Had a problem (car not registering that it is in park) two years ago. The fix did not last and Bunnin did not stand by their work and I need to pay 400 to get it fixed again. This is the second time they have not fixed a common electrical failure properly for me. I paid 700 to get a driving assist disabled fixed and I still get the error on and off to this day. I get that some of this is GM and what they pay the dealer. I wont buy GM again.Update: Bunnin worked with GM and got the electrical error covered and paid for by GM. I appreciate the follow through.

The parts install went great. Ive been having an ignition issue with my brand new truck and captured video of the issue which I shared with Dan. This has happened 3 times in the short month Ive owned my brand new truck. I was told by 2 different people that similar issues have happened for others trucks. Dan was great and logged the issue but seems service team doesnt want to do anything at this stage. Definitely concerned that this is happening in a new vehicle and worried about getting stranded. It has happened 3 times. Not once. And I have the video of exactly what is happening. I will keep documenting & capturing video as advised.

I came in with my mother to ask about checking our scores and see if I can get a car possibly with a co-signer being my mom. As soon as we walk in and ask for someone we are greeted by a nice member and we come to find out that I won’t necessarily need a co-signer so we continue to look over cars I’m interested and found my now 2020 Nissan Rogue and I really like it. We go back inside and got what we need to do and met Bryan. Honestly the sweetest, funny, prompt, and thorough person ever! I am pleased and satisfied with the transaction and for this being my first time I thought we’re going to be in there longer but I got this done in a span of like 3-4 hours. I work 12+ hr shifts so this was like a nice 2hrs for me felt like. I wasn’t rushed or anything like that and the next day I was able to drive my car and I still can’t believe I have my own car. The next day I had forgotten I had a car and when I remembered I was nervous to take it out and wear it out but I felt confident and good about my purchase! As a woman I’ve gone with my mother to other dealerships and we’ve always had bad experiences where we weren’t even spoken to after being acknowledged or asked for someone to help. Coming to Bunnin is the way to go and I recommend coming here.

At the time that I brought my truck in for an oil change, I asked how long to do the oil change? I would note that at the time that I made the appointment the service writer told me that I would be first in on the lube rack. I asked if it would just be a couple of hours for just an oil change. the service writer said yes. I asked him to call me when it was completed. I now see that it says promised by 1700. I guess that is my fault to not look over completely the agreement. I just believed what he told me. I guess from now on I will take my truck to Simi Valley Chevrolet for service work. You can publish this but I doubt that you will! Goodbye!

Great customer service. Impressed with the diagnostic process. I was informed of every possibility for repairs. I had taken my car to a mechanic, and was told catalytic converter needed replacement. Bunnin checked out other malfunctions that affected the sensor related to the catalytic convertor. I was shown photos of the replaced parts. Thank you

Truck sensors went out causing extreme loss of power. Took truck in and showed service writer the warning lights (also received sensor warning email) and was told since there was no appt scheduled, it may take 3 weeks to get service. Left truck for 4 days and was told they could not duplicate problem and they would keep the truck until the problem duplicated. Since this is not our 1st go around with this problem of your mechanics not being able to diagnose whats wrong and keeping the truck for indefinite periods of time and even letting your mechanic take our truck home to Lompoc under the pretense of road testing, the truck was picked up and taken to another local mechanic shop, where in 24 hours, the problem was diagnosed and fixed and smogged, which is something else we were told Bunnin cant do. Always leave Bunnin feeling gouged.

Bunnin Chrevrolet Cadillac sold my parents a lemon! They purchase a 2014 Nissan Sentra and the transmission is going out, there are issues with the brakes, and engine issues. In addition to that they sold my parents an extended warranty for near $4,000 but only covers 50% on maintenance. My parents took the car back and they said that there is nothing wrong with the car. They are old and Bunnin took advantage of them. I’m getting an attorney! NEVER BUY FROM THIS DEALER!

