I had a wonderful experience. Employees are friendly & handle the work quickly. I had a $20 off coupon for up to 5 quarts of oil but ended up needing 6 quarts; I was glad to hear they had an affordable value for each additional quart! I had lunch next door while waiting- there were so many food options & shops at their intersection to keep busy while waiting.Only strange thing about this place is Google maps can’t figure out how to get to the parking lot when navigating!

These guys are outstanding! I’ve come to this location for years now and after every visit I become more thankful we have a honest, reasonable auto shop right in old town. Corey at the front desk is so personable and helpful. I thought I had made an appointment online and due to user error it wasn’t actually scheduled but he didn’t skip a beat and followed up with “don’t worry, we can still get you taken care of!” Lyft and Uber both had no available drivers and I had an important work meeting I needed to attend while they worked on my car, Corey and another employee Mike, were able to help coordinate transportation so I didn’t have to reschedule. Thank you a million shop 4135, you gentlemen go above and beyond while remaining so professional!

Randy was very deceitful to me when I came in for a car AC repair. He informed me that they would do a free evaluation and then if it was a quick fix it would be $200. He called to inform me that it was a bigger issue and would actually cost $2500 (even though the parts itself only cost around $800-1000 at most). I asked why it would be $1500-1700 just for labor and he gave me a very sleazy runaround answer. When I came to pick up the car he still charged me $200 for “diagnosing” the issue, even though he said it would be free. He claimed that evaluating and diagnosing was different after the fact, even though in the beginning he made it seem like evaluating/diagnosing was the same thingand it would cost $200 to fix. Very sleazy and deceitful and tries to take advantage of women who wouldn’t know any better about how much things on cars should actually cost. Please never come here.

The quality of work done by Meineke is a joke. The 24 months & 24k mile warranty is honored only if they believe that’s still what’s wrong with the vehicle. I had my steering rack replaced by Meineke on 10-16 at #4135 and have had significant issues with the car since. I took it to multiple independently owned shops and was shown the the rack and pinion was not installed properly, but Meineke disagreed. The technician at #2128 said my alignment was fine. When I showed him the scan taken at the shop down the street he threw his hands up in the air. Saying they are “not professional” is a compliment.

My engine splash shield started dragging on the 101. I called meineke to see if they could help. They were amazing. They took my car in at closing and fixed the problem. On a Friday evening I was in a blind panic and they came through. Lilliana was professional, thorough and really nice. Thank you!

The guys were all courteous and friendly. The job was performed expertly and ahead of schedule. The price? Maybe a little more than expected. But the shop has to make money too. And the tire I needed was not a stock item and I was a first time walk in customer. Id do business with that shop again.

These knuckle heads pulled my car in to do an oil change and proceeded to tell me they cant change the oil. Reason you ask, your brake lines are rusty. Hmmmm, what does engine oil have to do with brake lines? I think these guys are lazy and dont want to work. Go to Jiffy Lube!

They fixed the issue right away, its like I had a brand new car all over again!!! Super reliable, very friendly, and are willing to work with you. Best mechanic shop that I have been to thats really reliable. Keep up the great work guys!

Set an appointment at this location hours in advance for a standard oil change and showed up being told I would need to reschedule or leave my car and it would likely be done be the end of the day. The Branch Manager Raymon stated he was the only one there and “no one wants to work”. But I don’t see that as a reason to keep appointments open when you’re incapable of adhering to them. Very poor service, will never use again and will probably steer clear of Meineke as a whole now. I planned to get this oil change done specifically on a one off weekday that I have off and now there are no other places that can do it this late notice.

They added $2000 to the work order without my consent an 2 large dudes strange armed me into signing the receipt to get my keys back after having my car for 2 days oh yeah and it hasnt started for most of the last month which never was an issue prior to paying $3200 worth of repairs from them . Do yourself a favor an avoid this place an to an honest small business or jiffy lube is a much safer/better option. Never have I had grown men make me feel so bad about a decision and be so mean to me

One of those typical experiences where I went in for a advertised $50 oil change for my old 2015 Dodge 6 cylinder. And left with a $70 oil change. Just one time I would like to pay the advertised price.

I got a Groupon deal and showed up as soon as I could after work (10 minutes before they had to close). Cory was awesome. He made it work and had a good attitude. My phone, which had the Groupon code was also acting up. Excellent customer service, especially since I was basically the worst type of customer. Thank you!

The team is super efficient and the technician is one of the best in the business to date. I was very satisfied with the work done to my vehicle.

The attendant attempted to sell me on various services due to problems with my car. Each of these issues was relatively minor, and did not require immediate attention, but they were presented as though my car was in immanent danger of falling apart. The oil change is moderately priced and was performed well, but dont let the attendant scare you into purchasing hundreds of dollars of additional services. Take the list they will print for you to a mechanic you trust and have them evaluate the condition of your car.

