This is a gem of a mechanic! We are new to Severn and are lucky that this shop is 1 minute away from our house because the service is top notch. My husbands car had the check engine light on and had been out of commission for a while because we had to get it towed to a mechanic to get fixed. We made the right move towing it to JRM because they fixed the electrical issue (blown fuse) the same day we brought it it in! Incredible customer service, affordable prices, and quality work- what more could you ask for in a mechanic? We will be taking our cars here exclusively for work and upkeep moving forward!

They are so affordable. I just changed my oil and a wiper blade there for 130.00. Last year thr oil change alone at another place was 180.00.

My daughters car alternator needed replaced and ODonnell Honda wanted $800 to replace it. I called another automotive repair shop and asked for a quote and they said they couldnt get me in until the first week in May and they would call me back with the estimate... they never did. I called JRM Automotive and asked for an estimate and their price was $500 out the door. The amazing part was that I called mid afternoon on Saturday and they said if I could drop it off soon they would get it replaced and back to me the same day. About two or three hours after I dropped the car off they called and told me the car was ready.What else can I say? They charged me a fair price and took care of me with in hours.

Aubrey and Mike......the owners and staff are a class act. They make it happen with no excuses and quality work. This is my new shop when I dont have time to address or do things myself.They have mounted tires and installed my Circle D 3200 billet stall converter. Yes, thats the performance side of the house and they nailed it.Customer service is truly the forefront of their business and excel at it. I called on Monday morning about an oil leak. They took me in the same day and fixed the problem within 2 hours free of charge.

I brought my truck here for the Maryland state inspection and was very impressed with the service, fast turn around and very friendly staff ! Its nice to have found a garage so close to home that you can trust and rely on.

Really impressed with the service I received here. Called in the morning with an AC issue and was able to get my car back and fixed that same day. Kind and honest people working here with reasonable pricing. They’re always prompt in answering the phone, and they were patient with me when I needed some things repeated.

Very professional and quick to have my vehicle ready. I would have given five stars but the unfriendly female in the office is definitely a big deterrent for me.

An honest repair shop. Brought my van there with a list of work that was needed, according to a national auto repair chain, and JRM told me most of that work was unnecessary. I drove away for a fraction of the cost. Brought my other vehicle there too even though its quite a distance away.

I was nowhere near close to home when I had car trouble. Luckily JRM was 2 blocks away from where it happened. It turned out to be major but I was told they could have it fixed by 5 pm. I chose instead to leave it overnight because I had to inconvenience a friend to pick me up and take me back. They called the next morning to tell me my car was ready. When I got there the bill was exactly as quoted. Ive been to other mechanics who give you a price but when you go to pay, the cost is higher. Not this place. Im very satisfied with their work and recommend JRM to anybody looking for an honest, professional mechanic. Even though its out of my way, I will definitely consider returning for routine maintenance.

They are my go-to mechanic now for both our cars. They have pretty good availability and havent tried to upsell me much, which is a big plus in my book. The work Aubrey and his techs have done is reliable and the prices have been reasonable. I didnt bother to look further once I found them because they get the job done right. Such a relief to find a good mechanic.

If youre looking for an honest mechanic, this is the place. I received great customer service from start to finish. From the receptionist to Aubrey, the owner. He did my re-inspection for FREE and had me out within 15 minutes.I plan on bringing my car here from now on for servicing. Will update if anything changes.

I’ve been a loyal customer of JRM Automotive largely because of Aubrey, Mike and their team has always been me a sense of complete honesty, fairness($$) and professionalism. I’ve been a customer for years and now I live in Haymarket, VA, I still take the 1 hr 15 min drive for something as simple as an oil change. I simply do not trust anyone under my hood other than these guys. Great work, quick, and a very good price. Could have charged me a lot and used cheap parts, but instead they got a OEM part and gave me an extremely fair price. Needless to say their business card is in my glove box for my next trip to the shop. Couldnt suggest another place for repairs in the area more.

Came in for an illuminated brake light on Thursday night, car was done the next day. Service was fully communicated ahead of time and there was no surprises at the register as a result. Workmanship was fantastic. Couldnt be happier. Thank you JRM.

JRM Is My Go-to Shop. Ive had 3 vehicles serviced at JRM, recently. Had a check engine light on my Yaris and JRM replaced one of the O2 sensors and cleaned the MAF sensor. While they were at it, they fixed a really bad rattle in my front end. I had gotten used to that and never realized how nice it was to have a quiet, smooth driving car.They also fixed a heat shield rattle and vibrating steering wheel on my Tundra. I ended up needing new tires, but figured that was the case since I bought the truck used and it looked like it had been on the lot a long time. Love my new tires and the smooth, quiet ride now.Got the summer tires installed on my wifes Mustang. They took good care of her baby. She has more horsepower in her car than all 3 of mine combined.JRM has always taken great care of my vehicles and serviced them at a very reasonable cost, as well as quickly. I think theyre very honest and not the type of shop that tries to sell you unneeded, new parts, like cleaning my MAF instead of replacing it. They are always extremely polite and customer service focused. They also communicate very well and you can tell they are always willing to take the time needed to respond, answer questions, and address any concerns.Thanks again, JRM.

They were able to repair our brakes in two days.

I called prior to dropping my car off the next day, and was told it would be ready by noon. Customer service was extremely poor, and by 1pm when I hadn’t heard from them I went back. The cashier again looked as if I was bothering her or was out of place for asking about my car. She begrudgingly left and asked the owner the status of my car, she returned saying he’d get to it around 2:30 or 3pm. I asked for my paperwork back and she was again extremely rude. I left and took my car. I’ll never return here again, even though it’s literally around the corner from my house.

Extremely rude receptionist. I called over there to answer a question and she kept saying her name. When I said that was strange she tried telling me she said something else. And I was like that’s not what I heard and then she starting to get rude and saying mechanics aren’t working on Sunday. If this is how their customer service says I will not be going with them come monday.
