I am very impressed with my oil change experience! I had early appointment and they did not make me to wait for even 5 minutes. Omar M, who met me first, was super friendly, informative and went above and beyond to make my experience almost like a holiday! I even got complimentary Uber ride to a coffeeshop while waiting!!I had oil change, tire rotation and car inspection for the best price in Santa Barbara!They have a great team there and I π― % recommend to try their service!!
This was only my second time coming here for service the first time was great but my second time around was a little bumpy. I dropped off the car early in the morning hoping to get it before noon which was confirmed by the service rep. I had to call back just before 12 to ask if it was ready and they said they called me already to pick it up (*has no missed calls) and then proceeded to get a phone call after the fact letting me know that my car was ready. They are very helpful and service is efficient I just wish communication was more on point and accurate.Thanks Perry Ford!
While in a trip with the family we were having issues with our new Ford Mach E and DC charging. We stopped by Perry Ford and are so happy we did. Omar in the service department was super fast and helpful. Between Omar and Chris, their Mach E mechanic, they were able to fix the issue we were having with the vehicle. It turned it that we needed a software update. They also took care of a recall right there and then dealing with the phone key. Both Omar and Chris were friendly and professional. They came through in a pinch and saved our family trip.

Initially purchasing my Nissan was a great experience I got a lot of help with it being my first car purchase. My first maintenance was really cool too Omar helped me and explained everything and answered all my newbie car maintenance questions. The only thing that Im still not too happy about is I havent received my correct car manual from them and I bought this car Dec 2020. But overall I highly recommend this dealership. Staff are pretty chill and super welcoming which is a feeling you dont get everywhere.
Perry Ford has taken excellent care of my car and my recent visit was no exception. Since I hadnt been for a while due to the pandemic, there were a few issues to be addressed. Ive brought my car here 2x and had great experiences both times and was always helped by Grant. The first time I brought my car there, my bluetooth stopped working right before a road trip and I needed the battery disconnected/reconnected. I went down there first thing in the morning and Grant had it fixed right away! The second time (also before an unplanned road trip) I needed my ignition fixed and was having a really difficult time starting my car. Grant had me come right now and they had my car fixed in less than 2 hours. The woman on the phone was extremely helpful & I have nothing but great things to say about this place!
When I arrived to pick up my care it took the lady in the front desk 5 minutes to acknowledge me didnβt even tell me can you please wait. After she took my name told me my paperwork work was not ready to go pick it up from Omar. After I was waiting for my car to arrive I told the gentleman thank you and he didnβt even look at me or say anything just walked away. Horrible customer service.

While the oil leak in our car was fixed for over $1200, it took TEN days and when we finally got our car back, it was beyond filthy. It looked like they had left it in a dust storm with the windows down. Wr had to go through 2 rounds of rental cars because their estimates of when the car would be ready were wrong. We had to call THEM to find that out as well. They just never called.It was unprofessional and frustrating. I gave 2 stars I stead of one because they were nice enough people. But in addition to the $1200 price tag we had to spend over $600 in rental fees.We will be going elsewhere from now on.

Grant is great about prepping the vehicle when I let him know were going on a long road trip, and he makes sure to check in for approval on additional work when the crew finds something that needs attention.

I cannot express how rudely Omar in service treated me. I had made an appointment, showed up on time, and he acted as if it was the greatest effort to even speak to me. When I described the problems my car was having, he contradicted me and belittled me. After 5 hours and hearing nothing, I called to check in and Omar hung up on me. When I called back he said that they had other cars in the shop and that I needed to wait my turn. He then proceeded to talk down to me, call me a liar, and then hung up on me again. I will never take my car back here.

I have been a loyal Ford customer for many years. In the last 5 years alone Iβve purchased 2 Escapes, 2 Edge Sports, and an F-150. To say I like Ford would be an understatement. Until... I had an unfortunate event that led me to Perry Ford of Santa Barbara.My F-150 had a transmission failure while I was on the 101 freeway. I thought I had lucked out because Perry Ford was nearby (I donβt live near there) so I asked the tow truck driver to take it there. Upon arrival I was told they would take a look at it the following day and get back to me. After waiting all day, without a return call I called them and was told they had not looked at it yet. Iβm a patient guy so I waited until the following week and called back to discover they were just starting to look at it. A week after that they told me they had submitted the issue to Ford (warranty issue) and were waiting to hear back. They promised to call me back but never did. Two weeks later (and multiple failed return calls) they finally got approval to order parts from Ford. They promised me that as soon as the parts came in they would get right on it, but once again (after the parts came in) they hadnβt done any work. Needless to say I filed a complaint with Ford Motor which suddenly got them working on my truck but even then it took another week. Finally, 5 weeks later, after several failed promises and failures to communicate with me, I was told my truck is ready. At that point I was ready to forgive all and part on a friendly basis. But of course my transmission crapped out on my way home and itβs now at another Ford dealership waiting to get a whole transmission replacement.On a scale of 1-10 Iβd give this place a 1 for communication, a 1 for timeliness, and a big fat ZERO for work product. And just so you donβt think Iβm some disgruntled βKarenβ take a look at some other reviewers who suffered the same fate. My advice, go elsewhere.

