My appointment was at 3 pm & it was busy. The doctor saw me on time which was nice. Peter assisted me in choosing glasses (I don’t enjoy shopping) Peter listened to me and picked out the perfect pair. Roman stepped in to assist as another pair for gifting needed a price. Good to see teamwork. Thank you to Dr. Joshua Vo and staff as well.

They are terribly inefficient. Never answer their phones or return calls. They don’t follow through when they say they will. Always overbook and have too many people than they can take care of in the allotted time. If my insurance wasn’t already charged I would go somewhere else. I will NOT purchase ANYTHING once prescriptions are finalized. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME COMING HERE!!!!

They are very nice. One time, one of my nose pads fell off. I went to LensCrafters and asked them if they could help me. They said YES. They did not charged me. I said to myself, the next time I need glasses, I will come over here.. I was very impressed with their attitude.

I have seen both Dr Vo and Dr Nguyen at this location. Both physicians are friendly, professional and offer good advice on eye care and preventive measures we can take as patients to avoid further damage to our eye sight. Both physicians do a thorough job. Love them both.I always purchase my glasses and lenses from this location as well. Nicole is our favorite employee on the customer service side. She is very knowledgeable of the stores inventory and has a great sense of style. While waiting for my appt she always leaves a tray w eyeglass frame suggestions (based on her knowledge of our personal styles). Most of the time I prefer her choices over what we originally picked out. It’s like she’s become our personal eyeglass stylist over the years. She is friendly, professional, and knows her stuff!

Just came here today for yearly exam. Everyone had on mask who worked here. Which was great, they cleaned all the glasses and equipment. Still friendly service as well.Have to give a special thanks to Amy and Dr Wynn (the female doctor) both these ladies were amazing. Loved how nice they were and made sure we were well taken care of.So needless to say we will continue to come here.Thanks

Great doctor. Not at all happy with the staff in front they dont communicate at all no reason I had to wait almost 4 weeks for my glasses and no one ever called me I called several times and kept being told that they were in and waiting for someone to do something with them and they would call me. That never happened I had to drive out there to get it resolved I want get my glasses nor the rest of my family there again.

I moved here and have purchased many pairs of glasses from LensCrafters over the years. I recently went into the Sanford FL location to get my glasses adjusted and the nose pads replaced. They took my glasses but even though they were staffed with three associates — every time a new customer came in they stopped working on my glasses and helped the new customer. After over a half an hour wait I asked them to return my glasses as I could not wait any longer. This store is all over you if you are about to buy a new pair of glasses but if you come in for service after the sale you are relegated to the end of the line. Unacceptable customer service in my humble opinion. This needs to be corrected!!

Dr. Vo always goes above and beyond. I have complicated eyes but he always takes the time to get my script just right. I’ve had to come a few times for infections and he always treats me with respect and dignity, instead of condescension like other doctors. This is a doctor’s office, not a fast food restaurant, so I don’t understand the reviews complaining about waiting. Your health, including your eyes, are worth a little wait. Even though I have moved farther away, I still drive the distance to come to this location.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced ever. I usually go to the one in Daytona but today I was by the area and stopped by the one here in Sanford. As I’m writing this I’ve been standing here for 20 minutes waiting for the employees to stop talking so much and flirting with customers and just do a simple adjust of my glasses. I wouldn’t blame the company for the fools because the one in Daytona has much better customer service than the one here. These people are a bunch of losers and I’m still standing here as they flirt with 2 ladies.

As I was trying to explain to her what was going on with my lenses, the lady just started grabbing and bending my frames. They fit great before but now not so much, she bent the front and then the sides after I asked her to stop bending them a couple of times. And then when I said this was making me nervous because you’re not listening to me and that I was going to Altamonte she said “wow”

Never had such a quick experience trying to get an eye exam. Professional and knowledgeable. I called lens crafters before coming in and spoke to a very nice lady that gave us accurate information before coming which made our process so streamlined. When I came in with my daughter they were very busy, but I was greeted three times and advised I would be attended to. My daughter suffered an injury and could no longer wear her contacts so she absolutely needed her glasses. Everyone from the person that filled the prescription and built the glasses (he stayed on late to make mt daughters glasses), to the man that was helping another customer at the end.. They were awesome! This was the friendliest staff. They sincerely cared and it showed. Thank you! Thank you! 💕

Staff was very friendly but a scheduled eye exam took over 2 hours start to finish. They do the basic test first, then have to wait 45 minutes to see optometrist to do first half of exam, and then wait another 45 minutes to finish up the exam. It appears that they schedule 5 to six people at the same time and split the optometrist between all 5 people making your appointment over 2 hours.

