My car was stolen and recovered. Unfortunately when it was recovered the body and interior were destroyed. Stains, missing seats, gun shot holes through the car. Long story short, I called Air Port Auto Body and Albert and Joe took amazing care of me. They paid the tow upfront, stating I had enough stress, and we could figure it out as we went. The insurance came out and approved repairs. The repairs were done amazing, but there was a ton of damage still, and Joe took the time to explain the process and how insurance companies reimburse for only approved repairs. Not only do I not know anything about cars, I dont know anything about stolen car claims. He explained they could only repair what was approved. I met with Joe and we went through the car and I put tape on all damage that was not caused my family. Joe got the insurance back out there and they submitted the claim. The claim went through and they ended up totaling my car. Which was sad, but the best because the approved damage went from $8k to $29k. Had Joe not been looking out for me, I would have had to eat the $21k in damages!!! Joe and Albert are the guys that our parents told us about. The ones who are fair and take care of their customers. The kicker.... my insurance company only gave me a loaner for 30 days, Joe told me to keep it as long as I needed it to find the replacement vehicle to keep my kids safe. In a world of being worried about being ripped off by a mechanic, Joe and Albert are two guys you can trust.

Airport Auto knows their stuff . They came as a recommendation so I brought in a Ram pickup that had accumulated dings, dents, and a bent chrome bumper . The owner Joe was super helpful. Walked me through the process and even took me through the shop for a tour . The place was packed with a wide range of trucks and cars that were being worked on which was reassuring . Got it back on time and the work was flawless . I’d recommend this shop to anyone who wants the job done right .

I was in a car accident in which i was rear ended, my car was horrible! Took it to this shop by referral and of others and I dont regret it not one bit! Not only did they fix my vehicles damages but my car came out of here looking even better than when i got it at the dealership! Everyone i know including strangers have complemented how mint my vehicle looks and my husband and i personally cant get over how good it looks, we have to look back it every time we get off of it because it just looks so nice, even the inside was worked on, my seats look brand new as well and i never thought i would see them this clean after the work my kids have done on them. Im above pleased and happy with the work they did, very nice people as well and I will definitely recommend them to everyone!

Joe and his team did an extraordinary job with my car. Obviously I received my car in better condition then I gave it to them but it was as good as new if not better! Their hard work definitely shows. I am beyond appreciative for them and their willingness to work with my insurance company. This is the only place I would take my car if body work is ever needed again and I would recommend it to family and friends.

I was driving a chevy work truck through some heavy snow, slipped and got a flat tyre which was almost falling off of the rim as I tried to take control of the truck and reposition it. The nearest auto repair shop was the Airport Auto Body and I managed to make it there without further damage.Joe was just amazing! He took one look at the tyre and had a tech take it inside the shop to examine and fix it! He was very communicative and told me exactly what had happened and what he did to fix it! He also provided information on further maintenance. It only took about 30 to 40 minutes and I was well on my way to work after as if nothing had gone wrong. This is the type of response you want after having such a car accident issue.

I took my car over about a week ago, and though it isnt finished, Ive been incredibly satisfied with the service Ive received. Joe has been phenomenal about walking me through the process and ensuring that everything will be taken care of; even going so far as pushing the insurance company to fix some shoddy work done from repairs of a previous accident. Ill update once the car is back in my hands, but I expect nothing but complete and utter satisfaction. Thanks Airport for what youve done so far! First timer, but my car was well taken care of and quickly. I had simple wiper fluid caps replaced and they didnt hesitate to help me when I asked if they could change my windshield wipers too! They made it an easy process and reasonably priced! If my car needs work in the future these guys are my go to!

Joe and Mike were really helpful. We were visiting Chicago from Detroit and had a minor issue with our vehicles bumper/underbody shield on our way back. Joe got to it right away and we were back on the highway in no time!

There were grease on my van door so I suspected oil leak. I took it to the mechanic next door but he was already gone for the day, so I knocked on Joes door. He gladly came out right away and looked at my car. He said steering wheel oil low but I can easily get a bottle of anti leak, nothing needs to be changed. He also looked at my transmission oil and confirmed its full. He didnt charge me anything. An honest and very helpful mechanic.

I brought my van there to be prepped and primeres thought everything was great, shortly after I was in a car accident with my other vehicle. I thought I was doing good buisness by bringing my 2nd vehicle to Mike and Joes shop. A few days later after having it towed there my vehicle came up missing and their attitudes changed. They became rude, even tried saying I stole my own car? Are you kidding me I own the thing I have the title in my name!! They tried act as if the car was never there and they refused to give me their insurance information so I can make a claim on my vehicle. Mind you this was not a piece of junk. Its an extremely rare 1984 jeep scrambler thats was in excellent original condition minus what happen from the accident! These people are shady and I wouldnt bring anything of value to them, after this incident I didnt feel comfortable leaving my other car there to be repaired. They refused to give me my vehicle and I had to have the police come escort me so that I could take it out of there. This is a low quality paint and body shop. Their word is no good along with their values and morals. I dont know how these guys sleep at night!!! The guy even tried to fight me, their super shady

Consumer beware, brought in my van to get repair in 02-2013 he kept it for about 5 months. They did a horrible job with my two tone colors. Touch areas that were in excellent condition to match the repaired areas. Im still missing parts they charge my insurance. The shop would not respond to claims reported to the Better Business Bureau and to the Illinois Attorney General. Alot of issues still pending for their lack of responsibility.

Had the best experience, the mechanic was super nice and helpful.
