I just moved to the area and got an eye exam before I moved. My glasses were so bent that one of the arms was practically falling off. They were the first place I could find that would fix them without me being a current patient. So happy that I didn’t have to pay $130+ for an eye exam I didn’t need to get them fixed. The technician was so friendly and tightened both arms beautifully in just a few minutes at no charge! I will definitely be coming back for my next exam.

Dr. Williams is amazing. Listened to my problems, got the prescription right the first time, and had a friendly staff. I highly definitely recommend this place.

Dr. Lauren is so awesome and informative, I’ve been going to this office since 2015, today I called to schedule for next month but the schedule wouldn’t allow which was perfectly fine, I proceeded to ask about other dates, I quickly found that I really didn’t like the attitude of the receptionist, therefore I called another company with great reviews and open availability, I was greeted properly and treated like they wanted MY BUSINESS… I think there needs to be some reform of certain staff members there, this isn’t the first time I’ve been rubbed the wrong way I’m just tired of it at this point.Dr. Lauren you will be missed, thanks for everything you were going to help me with and refer me with my potential eye issue.-Olympia

Great experience from start to finish. The Dr. was very knowledgeable and the office Staff was nice. When I had to get glasses, there was a very wide variety to choose from and I tried on a lot. To me, your eyeware tells a story. I was treated very professionally and was given and felt like part of the family and it was my first visit. Today was my first time going here. Dr. Williams was very professional explained everything. One thing that I did like was for the fact that they take pictures of the backs of your eyes, instead of dilating the eyes. Heather, who helped with my glasses was very nice and professional too. She was also patien with me. Didnt have any problems.

Buyer beware: The manager of this branch doesnt know the difference between coinsurance and copay. We have a 30% coinsurance and she insisted that meant we got a 30% discount. We argued up and down the issue, I showed her how a basic Google search shows thats not how coinsurance works, I then pointed out how Out-of-network shows 50% off retail, so if I pay 50% out-of-network why wouldnt I go out-of-network!? 30% coinsurance means it gets routed through insurance FIRST, they apply their pricing to the items (NOT retail), and finally *I* pay 30% if that total, and insurance pays 70%. In the end I called up the insurance provider and they said I was correct, and to have the manager call them. The manager refused to call and verify, and insisted her biller was correct and 30% Coinsurance just means I get a 30% discount.Due to Covid there was nobody else in her office, and she kept saying she refuses to argue about it in the office and that she would call the provider on her own time....wwwwhat!? No, you just pulled cash from me and want me to walk away and youll figure it out later when Im not around?? She was more concerned about being right than verifying the insurance and billing. I ended up cancelling and refunding.If you want to understand the underlying issues of this particular Optic Center, organize the reviews by lowest rated and read through them before going here.Update: I was called by the manager who apologized and said I was right. If I was given any respect in the office, this would mean something. Instead she decided to coddle her B2B relationship with her biller and completely ignore common sense and the customer. If theres something Sanford has a lot of, its Mattress Stores and Eye Clinics.

My experience at Triangle Visions was excellent. There was no wait time in the waiting room or in the patient room. It’s nice that they have the machine available to scan your retina so that you don’t have to get your eyes dilated. I saw Dr. Williams and she treated me like family. It’s a tad pricey, but the overall experience was very good

I usually go for an eye appointment at least once a year. I have nothing but good things to say about all the people that work there seem to be very friendly. Especially the lady that takes the insurance and payment.

I am beginning my 2nd year as a patient of Dr. Lauren Williams at the Triangle Visions of Sanford. She and her staff members have provided excellent care and support during the past year. I had my second annual exam today. Dr. Williams give a very thorough examination and most importantly, makes sure I clearly understand the findings of my exam. I greatly appreciate her professionalism and very welcoming approach each time I see her! The support technicians and staff at the Sanford office are always friendly and supportive of my questions and needs. I feel fortunate to live close by the Sanford office; however, I would drive a good distance to get the quality care I receive in this office!

When I had my exam done the room was so cold the lens kept fogging up during my exam. I had my glasses made somewhere else. I can not see out of them. The office check and they match the prescription that was given to me and it was made correctly. I asked to be seen as soon as possible because I was moving out of state. They put me a month out and every time I called to check I was put off. I was told I had to see the same Dr that did the exam. I now have an incorrect exam and a set of glasses that ive paid for and can not use. I will not recommend this office to anyone. The front staff feels its no big deal and they could care less.