For years j have chosen Lens Crafters because I am able to get a single vision pair of glasses in about an hour. I select and purchase the SAME thing today and AFTER I pay am told that it will be 10 days because it was a very basic lens...which make absolutely no sense!! Having worked in optical as a COA for over 10 years, I think k know better. Bottom line..your merchandise is very expensive and I ONLY pay the extra for the convenience of not having to wait. But if that is no longer a factor... WHY SHOP HERE?... The answer is, I wont.

3 times in a row I had to call after 3 weeks to find out where my glasses were. Absolutely no customer service in regards to orders. 2 times it took over 4 weeks to get my new glasses because they do not contact the purchaser if there are delays in getting frames. Is it that hard to call someone and say hey your frames are on back order do you want to wait or select a different color. Horrible I will not be going back to this location.

A month and 10 days ago I bought my glasses there, they told me that they were going to take 2 weeks, that they were going to communicate by phone to let me know when I could pick up them, they NEVER CALLED ME, and when we call, they never know anything. They replied that they have many customers waiting and then they will communicate by phone. AND NEVER CALLED ME The work staff they have is a disaster !!!

The doctor was great. The girl who helped me with my contacts, great. My insurance is accepted there for glasses. What they failed to tell me was that the appointment was not covered, nor was the temp contacts I received. $203 later I’m furious. They were so nice about it but did zero for me. As a matter of fact, they placed some of blame on me for not inquiring. They have lost a customer for life. Unacceptable service is a big “no no” is this competitive environmental. They ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Rude and unhelpful. The lady gave me lip service on the phone and I had to ask more questions because she was giving me basic answers without any details. Very uninformative and rude, sounds like she hates her job and needs a man. Also $80.00 at LensCrafters for an eye exam vs. $45 at America Best, with better reviews and better services..makes decisions very easy. I would not recommend this location, simple as that.

I was supposed to get my new glasses today. I was so happy to see again. Nope prescription was all wrong, couldnt see. On top of that couldnt see out of my progressive looked down at my phone through the lense it was crooked. Now I have to get another exam again, maybe they will get it right this time.I doubt there will be a reply here regarding this. I go back today if they dont get it right....

AWFUL patient care, lenses ordered in correctly, incorrect prescription diagnosed leaving me in agonizing pain and ultimately no lenses. Did not even put demo lenses in my frames when they gave them back making it almost impossible for someone else to put lenses in them. The staff could CARE LESS and the prices of the lenses were outrageous. This went on for 3 weeks before Id had enough!

I love Dr Vo!! He is,very thorough and personable. The glasses at Lenscrafters are a little pricey but you have to remember it is a mall location and you get them in an hour. If you are not a rush, take your script elsewhere. I have never had them pressure me to buy glasses there.

Give this location another chance. Things have really changed for the better!My husband and I have been going to LensCrafters for the last 3 years. I will admit....my first experience at the Merritt Island location was not great. However, when we moved back to Sanford I thought I would give it a go because it was convenient and I know they carry the brands I like.I can understand why people were giving them bad reviews in the past. I saw Dr. Vo last June and he was marvelous. The office staff were very friendly...but the sales side was lacking. I didnt get glasses that day.Dr. Vo is the reason I returned this year with my husband and I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service we received after this visit. ***Things have changed for the better***It is pricey...but I dont mind paying a little more for the convenience, speed of the whole process and designer brands.had a great salesperson, the manager introduced himself to me...the gentleman who actually worked on my lenses came out and assisted me as well. I actually had fun. Ive never written a review on google...but I felt compelled after seeing their current rating. Give them another shot...you wont be sorry.

Worst customer service experience ever. if I could give zero stars I would. They are overpriced to begin with because I saw my same frames that are $99 in store, for $53 online with another vision provider. Lenscrafters has limited selections and when you spend time in the selection you are pointed to, then select a frame only to be told its not available for prescription or they want you to picture how it would look with another lens or frame (?).. instead of bringing up an example online. They try to service too many customers at once so it is taking 30 mins to get thru setting up for your glasses because they want to stop and help everyone else that comes in the door. Or hand you off to another person if a customer they prefer to wait on comes in. I wasted 2.5 hours of my life that I wont get back, and on a day I was told would be fairly easy /less traffic. When I voiced my discontent, the mood of the person helped me changed and she got short with me!!! as if they reserved the right to be upset ..with limited selections that are overpriced. I post this to spare any unsuspecting customer the pain, save your time and money go elsewhere. going to an eye doctor in the mall, you will get what comes with a mall environment. Too busy to care and not enough selections. do your research ask around and go somewhere that values your time and money. and everyone is entitled to their opinion even the dummy that is referring to the rest of us as dummies because we have a voice regarding our bad customer service experiences. :)

