HempFest is the 3rd weekend in August every year in Seattle. The event organizers refer to it as a Protest-ival. OrEO & I attended our 1st time for HempFest 25 in 2016. We went in 2017, & last year as well. We already have our flights for HempFest 28, merely 5 months away. We likely will attend annually, in perpetuity.

I love the Hempfest family and everything theyve done and are doing for the community and industry. Please support the mother plant and stop in and grab some cool stuff and things and say high!

Friendly service and a wide variety of marijuana themed gifts and goodies.This is NOT A DISPENSARY.They sell items seen at the booths at hempfest. Artisan crafts, blown glass, clothing, ashtrays, posters, hemp products, incense, books, cards, decorative items, etc etc...My only wish would be that they concentrate some energy on a more frequent stocking of sold-out and newer items. I returned three times in total and was disappointed to find no new merchandise.Nonetheless, there are items available here that you wont find ANYWHERE else.

Nice shop, good for hemp products. Very misleading to people who go to Hempfest. Should be closer to Hempfest or at least near the park! Good experience at the store. To bad they dont sell actual weed! Very misleading in the name.

HempFest sells knock off products. They say they are for the people, but they continuously would rather make a buck. Non food grade silicone is extremely harmful to your lungs. After telling them this, they refuse to carry legit products. The owner of HempFest also just purchased Grass And Glass which is a recreational shop. Things just aren’t adding up and their true colors are showing. Shame on HempFest. Our company even sponsored them one year and they are STILL selling knock off products of ours.

I enjoyed myself, once we found a parking spot 6 uphill blocks away! All the free js that were getting passed out made it well worth the hike!

This event was garbage. We were all like caged animals. Its as if this is Seattles way of keeping weed-smokers detained. They fenced off the entire area.The place was so crowded! I dont think they had expected so many people. There were many, many tourists and out-of -towners. Because of the lack of preparation, they did not prepare enough traffic-free area to contain enough people. Next time, the event coordinators need enough money to contain everyone.Most of the issue is a funding problem. Seattle government and public need to do more to fund this event. They need to fundraiser more. I dont understand how now-a-days we have football and basketball stadiums publicly funded through our tax dollars, but festivals that we all want to go to like Hempfest are still not recieving any funding from the city. Ludicrous! They should either remove all funding from entertainment events and artists, or they should have a better system to decide which entertainment to fund [for instance by population use or ($ spent = # of people interested/ total population x total entertainment budget)].Anyways, recommendations to city-planners is probably no place for a review, but maybe this will get some attention. Ill write an article as well and publish it somewhere.Next year, fund hempfest better! And do a better job of raising awareness and fundraising! Work w/ city govt to get some funding (like capitol hills gay pride festival!).