I always Come here because I bought my car There, and always I do an oil changed and inspection. One of the employees called me and I didnβt quite understand all the problem about my car, because I over heard it was going to be about 600 dollars. So I told him to do the work. I was going to pay almost 1600 dollars, but the guy supposedly gave me a discount and lowered it to 900. I talked to a friend who knows about all stuff and they told me that I could had paid less somewhere else. I was sad because I honestly donβt know anything about car. Now I knowβ¦

I complained that in my prior visit for a recall repair they kept the car all day and I had to take two buses home and two back. Further, the dealership in Oxnard told me they could get it done in two hours. After asking for my keys to leave I was offered a ride home and delivery of my car to my house after the repair was completed. I agreed and as a result I was satisfied with my visit.

Super smooth process did the whole thing virtually just showed up to sign and drop off a check the next day. Great service and they even sent the car up to slo for us. My only complaint is that we bought an electric car and they delivered it with not even a quarter charge we had to pay to charge it as it wouldnt make it home.
I really like my service advisor; he is sharp and cares about his customers. However, he is massively overworked. They had my car for 3 weeks. He doesnt have time for personalized care or to regularly follow up on status. I had to call them once a week, myself, to check on it. In the end, the mechanic didnt find or fix the cause of my issue, although he did detect it. In the past, I have also found that they are not good at finding or fixing squeaks and rattles, which was not the problem for this visit.The dealership is very crowded. They have too much inventory for their size, and cars are crammed in everywhere. There is almost always a backup of vehicles and customers at the service booths. It is difficult to get in and out due to the high congestion.The dealership facility is generally dirty and tired looking. The management clearly does not value cleanliness. Reinforcing this point, they do not wash vehicles that have been serviced, as most dealerships in Santa Barbara do. My car was so filthy when I picked it up (and it was spotless when I dropped it off), you would have thought it was left parked in a hay field with the combine driving all around it for three weeks covering it with debris.If you can go elsewhere, I would recommend avoiding Perry Ford Mazda.
Drove 4 hrs to purchase a Ford Ranger XLT from Perry Ford. They made it worth the drive. The hospitality, kindness, and consideration received by all from this location, will makes us a returning customer in the future. Jerry treated as though wed been friends for years, pleasure working with him. Hands down the worst overall service experience I have ever received from a Ford dealership. When Iβm traveling I take my vehicle to Ford because their techs are usually great, repairs are completed in a timely manner, and the customer service is stellar. I experienced the polar opposite at Perry Ford. Long story short; My diesel van started experiencing the same transmission leak that I brought it in for right after leaving their lot, I ended up waiting nearly 3 weeks for repairs that shouldβve taken a week and half, and their communication was awful. Please read the several other poor service reviews here as well. Read on for the full story.I dropped my van off with a transmission leak, exhaust, and A/C issues on a Thursday. Daryl said they should be able to diagnose the next day or Saturday. I did not receive an update and left a voicemail on Saturday which went unreturned. I called on Monday, left another message that went unreturned, and after a few call attempts was able to reach Daryl who said they would be able to diagnose tomorrow, which they were able to do. 6k for all of the repairs and I was aware that it was a good bit of work for everything so I was prepared to wait a week for parts to arrive and service competed. The parts did not arrive for a week (typical parts delivery is under 48 hours from LA). I again experienced unreturned messages and difficulty reaching someone there during this time. At this point I had been at an RV park for a week and a half with my camper trailer.After the parts arrived on Tuesday Daryl said repairs should be complete in a few days. On Thursday I called in for an update (it took several attempts...again) and Daryl said it would be done tomorrow by end of day. By Friday end of day he βpromisedβ it would be done Monday. End of day Monday, βsorry, it will be done tomorrowβ.The van was completed on Tuesday (2.5 half weeks since I dropped it off). Relieved and eager to continue my drive up to Seattle, I set off. After stopping to get fuel I noticed the transmission was leaking from THE SAME PLACES THAT IT WAS LEAKING FROM BEFORE. I am now at another Ford dealership in San Jose awaiting repairs and a warranty claim against Perry.Daryl did knock off $500 from the bill for the extended delay. I was calm and patient throughout the entire repair as I understand shops are busy, perhaps theyβre understaffed/overworked, etc. However, after experiencing the same issue that I initially came in for the amount that I had just spent, Iβm incredibly disappointed with every facet of my experience at Perry Ford.
I had the cam phasers replaced on my 2018 Raptor by my local Santa Maria dealership and they did not reconnect my battery to my alternator correctly, causing me to lose all power (not fun losing power steering, breaking, and gas while going 75mph on 101) and breakdown this Saturday on the 101 freeway. Omar went above and beyond; he just didnβt take my truck and say we will call you later next week; rather he jumped on it right away and even had Chris his awesome technician jump on it. Within 45 minutes I was back on the road instead of my family being stranded thanks to these two gentlemen. I canβt thank them enough and it has restored my confidence in Ford service. Even though I live 55 miles away, I will be back for any future issues I have. Perry Ford should celebrate having two All Stars like Chris and Omar on their team.

