Our AC unit stopped blowing cold air and we were pretty sure refrigerant was leaking somewhere. The capacitors were still good and the fans at the condenser and handler were working fine. Weve had AC repairman out so often and spent hours watching YouTube videos that we were pretty sure there was a leak.We were able to schedule service the next day and were greeted by Ferris. He was exemplary. He has a very warm demeanor and loves to explain everything hes doing.After running his routine diagnostics, we went ahead with a leak test and he was able to find the leaking refrigerant at the handler coils.A week later and we now have nice cold AC. They had to order the under-warranty coils. I cant emphasize enough how friendly and professional Ferris is. If I was his supervisor, Id do whatever possible to retain talent like him.Hes the equivalent of Chick-fil-A service, but for AC. We will only ask for Ferris from this point forward. He was INCREDIBLY kind, never pushed us to buy any service or products and explained the pros and cons each step of the way. If we wanted just a quick refill of the refrigerant even though he was sure there was a leak somewhere, hed still pump it for you and be on his way. He would give you his professional recommendation though and tell you that what hes about to do is only a bandage fix.Superb experience and service. Overall fix was a bit pricey but we felt very confident in his services.

Our AC system was not working properly (one of our dampers stopped working) the night before we were scheduled to leave on a vacation. We contacted Facemyer who promptly sent out someone to check our system that night. The repairman was professional and quickly determined what the issue was and was able to fix the system temporarily so we could leave the next day. They ordered the parts to repair the system and fixed it the first Monday we were back in town.

Justin and Andy came out to replace my A/C unit and they did a wonderful job. They arrived right on time and were very polite. This was my first time using this company and I am impressed. The technician diagnosed problem quickly and replaced the broken part. The entire visit was only 15-20 minutes and the customer service was also great. I will definitely recommend this company to everyone I know.

I tried cleaning the condensate line and resetting all the breakers, but my outside AC unit would just not come on. Red from Facemyer was very polite and walked through all the steps for diagnosing the issue. In the end, it was a faulty cut off breaker and Red should me how he tested it so that I could do the same in the future. Absolutely awesome service and professionalism. He got my AC up in no time. Highly recommend!

Very unhappy with the service!!! They charged us for 3.5 pounds of Freon. They were out to the house almost exactly to the day one year ago. They charged us 300% more per pound than one year ago. After they put the Freon in, they tell us that a board was bad in the unit and they would have to order it. Another concern is he cut several wires in the unit before he told us we needed a new board. Then he left without fixing anything and we got a bill for $400.53. Then we went back in the house after he left and found that two of our four thermostats no longer were lite up and they were fine before he showed up. Needless to say we will never, ever use them again and will NOT recommend them to anyone. We just called another major company to come out to fix the unit, which will be sometime tomorrow, meanwhile we have no air conditioning tonight and it’s ninety degrees out!!!

I dealt with every part of this company; the late night weekend on call service, to the Monday morning scheduling office and HVAC service guy in person. Repairing my AC in the middle of August was made as painless as it could be thanks for Facemyer. A woman at the office did extra investigating on a warranty part for me, and was able to save me almost $400. I cant recommend them enough.

Technician explained in detail all issues he found and made sure I understood what to expect if parts would not be replaced. With the repairs done, we feel that the air now is cooler than before. Another company came months ago to do the maintenance and inspection. They gave me an estimate way higher to fix issues they found but they also wanted to push me to get a new system. I’m glad I called Facemyer. My unit is running smoother so far.

The technician Rodney Ferris was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. As soon as he arrived, he heard a noise coming from my AC condenser. He looked at me, and said did you hear that. I responded and said yes, what was that? He removed a panel from the unit, looked at me and said its your capacitor. He described the difference between a working, functional capacitor versus one which has gone out. After discussing the cost, he was pretty much done in less than 30 minutes, and our home began cooling down again. Great Job! and Great Service!!

I cant say enough about the level of service I received from this company. My old HVAC system had a leak in the coil and the coil froze, leaving us without AC in July. My daughter is severely disabled and in a wheelchair, so a quick resolution to minimize our ACs downtime was important. The company went above and beyond to locate a replacement coil and when that was not possible, they scheduled next-day service to put in a new HVAC unit. We have used Facemyer for the past 17 years. They are very responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. We have had many of their technicians service our system, and they are all very professional, however Faris is who I usually ask to come out to do the work. He knows our system and if he is unsure of something, he figures it out without guessing.

