First the good... then the not so good. We love our new Dekton countertops! The final product came out great and IGS had a very competitive price. The project manager, the installers, the guy that took the measurements, and the salesman were also great. My issue with IGS was sending slabs to my house that were cut incorrectly. IGS fixed the problem in a timely manner... but I had to be the one to notice the problem in the first place. I have done construction work all my life and the issue was glaringly obvious to me. But what if I had been an older, not so observant retired couple... or a single lady with no idea how a correct install is supposed to be done? How embarrassing would it have been for someone like that... assuming the job was done correctly... and then have everyone else notice the problem for years to come? The guys were getting ready to start putting epoxy in the seam between 2 large slabs when I told them to stop and call the boss. I think that IGS needs to tighten up their quality control so mistakes like this dont ever leave the factory uncorrected. A double check to assure that the slabs were cut at a 90 degree angle at the seam would have alleviated the entire problem.Michael (Englewood, FL)

We called International Granite and Stone to help us with our countertops project. We love the fact that they had mobile showrooms, so we didnt have to leave our home. The girl on the phone told us, Jessica, their lead designer, would be the one to help us. Jessica was an absolute professional. She was prepared, answered all questions in detail, and provided an opinion when, and only when requested. When necessary to consult on electrical and cabinetry work, Jessica was able to contact the appropriate tradesmen and obtain an immediate response to technical questions. Her familiarity with information technology enhanced the experience, and assured us, tradespeople, not on sight during the initial visit were able to view and accurately analyze the unique characteristics of our project. We would refer anyone desiring services of this type to International Granite and Stone. The day of install Luis and his son were our assigned to be our installers and wow what an outstanding job of installing our beautiful new Quartz countertops. We have a large kitchen, and they worked diligently to remove our old Granite and Travertine backsplash. They were tireless to ensure that our house was clean before they left and the gorgeous new countertops sparkled beautifully. I would HIGHLY recommend Luis and his son for their craftsmanship. We thank all of the staff at International for making this a fantastic experience.

My girlfriend and I purchased a home at the end of 2018 that needed a complete remodel. While we were waiting for escrow to close, we watched shows on HGTV, and read articles online, trying to get as many ideas and tips before we began our project. We already had a sense of the type of style we wanted for the remodel (modern/clean look), but neither one of us were experienced with any sort of remodeling, so we were relying on suggestions for the build, such as countertop materials and fixtures from these home kitchen and bath remodel type of stores. We are not really big spenders, always looking for the cheaper, better, deal, but we also wanted quality. We had a budget. We visited places such as Home Depot, Lowes, etc. In the end, we felt most comfortable working with International Granite and Stone. We chose them because of the quality of their work, and the remarkable design advice we received when they sent their sales rep to our home plus the competitive pricing that we were looking for in a company to work with.We first worked with Tim after calling International Granite for pricing. We were hesitant at first to have anyone come to our home to show us products as we felt we needed to see larger slabs of quartz. I am glad we allowed International Granite to send Tim one of their experts to our Home. We really appreciated the time he took to help us looking at each sample of countertop, showing us many options of quartz, sinks, and faucets taking the time listening to what we were looking for, and we valued his honest opinions (the positives and negatives) for each product we looked at. We felt that his primary interest was finding something that we would be happy with, and what we were looking for, instead than trying to make a sale. This is something we did not experience when we visited other stores and having all the samples of colors that Tim brought to and to see them in our own space made selecting a color so much easier. Through him, we purchased Cambria quartz countertops, bathroom faucets, a kitchen faucet, kitchen sink, push drains for bathroom sinks, garbage disposal, the smaller fixtures for the kitchen and bathroom (such as garbage disposal button, soap dispenser), tiles for the kitchen backsplash. For our kitchen cabinets, we worked with a referral from Tim. Wow, what a great reference, Mike from FGC Renovations is terrific! We already knew what type of look of cabinets we wanted, as well as pulls and handles. We gave Mike a rough draft of our kitchen dimensions, with a list of appliances (exact models) and placement, he then did a site visit to confirm the measurements, then he worked on a design for our kitchen....all was done within about a weeks time. His design plan had a lot of thought put into it, making very efficient use with space, making sure each cabinet was very usable, maximizing storage space. Even after his initial design, he revised it a couple more times because he thought of another way to make the area even more usable. During the installation, he made a site visit to instruct his installer, assuring proper installation. The cabinets came out looking great! We really love the fact that Mike works very close with International Granite and the countertop arrived on time and fit perfect. We love the look of our countertop with the waterfall option (where the countertop would continue down the side, to the floor).Working with the rest of the staff from International Granite and Stone was an enjoyable experience. We appreciated the communication, such as updates of our orders and time frame of when our install dates. Communication was done via phone and emails. Our experience working with International Granite and Stone was all positive, and we would highly recommend this business to anyone who has a remodel project. We look forward to working with them again in the future if we need anything else for our home.

