell at me. Very rude and unprofessional. Everytime i go to this pharmacy she gets worse!
Love Wal-Mart
