Had a wonderful time with Associate Sam whose knowledge of carpeting was amazing. He was extremely helpful in assisting us in determining approximate costs and how various other choices can make a difference. We were very pleased with the store but especially with Sam.When were ready to buy well be seeing Sam for our carpeting needs.
I recently stopped by the N Washington Blvd store looking for carpeting. I was greeted by a saleswoman who was friendly and seemed knowledgable. She was not wearing a mask. So I kept my distance. After several minutes I was ready to buy. But i did not feel comfortable around her so I asked her to wear a mask. She replied, with an air of defiance, I dont have a mask. I immediately left.Manasota Flooring has a pop up message on their website stating their commitment to their customers health and safety during this pandemic. Obviously this person did not get the message. Its a shame that Manasota Flooring employs people who dont care about their customers health and safety.I went elsewhere that day and spent nearly $3000 on carpeting.
Impressive selection of flooring. Nice competent staff.
My husband works there and keeps a wonderful warehouse clean and the company clean as well 🤠 wouldnt explain it more better then a wonderful place to get good flooring
I work for a home builder in the area and we have contracts with Manasota for all our tile, wood, vinyl, carpet, cabinet and paver tasks in the vast majority of the homes we build. My contacts in each respective department are top notch professionals who go above and beyond to help us deliver high quality finished homes to our clients. In the event that issues arise with installations, they are promptly acknowledged and addressed without delay or excuses. Incredible follow up and follow through from the entire team.I am especially grateful for:1) Laura Ascherman (Sales)- this lady is a ROCK STAR and has yet to provide anything less than out of this world attention and service since I’ve had the pleasure of working with her.2) Trevor Beeman (Warranty Supervisor)- this guy is the real deal and represents the textbook definition of solid customer service. Not only has Trevor personally come out to my jobs after his long days to help me make everything absolutely perfect for the homeowners, but he’s always willing to share his knowledge and experience with me if I ever encounter something I’m not quite sure how to fix/address. He’s been an amazing resource and has helped me to become a stronger employee for my own company because of his willingness to educate and explain.3) Jose Blas (Paver Install Manager)- another huge asset to this company. Jose has also been a tremendous resource for me in learning more about paver installation techniques, requirements, materials, etc. Aside from being such a down to earth, fun to talk to guy- he’s always willing to go the extra mile to help me out in a pinch. Jose is someone I know I can count on to step in and help personally with installs/repair work should I ever need him to do so.Finding someone with that willingness to do whatever it takes for the customer is so rare these days. His commitment to quality and service is so very, very appreciated.10/10 recommend Manasota for any and every service they offer. You guys are the best!
Great experience! Mike Benson was awesome at helping us get everything completed in a timely manner. We love our floors and highly recommend them!
Knowledgeable. Professional. Sam is great to work with. 1st met Sam for a living/dining room job 8/2015. Am so happy Im back for flooring for kitchen & front porch. Awesome company with great employees & installers.
Friendly, experienced sales professionals. Excellent carpet quality and professional installation. We had carpet installed on the stairway and landing of our second story condo and could not be happier with how it turned out.
Just bought a new house and they did the tile work. Initially there were a couple spots that needed some attention and I was very worried about whether or not they would make things right—especially after my first interaction. Then they sent Dan out. Dan is probably one of the best if not THE best flooring guys I’ve had work on my house. He is patient, considerate, and he can be trusted to do the job right. Service and accountability matter. Good job
My wife and I were looking for 2 area rugs for a new house. We spoke to Chris and picked out a carpet we liked. He was supposed to get back to us with a price the next day. We didn’t hear back from Chris for a couple days. We left a message for him, but he didn’t return our call. I can only imagine what their service is like after they have your payment. It must be nice to be so busy that you can treat customers like this (although the store was empty when we were there). Lots of other options for rugs.
Way too expensive for installation, shop around
Greeted and served right away. Most helpful. Enjoyable to work with.
After spending 2 visits in the showroom and having a salesperson come out and measure I have yet to receive a quote. Not a call, email or text. Must be they have more business than they can handle.
Great sales person.
They have just about anything that you could need for your floor and if they dont have it they will send you to someone who does. Nicest and most helpful people you can find. Great place! Plenty of parking. Bayside of 41.
Mike Benson, was fantastic in helping us find the right flooring.
Awesome place. Very professional and work is grade A
Our builder taylor morrison used this company for all the flooring and tile work in the house. The quality of the work wasnt even at apprentice level. Tile laid in the wrong direction, most of our glass tile backsplash chipped, two different colors of grout in the same area etc. since it was under the builder warranty they came back numerous times but all they managed to do was make a huge mess in the house which they didnt clean and replace crappy work with more crappy work. I would avoid this company at all costs.
Lovely new show room, friendly staff, will be back!