By far the worst experience in my life. I highly recommend you stay far away from this company. To say their work is mediocre is giving them to much credit. Too many issues to even list but I have reported them to the better business bureau. Please be careful, this company is full of liars, and the most unprofessional people I have ever met. STAY AWAY!*Please note, it is not about the money, it never was about the money. I am more than happy to pay for professional work. IGS messed up countless times on the installation. I would have paid 5xs the amount for quality work. It is sad that IGS thinks this is really about money. All we wanted was to fix our home and this has been a horrible experience. I will never attempt a remodel after this experience with IGS. *

Tim was super great to work with. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, and pleasant. . But most importantly he wanted to find out exactly what I wanted to achieve in the installation and did everything possible to accomplish the total look. He did this all without ever being “pushy” which was a very pleasant. I know the material and service are top notch too. Tim demonstrated that same quality in his interest to service my needs.

Jessica was an absolute pleasure to work with on this project. Her intense attention to detail, passion for a flawless product and customer experience made remodeling a kitchen fun. We felt like her only customer when she explained in fine detail how she was going to optimize our counter aesthetics, add fine edges and execute a difficult pass through counter in the window to the outside. I am not sure when she rests as she followed up during morning and evening hours. One follow up call was from Disney when we requested an earlier install (she made it happen)!Luis, an incredibly skilled craftsman installed our counters with the eye of an artist. His creativity on site allow our counters to take center stage in our new kitchen. Thank you both!

I absolutely LOVE my counter top that I purchased! All the employees that I worked with were very professional and helpful. Steven with sales, Lisa the project manager and the sweet girl at the desk I spoke to numerous times as I stopped in often because I was having a difficult time deciding what counter top to choose. The guys that installed the counter top did an excellent job. Thank you!! The only inconvenience I encountered was the phone call an hour before someone needed to come out. At that time we were not living at the house, so I relied on that phone call so I could be there. The follow thru wasnt good but despite the aggravation I encountered, INTERNATIONAL GRANITE would still be the FIRST place I would call if I need another counter top!!

We contracted with IGS through Costco. The quality of our new counter tops is excellent and they are beautiful. But, even more importantly, we could not be happier with the expertise and professionalism of the staff at IGS. Quite literally, everyone we dealt with there exceeded the bounds of normal customer service in every respect. We were kept informed every step of the way and the various technicians were there when they said they would be, cleaned up well after themselves, and did outstanding quality workmanship. A+++

We are unable to provide any review on the quality of their products or services because apparently our project was too small. We first received a return call from their installer that referred us to another granite business in Tampa. We thought that was a little odd so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and we called this morning at 9:00 AM requesting a call back and nothing yet. The unfortunate part for them . . . is our project became much larger when discussing our options with another provider.