The Manager of Service Department essentially admitted to offering poor and inadequate customer service by stating, “we didn’t drop the ball we just did not meet your expectations.” Chevy failed to simply inform me at the end of the day that my car would not be available for until at least the end of the next day despite assuring me it would be ready for pick up same day. (I had to call at 4:30 PM and was transferred across 3 people). He belittled me and gaslighted me into thinking I had expectations that could not be met and that I should not have expected a call - I think the average person expects a call?Also stated that I had not “paid anything” after I had just explained that I had to pay for ubers/lyfts to get home and to work the next day.Lastly, the Manager refused to acknowledge the mistake and miscommunication and rather said I received great customer service and was “lucky to have my car after two days.”I expressed my dissatisfaction per the blurb on the invoice, “anything less than COMPLETELY satisfied is failure in our eyes.”

Found a car online that I wanted and was around the right price. Called up to the dealership and had the pleasure of speaking with Cody, who promptly went on the lot to confirm the car was there. Upon arrival, Cody had the car at the front of the dealership and ready to test drive. Loved the car! Negotiating a price was a breeze and finishing paperwork with Sal was awesome! We were in and out in a little more than an hour.Thank Cody & Sal for making the process easy and quick! We love our car!Update:Found out the car we bought had, 10 days after we had it, 1.5 quarts of oil in the engine(the engine requires 6 quarts) after the low oil level notification turned on. Disappointed the service guys didn’t catch this before selling the car during their inspection and supposed oil change as indicated on car fax. Luckily the dealership agreed to pay for the oil change that we had to pay for at our local dealership which notified us of the lack of oil in the engine.Knocked down from 5 to 4 stars. Just glad the engine wasn’t damaged.

I’ve had my car for three years and have had to bring it in to the shop 7 times and every time it’s for the same problem. it has always been covered by the factory warranty but the inconvenience of going in 7 times in three years took a toll they also won’t give me a lender car for work since my car is always in the shop. Do yourself a favor don’t buy a Chevy Cruze and don’t do it here

Though Bunnin Chevrolet and Cadillac in Santa Barbara is not my local dealer, I had heard so many great things about their customer service I decided to purchase my new 2020 Corvette from them.. Though the GM plant had multiple issues with a strike and then dealing with the myriad issues of Covid, Juan, my Salesperson at Bunnin kept me fully informed and up to date throughout the process. Any and all questions were answered quickly, efficiently and professionally in a manner that felt like I was chatting with a friend rather than a business relationship..Once the car arrived at the dealership I was notified the same day that the car would be ready that afternoon if I would like to pick it up.. This meant the staff went to work on the car as soon as it arrived knowing that it would mean a great deal to me.I arrived at the dealership a bit earlier than our agreed to time.. Rather than sit in the waiting room, I was introduced to the great guys prepping the car along with the wonderful staff that would be handling my paper work.. Each and everyone of these amazing folks treated me like family as we chatted about the amazing new vehicle, other auto related events and other interesting thoughts in general.. Once the paper work began it was simple, fast, professional with each page of each document being fully explained before signing. No pushy salesman stuff, again, more like a friend or family member working with me and for me..This car and my entire experience at Bunnin Chevrolet and Cadillac in Santa Barbara, Ca. has far exceeded my expectations.. ADA Nightmare - Staff have a practice of parking new vehicle inventory and customers vehicles in for service, in their ADA parking spaces. Their location is over crowded and do not maintain accessible isle widths. Complaints to manager and owner were dismissed and or unanswered. Only after filing a complaint with the US Attourney General did they change their practices.