I went there to get my glasses adjusted (just got them online) and initially they were like oh yeah we can totally do that for u! and then they looked at the brand and they were like oh, AcTuAlLy, we cant do that for u bc this brand uses a material that cant be heated and bent. I later went to who I usually go to for my glasses (Bayhead, theyre the bomb) and they had absolutely no problems adjusting them. i told them abt my exp here and they were like yea no thats bs they just wanted u to buy THEIR glasses so yea dont buy from them theyre greedy.

I want to commend the staff at Lenscrafters. They do a great job balancing constant customer demands and working with the eye doctors as well. They are well trained, have a great attitude and are extremely patient and helpful. I also want to mention that Dr. Vo is an extremely direct, through and pull no punches doctor. He is skilled at his trade and has a reverence for the engineers who develop the latest vision technology. I highly recommend this doctor if you have any suspected problems. He will identify them. Just got off the phone with the retail clerk and she quoted me $278.67 for a lense replacement because we didnt buy the frames from them! And that is with a 20% discount! Are you kidding me? That is why I told her we dont do business with Lenscrafters because their prices are insane! Why would a company want to steer people away from them? We are patients of Dr. Vo and have been going to him for years. Now we have no vision insurance and were truly interested in having our lenses done here. When she got back to me with the price, the first thing she said was, Youre price shopping, right? then started to give me a quote. I was annoyed with her attitude but maybe she owns Lenscrafters and is so wealthy beyond belief that she doesnt need our business! Take your business to Visionworks in the mall. At least their prices are below $100 for the same thing Lenscrafters quoted me!

Today i was expecting to get a new pair of glasses from your store located in the mall in Sanford FL.My experience with Lenscrafters started out as a positive one, the salesman was courteous and welcoming and helped me with any questions that i had. After explaining i had already made the decision to get a particular pair of frames he lead me to the optometrist center where i was introduced to the office assistant. She too was very professional and listened when i had questions to ask.I filled out all of the forms that were required of me, including the basic uses and specialty uses i might use my glasses for.I was then led into the exam room by the assistant and given the pretests for the eye exam. when the assistant was finished she said the optometrist would be with me shortly. It was at this point that my experience at your store became unpleasant.I was given the immediate feeling that she had not read any of the answers to the questions that i had answered earlier, nor the intended uses of the glasses. This lead to much reiterating much what i had already answered.I had expressed that as i work as a automotive technician, my job requires me to see both far and near, and her response to my concern about this was to Take off your glasses This is not only not an option, it is hazardous to my health to do so.Throughout the exam by the optometrist i felt as though i was being rushed along, and when i questioned the her about the process of the exam she said that what i was seeing was all that my eyes had to see. As though if she had already determined what strength my prescription should be, not by my needs by but her opinions and standards were.As a result I do not feel that my eye exam had yielded accurate results, and would not be in by best interest of the health of my eyes.Furthermore, This planted a unease that lingered throughout the rest of the experience.Needless to say, and i did not make the purchase i had intended to make today.I understand that payment was issued for services rendered but under these circumstances i feel as though the service i received was inadequate and incomplete, and that it would be in my best interest, not to use, and discard the prescription that was given to me.I believe that the associates of this particular store should be given a lesson in customer service and perhaps in ethics as well.

I have always had a good experience at this LensCrafters location. I went there a few days ago and thought that I should write a review. Upon, arrival we waited and because we were there early and a family of three, they took us in a little earlier than scheduled. One of their exam rooms was having technically difficulties and they fixed it quickly. Dr. Vo has left my family and I, a good impression ever since we started going to LensCrafters for checkups. He makes small talk and tells you what has changed since the last time we had been there. Overall, LensCrafters has left a good impression every time my family and I visit.

The girl at check in counter for eye test was totally unprofessional and unconcerned. We have previously used the LensCrafters at Fort Myers and when we moved here, we thought we will have the same experience at Sanford but....No, I had a terrible 1st time experience.The one star was for the Glennita Larue, the store manager, Glennita was great and she tried to make amend for the shortcomings of the eye test center but she had no control of the doctor or eye test department. I was still not seen for the eye test I scheduled.Very uncaring eye doctor and assistant.

