I am very impressed with Pak Mails customer service. I am writing this review under my wifes account so my apologies to Pak Mail that the name does not match the order. I own a small business in Naples FL. I purchased an item from auction and the house gave me a few recommendations. Pak Mails responsiveness was very very impressive. From the first contact to them picking up the item the very next day. They gave me an estimate based on the information provided which I felt was also very very reasonable. I have not yet received the item but based on the reviews of past history and their response to emails, I have 100% confidence that the package will arrive safely. I recently purchased accessory items through Turner Auctions. Im in Atlanta, GA and I work in the design industry. My items (heavy marble obelisks) arrived yesterday and I was EXTREMELY pleased with the care taken in packing a very heavy yet fragile pair of items. They arrived in perfect condition and I couldnt have asked for more. My company constantly received decorative items and these, though mine personally, were handled beautifully. Their pricing was fair and competitive as well based on freight charges with which I constantly deal.

Posting under my sons account. I purchased a large, heavy (130 lbs) bronze sculpture from Machaans Auctions. Pak Mail picked it up from the auction house, packed it very securely and shipped it via freight, as UPS and FedEx were not an option because of the weight. Staff were very responsive by phone and email, and got this complicated job done right. Highly recommend.

This is one of the few independent shippers I have used that I was totally impressed with. I sent an email to them asking for an estimate and got a response within a few hours. We went ahead and did the deal and the stuff I bought from Michaans auction was on its way within a couple days. I actually got another estimate from a different shipper long after the items were already shipped..they were so slow to respond and the price was almost double. Pak Mail did a great job with my two oversized wooden signs. Thanks!!!

After no response from different store on Clars Auctions suggested shipper list, these folks at Pak Mail got right back to me, gave me shipping options and got my item to me efficiently and safely. Well done and I will contact them again.

I had Pak Mail collect a framed art work from Clars Auction house in Oakland, pack and post it to me in New Zealand. They were competitive on cost but the packing itself was outstanding and the handling efficient. It arrived here both in good order and quickly which in the current Covid days is hardly the norm. There was always the potential for damage given my work was enclosed in a glass frame. But on opening you could see it was so well packed that damage was highly unlikely.

If you need to ship something of value that you want to arrive looking like it did before the journey, PakMail is the dream team you need. From the engineers that design and fill your package (as if they were sending eggs to the International Space Station) to the retail team that develops accurate estimates and makes sure you have the tracking information needed, these people are the very best!

Passport photo is low quality and expensive

I have used this shipper to ship one of the item from Clars auction Gallery. It was a beautiful painting, which is an Easter gift. However, due to the poor packaging, the painting was ruined. The replacement cost is $900-$1,000. I have tried to contact the Pak Mail, but they do not admit its their responsibility rather they have only filed $100 basic insurance and ask me to wait 4-6 weeks and learn my lesson. I have told them to refund part of my shipping and settle this, but they never respond. So I feel that I have to post this horrible experience. I will avoid using this company at any cost. Thanks.Update: The owner has mailed me a check of basic insurance and refund me a part of the shipping fee. Although this is a bad experience, I appreciate the gesture and nice service of this shipper. Thanks.

Bought a Andy Warhol Goose at Auction. This Pak Mail was suggested.I called and received a quote. They picked the piece up at the auction house and packed PERFECTLY and was shipped to my door from Fed Ex . I place a bid in an Auction and was successful. I was a couple of thousand miles away. I contact Pak in advance of the bid at the auction. I gave them incomplete information regarding the material I was going to have them ship. They went on the auciton site on their own to find the article I was bidding on in order to give me an estimate. I was successful and they pack the 77 pieces of China and they arrive perfect. I also gave them an incomplete shipping address (I didnt make it easy for them) and they picked that up. Very helpful and great service.

I buy a lot of expensive French Crystal from online auction houses all over the country. Many refer me to third party shippiers as they dont have in-house shipping. In general, Ive come to hate this practice because the shippers frequently charge prices that are way over the top for the service provided. For example, I recently bought a crystal vase measuring 9.5 inches tall by 7.5 inches in diameter and was charged $167 by a Connecticut UPS Store for pickup, pack, and ship.Thats outrageous. I know what shipping really costs because I do my own packing and shipping to my online customers.Compare that vase shipping charge rip-off to the satisfying transaction I had with Pak Mail San Rafael. They chaged me $187 to pickup, pack, and ship seven expensive Lalique and Daum crystal items. One item was a very large and heavy crystal sculpture. Another was a large deer figurine with delicate and easily broken antlers. All were packed carefully and affived safely via FedEx Ground.

Had them ship and pack an antique cash register to Saint Louis. With it being heavy and fragil ....not an easy task. I have had other shippers fail before, even after giving instructions. I gave no instructions to pack mail and they were able to figure it out on their own and pack exactly how I would pack my own......fair price as well.....

I had them pack a painting from an auction that I had one. I had insured the item for the full auction value. When it arrived the glass was broken and the painting was damaged. I was told that the insurance I purchased was not through FedEx but through a third party company however I had already filed a claim with FedEx. FedEx refunded me cost of shipping, which was about half of what the actual charges were from Pak Mail, and I have only now received a partial payment for the cost to have a painting repaired and the glass replaced. The company stated that I had already received payment from FedEx and therefore would not receive the remainder of my insurance claim which was not through FedEx but through a third party liability company. Not only did I pay twice the actual cost to ship the item, but the item was damaged in shipment and the company will not stand behind their insurance.

A little on the expensive side, but they packaged my item very well and their customer service was fantastic.

They did a great job shipping my office across the country. All was picked up quicky and professionally. Well packaged. Price was very reasonable. Shipped quickly got my stuff under two weeks. They did well above my expectation. Highly recommend them. Thaks Pak Mail keep up the great job!

The professionals at Pak Mail picked up my items, wrapped them with care, packed them in a nearly indestructable fashion, and shipped them accross the country for me. Those boxes could have fallen from three stories up and the contents would have been fine, even though they were extremely fragile Chinese porcelain garden stools. Thanks, Pak Mail!!!
