We purchased our 2016 Mercedes GLC 300 from this dealership two years ago, and at that time we purchased an extended warranty and maintenance agreement. At the time of purchase we were told that we wouldnt have to pay for anything on our vehicle for the next 4 years.We recently had trouble with the Auxiliary Battery light coming on. My wife called the dealership and made an appointment for service. She was never told by our service rep that this was not covered by our warranty or maintenance program an there would be a charge.Unfortunately, when my wife got to the dealership she was told that the battery replacement would cost $300 +. At that time, she as asked about the warranty and was told there was none. She decided to go ahead with the work as she was already there an had traveled cross town to the dealership.I contacted the service rep, Courtney, and asked why my wife wasnt informed over the phone that this item was not under maintenance or warranty. She told me that she was never asked that question so she couldnt answer it. It seems that dont ask dont tell is alive and well here.We definitely felt that we were being handled here and that was disappointing.We do accept responsibility for making the decision to have the work done, but we feel this practice was, at the least, very deceptive.I guess if we need any work done under our warranty or maintenance agreement well be sure to ask our questions and get prices before going to this dealership again.....Tom Grosso

Had an appointment for collision. Extremely unorganized. I had to confirm my appointment as there is very little communication. Upon drop off at Service, no attendant around. So i parked behind a car. Attendant moves that car and returns to the podium, ignoring me. Finally he told me to leave my car. Noone inside to help. Had to ask for help. Collision desk not even available. Was told to leave my keys. Just an unsettling experience. Hope they will be able to find my car.

This is what happens when your brand becomes successful and is in demand. You become lazy, inattentive and blaise about the sales process and customer service suffers. I have had a much better experience with the BMW dealer in Lakeland..they take care of the customer and make the buying experience enjoyable.

We visited Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota during the Coronvirus scare. We were pleased to see all the effort made to protect customers and employees during test drives, sitting at desks in the showroom and conducting business. Tucker Kittle was outstanding to work with as a sales person. He was low key, helpful, willing to provide service even when it appeared we were just starting our journey in buying a car, still wanting to test drive other models. He ended up with the sale and we never drove those other models. He is doing many things right! He worked with us in test driving a GLA, GLC and GLE. We hope to have many years of use out of our new to us pre-owned Mercedes GLE 350.

This is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. My 2018 E300 which I bought 13 months ago and has less than 10,000 miles is almost destroyed because of a water leak! Repair is probably 20,000 to 30,000 dollars and even though, it is,of course, covered under warranty, they don’t want to honor their responsibility and told me to call my insurance company! I will persist, but am appalled at their complete lack of professionalism and fairness. A word to the wise, buyer beware, when considering this dealership. A nightmare!

Expected my arrival, took me right in. Waiting lounge was comfortable, coffee, water and a cookie. Car was ready when told it would be and washed.

My first service I had there was an excellent rating they answered all my questions and did the work in a timely fashion
