If these arent the best cookies I cant remember which ones are! Lowrider makes the best. The street front shop smells about as perfect as a bakery can which is about how well the cookies taste. The chocolate chips taste like the best desert you could have asked for. Park in the neighborhood and walk over but wear stretchy pants.

Yes, yes, one thousand times YES. I think I’ve finally found Seattle’s holy grail of cookies. These are perfect—thick, chewy, fresh. Compared to other cookie spots and bakeries, I didn’t think they were too outrageously priced, either. My boyfriend is about to move right across the street from this spot and I’m terrified for my waistline. I judge a cookie spot the most by it’s classic chocolate chip cookie, and this one was a winner. Get them all—nothing disappoints. Such a cute little store too!

And, finally.... I made it! This has been my third time planning to procure cookies from this joint- first time executing the plan. Let me start by saying, although Im very well-traveled, my roots are that of a gal from rural Missouri. Kansas City is a big city, but its definitely no Seattle. Seattle is like Houston in that sense; there is Houston, but it never really ends for a at least a two hour radius from every angle of the actual city limits because there are a thousand subcities. Insane traffic and discourteous drivers that would literally rather run you off the road or into another vehicle than let you over. The husband was having shoulder surgery this day. Hed expressed a desire for some cookies after surgery, and knowing that I wouldnt have time to bake any cookies that day, or even the next, welcomed the perfect reason to make the jaunt across town from the hotel on the way to pick up my husband. What human wouldnt adore being swooped up and welcomed with cookies and milk for those post-op?Picture it: me, driving my husbands 3500 dually through the heart of downtown Seattle, completely unfamiliar with the area which wouldnt be a big deal- had I not been driving a pickup the width and length of a moving truck. The plan had started simple enough. Id placed and paid for my order online, had planned to check out of our hotel an hour early to allow myself the extra time to pick up my order. Things went south quick. My baby had digestive upset and had numerous accidents that delayed our departure time. There was also a forgotten stroller and a length hike to our parking lot involved. While trekking across town to get to Lowrider, I received a call that my husband was ready to be picked up earlier than expected. The heat was really on then, and I was too far to turn back. Added bonus: the power steering went out due to a leak in a line of something or other during this same drive, so I was having to navigate the steering wheel pretty much using my entire bodily force. I get within a quarter mile of the store and start scoping out potential parking spots. Its horrible. REALLY horrible. Especially given that I cant parallel park even in our Sorento. At any rate, its slim pickins. I finally find a spot. I saw other vehicles parked in identical parking spots, but I still question the legalities of it. I put together the stroller and load my babe up fast as I can, then jog up the street to the shop- only to be cut by some douche canoe that jumped in front of me while I was standing in line because he was just picking up an order and was double parked.... assuming I wasnt for some reason (even though I informed him otherwise). Neither here nor there, I wasnt going to go down that road. Nope, not that day Satan! We finally make it to the counter and get our order! The gal that worked there was really sweet, made sure we had everything we needed to transport a fairly large order via stroller back to our vehicle. So, I jog us back to the truck, load baby, break down stroller, and head out for my next destination which another 15 mins to another part of town to pick up my husband. That drive was every bit as SUPER awesome as the first. There were all the unpleasant elements at play here: anxiety, sweating, frantic rushing, ridiculous situations, panic, obscene traffic, insanely small spaces of all kinds, car trouble. You may wonder why Ive included this dissertation of seemingly unrelated personal details in this experience. Its simply this: it was worth it. So worth it. Those cookies were the best Ive ever had, and Ill probably never stop thinking about them when I want cookies. 🤣 Absolute perfection. We had the oatmeal cream pie, cookies and cream, salted caramel pecan, chocolate chip, apple oatmeal, pumpkin maple, and smores. The salted caramel was my favorite. Thats not to say the other flavors were lacking in the least. I would do it all over again. Until next time my next cheat item in Seattle.

It took three attempts to try this place (note to self: check Google Maps for the hours), but it was worth the wait. They have a small selection of cookies, but choosing one flavor seems impossible because theyre all mouth-watering in appearance. The Cookies & Cream was one of the best cookies Ive had in a loooooong time. Lemon Cranberry is good, but easily overshadowed by the other. Definitely will be back!!