IGS provided all of the Cambria countertops and the full height kitchen backsplash in my new home and did a fabulous job. The kitchen backsplash is huge (5 ft x 9 ft) and was a challenge to install but their staff was highly skilled and careful—the final product looks amazing! When a few issues came up during installation, both Justin at IGS and the Cambria rep. really went above and beyond to make it right. Review №44

We were referred to International Granite and Stone through COSTCO for Cambria countertops. A rather high-pressure salesman came to the house and after his presentation, really wouldn’t take no for an answer to allow us to consider his offer overnight. He kept shaving off dollars from the price and deleting services to lower the price, do your own plumbing? $800 off, touch up the walls and repaint? $150 off....and if we paid in full, TODAY, we could get another $200 off. Hard sell. The timeline for install went as planned. I was told for 4 countertops; 4 hrs. Because of lack of planning, lack of proper tool / equipment and training and improper measurements, there were at least 4 occasions where this job would not have been completed without my intervention. And it took 10 hours. Then the problems started.1. Shutoff valves under 2 sinks failed requiring the house water to be shut off. If I didn’t replace them, we’d have no water. The non-English speaking installers were not able. I did.2. The installers came to me in their “English” that our vanities were mismeasured and the sinks wouldn’t fit unless they cut the vanities inside. Sure. Later they came back and asked to borrow some of my tools because theirs weren’t working. Sure3. Again, a problem. A slab of granite wouldn’t fit because and outlet and switch on one wall was blocking its placement. I cut the power and removed the outlet and switch. Poor planning.4. Again… Can you help us and hold the granite while we place it? We don’t want it to break? Seriously? Sure. So, 4 times., 4 times. The installers ultimately did a good job, but at what price? Then things get uglyThe water in the house is off. Around 420pm I wander around to check on progress and opened the bathroom door. One of the installers is clearly finishing pooping… I close the door and shout out apologies! This isn’t good, the water is off! I go turn on the water to the house, knowing that the shutoff valves have been changes by me and there were no reports of other issues, not that the installers could speak English!I went back to check on things 15 or so minutes later. There was a river of water running through our bathroom and bedroom over hardwood floors!!! I turned off the water at the main again and called for help. It turned out that they broke a pipe behind one of the vanities they were working on when the removed the old sink. We called the company to send help but nothing. I finally convinced the production supervisor to come and survey the damage. I got pushback that it was after hours and no plumber was available. He got a plumber to come at 630pm. He didnt lift a finger to help his guys. They brought wrong parts and had to come back the next day. the next afternoon when they agreed to send a water remediation company to fix things. I left work to meet this guy and he recommended blowers and dehumidifiers for all the water in the walls and flooring. He finally left in disgust when the company could not authorize the work. I spoke with Mike, the VP who said he could not authorize the work and that he couldn’t get past the fact that I turned on the water without telling his guys. This company wants to take no responsibility for this. I turned on the water, yes. They broke the pipe. I didn’t.In thinking about it later, the installers were working grinding and cutting the quartz and granite with no eye, hearing or breathing protection. Being clearly immigrant, I suppose that they are afraid to complain. I can imagine what their lungs are like?We contracted with the water remediation company for cleanup at my cost ($750).I heard nothing from IGS until 3 days later when I sent a detailed letter of the events to Mike the VP, warning him that if things were not resolved that reports would be sent to not only as many review sites as I could findI initially wanted a cleanup and fix the damage. And they ignored me.Would you do business with a company that turned their backs on you?

Marcus and Jessica from IGS were great. They arrived to our house right on time, were very professional, kind, knowledgeable and helpful. They were genuine in their effort to help us come up with the best quartz option to do in our kitchen. They were super patient and helpful as we looked at all of the options (IGS has a lot of counter top colors and patterns to choose from). They were no-pressure sales professionals, which we appreciated. Also great with our kids, who were acting crazy as they took measurements, pictures and did a thorough inspection of our current quartz counter tops. One of the things we liked was the presentation on the laptop, as well as the fact that they have been in business for so long and dont use any sub contractors. This means a lot when we have a project that includes electrical, plumbing, etc.My advice to anyone considering IGS is to set aside about 2 hours for your in-home appointment. May sound like a long time, but believe me its worth every minute as IGS accounts for every detail and answers every question to ensure we get the perfect counter top and project.End result is they gave us a very fair proposal for a quality product and what essentially amounts to a kitchen remodel. We liked it so much and were so comfortable with Marcus and Jessica that we signed on the spot. Really looking forward to having IGS carry out our project, which will feature new quartz counter tops, going from a high bar to a flat bar kitchen counter, a new sink and LED lightning under out cabinets, which will look great.