My car started acting up out of nowhere yesterday at 2pm and thankfully the shop was right across the street I was greeted by Randy who couldn’t have been nicer. They did a quick check to find out there were some spark issues. He called my extended warranty company to see if it was covered (it wasn’t). I asked for a ride home and was surprised when Randy said yes. Lillianna took me right away. Lillianna was super friendly both ways. I was surprised when they offered to pick me up as well. Kevin was the one to fix my car and when I came to pick it up both him and Randy explained everything as well as the warranty policy. I couldn’t be happier with the professional service I got start to finish!

The service here was excellent. I just needed a routine oil change. I appreciate that they provide a digital format of their inspection, and upon finishing and checking out, they ask if you have questions or would like to review anything. The gentleman was not pushy on any of the recommendations. He simply took the time to explain what each was and let me know they’d be here if and when I decided to take any action. I really appreciate that sort of nature when 99/100 times most places have staff that turn into salesmen during these moments. I will be using them in the future for my auto needs.

They explained the wait times but offered to schedule an appointment. We came back an hour later and they were right on time with getting my service started. My wife and I took a walk around the golf course and by the time we came back (40 minutes exactly), our car was being buttoned up and ready to go. Great service, courteous, and above all, honest about service times.

I got my oil changed. It was quick, easy, I need repairs done on my car, and they were honest about work I needed, but I just wasn’t interested in getting it done there. No one was wearing a mask. Completely hypocritical considering the signs on the doors. Just blatant disregard for their customers and their lives.

Im always nervous about bringing my car to a mechanic. It seems these days that most mechanics I go to screw me over, and then I end up with my car in worse condition than before. But these guys seemed very honest and professional. They fixed my car immediately even though I didnt set up an appointment but just showed up that day. I also appreciate the mechanics explaining to me many different things about the car giving me many insights on how to properly maintain it myself in the future. Im glad I went to this mechanic, and if I ever have any more problems this is where Ill go back to.

This is my GO-TO shop to take my vehicles in to get work and maintenance done. Randy and the staff are awesome here. They have a shuttle service that is very convenient. Prices are affordable and work is very well done. I highly recommend this shop if you are in the Scottsdale/Tempe area.

I thought I scheduled the oil change at Meineke through Groupon, but when i went to pay, I couldnt find it the coupon. The service advisor found me a coupon that actually saved me more than Groupon. They did the inspection with the oil change, of course, finding items that needed repair. The big difference with the inspection here was the pictures and explanation of how it impacts the drivability of the vehicle. I do a lot of vehicle maintenance and repair myself, so this was a totally new experience for me. Mechanics in the past have attempted to dupe me or tell me they cant let me drive the car off in this condition. No condescension like Ive experienced in the past because Im female and couldnt possibly know anything about the workings of an internal combustion engine. So, for repairs Im unable to do myself, I will definitely use this Meineke location in the future. I was very impressed!

Great little spot to get your oil changed or the basic stuff done to your car and it is a bit tricky to get into the parking lot as it is really a small corner location but very friendly service.

Recently had a full inspection at another place and everything was fine and in perfect working order. Got a coupon for meineke down the road and decided to use it for an oil change. They proceed to tell me that there is $900 of things that need fixing on my car including a brand new radiator coolant leak. I check under the hood after, and my radiator coolant is completely empty (when I arrived it was full) the worker said yeah thats because of your leak. This is the type of place that banks off of wrecking peoples cars and then charging them to fix it.

30 dollar spark plugs ??? Automatically went for the gold-plated package, without discussing alternatives. Abusing the situation of needing the car fixed on new years eve before a trip the next morning combined with my lack of knowledge. And in the end not fixing the diagnosed problem.

Spoke with Randy at Meineke yesterday about getting an oil change and having them check out a sound in the front which I suspected to be either a wheel bearing or the brakes. Considering I was a walk-in and the oil change took only 40 minutes I was really impressed. Not to mention, Meineke sends you a link to show you everything that they found with your car. After that Randy gave me a call back and ran through the list telling me which of the “immediate” issues were actually immediate so I wouldn’t break my bank. Explained how I was looking for a permanent mechanic and Meineke is in walking distance and would love to go through them for everything. Randy knocker prices down and gave me a really good price on my front brakes off of good faith that I would return. I will 100% return to the location on Hayden & Thomas.

I just want to say this place is amazing! I had to turn into this place because my car was overheating and I felt nothing but taken care of here. Got zero run around from manager was shown exactly the problem on my car and wasnt upsold a bunch of other stuff was only told what needed to be repaired which was a nice change from my other mechanic encounters. If you need work done i suggest this place for sure, great work being done and great people working here!

They told me to come in for an alignment test but then refused to do the test unless i replaced my struts too ($1200). Took it to another place they said my alignment was fine and my steering wheel was just crooked, not a big deal.

