I have very wide feet and finding shoes can be a nightmare. I have never been given three different amazing options that fit! I received fast service even though there were 5-6 other customers with me. This is why I specifically drive 90 minutes for this store.

Highly recommend, I had a great experience here today! Kimberly helped me out finding my perfect pair of running shoes and she did a wonderful job. She and the other employees I talked to were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about all things running. Kimberly asked me some questions about how often and far I run, my shoe cushion and support preferences, and other info needed to get a good idea of where to steer me. She then looked at my gait on a treadmill. After that my feet were analyzed with a 3D scanning device that made a detailed model of my feet - width, arch, size etc, and how far from the average each metric was. It recommended some shoes based on that. She helped me out as I tried on a whole heap of shoes until I found my perfect fit! Very excited with my shoes and I cant wait to take them out for spin.

This location had a HUGE selection of all different brooks styles. The selection itself within the sizes themselves wasnt good at all. Regardless the prompt service, the customer service, and the efficiency with the help we received still keeps it 5 stars. The shoes i posted are the ADRENALINE 21s. At first i thought they were super plain, until the sun hits them. These BROOKS shoes are the most comfortable shoes ive ever had. They fixed my back within an hour after wearing them.... REALLY!!!

I dont know how much Andrew gets paid, but I do know its not enough. Hes certainly a valuable employee and this comment should be considered when performing his review. He was already helping another customer when I arrived, but I was greeted by (both associates) upon arrival. Andrew took the time to inquire why I was there and got my insols in the oven while he continued with his original customer. While helping that customer through the shoe buying processes, he continued to help me through my order and delegated when the opportunity presented itself. Well done, well done indeed.

This was my first time in Roadrunner. All three employees made time to check in or chat with me. Randall was the person who helped me. He was warm, professional, and quite knowledgeable. It was a fun experience participating in the different feet tests. I ended up with a wonderful pair of Brooks, though the three selections Randall suggested made it hard to choose. Just bought some new running shoes for my daughter. The 3D foot scanner and fit process was really cool. The person helping us was good at reviewing the results and recommended several different shoe models to try. We were in and out in less than 30 mins with a great new pair of shoes!

Amazing experience! Irene provided us with excellent service and a strong working knowledge about all kinds of running shoes. I went in thinking I knew what I wanted. After listening to Irene’s explanations and answers to my questions, I moved in a different direction regarding shoes. I am happy with my purchase. In regards to COVID-19 safety precautions, Road Runner Sports got it right! Good monitoring of the number of people in the store and social distancing. Everyone was wearing a mask. Against our better judgment, our family went to the Greenlake shop instead of the Bellevue store. The customer service in the Greenlake store is terrible. The word terrible is actually being used generously.The young woman who was supposed to be helping our family had zero interest in helping us while other employees simply stood around and talked to each other. Are you kidding me? This isnt the first time, or even the third time. This is the attitude all...the...time!!!!!!!!!!Im constantly surprised by this because Ive been to several other RRS on the west coast and never once had an issue. In this shop, its always the same, terrible...and I mean *terrible, awful, unbelievably bad* customer service.I do not recommend this shop to anyone...ever! Do yourself a favor and go to the Road Runner Sports in Bellevue where youll be treated with respect and courtesy.I would complain to the manager, but the last time we did that, the store manager acted like they couldnt care less. This shop is run atrociously and the people working there are exceptionally pretentious, yet for no good reason. Its not as if they were even that busy.I wont waste time with this pathetic group of people or the shop management. You shouldnt either. Go to one of the other Road Runner Sports stores.

Roadrunner Sports was great. I had the full attention of the knowledgeable sales clerk for about an hour. He analyzed my gait and figured out what I needed in a shoe. The store had a very wide selection of shoes in my size. I went home with just the right shoes.

Not sure what has changed but not the same experience I had at the start of the year. Felt like I was being up sold the entire time and ended up just purchasing the shoes up the street.

Was looking for a suitable shoe for basic gym workouts and the Inov8 shoes I initially was interested in were only available online. I was suggested to try the Nike Metcon, and they are perfect. I as told if I bought the Inov8 shoes online and they didn’t fit I could return them for the correct size. Will definitely be a returning customer.

I understand there are COVID restrictions, but many other places are making an exception when it comes to customers using the bathroom. If you’re going to keep me in the store for more than 30 minutes doing all these testing you need to have a bathroom available. If I went to PCC to use the bathroom before making my $400+ purchase I would have decided to take my business somewhere else.

