Apple Ford in Shakopee does a good job maintaining my vehicle. I would not take my Ford anywhere else, especially since I know that they are best equipped to service this brand of vehicle. The only negative is that they are normally very busy. Just a few years ago, I used to be first in line when going for oil change, and only needed to wait a few minutes for them to be finished. Now there is always a line, and it takes a few minutes just to get the mechanics attention to check my vehicle in. These days it is best to drop of the vehicle off in the morning and pick it up later. I suppose this is not Apple Fords fault, but something that can be improved in the future. Regardless of the wait time, it is good knowing that my vehicle is in good hands.

Took my f150 in to get an issue resolved.. They pulled my plugs telling me they were brand new when they have been in my truck for 100,000+ miles. Then put the same old plugs back in and charged me $250. Issues were never resolved. Went to a different shop and within 30 seconds of explaining the symptoms the tech knew exactly what was wrong. Nothing to do with plugs at all. Not coming back to apple Ford

Happy!I had Apple Ford do Lube, Oil and Filter plus 4-wheel tire rotation while I waited. Everything went perfectly. The advisor was super nice. The customer waiting area was well stocked with snacks and drinks. Even the cashier was super nice.All in all - a great experience and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Great showroom. Friendly staff. We didnt feel pressured while purchasing our vehicle. The sales staff were very helpful and welcoming while answering our many questions. The showroom clearly had pandemic precautions, while still enabling customers to feel welcome and comfortable.

Technically, my experience with Apple Ford Shakopee was excellent. They identified a fix for the two issues I had. Communication was great except that I had to call at the end of the day to find out when my truck was going to be completed, thinking it would be done in the same day. It would have been nice to have some warning earlier in the day to let me know I wouldnt have my vehicle until the next day.

I drive 16 miles, bypassing other dealerships on the way, because I’ve never had less than top notch service here. Nancy went out of her way to keep me posted on when the replacement parts would be available, reduced the price a bit due to having to make an extra trip, advised me on how else to save costs, and executed (at no charge) a 90 minute software update that hit at just the wrong time. The work also was completed faster than expected, and the free soft drinks were appreciated.

I cannot say enough good about Apple Ford Shakopee. The dealership went above and beyond in dealing with a real Lemon Law replacement vehicle for us. Was great working with the service department as we navigated the problems with a new 2020 Explorer that ended up being accepted for replacement by Ford Motor Company. Ryan, general manager at the dealership was fantastic to work with as well as the salesman, Mike Neises.They did what other dealerships would do and so much that they did not have to do to get things right. We now are driving and loving our 2021 Explorer.

My wife made an appointment to get the oil changed in our F-250 on June 22nd and when she returned from the appointment, I noticed a sizable oil spot on the driveway. After investigating, I noticed the oil filter was covered with oil and dripping. I tightened the filter and it appears to have corrected the problem. I reached out to the service department, but never received a response. Not looking for any compensation, but thought they should look at their quality control procedures. If this is how you treat returning customers, and want a 5-star rating, you are sorely mistaken.

I brought my car in for an oil change and it took one hour and ten minutes. My car was then moved forward and sat for another 20 minutes. I finally went out into the shop to ask when I was going to get my car. They told me to see Robert. I had no idea who Robert was so finally someone went looking for him. An hour and thirty minutes after I arrived I finally was able to leave. That is way way way way to long to get an oil change. Next time Ill look for somewhere that gets me in and out in 15 minutes.

Made an appointment for 9:30am to have service done. Oil change, fuel filter, transmission filter and radiator drain and fill. Told Neal I needed the shuttle to take me back to the RV park we were staying in as this was our only vehicle and we are traveling. No problems so far.At 5pm, I had not heard from Neal, or anyone else. I called and was put through to Neals voice-mail. Left message. Called back at 5:30 and asked for service. Was told Neal left for the day at 4:30. Asked about my truck. When checked on, I was told that it was in a mechanics bay that had gone home for the night and was as yet untouched and not on a lift.I had now lost an entire day and had nothing done. The quick oil change lane was able to change the oil and fuel filter in about a half hour. They did comp the oil change, which I appreciate. Spoke to the sales manager (only Mgr there at that time) and was assured the GM and/or service mgr would contact me the next day, as he was emailing them with the issue. No response from Neal the service writer, the service Mgr or the General Mgr.I see that there is no care at all given to customers, at least as far as service goes. Please think twice before taking your vehicle here. The lack of communication, care, professionalism, and follow-up is ridiculous. This company obviously does not care about their customers.

Great service at Apple Ford Shakopee! I was worried since it was my first time buying a car but had such a great experience! Chantel greeted my family and I right when we arrived and got us to the showroom and test drive right away. Gage did their best to work with my budget and was super patient and understanding. I just bought my 3rd Truck form Apple, and wouldnt want to go through anyone else! This time I ordered my truck during the chip shortage and through the whole experience Mike Neises (Salesman) kept me updated through the whole experience. Plus he was more then patient with me even when I got impatient when worrying about the time it may take due to chip issue. With the crazy times it was easy to be skeptical and assume the worst. But he was quick to get back to me with answers that I knew it would all work out. Took just over 3 month to receive truck and I know others that have been waiting over 5!Service has always been great. Traded in 2014 and they were the only ones to work on it. Never had a breakdown in the 5 years of owning with 145,000 miles on it. Just preventive maintenance and the team has always been honest. Will continue to do business with them and highly recommend them to any one looking!