I had a great expectation of the work to be done relying on the flooring salesperson and his experience. The problems began at installation when the workmen were asked questions and pretended not to understand English. They did not want to do the work outlined in the contract like clean up their mess by sweeping up the debris. They did not want to caulk where needed for a nice finish. I swept the floor because the smart ass was upset that I did not say please when I asked if he was planning on cleaning up before putting furniture in place. In addition they damaged a wall in my master bedroom which I spackled and repainted. My spouse and I ended up replacing the furniture and area rug. Need I say more.. The installers will not win any award for customer service. How did the salesperson responsible handle this part? Well he spoke to his installer who said they only like to do jobs for Builders where the houses are empty and they do not have to work with the public. As you can imagine this was fruitful.Next, I noticed the transition from my existing Hardwood flooring and the abutting trim about 4 feet away was gunstock brown and the installed transition to the new flooring was light colored. I called the salesman who Gabe me a salespitch about customer service stating that they wanted me happy. I was asked to send pictures of the transition strip needing to be duplicated and installed. I complied within minutes. The phone call the following day was very interesting..The Salesman who professes to be an expert tells me it was my responsibility to point out that I wanted the transition to match. He never questioned me when he did the estimate. So blaming me as the customer was the salesmans solution. He did say he would call me back after he spoke to the installation manager. Well.. its 2 weeks later and I am not holding my breathe!Whats also important to note .. over the past 3 years I have spent over $20,000 with thisCompany! Do you think I will even consider using them again?
I bought a high end laminate from Manasota flooring which I had my commercial contractor friend who builds CVS and Walgreens stores install for me. After 6 months I noticed the edges of my laminate were flaking off to reveal the cardboard material under it. I tried to touch it up with wood finish sticks but it became a problem everywhere. I should have listened to my installer when he informed me the laminate was junk as he installed it but I figured Manasota flooring had quality products and that it was warrantied. When I went back to the showroom to inquire how I would make a warranty claim, the elderly lady at the desk was rude and accusing me of abusing the product before anyone even saw it and of improper install. I realized then that they just SAY its warrantied when they NEVER actually take care of the problem. The lady was too quick to blame the customer and I knew it would be a waste of my time to have them come inspect my floor. I certainly wont be buying any flooring material from them in the future. I didnt appreciate the difference in attitude between my handing them my hard earned money and then my having a problem.
My experience with Manasota Flooring was not impressive. From the moment we walked in the door we were not greeted properly. We stated we were there shopping for both carpet and vinyl plank flooring. The type of carpet we were shopping for was berber. We asked the saleswoman where the displays were for berber and she simply pointed all around the room (from a still position) saying, theres berber over there, theres berber over here, theres berber in the back, front etc...you get the idea. She did not take us and show us around in any way. Not helpful at all. In fact quite useless. I could have walked into a wholesale warehouse and had better quality customer service than that. The saleswoman that helped us was pretty much asleep at the wheel. Very slow, not computer savvy and not quick on the draw. She should probably be working at a library. Thats more her pace. She also goes out and takes measurements at peoples homes so she is not able to be reached by phone at all times. Its quite frustrating actually. It seems to me that salespeople belong in the showroom not in the field. The occasions that I called in to check on my order or ask a question I was told that she was the only person that could assist me and I would have to leave a message. You mean to tell me that no one else can go into the computer and check on something??? Thats very strange and unusual. Certainly not a thorough way of doing business in the 21st century! We ended up purchasing vinyl plank flooring from them which we love!! It was a specific, new to the market type/brand which only 2 companies had heard of ( one of which was Manasota flooring) that is the ONLY reason we went with them). It was to my understanding that the install would be done in 1 day. Well that DIDNT happen. In fact it was over the course of THREE days! I wish I had been better informed by the sales department that this was not an 8 hour job. Then I could have planned and adjusted my schedule better to accommodate a three day install. What a nuisance. The installer is employed directly by Manasota flooring so I had higher expectations than I would have if I had hired an installer on my own. The installer did what appears to be a good job installing. I am hoping there are no regrets on down the road with the craftsmanship. At this point I am just waiting on a return call with the status of the thresholds (transition pieces) that separate one room from another. The ones that were initially ordered will not accommodate the height of the flooring, so the installer returned them to the warehouse and instructed the sales department to order others. I am looking forward to being done with this transaction. Im tired of having the installer back and forth several times to complete this job! I think Manasota has great products to offer and high potential, but they need to sharpen and tighten up their sales and service staff. A good strong manager could bring things up to par.
Terrible management. Low moral for employees. Worst equipment ever
We are very sorry we called this company. We had flooring installed less than a year ago and it is already cracking and peeling. We have called several hundred times and NEVER NEVER get a return call back.
Rip off stay away
