I cant even begin to express how upset I am with this shop. The level of incompetence and deceit just boggles my mind, and its been an absolute nightmare dealing with them.Unfortunately for me, my insurance company chose them without my input. The shop estimated the repair would take 2 days, but they ended up keeping my car for over a MONTH. For the past 3 weeks Ive called almost every day for an update, and every single time they told me it would be ready within 30 minutes/2 hours/by the end of the day. Finally I got so fed up I had my insurance company start calling them instead. They continued lying about the timeline for another 5 days until I was finally told it was ready.But the saga doesnt end there! They didnt even manage to fix the car in the 33 days they had it. When I picked it up the check engine light was still on and the car makes a horrific noise. At this point I dont care how much another shop charges me to finish fixing my car, Ill be taking it somewhere else and gladly pay whatever it takes not to deal with northwest ever again.Update: I took my car to another shop to finish the repair. They told me the job done by Northwest Best Auto Repair was by far the worst work theyve ever seen and done by someone who clearly had no idea what they were doing. They had to cut out the entire section Northwest had worked on and start over from scratch. Northwest only put in one converter when there should be two, they totally forgot to put in an oxygen sensor, and the welds were atrocious. Even to my untrained eye, it looked so bad I had to take pictures (attached). Luckily the other shop was able to finish the whole repair in less than 24 hours, where Northwest took a month to do a bad job. So in conclusion, if you care about your car and actually want it fixed, take it ANYWHERE else!

Great shop. Owner there went above and beyond to help out with a busted tire we came in with on labor day. Total life savers.

I like that the owner responds to these posts.Here is my problem. My wife went to get a tire patched the other day. Theyre almost closing It was around 5:45. An individual there says that...if you are going to take my time im going to take your time... And then asks my wife for a date. I was quoted at 50 dollars and told it would take an hour. This is weird on many front.Went somewhere else for half the cost, in a third of the time, and she didnt get harassed. Thanks.

As a first time car owner when my check engine light came on i freaked out sooooo much, but North West Best Auto repair made it so easy. I took my car in and they took amazing care of me, the people at front desk we so polite and walked me through everything. Once they knew what was wrong it took less then 3 hour and i drove away with a smile on my face and not a hole in my pocket. Will always be coming back for there amazing service.

Josh is a great mechanic, helpful and flexible. He stayed late and helped with my Leaf on the Friday before Memorial Day with not a single grumble.

Kenny doesnt own the shop anymore. So they went from the best and most honest car repair in Seattle to something VERY different. I brought my two-year-old car here for them to look at a dead battery. After having my car for days and scolding me for calling the shop too much, they recommended a $1200 alternator repair for a part that typically goes bad after 7-10 years. It sounded suspicious, particularly after the rude behavior, so I took my car some place else and the alternator did not need a repair. Be careful with this place.

Dont come here for repairs if you can help it. My tire replacement was estimated to take 1 day...it took 3 days.Also, when they told me to come in this morning at 9a to pick up my car, the shop was closed and I waited for an hour and a half before someone finally showed up.Worse still, my car wasnt even done! Finally got the tire replaced and paid for and guess what...had to wait around as they tracked down my keys. What a terrible, unprofessional experience.

I had my engine replaced here a while back I just realized I have never given this place any appreciation. They were up front and honest about everything ever step of the way. I was quoted a price and it was exact when I picked up the vehicle. A whole engine replacement in just 4 working days is very nice. Here I am a year later and 15000 miles everything is running great!

I went to North West Best Auto Repair because my dashboard said that my front left tire was running low on air even when I had filled it up just a couple weeks before. So I went to see what the issue was.They called me shortly after I dropped off the car letting me know that they needed to patch the tire. When I asked about the cost, they quoted me $60 to patch a single tire which was way above market prices. Frustrated, I drove the car back home and called a few places nearby to see what they would charge. I found a place that said they would patch it for free.So I finished up the rest of my work day and got back in my car to head to the other tire shop. Thats when I realized that my front left tired was now completely flat. North West Best Auto Repair had made the hole even bigger while trying to locate where the air was leaving from! So I drove a several hundred feet to a nearby jiffy lube to fill the completely flat tire with air. Then I drove the rest of the way to the other tire shop only to find out that I had damaged the rims of the tire for driving it while it was flat and now was forced to purchase new tires instead.All of this could have been avoided if I never went to North West Best Auto Repair and went directly to the other place instead.The guy at the front desk was preoccupied and it was the worst customer service I received at an auto shop.I dont know how good they are for other types of repairs, but as for tire issues, find somewhere else to go.

Me and my wife only come here because they always take care of us in a professional and timely manner. Recently Kenny gave us a great deal on a set of tires and had us back on the road the same day for our trip. We felt a lot better taking our journey knowing our vehicle was safe.

I brought my car here a few months ago when the engine suddenly began making a loud whining noise. They told me the whine was coming from the timing chain side of the engine and there was also a rod knock. They wanted $4500 to rebuild the engine so I brought it to another shop for a second opinion. The other shop told me the whine was coming from the power steering pump (which is on the opposite side from the timing chain) and there was no knock. I replaced the power steering pump and my car resumed running perfectly and quietly, so the second shop was clearly correct. I dont know if this was attempted fraud or if theyre just incompetent, but either way you should not bring your car here for any reason.Edit: Ive added my receipt to show that I did go to this shop. They misspelled my name on it which is probably why they couldnt find a record of my visit. The person behind the counter said it would be $4500 for an engine rebuild but didnt provide a written quote.

Every time I come here, the employees are very professional. They helped me out with my Subaru they checked the brakes tires suspension and engine for me the one issue it had they were very thorough in explaining to me and showing me what was going on. My only shop I trust

Starter went out right before the weekend I was planning on going on vacation. I got it towed to the nearest shop which was here and they had me fixed and on the road the very next day. Life savers thank you !

They charge a lot was so expensive repair and less of 2 month we need to bring back again the car for the same problem and they charged again! When we asked to the father why his response was really really rude! I strongly recomend Do not take your car there!!!!

Horrible experience. Run the other way. My sons car still doesnt run and he is out a vehicle and $500. He was treated with complete disregard and Kenny was dishonest. Would mot recommend doing anything with thos shop.

They fixed my water pump, & replaced my broken belt. It took one whole day. Car is good as new for a 99 chevy lumina, one of the worse cars to fix and operate. Call Kenny...his customer service is amazing. He explained everything to me for someone who dont know much of anything. Check out this auto shop

Squeezed me in at the end of the day, The guy stayed even past closing to help me out and change my battery that was dead. i think his name was Kenny . we will be back very soon for our next service