Keeping a customer aware of the status of their car would be helpful even when one of your employees might have a day off! I shouldnβt have to wait for your employee to return while my car being put on hold while he was away! Respond accordingly and keep customer aware of what is going on with their vehicle.

Service employees are decent, ride service is nice ! Only downside is they donβt wash cars which I find weird since Honda always did it for me. Omar and Grant are very great at getting back to you right away. Prices are high but youβre bound to pay them at the dealership, you pay for what you get. However be weary of dealership prices VS buying the product yourself and just paying them for labor. (Window wipers for example you save $$ buying them yourself and then just having them put them in)

Very poor customer service. Especially the service department. Have a Ford Focus that was taken in few years back because of what felt like a gear slipping and transmission issue. They βcouldnβt find an issueβ and essentially called me crazy and did not one thing to the car. Mind you this car turned off on me twice when getting on the on ramp. They did not one thing. This car has been getting worse since that day so unfortunately I avoided using it. Fast forward to today and was told βyeah this car is junk just junk itβ excuse me sub 116k miles and youβre telling me itβs junk and are not willing to help me at all. Zero advice given other than to junk it. This really goes to show what Fordβs (or at least this local dealership) thinks about their own cars. 116k miles and it is JUNK. WOW! I rarely write reviews and would hope not one other person experiences this horrible βserviceβ thanks for nothing Grant

I finally contacted them in the afternoon because my transportation was going to be gone soon, only to find out that it had been done for awhile.Calling there most of the time I could not get anyone to answer the phone, I had to go ONLINE & do a LIVE CHAT to contact someone.SERVICE was GOOD... COMMUNICATION was NOT SO GOOD...

Always have had great service. They understand all my needs especially with the heavy I put mine through. My service advisor Omar always keeps me informed on status and the charges are exactly as I expected keeping with repair standards. Was on my way to a funeral and my tire started leaking air on my way up to the Bay Area from LA. At first they said there was nothing wrong with the tire and weβre going to send me on my way. I insisted that there was a definite leak that lost 15 lbs of f pressure in 2 miles. Although they werenβt the nicest bunch, they ended up getting the job done. I was thankful they figured out the problem.

There was a recall on door latches. Not knowing this I had the drivers side rear passenger door break. My mechanic tied the door shut and told me about the recall. With the door not being able to latch properly- the lights stayed on and the battery died. Contacted Ford. They said they were not able to take it in for a few days. This was on a Thursday. I decided since it was not drivable- due to the electrical issue - it would be easier to leave it with them. On Tuesday the next week, I was told it would take another 5 days because all the doors had to be done. I asked for a loaner car and was told it wasnβt covered on this recall issue. After much discussion my car was ready Wednesday, only to find out the electrical problem is still a problem. I brought it, let it sit, dead battery! There is still an issue, which I was told β would cost ME at least $150.β This is all resulting in the door problem!!! Why should I have to pay to have this issue resolved???

My carβs electronic suspension went out so I called Perry Ford service department immediately and spoke with Mr. Grant Lee.He was very knowledgeable about my problem with my car and made an appointment for the following morning.My car was taken immediately and before the eNd of business they had my car repaired and washed.I appreciate their good work.Perry Ford is the exclusive dealership I take my car for maintenance and repair.
Easily the most rude and condescending service manager Iβve ever encountered. Ended up going to Ventura because Perry Ford simply didnβt want to fix a warranty issue their own tech diagnosed. Disappointing for sure. Love Ford productsβlife long fan. Apparently Perry Ford doesnβt get reimbursed enough for warranty issues so they try and avoid them. Totally broken system this dealership has with Ford. Again, hate to give a 1* but wish I could have read this review before buying from them.
The service has always been excellent at Perry. They not only do a great job servicing the vehicles but Also answering questions so you understand whatβs going on.

Omar in the Service Department treated us with extraordinary care. The stress of being on the road with a breakdown was relieved during a camping trip because Omar took extra measures to ensure that our needs were met including provision of a rental car, expedited services ahead of local jobs, and even through in a couple last minute discounts. Omar is the best! Really smooth experience and quick honest
The technicians were very courteous and the truck was done on time. There were two issues, besides the 20,000 mile service. 1) the automatic engine stop and start was not working because the battery charging device was not working properly and 2) there was an undesirable odor when starting the engine in the morning.Item 1) was well taken care of but item 2) was NOT. Cab filter was replaced. I suggested flushing the AC system, instead only the filter(s) was (were) replaced. Hence four instead of five stars.
