Mark was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. They have tons of lights in all price ranges, but Id say mostly mid-range. Table Lamps, sconces, pendants, vanities, chandeliers, etc.. even door knows, handles, hardware, etc.. Large clearance section, as well as a clearance store down south where their order pick up is.

Great selection, but Amys help was priceless! She took our ideas and looked on their website and in their catalog for options that would work us. When we left with our order, we felt like we had a new best friend. Thank you, Amy and Seattle Lighting - you are awesome!

We stopped by to inquire about the flood light trims and got some really valuable lesson on lighting. Mark was extremely helpful and we got really useful advice on pros and cons of reflector and lighting needs.

Lots of selections and most importantly a really friendly and helpful staff. We bought this last time a few outdoor lights, and they had the ready for us in 2 or 3 days.

Cute things just not as much of a unique selection as one might expect.

I would highly recommend their services to anyone wanting to update their lighting. We recently purchased a 1937 home that needed a more coherent and modern lighting plan. We arranged for one of their design specialists to visit our home and come up with a plan. Stefanie was very helpful and provided sound ideas about where to spend more AND less. We then visited the showroom to see some of the options in person. The design service fee gets credited back to purchases and they have a range of products at every price point. This is a Seattle institution for good reason. Go there with confidence!

Not the cheapest place around but they have some really nice lighting. much better selection and quality than a home improvement store. it can take a while to talk to an associate if its busy so be prepared to wait. but staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff within this store is very knowledgeable and kind. They work to the best of their abilities to meet customer demands. I come here from time to time to look at their product, to which they have quite a selection. They are able to special order some things as well.

Great service huge selection. Wanted to replace halogen with LED bulbs in several ‘cans’ and for a lesson in how this was not possible.Halogen and traditional incandescent bulbs emit light from all directions. led are flat and straight so they won’t illuminate a globe for a light or fixture just shoot light straight down.We investigated several options but the only way this would work was to replace the fixtures-not practical.Very helpful & patient for helping someone decide they didn’t want to make a purchase. The place has been around since Al Gore invented the internet (and the light bulb, too I bet) hope they make it another hundred years!

Great selection of lighting for any and all needs. Most items will need to be picked up from their warehouse in Sodo, which is closed on Sundays. Their warehouse has lots of clearance items and is fun to look around for a bargain.

A lot of interesting and beautiful lighting options. Prices seem to be industry standard. I walked by two different employees, neither asked if I needed help or offered a hello. I even made a point of slowing down and looking at a light (that I was genuinely interested in) in front of an employee to see if she would acknowledge my interest/existence. Nope. Not so much. Might be interested in making some purchases for our new home because of the interesting inventory, but certainly not for customer service.

Seattle Lighting knows lightning. I have been shopping here for 20 years.

Extremely poor customer service and lack of product knowledge and dont know how to use their own systems to expedite delivery. Dealt with 2 separate people over 3 weeks both failed to deliver. AFTER I paid (nearly $1,000) for multiple products with 2 different vendors, I had only 5 of the 9 parts delivered to their nearest store. The first person didnt know the range, promised to call back and didnt, i asked to talk with the product after a week still no call. I called the supplier help desk and found that the ONLY thing she ordered correctly was the tape lights. After 2 weeks I went back to the store and dealt with someone else (Assistant Manager) who also promised to call and didnt.I found the products cheaper on Amazon and could be delivered in 3 days, save yourselves some time, do your own research and purchase from someone that will actually deliver service ... and product to your doorstep. I may go back in there, but will never purchase from them again.

The Seattle location has numerous employees who were each very helpful and patient. I needed help with many areas of our home and got great service over the phone trying to investigate the best light fixture replacement, and determine a good ceiling fan. Retrieving old invoices was also a nice benefit and pricing was fair. I was very impressed, and, appreciated the free parking available.

All kinds of very cool lighting fixtures and the floor people are very knowledgeable.

I have worked with Seattle lighting for the last five years and have always been impressed with the quality and customer service. They are more expensive than Home Depot and Lowes but rightfully so, you get what you pay for. I also feel better supporting a successful local company.

This place has an awesome selection of lighting that you will not find anywhere else because they design a lot of it themselves. They can get any other name brand stuff for you at good prices. It may take a trip to their huge distribution center for pickup but it is close by in SODO.

I had great experience with personnel each of the 3 times I visited two different location stores. All seemed knowledgeable about their products. One time had to wait a bit, but not too long. Keep in mind that their stores are show rooms and you might need to come back get the actual products. Keep in mind, online orders over $50 is free shipping.

They seem to have a great selection. The prices seem to be a little high. Service is very hard to get.

Huge collection of lights and fixtures for home and design work

All the little details - the extras* I posted a bunch of photos some of them are quite amusing. More importantly the staff was super friendly its a lot of my questions as a photographer dealing with LED lights is a unique challenge and was really cool to come in there and actually test the camera on some of their lights is Super helpful ♡

There probably is something for everyone here, and its totally reasonably priced. Why ever get a lamp or light from Ikea again? Some nice modern LED lights, some garish modern stuff and a ton of that 90s faux gothic chandelier type stuff. Some smart home devices too like doorbell cameras n stuff.
