I looked around searching for a storage space in Southern Marin. I am so glad I found this place. The customer service was outstanding. The unit is new clean and cool. They let me switch sizes when I moved in without any hassle. The security makes me feel safe with storing stuff here. I cant recommend them enough!

BE MINDFUL OF UNEXPECTED CLOSURES--I was left waiting for over an hour and a half on move-in day with my hourly movers & truck while the single attendant took a 2 hour lunch break--all during normal operating hours. I showed up at 1:25pm with my movers to find a closed and locked office with a sign saying theyd be back at 3pm. I had spoken with the location manager the day prior notifying her of my expected moving truck arrival time for the next day and was told there was no need to schedule an arrival time, they would be there all day to let us into our unit. Unfortunately, someone was sick and the single attendant took a long break leaving the facility unattended for hours. I had movers on the clock and no one called me to let me know about the closures even though they knew I was coming in with movers that day.This is obviously a very unfortunate one-off situation, but it would not happen at a larger storage facility so its something to keep in mind when considering options. Managements handling of the situation has been disappointing--it has been a week since the incident and I have not heard from the District Manager about how they will remedy the situation.

They have good customer service, I am glad I got storage services from StorQuest.

This was the first time we have rented a storage unit. Very clean and dry and not too dusty, Cart on wheels was always available to move stuff in and out. Management was friendly, helpful and available. A very positive experience.

The folks at Storquest are always helpful and will do anything to facilitate the storage process and to get you a good deal. Probably the best deal in San Rafael. I am very happy with them and recommend them highly!

She took her time to show my husband and I several units and made candid recommendations based on our individual needs.StorQuest on Gary Place is super easy to access from the freeway; their rates are better than competitive, and I will not worry about our belongings while theyre in this facility. The staff at Storquest were so kind and understanding! My colleague and I went in to ask them to donate a space for a local holiday toy drive so we could keep our toys safe during collection. We had worked with the previous owners but never with them. We were delighted that they agreed to support our efforts! They waived the fee and we’re so gracious about it!

I have had two storage units at this facility for over nine years before StorQuest purchased it a couple of years ago. SQ made some amazing changes. The building was repainted, the management office neatened up and the entire facility cleaned up in general. I’d had a rodent problem in one of my units and the first thing the new management did was to clear away all of the bushes from the grounds where vermin like to live. I never had any complaints about the facility before SQ took over, but the changes are so positive that I’m happy they did!

The service reps are very friendly and attentive to their customers, which Ive found to be rare in the storage rental industry. When I booked a unit, the rep was late and gave me a discount off my first month - great way to make up for lost time! And when I moved in, the reps were very courteous throughout the experience. It also helps that they have the lowest rates in town.
