Been waiting 5 weeks for my books. No email from them but found out by calling that my financial aid didnt go through. Called my financial aid and they say its covered in the system. Not answering phones during their open hours. Assignments piling up and no books. Honestly, do better.
Nothing wrong with it, great if you want a snack or need some school supplies and textbooks. You can be in and out pretty quickly but if you need something specialized then it might not be there. They definitely saved my hide when I needed safety goggles for a lab I wouldve had to miss if I hadnt had them.
I had a good experience, and staff were polite and accomodating. Long line as I was buying my books a couple days before start of quarter, but that is not surprising, nor their fault that everyone waits until the last minute. Prices were higher than online, but dont forget that if you bring proof of the same book for sale and in-stock on Amazon for a lesser price, they will price match. They did this for me. Also, you can order books from them online ahead of time for store pick-up, and beat the line that way.
This is probably the worst college book store. The assistant manager clearly doesnt want to help her customers, and even though it was her employees mistake charging me the wrong book, she refused to help me get my money back. Highly would recommend getting your books off Amazon or at a different college. This is my third bad experience with them.
Ordered 1 item that was in stock for in-store pickup thinking hey this is great, Ill pop in later today or tomorrow and scoop it up without having to mess around. 7 days later the ready for pickup email shows up.When I went there to ask what was up it was completely empty (as it always is except for 2 days per quarter) and their ability to understand spoken words was zero. Just blank stares and confusion. I pointed to the stack of the item I ordered that was 4 feet from the empty registers and felt sad. Then I left, never to return.
Great little place when you need to get stuff for class, such as a snack or a new pencil.
Great Bookstore, look online if you have time, its full price.
This bookstore is great for students... they even match pricing for books to ensure students get a good deal.
Awesome manager and staff. They take great care of your needs.
Fast transactions and great customer support, and students can easily find supplys and required books with out spending an arm and a leg
It is nice school, teachers are good. The students are from several countries.
Over priced, its owned and ran by Barns and Nobles and they over charge students for corporate bonuses. I suggest Amazon and other sources. Find IBN.
Terribly rude and not helpful over the phone. The initial clerk I spoke too was kind but her supervisor followed by the manager were both incredibly impolite.
Expensive, but not too bad.
Helpful selection and staff ready to assist
Always great and hospitable.
If you can buy your books online do it that way. The management of this bookstore is not accommodating to people with disabilities.
Highway robbery. They are way way overpriced and often recommend textbooks your professor will not require. Always speak with your professor before purchasing unnecessary materials. It is also extremely busy the first week or so of classes so if you do decide to purchase here expect at least a 20 min wait, if not more.
NSC has Good community and facilities
The prices of books in this store is very expensive even not comparable of other book stores. worst
Lines are awful and prices high for students but you can always get what you need and find someone that knows where to find what you are looking for.
Standard college book store. If u know u can buy it online for cheaper, you cant complain about in store prices at brick and mortar stores.
Helpful, attentive and friendly
Amazing choice of books
Very helpful.
Textbooks are so expensive
Friendly attitude and good service