The good: Red, a courteous and knowledgeable tech showed up just minutes after I called for service! Amazing!The bad: $100 just to show up ($20 higher than competitors), then another $475 to install parts that I could have purchased from Amazon for $60.So, $575 later my 16 year old A/C is running again, Granted, I couldnt wait days for Amazon to deliver $60 worth of parts for my A/C when its 90 degrees in the shade. But I cant help feel like I was mugged in a dark alley by Facemyer Air Conditioning. I couldnt possibly recommend them at the outrageous prices they are charging.

They installed one of our units when we put an addition on our house and we have used them ever since. I called Facemyer on a Monday morning in late June (already 95 degrees every day lately), and they came out the NEXT MORNING! They arrived on time, fixed my AC quickly, were very professional, very courteous, answered my questions kindly, and there was absolutely no upsell or you need a new system nonsense, AND they charged me a very fair price. I now have my new AC guy. They deserve the opportunity to be your AC guy too.

We used Facemyer to install and do the first annual service on our a/c unit. They are friendly, honest, professional and a local family owned business. I wouldn’t use anyone else. One minor suggestion for improvement though. My service was scheduled for 8:30-9:30 am. When they didn’t show, I called and discovered that it was re-scheduled for noon. Would really have preferred someone calling to let me know. In spite of that, they are still deserving of five full stars.

We had two two surge protectors installed by Facemyer on the Trane heat pump system to eliminate flickering power surges that causes the system to shut down and restart. Flickering power affects the Trane system but not our Lennox heat pump. I depend on Facemyer to service our AC systems. Their techs are knowledgeable and efficient. Facemyer is very dependable.

We have used Facemyer twice now for both or our air conditioner units when they have stopped working. They have been very quick to respond, even on the weekend when our house was 80 degrees and over 90 outside! They have correctly diagnosed the problems both times and both technicians who came out helped us we’re extremely knowledgeable and helped us better understand our units for the future. All of the Technicians and staff we have met over the years have been extremely helpful and accurate on estimates of required repairs/service. They originally installed our A/C system by Trane 10 years ago and it worked flawlessly summer and winter in the challenging Florida weather including several hurricanes.Would not consider using another company and doubly appreciate their being available during these difficult times.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU HIRE THIS COMPANYI was in the middle of a few pressing life issues because someone broke into my home in SC and caused extensive damage and I’m trying to sell my home in Deltona, when I discovered my AC was not working properly.With a Google search I found Facemyer on 29 Oct 2020. They said to diagnose the problem the service call cost $94.00. Sometimes I figure out how to repair mechanical items, but this time, I thought I would help a small business during these trying times, plus I really did not have the time.The technician said the issue was an imploded capacitor (the capacitor had not imploded, it had swollen and puffed out) and a burned-out contactor. The cost would be $248.00 for the capacitor and $128.00 for the contactor installed plus the initial service call of $94.00 for a total of $470.00 plus Tax. Thinking the price for the parts seemed high, (in front of the technician) I searched Amazon and found the exact same replacement parts. Amazon’s price was $16.05 for the capacitor and $12.81 for the contactor, for a total of $28.86. The technician was going to charge me 1300% above the RETAIL price, Seriously?I showed him the price on Amazon and his answer was “OH, THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA!”. I said “everything is made in China! The Amazon description said genuine GE and Carrier parts. Wrote the technician a check for the service call, ($94.00) and told him I would fix it myself. The price was obscene, almost criminal, and probably considered elder abuse (I will be 71 years old in 2 months).A quick YouTube search showed a video for how to take out the damaged parts and install the new ones. The YouTube video gave easy, clear instructions, my cat Hannah could have followed.I ordered the parts from Amazon for a total of $28.86, delivered the next day. (Copy of Amazon receipt available). Once received, (no exaggeration), it took me 12 minutes to remove both parts and replace with new. I simply, pulled out each old part and installed the new ones and connected the wires as instructed in the video. Once in, I turned on the AC and immediately cold air was coming out of the vents.During these trying times, we are seeing the best of people and the worst of people. You must be the judge which category this company is placed in.Herman P

The young lady that answered was polite and professional and advised that the on call technician would be in touch with us within the hour.