What an awesome staff and doctors!! I was tbere with my daugther and got us both an eye exam and glasses, and sunglasses as well. The staff helped us picked the best frames that fit our faces the best. All the ladies there and in Dr. Vo office were very professional.One of their lens technicians Anthony even came out the second time I went there to help me with adjusting my eyeglasses as I was having a bit trouble adjusting, to them, and he explained a few things very well. I highly recommend Lenscrafters!

Worst customer service I have EVER experienced! Completely ignored me like i wasnt even there! Appt was for 12:30. I arrived at 12:15 and was told that they were behind on appts and if id be okay seeing a different doctor i agreeded and then sat there for an hour while every single employee walked past me and completely blew me off. 15 more mins go by and I walked up to the counter to find out why 10 people with appts after me walk in and get sent back right away. Lady says well maybe their appts arnt as complex as yours. (I was there for a routine eye exam). When I told her that she said well idk what to tell you. Wow lenscraftes you have defentily lost my business and will for sure be telling EVERYONE I know how horrible your customer service is and to not do business with you!!!!

This review is for my first and only experience at Seminole Town Center LensCrafters in late January 2015. Having recently moved to the area, I opted to visit an eye doctor closer to me as opposed to my regular eye doctor in another city. LensCrafter afforded me the opportunity to easily schedule an appointment online at a convenient time.Upon arriving, the staff was courteous, and I was easily able to fill out paperwork. They accept many types of insurance. These are the pros of my experience.At the time of my appointment, the optometrist, Dr. Mimi Nguyen was running behind schedule, so I had to wait longer than normal, somewhere between 20-30 min past my appointment time, which was inconvenient but expected.When it was my turn with Dr. Mimi, we went through the standard exams for lenses. Dr. Mimi likes to explain concepts in great detail, which is good for some people, but annoying for others like myself who have regular checkups. Her personality was a bit abrasive, and I felt she came off a little like a know it all. I believe she was a newer physician because a saw a degree from UCF on the wall, so maybe thats why she lacked bedside manner.Because Im honest, I always admit to my eye doctors that I occasionally sleep in my contacts, which I am aware isnt good for me (I always add that last statement). I expect one statement along the lines of thats true - its not good for the health of your eyes or something. But, at my admission, Dr. Mimi began patronizing me. I got lectured for about five minutes with some additional remarks throughout the rest of my entire exam. Furthermore, she wrote up a statement that stated something along the lines of (Im paraphrasing): The patient slept in her contacts, and, therefore, her prescription may be off. The doctor is not responsible for this. The patient wishes to continue the exam. And, then I was required to sign it in order to receive a prescription. This was the MOST ABSURD thing Ive ever seen at a doctors appointment. So, I signed it and finished the exam.Dr. Mimi recommended trying 3 different contacts for one of my eyes because I have bad astigmatism, which I thought would be fine because my usual optometrist lets me take home contacts, try them out and then writes a prescription. But, things were different here....So, I waited two weeks for my contacts to come in and then schedule an appointment to come back in. They give me the contacts to put in. Then, Im told that I should wait 15 minutes and go walk around the mall to see if theyre still comfy. Im thinking this is a waste of time, but I do that and come back. When I return, Dr. Mimi is busy with all her appointments and I have to wait an additional 15-20 min before a staff member tells her take a minute to look at me. Im given a quick eye exam, which I pass (my prescription was just fine even though I wore my contacts before my first exam - imagine that!). Then, she asks me if I want to try out another pair, wait another 15 minutes. I tell her that Im satisfied with these as I wanted to get out of there. Furthermore, she planned to schedule a follow up appt in 2 weeks to see if they were still comfortable, which I canceled.Ive never had such a complicated time getting contacts before. If you have lots of time to kill and love multiple appointment follow ups with someone who has no bedside manner, this is the optometrist you should schedule. If thats not your thing, I suggest booking with a different physician.By the way, I would not order contacts through LensCrafters because they are ridiculously expensive. I typically search online for the best price then contact 1-800 contacts and price match as 1-800 contacts can get pricy, too. They do have great customer service, and I typically receive my contacts within a week or less even though they say it takes 2 weeks.

Eye exam and appointment went alright, but because of poor communication and training from associates, did not convey that I was not getting a script filled despite asking for a refill. Called back multiple times and was told the order was pending. 2 weeks later I finally got a straight answer that I never filled an order despite associates blindly saying it was on the way. Overall just disorganized. Save yourself the headache.

Walked into this understaffed store for the last time was told it would be a minute it turned into 20 to 25 minutes for waiting and on top of that the only two sales people were busy and the one guy was telling everyone that he would be right with you ten times or so needless to say took all this time to be told it would take 3 weeks after he put all my info in they have no help they are completely understaffed and need help