I brought my car in after purchasing a Groupon for an oil change. The guys performed said oil change, then another man drove my car to the front of the building, parked it, pulled the keys out and handed them to me and said I was good to go.When I walked over to my car, my keys were in my hand but the car still seemed like it was on. My tail lights were on, and so were the lights inside of my car. When I opened my car door, it alerted me that the door was open, which is something my car doesn’t do unless my keys are in the ignition. Odd, but okay, I thought maybe they had turned something on accidentally.Now I go to put my key in so that I can start my car and leave. MY KEY WONT GO IN. When I attempted to put my key in, it felt like there was something stuck in the way and pushing it back out. I couldn’t get my key to go in at all. At this point I go back inside and tell the manager that I’m not able to get my key in to start my car. He comes out and tries to do it and also fails. Then, he calls over two of his mechanics to try to get my key in, and neither of them can either.At this point I see that my key is now cracked!!!! Then the manager tries to tell me that because my key is so worn out (which it was perfect until they cracked it trying to force it in or out) it needs a new tumbler and key. WHAT?! My car was perfectly fine before I brought it in for an oil change. I’ve never had one issue with this car since I’ve gotten it. I rant and rave all the time about how well it’s been and how I highly recommend it!!My husband came shortly after and both the store manager and myself told him what was going on, and that I was unable to get my key in to start my car. 10 minutes later, the manager tells him that I forced my key in and broke it!! So now his story changes and the blame is put on me!!We got nowhere with them and had to have our insurance company come tow my car back to my house. My lights are still on, key won’t go in, my car won’t lock and my window won’t roll up. Again, my car was in perfect condition when I brought it in, which was even confirmed by Meineke when they did their inspection before servicing my car for the oil change. We are in the process of taking much further steps regarding this, but we feel others should be aware of this before bringing their vehicle here.

I went in for a brake Inspection. The guy that greeted me then proceeded to go look at my brakes. There was squeaking in the front wheels. He informed me that There is no way to fix that unless I replaced the entire brake system. I went to my regular mechanic and he took care of it for me without replacing the whole brake system. No more squeaking. These guys are an absolute joke, do not come here.

1st. Time I went there to have my Ford Ranger truck get an oíl change. Located on the N/W corner of Thomas Rd. & Hayden. In Scottsdale Randy who works the front counter gave me an estimated time of 45mins--1hr. Kept his word. They also pointed out some mechanical issues and took some pictures, a little bit more than what I would pay for just an oíl change? But I was in the neighborhood so I took advantage of it? They also take apps.

Over charged me for an oil service I didn’t need. I got an oil change at a competitor for half the price. Also the salesmen tried to up sell me on other services to my car which it also didnt need. I’ll never come back to Meineke and will always go to the competitor because they didn’t over charge or try to sell my on services that I didn’t need

It took almost 2hrs for an oil change.I was charged $72.00.disappointed and I was the only person there that morning.they told me I have an engine leak I told them there isnt any oil on the garage floor and he changed the subject.

Kudos to Derek and the entire crew at this Meineke shop for the excellent customer service they provided us. We stopped in with a road-hazard-caused leaking tire. I met Derek and asked him about getting it repaired. Unfortunately it could not be repaired. Knowing that, I asked about an engine rattle. They quickly looked at that, determined the cause, and prepared a repair estimate. We had to pass on having the work done due to a schedule commitment elsewhere. We proceeded to park our vehicle outside the shop and start to replace the bad tire with the spare. Unsolicited, Derek brought out a jack and a torque gun to make our work easier and faster. When the spare was on, he came back and checked that the lug bolts were tightened properly. Again, kudos and many thanks.

Totally lied to me about what needed to be done to fix the air suspension on my car… Quoted me over $400 for a repair that took another mechanic 10 minutes to fix.

I went in here to get an oil change, left my van there for an hour and when I got back the manager, Randy, told me of a ton of problems that they recommended I get fixed. I have had a bad feeling about the money I spent here, and still regret getting the work done. It hasnt noticeably changed the performance of my vehicle. I do feel a little cheated.Some of the work was unnecessary and I should have thought twice but I didnt. So Im here just to warn you that theyll probably look for work to do on your vehicle that isnt quite pertinent.The manager and mechanics were respectable and polite but maybe not completely honest. I dont want to recommend NOT going here, as of right now. But definitely do yourself a huge favor and GET A SECOND OPINION!Really think before you spend a bunch of money on your vehicle and dont let the fact that its still on the hoist make you think you have to do anything.EDIT: the work seems to be holding up but my engine still over heats even tho they said it would be fixed. I do understand that there are many factors/potential fixes for an overheating engine but they were very confident that the parts they replaced would fix it.

I came for Oil change. I was told that that it has transmission issue, and also brakes fluid, they will be replacing the brake fluid and cleaning the Transmission. When they called me to tell me that the mentioned things have been done, I asked them if the brakes are working fine. The rep put me on hold and told me that yes, they are a lot better. When I picked it up, they felt the same. Got it checked from another place and found that they had not Flushed the transmission Oil. Not acceptable. Why are the charging me for something you are not doing and why the hell are you telling me the brakes are a lot better when they are not. Also not to mention the amount they charged for it. 99$ for the brake fluid change and cleaning. I never went back to this place.

Bought tires from a Meineke in Virginia about 6 months ago. Woke up to a flat tire put the spare on and went to Meinke. Jean talked me through everything and went above and beyond to verify the warranty and obtain the tire they did not have in store. Jean communicated everything back to me and his customer service should be the standard. The mechanics working on the car were nice and seemed invested in the work they did. Give ya boi Jean a raise. He deserves it!!