Cookies are flat-out amazing. The reason I give them 4-stars has to do with my bias as a former small business owner, it was a flower shop that lasted 40 years. Product notwithstanding, its the experience customers have that builds loyalty. Im currently on crutches due to a foot injury so this wouldnt typically be an issue. And I know, more than most, how difficult things can be for employees of a small business. That said, if theres an elderly customer or someone on crutches dont ask if they need help, assist them to their car. I dont want the employees to be reprimanded, but reminded that simple gestures go a long way and at the end of the day they make you better as a person. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.P.S. everyone at work loved the cookies and I recommended they check the menu and support small business as much as possible. I, too, will continue to support this business when I am able.

I’ve been a big fan of Lowrider since I stumbled upon them randomly in Georgetown and it’s been a lot of fun to watch them grow and hit their stride over the years. I love the variety of seasonal and specialty cookies - there’s always something new and delicious to discover! My only disappointment is that they switched over to ring molds for their cookies. I can absolutely understand it for a stuffed cookie or a cookie cake, and I know, I know.. they probably stack (and ship) really well and it’s a way to save money and decrease waste.. but I really really miss the texture and more “rustic” nature of their OG hand-scooped cookies. Nonetheless, I will continue to support this small business and enjoy the creative recipes and friendly faces whenever I’m in the neighborhood!

This place specializes in cookies, but not the size you think of, their cookies are thicker and have specialized flavors. Check their website for their current monthly specials. Of course they have your regular flavors like chocolate chip and birthday cake cookies, snickerdoodle, but its way better. If youre in the area, stop in and you wont be disappointed. Oh....they have milk too to have with their cookies 🍪, Youre welcome 😊

We ordered from your bakery last week & had a bad experience with whoever was working front desk. I had placed an order the night before and set up pick up for that morning. The lady working the front proceeded to tell me over and over again in a very negative attitude that I had no order after even showing my confirmation and everything. She didn’t bother “trying” to look for my order and I was out $35.00. I was really disappointed because we drove all the way from Everett. Please do better and be kind.

STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND GO GET THESE COOKIES. If I knew anything about stocks I would buy all the cookie shares I could. Im not sure how this lady does it but these cookies are like a tempurpedic mattress for your mouth. Firm enough to jump on and not spill a glass of wine but soft enough to bite into, soak up all the chewiness, and then fall asleep standing up. They have flavors like lemon cranberry (my personal fav), salted toffee pecan, and birthday cake (which is low key high key delicious). This is my favorite sweet spot in Seattle and I havent even tapped into the cakes they just recently started making. Get them by the dozen and try not to eat all 12 in 4.5 minutes.

Lowriders cookies are truly the best! The thickness makes for a moist middle but just the right crispiness on the outside. We have our 3 favorites (Brown Butter Triple Chocolate Chip, Salted Toffee Pecan, & S’mores) that we order each time but will swap in a seasonal from time to time. Best of all, its a great treat for delivery because its quick and easy and the cookies stay fresh for several days. Oh, and you just have to love their wiener dog logo!

Their staff is always friendly and charming, and to top it off they have a fabulous array of cookies, cookie cakes and milk. My go-to for fresh cookies! I love this place. The staff are always friendly and have great recommendations. The smores cookie is my favorite. Maybe I just went on an off day. The guy at the counter was a little rude. I was picking up an order I placed in advance. He signaled with his hand for me to wait then walked back to take care of some baking things. Then some other guy pushed past me to get to the front of the counter, and the clerk returned and asked this person for their order. That didnt feel great. The cookies themselves - take everything with a grain of salt here and absolutely go and try them for yourself. Everyone has different taste and most people love this place. The chocolate chip cookie had way too much salt for my taste. I think salt should be just enough to bring out flavors, but there was so much it was just a really salty chocolate chip cookie. The cookies and cream was my favorite. The almond extract on the bday cookie was too strong for me, and the smores would have been good but there was so much cinnamon in it I couldnt taste anything else.Like I said, everyone has different taste so go and check this place out for sure! Love that its local and Ill probably be back to try other flavors.

This is Lowriders brick and mortar location, and is therefore more fully featured than their location in Georgetown and at Farmers Markets. Here, I got a half dozen cookies, all of which I liked a lot! My favorite signature flavor was Brown Butter Triple Chocolate Chip, with Cookies and Cream right behind. Unlike other locations, you can also get Full Tilt Ice Cream, which is nice. I didnt get it this time, but I did get their Central-District-only seasonal flavor, which was Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, which was fantastic. The staff was also very helpful, and helped explain the pricing of mixing and matching a half dozen of both regular and stuffed cookies. Overall, the cookie quality and great service make this location of Lowrider my favorite cookie shop in Seattle. Definitely check it out!