From the front desk to the examination and glasses selection, every staff member was exceptional! There was an issue with my insurance and the wonderful front desk lady spent over an hour on the phone figuring it out for me. The girl that took me back and did some initial scanning was so upbeat and friendly. The doctor was very sweet and informative and made me feel right at home. The gentleman that helped me pick out my glasses was very helpful and honest and didnt try to pressure me into buying expensive frames that I didnt really need. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed!

I am always very pleased and satisfied with my visits to Triangle Vision. Everyone that works there is so friendly, helpful and professional. I am always made to feel like a VIP. Dr. Williams is awesome. Very upbeat, explains everything that is going on with my eyes (even when not necessarily good), makes me feel that she is genuinely invested in my eyesight. Deneen, who helps me with choosing glasses, has been wonderful over the years, always helping me resolve issues or make adjustments.

I was very impressed with all the staff at Triangle Visions Optometry of Sanford. I saw a visiting doctor, Dr. Clark that was filling in for Dr. Williams. He was very personable and offered me several different options to try for my old eyes. Raoul as the technician that assisted me with my glasses and he was awesome. He spent a lot of time with me, showed me the best way to get the glasses I wanted and needed. He was patient and answered any questions that I had without making me feel like it was a bother. I appreciate how I was treated by every single one of the staff. :)

Excellent service. While they asked for Insurance information I didn’t have on me, I still had the appointment and payment adjusted accordingly because it was in the system. Short wait time. All the staff was friendly, helpful, informative, and made the visit feel welcoming. Dr. Williams is fun and easy-going as well as knowledgeable in her profession, welcoming questions and is very efficient and thorough with her examination and explanations, making the visit painless and even enjoyable. She also remembered me from a visit a year prior. Overall, the entire process was pleasant, painless, and took 40 minutes from walking in to walking out. After a few visits, I’d definitely recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Williams for several years and I will continue to do so. She is very professional, knowledgeable and she explains all procedures and results so you can understand them. Her personality only adds to the Doctor/Patient relationship. Again 5 stars experience.

Dr. Mark Wells was very good! He took his time with me and really looked at my eyes. He explained everything to me and asked me several times if I had any questions for him. I will defiantly be following up with him once a year as needed unless other wise! Awesome Doctor he is! The front office staff at check in were nice, but the new lady at check out was awesome very nice!

Everyone was very nice and I did not have to wait long to be seen. I have taken my children here in the past and decided to go myself since I could be seen right away as there was a cancellation and my eyes had been hurting for 2 weeks already. The exam was fine except due to health issues I would have liked to have been offered an exam that included having my eyes dilated. I was not given the choice to have that or the retinal scan. Im not sure, maybe the scan is standard practice now. I dont trust the retinal scans alone as my husband has damage that can only be seen by dilating his eyes. My prescription was not signed but that didnt matter since it was for single vision and not what I asked for (progressive). It took 4 calls to reach someone to help me get the right one. I received the correct RX the next day. Overall this office is ok and Ive had no problems with them in the past.

Dr. Lauren Williams is an excellent doctor and always looks out for my best interest. It is her professional manner and expertise that will keep my family coming to Triangle Vision. The staff are also excellent and extremely helpful. I always feel very comfortable each time I visit.

I thought I was going to have to make a whole other appointment and buy even more but they helped me out beyond what I thought would happen! The staff are very friendly, the issue I have is they dont seem to correct their mistakes. I went in last yr paid over 500 for glasses Ive never been able to wear. The doctor told me yesterday after checking my old prescription that they had made a mistake and thats why I was never able to use them. I asked why Im having to pay for a new pair this yr if it was their fault, they should be free. They spoke to the manager and said we will take 30% off today. Doesnt seem fair to pay again for their mistakes, but i had to have glasses. I say the doc twice last yr and took my glasses back 4 times and still no help. Im thinking this will be my last visit with your office.

What a great first experience. The staff was professional, friendly, treated me as if theyd known me all their life even though this was my first visit. My eye doctor Lauren Williams was bright, energetic and had such an optimistic personality that she just lighted up the room. There were a lot of choices for glasses/sun glasses and I was able to find the perfect pair with Deneen who was also fantastic. Great first visit, great impression and I would highly recommend.

The offices and waiting rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. All employees were very friendly and courteous. The Doctor was extremely helpful, competent and friendly. I found a pair of glasses I loved in 5 minutes!

