The Chocolate Smith is a must do on every trip I make to Santa Fe. My last trip in 2019 was no different and I will be in Santa Fe in about three weeks and I absolutely will make a stop. I have always found the staff to be helpful, the chocolate supreme and with combinations I would never have thought of myself. Can’t wait to get back.
THE premiere chocolate shop the state, likely in the time zone. Go and get one of everything, and dont overlook the barks and brittles.
Poor quality chocolate, extremely expensive. $35 a pound.
The peanut butter bars are to die for!!!!
I love the Chocolate Smith, local, high quality ingredients, great taste, and creative looking!
Great quality chocolate at a respectable price. The people who work there are very friendly and are willing to give samples. You can even see where the chocolates are made.
Some lovely and some very unusual chocolates here. Not sure I liked everything, but it was all worth trying. My friend about choked on one of the dark chocolate and chile chocolates, having forgotten what was going to be in it, but were going back tomorrow for more before we leave town. Id suggest buying one of each thing youre interested in, then buying more if you like it.
This place was recommended by a friend. The woman was super friendly and answered all of our questions. We were able to try samples of the chocolate bark. I dont know that we will come again because they only have white chocolate, and dark chocolate. We were also wanting some milk chocolate.
I have been to the ChocolateSmith and its amazing. Love the dark chocolate and my favorite is the white chocolate and lavender. I will surely go back. I have also ordered chocolate for Christmas gifts and they loved it as well.
Killer chocolate shop! One of my favorites in the USA, their peanut butter bars and lavender lemon bark are my favorites!
One of my mandatory must-stops in Santa Fe. Far beyond an average chocolate shop, ChocolateSmiths concoctions are the best. Try some with green chile in the recipe for outstanding local flavor.
We had the pleasure of having some delicious chocolate/pie at the Plactias Holiday Sale. It was absolutely amazing!! The owners are super friendly and they put out superb confections.
Pretty store with nice gift items and chocolates with many unique flavors. Local specialties like Chile chocolate or chocolate with pistachios.
Small chocolate shop, all hand made here.
The chocolate smith has a mouse infestation. The chocolate they are selling has been contaminated by mouse feces!!!! Do not buy chocolate here!!! I know first hand. I worked here for nearly a year and recently quit because I refuse to sell people chocolate that could potentially get them sick. I found feces all over their retail chocolate, and Ive found cockroaches all over their facility. If you enjoy mouse feces in your chocolate then this is the place for you!
Best chocolate Ive ever tasted, and Im from San Francisco! Great variety of dark chocolates, and I love the White Chocolate Lemon Lavender Bark.
The best chocolate in Santa Fe
Lovely chocolates! I pick up a gift box for gifts when I travel.
They have a delicious selection and super friendly staff.
Best Chocolate store in the west always enjoy the toffee bark
Very friendly staff, helped us pick a few out. The price is a little high but the flavor is good.
Chocolate items are great. Staff to pushy to get you out the door.
Best chocolate ever. Simple, smooth, rich taste.
Excellent chocolate - Try the Mountain Bark!
Tasty chocolate, plus they deliver.
Best red chili almonds
I didnt buy anything, but they did let me sample chocolate, which I appreciated
Chocolate! What else do I need to say 😃
Fabulous!
Marvelous!