My first visit to Road Runner Sports in October knocked my socks off. The technology to determine the size and contours of my feet and analyze how I walk was dazzling, but the best part was the service I received from Muso (Irene), one of the salespeople. Ive purchased a lot of shoes in almost seven decades, but never had such a helpful and friendly salesperson. She was knowledgeable about makes and styles of shoes, and could explain what differentiated them; she listened carefully to understand what I was looking for; and she was wonderfully friendly. This is the first time I can remember having shoes that fit my feet like the ones I bought, and they werent the most expensive ones I tried on. Three months later and its still a pleasure to put them on and wear them. Thanks, Muso! I wont hesitate to come back for my next shoes!

First time here. Great place to find some quality trail and running shoes. I went in with a small amount of knowledge about trail shoes and spoke with someone about an upcoming fitness event that I signed up for. She gave me some great suggestions on what to look for, for the type of event that I talked about. Just from her personality and ability to figure out what I needed, I signed up for their VIP. So, I walked in there looking for shoes and ended up leaving with exactly what I needed and then some, plus I saved money.

Update; custom insoles only lasted a couple months. They are also very hot and make your feet sweat really bad. It took them two tries to form and they intially felt pretty nice. Staff was friendly and attentive. However, insoles were thrown away a couple months later because they seem to fill up with sweat and hold moisture next to your foot, which is very trouble some on long hikes in the summer. Might only be good for shory runs, not long hikes.

So there I was fully aware of everything I knew I needed. But in comes Thea with all the knowledge this side of the Pacific! She broke down the shoes to me one by one and answered all ten thousand questions I had. She was amazing! Walked in a customer and left out a VIP! 😄

So my experience here started out great! The woman helping me was very friendly and helpful. She helped me find the perfect pair of shoes. Then I get to the register and she’s very aggressive about purchasing the membership. The way she explained it was very confusing to the point where I didn’t even know what the membership was or what I would pay. I respectfully declined and chose not to get the inserts after seeing they were $83!!! After that she turned very cold. She was even kind of rude. I could tell she was angry I didn’t purchase the membership or the inserts. Kind of unprofessional and made me very happy I didn’t purchase the membership. Make sure you know what you what you want/need before going in.

Very stocked shop, welcoming and professionally trained staff. In particular, Mia was very patient and skilled. She asked me to take a computerized barometric test, by walking on a board, and explained me very well the 3D graphics that the software generated. The analysis carried out in the store was consistent with other information that I already had about my way of walking and completed it. All this in order to recommend suitable shoes. I then bought a stabilizing model and immediately put the shoes on. Im walking a lot on this tour of Seattle and Vancouver. The shoes were an excellent and providential purchase. Thanks Mia. I hope that in the future I will easily by on line from this shop since I live in Europe.

He paired me with a FANTASTIC pair of running shoes that took me 4.5 miles right out of the store. No blisters, perfect fit. The prices here are reasonable, especially for QUALITY running shoes. Amazon is more expensive for the same shoes and wont measure your foot/stride for free! Great selection, GREAT service, will be back for sure!!!!

The shop is amazing I become Vip right away when you are VIP you get discount prices and opportunity to try any shoes for 90 days and return them and they will let you take a new one. I have gone to this store for almost 7 years and enjoyed the store personnel who were knowledgeable about running and gave good feedback. The last year the turnover has been crazy and management knows nothing about running. Employees seem more focused on pushed the selling of socks and shoes you dont want then catering to runners like they did in the past. Go some place else if you want quality advice for real running.

Overall great experience! I came in a bit later in the day so the store wasnt busy at all. Bryce, one of the employees, was very quick to help and offered advice and solutions to all my questions. After doing a quick run test he immediately went back and grabbed a few shoes to try on that met my needs. A few other customers came in and Bryce started helping them too since again it was a bit later in the day so there werent many employees to help, but he did a wonderful job making sure we were both taken care of and checked back with me frequently to see how each pair of shoes fit. Wonderful place, nice staff and plenty of shoes to try on. Will definitely be coming back!

Ive always bought used shoes and had pain while running. Im 27 and dropped in, at 10am, on a weekday, for a free ergonomics shoe fitting and foot analysis. I only waited for 5-10 minutes before someone was available to help me understand my running form, and gave me specific advice on movements to reduce my pain and improve my strength and flexibility. The shoes feel like a glove and I love wearing them all the time! I wish I had come here sooner and am so grateful for the truly generous knowledge and experience provided.

I came in here a month ago, new to running and with no idea where to start in buying good running shoes. As soon as I walked in, someone at the counter asked how they could help me and set me up with Mia. She was extremely personable and knowledgable! After having me run on a treadmill and 3D scanning my foot, she helped me find the perfect shoes. I came in with my husband about two months later to get him some new running shoes....we were greeted immediately again and got lucky enough to have Mia helping us! She remembered me and once again I was blown away by her knowledge--my husband has totally different feet than me and she still knew exactly what types of shoes would be most beneficial for him and why (after having him run on a treadmill and doing a 3D scan). She was totally patient with us, especially since we didnt know anything about what kind of shoes we wanted, and helped him to find a perfect pair as well. Mia has been amazing to me twice now and I recommend this store to everyone!

