This grocery store is focused on Asian food and drinks. It has also cooked food section for Asian food. It has some basic American items such as cola. Unfortunately prices are really high for a large supermarket. For example same size coca cola is 2.41 USD here but it is 2.10 in Bartell Drugs. Although Bartell is a convenience store, it is cheaper.

This District H isnt a huge grocery store but does carry a good amount of Asian food, ingredients and snacks, mainly Korean, Japanese and Chinese. I got some dumplings, a box of miso, and some snacks. Awesome to have an Asian store in the city center (and next to Whole Foods so I can do my grocery shopping in one trip)! The store is clean and nicely stocked and the service is friendly.

Great quick grab n go for lunch at a great price. Due to the pandemic, a lot of restaurants and food trucks closed in SLU/downtown so District H has become my new go-to for lunch! Great hot bar food area.

Would not recommend. The produce there is not fresh at all. We bought groceries on Saturday. When we were ready to cook on Sunday, we found the lettuce had mold on the leaves and the Korean pears were already rotting. Such a disappointing experience.

If you are black, they WILL racially profile you. I have been a victim of this and I saw this happening to another black man as well.It was raining in Seattle (duh), so I had my Patagonia rain jacket on. I’m not sure if that was what prompted the security guard to follow me around the store. They didn’t do this to anyone else - I saw Asian couples and brown couples with rain jackets on and even backpacks. I have spent hundreds of dollars on groceries at this store, and it’s always the same deal. When I walked in, I saw the older Asian lady cashier motioning to the security guard and looking over at me.By the way, my mask was on the entire time and I am not an anti-masker.Besides that, the food options are good, but do check the expiration dates on the packages because I saw a few that had been expired for a month already.Be prepared for harassment if you decide to shop here if you are black.

Nice Korean grocery store AND fresh made to order food court. The store is bigger than it looks from the outside. They dont have the WIDEST variety of things, but they do have LOTS of options for particular foods - like noodles, kimchi, rice, spices etc. The fresh food court is really nice with a grill station, a dumpling station, a bakery, and a bibimbap station. It was very clean and well organized.

If you have celiac DO NOT EAT ANY SUSHI, SASHIMI, OR POKE FROM HERE. They use soy sauce that isnt gluten free in their arame seaweed salad, which comes with pretty much everything even the salmon sashimi, and you WILL be exposed to gluten through cross contamination. No take-out food item from here is gluten-free. Otherwise, they have a decent selection of Ramune sodas and rice/red bean mochi, which are of course gluten-free.

Love this place!! We no longer have to go to Uwajimaya for Asian groceries!!This is essentially a mini version of H-mart.They carry a variety of produce for Asian cuisine (good veggie and fruit selection), Korean condiments (some Chinese, some Japanese too), lots of good snacks and instant noodles!! Meat section is smaller but good enough if you want to eat hot pot at home. The pre-cooked foods were tasty! We had tried various bentos as well as the fried stuff - yum!!They have indoor seating so you can enjoy your food while it’s fresh and hot! I saw grilled station, dumpling station and kimbap. They also have ordering systems on the right side of the main entrance. So happy District H finally opened!!

Tasty food, great variety, convenient location. Have been here three times this week, for breakfast, lunch and dinner - every time I leave, I see something else I want to try next time! The front is a large grab & go section, and further back are the grocery store aisles and the ordering stations for hot food (bibimbap, Korean short ribs, beef dumplings). Theres an industrial-looking seating area for the hot food, and then in the back is a RIDICULOUS French/Asian bakery, with cream puffs and macarons, but also sesame red bean balls and sweet potato cakes. The whole space is pretty compact (like they fit an entire Uwajimaia into a quarter of the space), and if youre looking for something light or filling, cheap or expensive, healthy or deliciously decadent, you can find it quickly here. Glad that District H has come to South Lake Union!

Sushi, sashimi, poke...this is my go-to place. I am so excited that I found this place. The fish is always fresh and the service is amazing. I am going to sit still for a year in Seattle and this will be my place. They also have the typical Asian noodles, which I havent bought here yet, but I know I will. Fresh produce is also available and looks terrific. Oh, and Asian pastries...I just cant wait to load up on those as well. This is a great find right in the heart of Seattle and a stones thrown from Whole Foods.

When I checked out today, the cashier put one of my item at the bottom of my bag, and put other stuff on it, at a result, did some damage to it. When I noticed it and ask to get another one, they said they can’t understand my accent. After I replaced the damaged item, the cashier asked me in a wired way, saying ‘do you felt better now?’. It’s a extremely unpleasant experience. I felt like being discriminated by who is also from Asian community :(

Had luck on my side and was able to get street parking right next to the h district building where hmart is in. Looked around, smaller than usual but quaint and enough room to house many different area for eating. Ordered eel and rice bowl and some fried oysters to share. Also tried kimchi and veggie jun and last we tried kwabegi and red bean pastry. The kwabegi tasted like a donut not made of rice flour, which is a shame but still ate some with coffee.

I used to go to District-H weekly for the salmon sashimi. They used to have nice thick cuts but recently the cuts have become much thinner in every dimension(some slices are almost half as big as they used to be), and yet the item sells at the same price. Its very sneaky and disingenuous. From now on I will probably go to Uwajimaya where they have consistent price per weight for the sashimi.I am disappointed.

District H is a decent place for a quick food pick-up. They have a limited selection of lunch options - about 5 or so. I had the salmon bowl which had a small chunk of salmon with some white rice and a few grilled veggies. If one is looking for a hearty portion, then they would be looking to spend about $18 plus taxes. They also have a good selection of Asian groceries for people looking for grocery options

I went there randomly during their soft opening. I got the short rib meal. It was bomb. I wish it had more sauce or something on it but I like that its made to order fresh on the grill. I had to definitely resist buying one of everything.