Worst experience Ive ever had with a dealership. I was trying to purchase a used vehicle remotely. I contacted the dealership to make sure it was still available, and it was. I asked if I could have the car inspected by a third-party and they agreed, and even brought it to the shop for me which I thought was good service. The inspector took pictures and got back to me, and I decided to move forward with purchasing the vehicle. We negotiated a price and I paid a $1,000 deposit on my credit card to hold the car until my check arrived at the dealership (which was being overnighted). I sent them my approval letter and they were in contact with my bank. Signed all the paperwork, car was purchased. The next day the owner of the dealership calls and tells me the vehicle had been sold to someone else. After I had already paid my deposit, gotten insurance, had my bank sending the check, and signed the paperwork. I asked what happened and all he could say was he didnt know, and that his son was the one who worked out the deal with me. I thought this was just ridiculous and seemed like something fishy was going on. I got the refund for my deposit and ran the other way. Seemed like good people at first, but clearly dont have their ducks in a row. Other reviews look hit or miss, but I wouldnt recommend chancing it with this dealership when purchasing a vehicle is such a big expense. There are other options out there who take care of their customers and know what theyre doing.

This is the second vehicle I have purchased at Bunnin. I live in San Diego, and drive 3 1/2 hours to your dealership specifically because of the excellent service I receive from Gregorio and Brian. Their communication and customer service is superb. This is something that is hard to find in the car sales industry. Was in the market for a 2500 chevy silverado. Bunnin had good deals on the trucks was not ready to pull the trigger in December. But I was researching and saw they had a 2021 2500 Silverado diesel for sale. I called and Gregorio answered and couldnt have been more pleased with how he helped me through the whole process. I give him an A+ he kept in contact the whole day until he got to my residence with the truck. This is my second truck from Chevy and the internet processed seemed quick and they didnt really try and add all these other products I did not want. The staff there really went out of there way to work within my budget, didn’t push anything on me that I couldn’t afford, and made me feel comfortable and confident in my choice. I have never owned a Chevrolet before. Now I am a proud owner of a quality brand new American Made Chevrolet Trax Ltd. NOT RECOMMENDED. Scheduled an appointment to test drive the Colorado 2020, I also saw a 2018 Colorado with 30k miles for 27,899. I didn’t want to take the offer since their APR were wayyy to high 3.99%. Manager came outside and offered to give me the 2020 Colorado for the same price EVEN LOWER HE SAID. I test drove the car and when I came back their “OFFER” was $29,899. What type of deal did I get!? NONE. WASTE OF MY TIME I COULD HAVE BEEN OUT OF THERE LONG BEFORE! I could not have had a better experience leasing a car. And this is after going to 6 dealers and working with a broker (who was very helpful in helping me understand a reasonable price)! From the moment Adrian Robles picked up the phone at Bunnin Chevrolet and we discussed price, to him doing the leg work and then calling me back and us coming to a deal truly as fast as Id ever hope for. He was so positive and interested and honest. Once we made the deal both he and finance followed up quickly. And all of this was over the phone as I live in Tarzana. Finance called me and explained and answered my questions clearly and with patience. Within possibly 2 to 2.5 hrs Adrian showed up at my home in Tarzana with my car - the exact car I was hoping for and for the price that I think was really reasonable. Adrian was really patient even though it was 8 pm and he just drove from Santa Barbara. He took his time with the forms I needed to sign. I was really amazed at how much time he took with me to answer questions about the car and functions and he even pointed out things that I wouldnt have even known to ask. He has been really available and responsive by phone, email, and text, post purchase with questions I have had as I get to know my 1st electric car (including a few late night texts the first night that he returned). So i had a slow start but when it was all said and done, i could not be happier with the car itself. the Service Dept (russ) went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of at another dealer since I was out of town.

Bought one vehicle took forever to get the floor mats and XM radio installed. Tried to buyv a second truck they never came through..not even a return phone call. Since when do you have to chase people down to buy a vehicle . STAY AWAY save yourself the grief

They don’t need to sell cars or don’t care to inquired about a truck there gave the guy all the info not gonna mention names yet said he would look into with all the info he had and never herd back them left emails nothing stay away way to many other dealers that want to sell cars.