I always have a great experience shopping with Road Runner Sports. I used to be a long time shopper at their San Diego location, and their customer service is excellent across the board. This location is smaller than others, and has a smaller selection, but thats never been an issue for me as they have a great online return policy.

I shop here regularly. They have decent selection and decent prices, especially if you join their loyalty program. They have a fancy run analysis tool to help you select a shoe type. Ive never used it, but if that sort of thing makes you feel better, its available. The staff all do some running, but this isnt the kind of running store where everyone is a running fanatic. If you are new to running, they can probably help, but if youve been around the block a few times, shop here for the selection and the prices and trust your own judgement.

High end store with lots of choices for sneakers but lots of their own brand for socks and other running apparel. Careful to join VIP program as you get charged each year without consent and unless you live here and use only this place to buy footwear and accessories, question whether you want to jump in with both feet.

Walked in 20 minutes before they closed, and was told twice by a dark-haired female salesperson that they close in 20 minutes, now in less than 15 minutes. She could have just focused on helping me instead of wasting time telling me that. If they dont want people coming in after a certain time, they should close the doors and then finish helping the customers who are already in the store, instead of trying to rush people out or have them leave.

Really poor customer service and very uneducated salespeople. Theyre not actual runners- they just sell shoes and will say anything to get you to buy them. My sales person basically just dropped the shoes in front of my chair and left. There was no help with fitting or helping me try to find the right shoe for me. It was like here you go youre on your own. I did point this out to her as well. She said Well I did tell you I didnt know much about that brand. I informed her that has nothing to do with how you help and service your customer. She basically just took off to tidy up around the store. They werent busy. There is no reason she cant assist and help me. I will not be going back here.

I came here to pick up my packet for Viking Dash. I looked around, not approached by anyone to see if I needed help with anything when I was looking to ask questions about shoes. I would not return to any particular location of Road Runners (I came from Bonney Lake) if this is how all sales associates treat customers or consumers browsing. The store was clean, no complaints there,l.

They will take the time to properly fit running shoes for you. Their stock is incredible and they have current models in Stock. Prices are a little high, but you cant beat the service they offer. No one can match their service from people who actually run and tried the shoes first. Will go back

I had a good experience. But i have a unique problem called Mortons neuroma. Compared to low key / low price running shoe stores, customer service was very knowledgeable. So if you have a special issue I would recommend them. Without any prompting they were spot on with the same recommendations as my podiatrist.

Walked in off the street to buy some gear. Got to the front and the cashier quoted a price nearly 20% higher than the sticker price. Apparently there is fine print. The price I thought I was paying is only for paid members but its very deceptive. Their actual prices for regular customers are actually much higher - to the point where it doesnt make sense to shop there if you only go in once or twice a year. Dont be fooled. I will not be going back.

Being a new runner and new to seattle I choose to go to this place base on their large selection. But I left without buying anything. I had some basic how-to questions about running properly and good places to run but the staff was full of non-runners. They also brought me shoes out I didnt ask for and kept talking to me about signing up for their membership. They didnt seem rude and they do have a large selection but this wont be the store I buy my shoes and gear at.

My first visit was several years ago, where they outfitted me with the wrong sized shoe THREE times before I finally figured out what was wrong myself, and came in and bought the shoes I found online after my own research.- All their fancy technology doesnt make up for lack of actual running and product knowledge.Then, I came in last year and waiting 30 minutes not to be helped, but to be spoken to or acknowledged. Nothing like hey well be right with you or anything. Their team was clearly struggling to deal with a lot of customers at once.When we were finally helped, we were offered 5% off or something of that nature but then charged me on the down low for their VIPCLUB. I didnt want to be in this club, I wasnt notified I was being signed up for this.. So I called and asked to be taken off.THEN TODAY I WAS CHARGED AT $27.99 ANNUAL FEE.Im usually really understanding when things dont go right, especially since Ive worked in sports retail for many years. But I will not be shopping here ever again, and think its important for the public to know they should shop elsewhere as well.

Its so fascinating to read the wildly divergent reviews here. I walked in, got really friendly and helpful service. I bought a pair of Sauconys and got the custom inserts. My feet have never felt better while running. (I was also directed to the best pair of socks on earth. On sale.)I am a very, very novice runner. So maybe expert runners are struggling because their knowledge outstrips the sales reps? But its perplexing that so many people are reporting rudeness. I just got off the phone with the store, because its time for me to buy another pair of shoes (its been a couple of years, and they feel worn out), and the guy on the phone was friendly, helpful, and had the answers to my questions.Highly recommend.