I went to the quick lane for an oil change. I was greeted by Robert telling me about how I should pull my truck up further and how it will be a 2 hour wait for an oil change and a tire rotation. It seemed like he didnt even want me to be there with how much he was pushing that there was a wait. I sat inside, they finished my truck he came out to tell me I need to replace my air filter and my cabin air filter as well as my wiper blades. I just put motorcraft wiper blades on 2 weeks ago and now theyre telling me that theyre bad?!?!?!?!? I just did both filters and both of those are bad now too???? After 4.5k miles???? Seems like they just want a sale and are trying to take advantage of customers. I saw him sell filters that looked to be brand new to people while I was waiting. Unbelievable. This will be the last time I come here

Five star experience! I asked for pictures before I made the hour and a half drive. They delivered, talked to the sales guy (Steve), he gave me some great info about the truck I was looking at.My trade was not worth much, but they gave me as much as they could, seemed like a fair price. They even did the right thing by giving me a tire allowance. The tires were bad, so, they definitely helped me there as well.The finance department was excellent as well. We talked numbers, came to terms, and sealed the deal. They work hard to get you where you need to be, as well as keep the dealership open.I cant thank the crew at Apple Ford Shakopee enough for the great experience after the bad one I had at another dealership last weekend.If any of you at Apple Ford are reading this, you will be recommended by me, as a place to by a vehicle.The only thing that was odd, there are 3 Apple Autos dealerships in Shakopee. Make sure you know the dealership to go to. I was at the smaller shop next to the Jeep, Ram dealership next to highway 169. I managed to go to all 3 before i found the right one. All i could do is laugh. Sh!t happens.

I walked-in with no appointment and was greeted by a friendly sales person at the door. They asked what I was looking for and were more than happy to take me to walk the lot. Once we narrowed it down, they offered to pull the truck inside so we could look at it out of the weather. We took it for a test drive and then talked more. There was never a sense of pressure or urgency. I felt more like they cared about finding the right vehicle versus just making a sale. I told them I wanted to go to lunch and they offered to let me drive the truck by myself. I took them up on the offer and decided to purchase. The purchase process was quick and efficient. They detailed and fueled the truck while I signed paperwork. The whole process took maybe 20 minutes. More than one person was available to answer any questions I had. While they did bring out add-on purchases, when I said no, they accepted my answer and were very polite. Shortly after, they followed-up by phone with me about one item they were going to repair. It was a great experience and I will be back. They are clearly looking for long-term relationships with their customers which is great. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, they are worth visiting.

We worked with Mark Harmon on the purchase of a used Ford Explorer. He made the process easy with no pressure. We especially appreciated him letting us take the car to our personal mechanic for inspection. They made trading in an older vehicle an easy experience as well. Without hesitation, they set up an appointment to fix some cosmetic issues, which we will do next week. Personally, I have had numerous experiences at other car dealerships which has made me skeptical of returning to those businesses. I highly recommend Apple Ford of Shakopee. Its a great place to buy a car! But getting it serviced I always feel like they are looking for something wrong to charge me for. The morning I called to schedule a recall appointment, my engine light went on and I included this in my call to have it looked at while addressing the recall. The next day, the engine light went off and stayed off. When I brought my car in the following week for the appointment, I asked to remove the request to check the engine because the light went off and never came back on. The mechanic said he had seen this numerous times before and it was probably just from moisture in the gas tank. Good deal. No problem. When he called later about the repair, he wanted to charge me $411 for what caused the engine light to come on. I reminded him that when I dropped it off, I did not need that looked at after all since the light never came back on. Then he said he still needed to charge me a huge fee for the the evaluation. I reminded him again that I removed the request to service the car and only address the recall issue. He then remembered our earlier visit and did not charge me. However, I cant help but feel that every time I go in, they are going to find something to charge me for. My neighbor even said the same thing.

In my Ford Explorer I kept getting a message Key not found even though it was in my pocket. I have push start so dont need key in dash or column. I went on the WEB and it said to change the battery in the key fob, I changed it and I got the same message key not found. I called and got a appointment at my Ford dealer in Shakopee and dropped truck off and got ride back to Prior Lake. A little while later they Ryan (service adviser) called and said the truck was ready and they would come and get me. He went on to tell me they found the problem and had to change some things in the computer, he also said someone had put the battery in the key fob backwards. I cant imagen whom that was. He also told me there was NO CHARGE for the work, one does not here that very often!Thanks Apple Ford

I wanted to upgrade my 2016 Fusion for an SUV. Having previously purchased through the Apple Valley location, I am very happy theres an Apple Autos so close to where I live now. I walked in 40 minutes before closing time on Wednesday and met Chantel B., who exceeded my expectations. She took down what I wanted in an Escape and found me several to test drive at the AV location. She met me there and introduced me to my new car, which is an absolute gem. Walking through the trade-in process and discussing financing was easy. After completing the online finance application, the location found me a better deal than I was pre-approved for through my bank. During the signing process yesterday I met a finance manager and the location manager, who were very professional and kept me updated on where we were in the process. I also got snacks! I cant recommend this dealer enough. If you are looking for a Ford, check them out in the West Metro.

