The bad reviews on here are from the previous car shops that used to be at this location. However, Drive Appeal is amazing! I bought a beautiful used car from this location. The salesmen I worked with were polite and courteous. Joe runs the financials for the car shop and he got me an incredible rate for the financing on my car. I am so grateful I re-visited this location because Ive been here previously with some of the other car dealerships which was almost enough to make me avoid this place. It wouldve been a big mistake, I definitely recommend checking it out.

My first negative review was taken down because the dealer wouldnt stop calling asking us to take it down. I WILL NOT TAKE THIS ONE DOWN. 2 weeks ago my fiancee came in there to get another temporary reg tag but was told that the plates on the car were hers. Kinda funny they said that considering her plates just came in the mail. So this dealer has had her driving around with malicious plates for 2 weeks. Malicious plates are a felony. This is not the first time they lied to us and i doubt itll be the last. They lied about a broken door latch in which i almost fell out of the car while riding as a passenger. They charged top dollar for the car and then pushed the loan through at 23% when a few days later all hell broke loose with codes and warning lights and they still persist to this day. Yall think the world is lying but yet you guys are the biggest liars of them all. Call or text my fiancee or I one more time and watch what happens! Youre a dirty business and i pray to god your dealership fails, AGAIN.

DO NOT BUY your next car from Drive Appeal! Read all the reviews and you will see a disturbing pattern not unlike my own. The car seemed fine but warning lights came on before we got it home (we had been told this had already been fixed). We brought the car back and they took it to “their shop” to be repaired. We picked it up more than a week later and it failed again before we got to Chaska, 10 minutes away. It was gone again for another 2 weeks before finally getting fixed. Multiple other things were also wrong with the vehicle. Trunk latch, headlights, washer nozzles, convertible top sticking, and finally, the check engine light and Electron Stability Control warning (we had been told the car had gone through a thorough inspection (just like a Lexus dealer, he said), these things never should have been missed and all should have been taken care of by them before selling the car. When we finally got the car back they told me I had to pay the repair bill. The communication between their staff is horrible. I felt they lied to me. If not, they were, at the least, very deceptive. The manager was rude and could care less about you or apparently their own reputation. They talk a good talk but don’t be fooled! Don’t walk away from Drive Appeal Shakopee, RUN AWAY!

Amazing service, which was not the experience I have had at 2 of the other locations.  Tom Miles is an honest and personable man to work with. Even if you arent making a purchase same day. There was no frustrating pressure towards purchasing or making a decision.  I received valuable feedback, as well as a lot of new information about the car I was looking into and their business practices.

I would highly reccomend getting your next vehicle here. Tom Flood was very helpful and not pushy at all and Troy in the finance department was great at getting us to where we needed to be to make the purchase happen. We absolutely love our new car and will be back when we are ready for our next vehicle!

I recently purchased a truck from Gregg at the Shakopee location. He was incredibly helpful and went over and above to take the time to drive across town to bring the vehicle to me for a test drive! The loan process was a breeze and he found me a great rate. I will be looking Gregg at Drive Appeal up for any future vehicle needs.

So back in july i bought a truck, I had them look at 2 main things their mechanic failed to thoroughly check. 1st they said there was no issue with the steering its just an old truck. New sway bars, steering components, bushings, ujoints and more later.. 2nd, rear break rotor was hot on test drive. Their mechanic apparently said no issues. Turnes out the parking break was on grinding metal on metal. (All new breake calipers, lines, rotors, bearing, and seals that cost me.) Which further is leaving me to believe why my transfer case, front and rear pinions are now bad and needs to be replaced. In about 6 months of owning this truck. I have almost 20k into fixing it, all stemming from overlooked issues off the lot. I would definitely argue that break rotor cost me the drive train. 3rd issue was there was no air filter in the truck. They argued how do we know you didnt take it out, flip side it was the only vehicle on their lot that didnt have a new one standard to their maintenance. They said the best they would do is when the turbo failed i could have it repaird at their cost for parts/labor...

Very please and happy with this dealership, and especially our salesperson, Mike. We had found the exact vehicle we were looking for right after they posted it for sale, so we went up the next day (an hour drive) and ended up purchasing the vehicle. Mike was very easy to work with, and gave us a fair trade in value on the vehicle we were looking to get rid of. He also went above and beyond when we discovered that there was a very minor repair to be made. Mike made sure that would be taken care of at no extra charge, and even gave us a vehicle to drive while this work was being done. He also met up with us to deliver the vehicle back to us upon completion. Overall, we were more than pleased with his small dealership, and would definitely check them out again in the future when were car shopping again, as well as refer them to family and friends.

I purchased a Cadillac SRX and in about 2 weeks the engine completely died. While working with the finance team was pleasant I have zero faith in their ability to inspect vehicles or perform any maintenance.

I bought a truck from a/c motors Shakopee Minnesota in February of 2018 with 79000 miles and before the first oil change I had to replace the motor and even with the warranty I was still out of $ 1500.00 dollars. Next issue the ac stops working, more money out of pocket, next issue move south come to find out the truck bed needed replacing due to rust and now the cab floor is in need of repairs due to rust that wasn’t there or covered up at time of purchase and this sucks because I can’t get rid of it because it’s not worth much because of the rust THANKS AC MOTORS

Would not ever purchase a vehicle here again. We bought a Tahoe in March and were given paperwork showing that they did some work on it (oil change, brake pads, etc.) and that it checked out by their in house mechanics. So far we have put over $3k into it (auto ride suspension was completely shot, A/C had a major leak and didnt work at all, and some other stuff that Im not going to pretend to understand). Pretty sure they sold us the car knowing about these issues.

Dont buy any car from this dealership I bought a traverse and within a week had transmission issues, then within a day of getting it back had heater issues then a check engine light comes on car wont go over 30mph and they wouldnt even give me a loaner while they repair it at there facility stay clear of this dealership.

Talked to sales guy, told me to do an app. Another location calls me and I tell them Im working with another location. They said they will send a message to contact me. They don . I reach out, said he would see what he could get payments to be and never heard bac . Another week I check in and still nothing. That truck has almost been there with AC motors for 4-5 months. I wonder why? Horrible customer service. Obviously your sales people dont want to make money and referrals.

I had a horrible experience hereI was looking at a car here and i live an hour away so I called them about the car to tell them that I was interested in it. I was planning on coming to look at it today so I told then I was coming and i got up there and they said they sold it after they got off the phone with me. Was very mad that they couldnt contact me back and tell me that they sold it. The manger was along very rude didnt apologize or anything just gave us an attitude.. so I dont think I will ever be back.

Hi, I bought my first car at AC Motors and thanks to Nataly we went well, she was the one who guided us from the phone until we made the purchase ... I went for my second car and they told me that she will not be at the Dealer as usual and I think without it nothing will be the same, at least I or my family will not buy if she is not, she was very kind and accessible, I understand what there are more employees than she does the same job but it is not the same kindness or availability, in the end and without me wanting us Mr. Woolson and was lost so much was so he forgot that we filled an important document of the purchase and had to come to me every by ... In summary no one like Nataly !!!
