Its very purple?For a very very niche store in a high traffic area, they had the signage, but few products that called to souvenir shoppers, the person looking to spend ~$30 for something or somethings rather purple.I dont go souvenir shopping for purple business wear or active wear or even purple home goods. If they had more items that appealed to children (purple toys or snacks) or to the either more juvenile adults or the ones look for tchotchkes I could see them pulling in more traffic.I could see someone buying the branded shirts if there were many other items that called out to them, but there werent.I did end up picking up a light sheer purple windbreaker for around $40 for someone who would definitely appreciate it and was happy enough with my purple store purple shopping bag.

Great place to find something purple for the purple-obsessed person in your life!

We were there first hour in the morning because we were curious whats in store, the interior is really impressive with everything purple. Its very organised, clean and tidy. My sister and I got twinning purple hoodie 😀 and a shirt for her. They are reasonably priced so we were happy with our purchase. Its a cool store that you cannot find anywhere. It accepts cash and credit cards, as well.

Come on!!!! It’s purple. How can it not be awesome? I had seen their website years ago and I was so excited to discover their brick and mortar store. It was a lot of fun. Make sure to check out the purple bike while you are there. The service was friendly and very helpful.

I drove by this place and the purple attracted me; my Grandma gave me a purple blanket when I was young so I like the color. Super friendly and helpful staff of 4. I bought a purple Ginsu knife set & a small pot with a strainer lid for about $75; a tad on the pricy side. They told me theyve 900 purple products available! Totally kewl!!

This store is an unusual gem, an idea that should not work and yet somehow does. It is one of the things that makes Seattle amazing and if you are in the Pike Place Market you need to stop in here to see them. The staff is friendly, the jewellery is gorgeous, and the purple socks are too cute even for words.

I love the store, its content, and have done pick-up work there on and off since Adam was working out of his apartment. As with any dispute over money, there are at least three sides, and it cant be litigated with bumper stickers.I also worked on occasion with the ex-employees, and know the back story. I have seen them work and entirely understand why they were fired. I only half-understand why Adam waited so long. Nobody likes being the bad guy.In retaliation, a group of so called anti-capitalist anarchists have been mobbing this tiny business. The Purple Store is not some mega corporation. Theyre sure sticking it to the man though. No doubt Amazon is quaking in its boots.The attacks against the store, Adam, and his character have made me question not only my lefty politics, but my faith in the central goodness of people. This is an issue for the courts, not a screaming mob.In spite of this, the store is still open, welcoming, and has everything purple. Even on a bad day, Adam will treat you well, and help you meet your purple needs.

Walked past here today and noticed picketers storefront. Curious, I asked one of them what was going on. He explained to me (very politely) that the owner of this store treats his employees very poorly and apparently does not pay their wages as promised then fires them. Then I was approached by the actual stores owner and followed so he could tell his side of the story. He was pretty aggressive honestly and very distraught. I was then rescued by the picketers who led me away from him. Honestly.... the whole point of this store is they sell random things that are purple... so not sure why anyone would even want to shop there. But even if everything I owned was purple.. I would avoid this store because of its owner alone. Just a very weird experience...

Fantastic store. Great people, fun merchandise! Dont let the picketers trick you — theyre professional worthless people who make trouble without bothering to actually find out what happened or why. Theyre also mostly harmless, though sometimes get loud and annoying. Absolutely worth walking past them though 👍

This store is unique and fabulous. Local owner with a passion for purple who just loves making people happy by finding the purple objects of their dreams. If you love people, want to support a local independently owned business, and enjoy beautiful old-Seattle spaces (the wood! the beams!), stop by to gawk and leave with some new fun stuff.

This is my favorite colour so was absolutely ecstatic to see a store for all things purple! I have also been shopping online from the comfort of home, but it was so nice to visit the store!

Was carrying my luggage around and saw a sign that said they did luggage service $3 for the first hour then $1 for every hour after. I was tired of lugging my bags around so I thought that was a good deal. I left two bags for 4 hours and got charged $22!!! It should have been $12 for two and before I left my bags the lady said it would be $10. Terrible customer service! I felt ripped off!!

This place was great! Everything was purple, and Adam and Emily were super friendly. I got a couple of wine openers because of course your wine opener should be purple!

Decided to brave the protestors to take a look at the store. Should have taken their advice to stay away! The owner talked my ear off and the merchandise was overpriced. Better stuff to be found at other pike place businesses.

Excellent customer service. My daughter received a trunk as a gift, Unfortunately it arrive damaged. I just had to notify the company, send pictures and they had a new one on the way. No problems what so ever. And the trunk is really beautiful and high quality!

We really enjoyed this store! So unique for UW wear, hucklberry candy & soda, gorgeous glasswear, outdoor wear, fun sokcs, hats....a huge store and very creative!! Glad the cops were on some lame brain picketers who are hurting small businesses by trying to intimidate people. Super nice owner handing out huckleberry taffy....chill guy. Pretty obvious some reviews in here are B.S. We spoke to cops who there managing picketers...half of the picketers look like homeless people they hired off the streets just to harrass people who want to go inside.

Indeed, it is a purple store, as advertised.

Was on vacation in Seattle and decide to visit the store. Web site displayed an address and hours so I took an Uber from downtown to get there. Upon arrival I was greeted by signs taped up on the windows advising that the location had changed. Took another Uber to the next location which turned out to be a vacant warehouse. Called and they advised that they had closed their store front months ago. $33 in Uber costs and an hour wasted due to their failure to keep their website updated. Pitiful. Just pitiful.

Having a HORRIBLE time getting ahold of anyone. Ordered an xl shirt & it came pretty fast & it even says xl on tag but it is clearly not.. Well maybe its a childs xl but still called SEVERAL times & left SEVERAL messages to trying 2 find out how 2 exchange it & no responses at all!..
