They were fast, cooperative and reasonable.
Always very helpful.
Back in late January of 2020 I visited the service dept. at Infiniti of Sarasota for an oil change & tire rotation at 24341mi. on my 2017 Q70L while I waited. When that work was completed, the service advisor went over the courtesy multipoint inspection results with me, indicating that my passenger side tires were needing replacement at 3/32” tread depth, and the rear brake pads needed replacement at 3mm thickness. I declined any of the supposedly needed work as there were less than 25000 miles on the car, and these repairs seemed to be quite early for such a low mileage.I returned home from Florida early June and in July I brought my car to my local Infiniti dealer for my state’s required motor vehicle safety inspection. The results were satisfactory and I was issued the windshield sticker showing such. My cost was $37.00 compared to the approximately $700.00+ for brake work and two 20” low profile tires. My conclusion: As I was an out of state customer and likely not to challenge the multipoint results, I tend to think I may have been a candidate for unnecessary and therefore fraudulent repairs to my car. My knowledge of the driving and maintenance histories of my vehicle gave me an edge in this event.Subsequently, I cannot recommend the service department at Infiniti of Sarasota to anyone expecting honest professional service for their automobile.
