It’s a cute store. They have a lot of stuffI’ve been two times and I appreciate it. I would like more stores like this one. Today I also found some free pieces. The staff is nice. The area is interesting, you can find a parking spot easily around the store. They have cheap pieces and also some a little more expensive.

Super neat little character of a shop! This store also shares a door with Georgetown Records, so folks who enjoy funky graphics can also shop for groovy tunes! Definitely a place you want to spend ample amount of time browsing through :)

I love this record store! Great and constantly changing collection of new and old in musical styles and centres from around the world -- and a not-too-shabby (and rare) section of late 20th and 21st century art music on vinyl!

I come here when I want to gift a friend with an interesting book. Ill tell the owner who the gift is for, what theyre like and invariably he will pull a few titles based on themes I suggest. (Race issues and white privilege, childrens book but good for adults, 12 Step theme, for a Buddhist, success-failure-redemption, etc) Im not saying he finds something for every theme but he knows what to suggest and educates me on the author/artist. I used to think this store was just for people who are graphic novel nerds but anyone with curiosity and a love for creative expression will enjoy coming here.

Fantagraphics as a publisher literally changed the face of comics forever and is a Seattle institution. Their shop not only carries their own new and out-of-print titles, ranging from Graphic Novels to Disney to Mature and Erotic books, but they import other publishers titles as well. I prefer to buy local and support the artists more directly than buying at a discount on Amazon. Speaking of discounts, they have a huge bargain room at the back of the store where you can find clearance books and scratch and dent specials. Also, they have s gallery wall where they have rotating exhibits.

One of few comic stores left in the city. It helps that theyre also a comic publisher. Good selection of comics, not sure if they only carry their own titles. Weird toys and other nonsense. Friendly staff. Great coffee next door. Go get a comic and read it with some espresso.

Such a cute book store! I love to come here! Its my favorite book store in the city. I hope that books will never go digital, and paper will survive. So those places will exist 100 years later.

So you like comics, but have outgrown the superheroes? This is your Mecca. A flagship store for Seattles oldest comic publisher, selling adult (in both senses of the word) graphic novels and independent zines, carefully curated to show the best of what the medium has to offer.

They had racist sambo images on display and laughed when I commented that this was offensive. I told them that if this was my store, I would not promote or sell clearly racist merchandise. They did not seem to care, but put the merchandise behind other albums to hide them.