I wanted some service work and a tonneau cover completed on the same day. I first went to the service desk to set it up and was told the tonneau cover was a different dept and had to speak with a certain person in parts to order. That person was not in at the time but another Apple Ford employee was there who I wanted to speak to but was told he couldnt do it. I asked if I could call later but was told I had to come in. So I came in later that day and spoke to the person. Told him that I was bringing the vehicle in Friday for service and was working with Bryan, asked if he could work with Bryan to get it all done the same day. Said no problem. When I dropped off the keys to Bryan, I reminded him that on top of the service, I wanted the tonneau cover on. Day of service I received an email with the service appointment and the work being done, tonneau cover was not on the list. I called Bryan to remind him, he said it would be done. Came in to pick up the truck when it was complete and the tonneau cover was not on. I had to coordinate all of this with no less than 5 conversations with Apple Ford employees myself and it still didnt happen. Upon paying, I told the receptionist about all this and she couldnt have cared less. All she did was say Would you like to come in another day?. Nope, Apple Ford will not service my vehicle again. I spent way too much time trying to coordinate when these folks work in the same building and less than 100ft from one another only for it not to happen anyway. Went somewhere else and saved 20% for the exact same thing.

My salesperson, Stephen Runkel, was knowledgeable and excellent to work with. He answered all of my questions and was easy to talk to through the whole process. When I had a question about if a feature was on my new car, he went to the lot and took a picture of it to show me. Stephen went above and beyond the entire time. Apple Auto advertises that they are “hassle free” and from Stephen, I didn’t feel hassled at all. He was a very much a professional gentleman. Unfortunately, I can’t give the experience five stars because as great as the salesperson was the finance guy, Chris, was the exact opposite. Hassle all the way from him. He got very upset when I refused gap coverage or an extended warranty and made me watch and wait as he threw an adult temper tantrum. Later, he tried to add on a 300 dollar charge for my back brake light on top of my new car to blink four times without explaining that was in the final bill. When I called him out on it, he again got upset and blamed that expense on the salesman. I drove 150 miles to pick up my car and was there late at night, by myself on a very rainy day. In all, I got the car I wanted from an excellent salesman with a heart. Too bad the finance guy couldn’t take some lessons from the salesman on how to act.

Excellent service, people that I trust my car with. They’re not even the closest service center but I’m willing to drive there as I know the service is top notch. Despite being busy they get you done quickly and are quite flexible.

Great dealership, very easy to work with.

Probably one of the most unorganized places I’ve ever brought a car. I was bounced back and forth between employees there. Always seem to lose my profile. Get told a rental is ready next day which it wasn’t. Told to come back next week, which I did and they told me “we don’t have any record of a rental for you” I’ve wasted 4-5 weeks of getting told one thing and the complete opposite happens. Makes me wish I didn’t have a Ford vehicle. Honestly I won’t be doing business there ever again and will shop other vehicle dealerships. That Ford dealership is a joke.

Good service and low pressure from the guy I worked with. Bought the car in the picture. We live on a dirt road so never mind the dirt. Good car.

I was here at 7:00 am to get an oil change and a tire rotation and it took over an hour and a half. Ive never had an oil change and tire rotation take even close to this long. When I arrived, a Ford employee told me it would be less than an hour. I am hoping that in the future it doesnt take this long, otherwise I will have to get my car serviced somewhere else.

I had a wonderful experience with Apple Ford Shakopee. Mike N. was great to work with - he was very honest, knowledgeable and to the point. I didnt feel pressured or feel that I was being rushed. My questions were answered quickly and correctly, I was allowed to test drive the vehicle twice so I could be sure of my decision and I really enjoyed the overall experience. I was also in contact with Mike M. who was great to work with as well. I would highly recommend Apple Ford Shakopee and the two Mikes!

Planned to use Apple dodge next door for my chrysler van.. They couldnt do it that evening but Apple Ford came through with flying colors like they always have on my Ford. Will always use them from now on. It is a 50 minute drive to get there but worth it. Thanks for great service!

Great place to buy a car, great service but of course impacted by Covid restrictions. Not able to give a handshake after closing the transaction feels awkward. Having Spanish speaking sales representatives feels welcoming. I would suggest adding USB chargers if possible to tables. As the purchase goes, they do not negotiate price but you can negotiate trade-in still not getting what the car is worth. For finance, please check with other financial institutions before accepting the rate and payment offered for in-house services. If you need a great salesperson, ask for Veronica.