I have been going to this same address for over approximately 25 years. The name and staff have changed over the years. Presently the 2 providers I have seen are the best I have ever seen anywhere. Dr. Lauren Williams and Dr. Heather OMara are very personable, friendly, caring, kind, extremely knowledgeable, very professional and take time to explain what they are doing, answer your questions, do not rush you nor rush thru your exam or appointment, give you you time to ask questions and then at the end of your appointment they walk with you to the check out desk which gives you even more time to think of that last minute question. I could not be more please with these 2 very top notch providers. I wholly recommend them to my friends and to you.

Had A great initial experience in June, Dr. Williams and all of her staff were amazing. I was told I needed glasses and decided I wanted to try contacts. I have had some problems with them and called three or four times before I actually got to speak to someone and was told I needed to come back in to see Dr. Williams. It took three weeks from my initial appointment to be able to be seen again but unfortunately I got stuck in traffic and had to reschedule. I called the office 30 minutes before my appointment time but was told the next available day I could be seen was not until September. So even though I had my eye test in June and was trying contacts I have to remain uncorrected until September?? I am very disappointed by the follow up care and think it is unreasonable to have to wait this long to be able to get my vision corrected. I finally just picked up my prescriptions today and I will take my business elsewhere

I have always been very satisfied with Dr. Lauren Williams, her techs and office staff as I was at this last visit. They answer all of my questions and make me feel very comfortable.I had always felt that this was a “full service” office until I wanted to get the basic frames and lenses that Medicare pays for with my cataract surgery from the Optician side of the practice without any upgrades. After a few minutes of the optician trying to get me to use my VSP benefits to get my glasses instead of Medicare because she said they only paid $70 towards frames and me refusing as I wanted to use VSP later this year, she then told me that I couldn’t use Medicare for my glasses because they were not certified for it. I was quite surprised and when I asked her if she knew of a local optician that was certified that I could use, she said that she didn’t know and that I would have to check with Medicare. I thanked her and said OK. This is why I gave a 3 star survey instead of a 5 star survey. I have to go to another optician to get the glasses covered by Medicare.

I will never go back to this optometrist. I went here about 10 months ago for contact fitting and was given multiple different contacts to bring home to try on... which was fine but it was like the dr didn’t have time to spend with me to really figure out what was comfortable. I brought them home and tried them and none of them were working for me. With going back two different times we still couldn’t get it right and I was given more contacts. I tried to make another appointment and the lady told me to call back in a couple days bc their computer system was being updated so it would’ve kicked out my appt. so I did and was told I would have to pay for my visit bc it was over 3 months since my first visit... when I never got anything resolved... I decided to make the trip to cary to the eye care center at Barnes and noble which is where I have gone for years before I moved to Sanford... the cary eye care center needed my records they had at this optomotrist to where I could only be charged $50 for a fitting instead of $150... so we faxed over the request for them to release my records... at this time I was in my appt and they said don’t worry about it they will make sure they have them sent before my check up in two weeks with the new contacts... my appt was today at eye care center and triangle vision STILL did not send my records over... I think the eye care center realized what all I have gone through for months of headaches and not having the correct prescription etc and they said it was ok, they would still only charge me the $50... I will never go back to triangle vision and I have no problem traveling the 40 minutes to eye care center in cary to be properly taken care of... oh and the prescription they put me in at vision was completely off! My stigmatism contacts were off causing headaches and for discomfort every time I blinked. I’m now in a contact that finally feels great and no headaches.

I hadnt been to the eye dr. in quite awhile...and they were great...super easy - very friendly and i would highly recommend them!

I was seen promptly after arriving for my scheduled appointment for an eyeglass and contact exam; however everything with the optometrist seemed rushed and i felt like i was interrupting something else she had going on. In and out of the exam room before i could fully adjust to the dim lighting. The optometrist had to go and find the right contacts, as the initial ones left me entirely unable to see due to both the left and right eye prescriptions being off, which she attributed to my having astigmatism in both eyes, and told me to sit with the optician and she would bring them out, which she did about 30 minutes later. The optician who sold me my glasses was great and very willing to take time with me and help me find frames that i liked and that suited me. i placed the order for my glasses and left after inserting my new proper contacts. as i was leaving i noticed that the vision in my left eye was not quite right but figured it was due to wearing contacts which i havent done in years. this persisted until my glasses came and the same problem persisted. so now i have to get my prescription, which by the way was not mentioned to me during the exam, like every single other eye exam i have been to elsewhere, and order everything new off some online vendor that will let me tweek the left eye so i can actually see and not get these tremendous headaches.
